WASHINGTON — At age 4, Marvin Nicholson hit his first golf ball on the nine-hole course his father had mowed into the front of the family’s farm in Ontario. By 7, he had won a Canada Dry Ginger Ale trophy for sinking a hole in one at the local public course. He caddied through college, carried Senator John Kerry’s clubs in Nantucket and then lugged so many of Mr. Kerry’s bags during the 2004 presidential campaign that he distributed business cards stamped with “Chief of Stuff.”

A decade later, Mr. Nicholson has reached back to his golfing roots to become President Obama’s secretary of swing. Mr. Nicholson, 42, has played golf with the president about 140 times, far more than anyone else in or out of government.

At a time in Mr. Obama’s presidency when political, national security and sartorial critics are chanting, “You’re doing it wrong,” Mr. Nicholson, whose official title is White House travel director, is a trusted source of good vibes. A nonjudgmental figure who will never question the president’s double-bogeys or his shifting red line in Syria, Mr. Nicholson, a geography major from the University of Western Ontario, rounds out the president’s foursomes and soothes his frayed feelings.

Huawei CFO Meng's lawyer says 'double criminality' at center of U.S. extradition case

A lawyer for Huawei Chief Financial Officer Meng Wanzhou argued on Monday that “double criminality” was at the center of a trial to decide whether Meng can be extradited to the United States, a case that has strained relations between Ottawa and Beijing. Meng, 47, arrived in a Vancouver courtroom wearing a dark top with polka dots, for the first phase of a trial that will last at least four days, as China repeated its call for Canada to release her.

Legal experts have said it could be years before a final decision is reached in the case, since Canada’s justice system allows many decisions to be appealed. The United States has charged Meng with bank fraud, and accused her of misleading HSBC Holdings Plc about Huawei Technologies Co Ltd’s [HWT.UL] business in Iran. Court proceedings show the United States issued the arrest warrant, which Canada acted on in December 2018, because it believes Meng covered up attempts by Huawei-linked companies to sell equipment to Iran, breaking U.S. sanctions against the country.

Meng is the daughter of Huawei’s billionaire founder Ren Zhengfei and remains free on bail in Canada. She has said she is innocent and is fighting extradition in part because her alleged conduct was not illegal in Canada, an argument known legally as “double criminality.” Unlike the United States, Canada did not have sanctions against Iran at the time Canadian officials authorized commencing with the extradition, her lawyers have said. The courtroom was packed with only standing room available.

Meng’s legal team is currently only scheduled to call evidence in the last week of April, and a second phase of the trial, focusing on abuse of process and whether Canadian officials followed the law while arresting Meng, is set to begin in June. Closing arguments are expected in the last week of September and first week of October.

Unbeknownst to many Whites, Canada's Prime Quisling Trudeau is now in high gear in his effort to make Canada's majority White population into a minority as soon as possible.

For many years after Confederation, immigration served the interests of Canada and its majority population first. However, since 1990, immigration has served the interests of Canada's majority population last.

Ethnic groups now see immigration as a way to increase their numbers. Political parties see immigration as a way to increase their votes. Bankers see new immigrants as new customers to whom they can lend money. Immigration lawyers see new immigrants as a way to fatten their bank accounts. Immigration consultants see immigration as jobs for themselves. Immigration advocates who have a naive idea of social justice see immigration as a way to achieve social justice for the world's poor.

Total Number of Foreign Nationals now entering Canada through both legal immigration programs and through illegal border crossing into Canada is around 1 million.

Here is a breakdown :

340,000 Immigrants in the Economic & Family Class: The immigration lobby claims that these people are skilled workers and that Canada needs them. Here's the problem: The "need" has never been proven. Even if it were true, the fact is that only about 20% of the 340,000 are skilled. The majority are spouses and children of skilled workers.

500,000 to 700,000 International Students are now in Canada: We conservatively estimate that about 150,000 new International students enter Canada every year. Universities claim that foreign students are a financial benefit to Canada. However, no Canadian educational institution has ever conducted research to prove that contention. In contrast, a study by the U.S. Academy of Sciences shows that, in the case of Graduate Students, the U.S. public is subsidizing each one to the amount of $12,000.

The ancestors of Canada's majority population spent the last 150 years building Canada's education infrastructure. If they could see that it was now being given away to aliens who are probably displacing Canadians for spaces in those education institutions and that a significant number of these aliens (Muslim Brotherhood members especially) bear malice towards Canada, they would roll over in their graves. Are our politicians so busy with their boot-licking that they cannot see what is happening?

150,000 Temporary Foreign Workers: According to StatsCan, in the years 2013 to 2017, Canada allowed 540,807 Temporary Foreign Workers to come to Canada to work temporarily. We assume there are about 500,000 TFW's here now and that an inflow of close to 150,000 enters per year to maintain that number. Note this: It took Canada's Immigration Department 816 pages to compile a list of the employers who brought TFW's to Canada in the years 2013 to 2015. TFW employers are supposed to look first for Canadians to fill jobs, but many are cheating and seeking employees in other countries first. 50,000 to 60,000 Illegal Border Crossers: According to Canada’s Border Police (Canada Border Services Agency or CBSA), about 50,000 Illegals entered Canada in each of the three years starting in 2017. Ten days ago, shortly after China first started reporting the cases and deaths associated with the coronavirus epidemic, a UK researcher predicted that over 250,000 Chinese would be infected with the virus by February 4. And while according to official Chinese data, the number of infections has indeed soared in the past two weeks, at just under 25,000 (and roughly 500 deaths), it is a far cry from this dismal prediction, about ten times below that predicted by the epidemiologists.

Is this discrepancy possible? Is the epidemic truly far less serious than conventional epidemiological models predicted? Or is China merely hiding the full extent of the problem?

After all, it the WSJ itself reported in late January , China was explicitly manipulating the casualty number by listing pneumonia as the cause of death instead of coronavirus. Subsequent reports that Wuhan officials were rushing to cremate coronavirus casualties before they could be counted did not add to the credibility of the official data.

But the biggest hit to the narrative and China's officially reported epidemic numbers came overnight, when a slip up in China's TenCent may have revealed the true extent of the coronavirus epidemic on the mainland. And it is nothing short than terrifying.

As the Taiwan Times reports in a report first spotted by user @TheHKGroup, over the weekend, Tencent "seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures", and were far closer to the catastrophic epidemic projections made by Jonathan Read.

According to the report, late on Saturday evening, Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

And while the number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300, most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

Moments later, Tencent updated the numbers to reflect the government's "official" numbers that day.

This was not the first time Tencent has done this: as Taiwan Times notes, Chinese netizens have noticed that Tencent has on at least three occasions posted extremely high numbers, only to quickly lower them to government-approved statistics.

This is where it gets even more bizarre: contrary to claiming that this was just a "fat finger" mistyping of data, observant Chinese netizens also noticed that each time the screen with the large numbers appears, it shows a comparison with the previous day's data which demonstrates a "reasonable" incremental increase, much like comparisons of official numbers.

This led many in the mainland to speculate that Tencent has two sets of data, the real data and "processed" data.

In short, two camps have emerged: one, the more optimistic, speculates that a coding problem could be causing the real "internal" data to accidentally appear. The other, far more pessimistically inclined, believes that someone behind the scenes is trying to leak the real numbers, as "the "internal" data held by Beijing may not reflect the true extent of the epidemic."

Indeed, as repeatedly pointed out here and according to multiple sources in Wuhan, many coronavirus patients are unable to receive treatment and die outside of hospitals. Furthermore, a severe shortage of test kits also leads to a lower number of diagnosed cases of infection and death. In addition, there have been many reports of doctors being ordered to list other forms of death instead of coronavirus to keep the death toll artificially low.

OTTAWA, February 7, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — Warnings continue to multiply over the “insane” and “invasive” report that recommends Canada’s Liberal government register and regulate internet media content providers.

A number of commentators in and outside Canada denounced the Broadcasting and Telecommunications Legislative Review (BTLR) panel’s report released last week as a “breathtaking” and unprecedented plan to regulate the internet.

The government-assembled panel of broadcasting experts chaired by Janet Yale was tasked with advising the Liberals on overhauling the country’s allegedly outdated broadcasting laws.

Former CRTC vice-chair of telecommunications Peter Menzies wrote in the Globe and Mail that in a “breathtaking expansion of scope and bureaucratic hubris” and “a series of invasive and unjustifiable recommendations,” the panel “advocated for a sweeping series of interventions that would make all online media – from online sites such as Rabble to Rebel News and in any language – subject to government regulation.”

That was echoed by former CRTC commissioner Timothy Denton, who in a Financial Post op-ed wrote that the report advocates “an unprecedented power grab for the federal government and the CRTC” aimed “at nothing less than a statist counter-revolution against the internet.”

Deputy Premier of New Brunswick Resigns

Robert Gauvin has resigned as deputy premier in the Progressive Conservative government and will sit as an independent MLA.

Gauvin made the announcement in Shippagan on Friday morning in front of a large crowd of supporters, who gave him a long standing ovation.

He said he was quitting over recently announced health reforms, including the nighttime closure of six hospital emergency rooms.

We’re living in dramatic times that are difficult to understand. One way to try to interpret them is through the cryptic clues provided by Q, which appear on an anonymous online forum and imply top-secret knowledge of upcoming events.

As I wrote in my article “An Introduction to Q,”

“Q’s followers believe that Q is a military intelligence operation, the first of its kind, whose goal is to provide the public with secret information… Q is a new weapon in the game of information warfare, bypassing a hostile media and corrupt government to communicate directly with the public.”

It’s interesting to note that shortly after my article was published here, American Thinker suffered a series of unprecedented hacking attempts. Also noteworthy is that Twitter permanently shut down the account of Zero Hedge, a popular finance blog, two weeks after it posted my article.

President Trump continues to bring attention to Q, repeatedly retweeting Q followers, featuring Q fans in his ad campaign, and making a public display of a “Q baby” at a rally. Yet the media never asks Trump the obvious question: What do you think about Q?

Instead, the media keeps ratcheting up its attacks on Q and the ever-growing worldwide movement that Q inspires. On February 9, both the AP and New York Times published blistering anti-Q articles, claiming that Q promotes baseless, debunked far right conspiracies and accusing Q of inciting violence in deranged followers. The day before this latest media ambush, a massive cyber assault temporarily brought down 8kun, the message board on which Q posts. Ron Watkins, 8kun’s administrator, tweeted,

“Attacks have been coming in all day. Very sophisticated and expensive attacks; the person paying for this likely has deep pockets.”

At the same time that 8kun was attacked, X22 Report, which covers Q postings, also was bombarded. On its Twitter feed, the site wrote it was “being attacked from 54 different countries using hundreds of different IP addresses, I have never seen anything like it.”

On February 12, in response to these events, Q posted,

“Highly sophisticated ‘State-level’ attacks [v 8kun] followed by FAKE NEWS attacks [v Q] the next day? Coordinated? Ask yourself a simple question... why? It’s time to wake up.”

Trump Hints at Tarmac Meeting Deal: On June 27, 2016, Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch held a supposedly impromptu meeting on her plane at Phoenix Airport, where they discussed (according to them) golf and grandchildren. Skeptics have long suspected that Clinton and Lynch were working out a deal in which Lynch agreed to drop the probe into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal in exchange for a payoff.

On January 14, at his Milwaukee rally, President Trump offered some insight into the nature of the payoff, when he suggested that Bill Clinton promised Lynch a Supreme Court appointment, which would be conferred after Hillary’s expected victory.

Q followers were already familiar with this scenario, because on February 6, 2018, Q had posted the following message about the Tarmac meeting: SC/LL deal > AS 187

Here’s how some Q followers interpreted that message: The Supreme Court/Loretta Lynch deal was connected to the purported murder of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. (Note: 187 is police code for murder. Q often uses this term when discussing alleged Deep State murders.) Scalia died suddenly at a Texas ranch on February 13, 2016, and was declared dead of natural causes over the phone. No coroner or medical examiner ever saw him and no autopsy was performed.

Trump accuses Adam Schiff of being “a very sick man.” President Trump has accused House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff of various acts of political chicanery, but in a January 26 tweet, he raised his criticism to another level: “Shifty Adam Schiff is a CORRUPT POLITICIAN, and probably a very sick man. He has not paid the price, yet, for what he has done to our Country!”

The president’s words immediately evoked one of Q’s signature phrases, which Trump himself has also said: “These people are sick.” But moving from “these people” to the specific person of “Adam Schiff” marks another phase of disclosure. On January 31, 2018, Q dropped hints that Schiff committed serious criminal acts that connected to the Standard Hotel chain. Q directed attention to a California helicopter crash that had just killed Kimberly Watzman, General Manager of the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, and asked: “What happened @ those hotels?” Perhaps some context for these potential criminal acts may be inferred from Schiff’s close friendship with Ed Buck, a major Democratic donor who was arrested in October 2019 for killing two men with drug overdoses in his apartment and almost killing a third. Schiff has also publicly praised his friend, Dr. Bruce Hensel, the NBC medical correspondent, who was arrested in 2019 for sex charges involving a 9-year-old girl.


Q has named this extraordinary time “The Great Awakening,” in which the world moves from “dark to light.” As the darkness of horrific elite secrets gives way to the light of public scrutiny, our fortitude will be tested. But Q assures us, “You are watching the systematic destruction of the OLD GUARD.” And when the news gets too frightening, it’s worth remembering Q’s oft-repeated directive: “Pray.”

7. Where Things Stand

CIJA is a lobbying organization that is extremely influential in Canada. It has political connections across party lines and spends an inordinate amount of time lobbying and promoting Jewish interests.

By itself, this may not be a problem. However, promoting the interests that this group does directly interferes with Canadian interests. A politician cannot be “CANADA FIRST” and be an Israeli shill at the same time. As the expression goes, a dog cannot have 2 masters.

This group is anti-Canada, and anti-free speech, to name just a few criticisms. Showing what it really does is important to educate the public.

2. Context For This Piece

An awful lot of people criticize “ISLAMIC” influence in Canadian politics. And there is certainly reason to be worried. Creeping Sharia, prohibitions on criticizing Islam, and cultural practices that are incompatible with the West are being pushed. And there are of course, political movements to eventually take over.

However, what isn’t really discussed is the ZIONIST influence in Canadian politics. It’s there, and it’s just as bad as the push for Islam. Difference is, it’s more subtle, and the media is much more controlled on the subject.

About the IHRA

The IHRA is the only intergovernmental organization mandated to focus solely on Holocaust-related issues, so with evidence that the scourge of antisemitism is once again on the rise, we resolved to take a leading role in combatting it. IHRA experts determined that in order to begin to address the problem of antisemitism, there must be clarity about what antisemitism is.

The IHRA’s Committee on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial worked to build international consensus around a working definition of antisemitism, which was subsequently adopted by the plenary. By doing so, the IHRA set an example of responsible conduct for other international fora and provided an important tool with practical applicability for its Member Countries. This is just one illustration of how the IHRA has equipped policymakers to address this rise in hate and discrimination at their national level.

The Working Definition of Antisemitism

In the spirit of the Stockholm Declaration that states: “With humanity still scarred by …antisemitism and xenophobia the international community shares a solemn responsibility to fight those evils” the committee on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial called the IHRA Plenary in Budapest 2015 to adopt the following working definition of antisemitism.

On 26 May 2016, the Plenary in Bucharest decided to:

Adopt the following non-legally binding working definition of antisemitism:

“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”

7. Changing Human Rights Code

Hate messages

13 (1) It is a discriminatory practice for a person or a group of persons acting in concert to communicate telephonically or to cause to be so communicated, repeatedly, in whole or in part by means of the facilities of a telecommunication undertaking within the legislative authority of Parliament, any matter that is likely to expose a person or persons to hatred or contempt by reason of the fact that that person or those persons are identifiable on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination.

Interpretation

(2) For greater certainty, subsection (1) applies in respect of a matter that is communicated by means of a computer or a group of interconnected or related computers, including the Internet, or any similar means of communication, but does not apply in respect of a matter that is communicated in whole or in part by means of the facilities of a broadcasting undertaking.

Interpretation

(3) For the purposes of this section, no owner or operator of a telecommunication undertaking communicates or causes to be communicated any matter described in subsection (1) by reason only that the facilities of a telecommunication undertaking owned or operated by that person are used by other persons for the transmission of that matter.

CIJA wants to bring back Section 13 of the Canada Human Rights Act, which was repealed in 2013. The idea is to make it easier to claim anti-Semitism by pointing to electronic communications.

8. (Internet) Hate Speech, Criminal Penalties

The previous section dealt with “online hate” via the Canada Human Rights Act, but here, CIJA wants to push for it to be “criminally punishable” as well. That’s right, not only would this be a human rights violation, but potentially a criminal offence as well.

Of course, CIJA supports the extremely broad and excessive definition of “anti-Semitism” as laid out by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. Don’t worry, this won’t trample on your free speech or anything.

9. Deportations For “Hate Speech”

One of CIJA’s stated goals is to influence policy to make it easier to remove citizenship of Canadians for a variety of reasons, including what it calls: extreme promotion of hate.

Presumably — although it doesn’t specify — this would only apply to people who immigrate to Canada and later become citizens. One can also assume — but again, it doesn’t state — that after the citizenship is revoked the person would then be deported.

While removing people who commit terrorism and crimes against humanity is certainly a reasonable goal, it is disturbing to see “hate speech” included as well. This is especially true since CIJA doesn’t really believe in free speech to begin with.

It would be interesting (at least in some academic sense), to see how this plays out. Under Bill C-6, we no longer pull the citizenship of actual terrorists. Yet we are now supposed to do so for hate speech?

10. Holocaust Training Obligations

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance unites governments and experts to strengthen, advance and promote Holocaust education, research and remembrance and to uphold the commitments to the 2000 Stockholm Declaration.

The IHRA (formerly the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research, or ITF) was initiated in 1998 by former Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson. Today the IHRA’s membership consists of 34 member countries, each of whom recognizes that international political coordination is imperative to strengthen the moral commitment of societies and to combat growing Holocaust denial and antisemitism.

The IHRA’s network of trusted experts share their knowledge on early warning signs of present-day genocide and education on the Holocaust. This knowledge supports policymakers and educational multipliers in their efforts to develop effective curricula, and it informs government officials and NGOs active in global initiatives for genocide prevention.

Yes, this is very productive: constantly reminding Canadians that Jews are victims.

Interesting to note: IHRA wants to criminalize it (everywhere) to deny or even question the Holocaust, but it is only “this” one that is off limits. Every other alleged atrocity is fair game to dissect and analyse. Perhaps the cover story is falling apart after all these years, so the skeptics must be silenced.

11. CIJA And Durban II

From 20-24 April 2009, the Durban Review Conference took place in Geneva. It is also known as Durban II, a follow-up to the infamous “Durban I” World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in the late summer of 2001. At Durban I, an NGO Forum accepted what can be summed up as a declaration of war against Israel. Participating nongovernmental organizations adopted a strategy for the complete isolation of Israel through boycotts, divestment, and sanctions.

The Durban I is seen as waging war on Israel. So CIJA is trying to lobby Canada and other nations to act as a counter-weight against future proposals or movements.

That is correct. The ISRAELI group has spent years lobbying the CANADIAN Government over how media licenses should be issued. This is straight up foreign interference in our affairs.

The CRTC has recently made many recommendations, including forcing those in the media to get licenses. Understandably, the Minister, Steven Guilbeault, and the Federal Government are taking a lot of flak over this. People may have believed it to be the Islamic groups that led to this, and that certainly is a reasonable suspicion. However, the fact is that CIJA has lobbying specifically for this for many years.

13. More Than Just Free Speech

Of course, there are many other things CIJA advocates for.

One is increasing markets for kosher food, that is food killed in barbaric and inhumane ways (much like Islamic halal). Looks like animal rights don’t matter as long as it is cloaked in culture and diversity.

This group also pushes for increased trade and for changes to the tax code that presumably Jews would personally benefit from.

CIJA also wants to see more immigration with easier pathways. But of course, this only applies to people coming to Canada. Israel can remain an ethno-state. CIJA further wishes to entangle Canada in its military and political obligations.

So there is no denying that this group — which has filed 1248 “communications reports” has been busy trying to change Canada’s laws. But the worst one in the eyes of many is its continuous assault on free speech in Canada.

White Westerners are told that identity politics is evil and wrong. But CIJA, and groups like it, endlessly play JEWISH identity politics in order to get their way. Seems hypocritical.

In Mid December 2018 the United We Roll Convoy was first publicly announced. The issues the convoy wished to bring to Ottawa were as varied as the participants. Many Oil and Gas workers were protesting what they saw as the Liberal governmentsunited kids2 attempt to cripple the Canadian energy sector in favor of Saudi oil while Alberta faced huge layoffs and skyrocketing suicide rates. Many others while not opposing Immigration were deeply concerned with the uncontrolled mass migration called for by the United Nations migrant compact. Thousands were and continue to pour across our border in violation of our Laws somehow claiming to be “refugees” from upstate new York and Minneapolis. Many were appalled by the ceaseless attacks on Canadian identity and culture being pushed constantly by Educators and media. Many objected to the obvious , if yet unpublished corruption, the is the lifeblood of the Trudeau Liberal Party. They were Canadians from every walk of life who used their own resources and crowdfunding. Some brought their families while they ate in cheap truck-stops and slept in their cars driven by their desire to save their country from corruption and ruin.

On December 30th a workshop going by the name of Powershift: Young and Rising/Jeunes en action was posted to Facebook by the parent group identity Powershift. Powershifts Facebook page lists it as being founded in 2009 although as of publication no corporate info seems to exist for it as a Non Profit. This event, and the actions that proceeded from it were labelled by the controlled press as a grassroots Indigenous Youth and allies responding to the racist, colonial, environmentally destructive issues being advocated by the Convoy. It was anything but.

Canada’s Largest Stock Exchange Suffers Worst Loss Since 1940

Canada’s largest stock exchange plunged more than 12 percent in its worst loss since 1940 as the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to pound global markets.

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) has shed 30% since the high recorded on 20 February, falling deeper into bear territory on Thursday when it dropped 1,700 points.

A further thought, the implications of which I do not know how to begin researching, is what the answers might be to question (1), above:

Back in the late 20th Century, the Bush (for which, read 'Cabal') presidency invaded Panama - a military invasion ostensibly to help bring an end to the use of Panama as a drug transit and money laundering hub. On March 16, the Macron government orders a partial lockdown. There’s not a peep about chloroquine. Police initially are not required to wear masks; most have been stolen anyway, and there are not enough masks even for health workers. In 2011 France had nearly 1.5 billion masks: 800 million surgical masks and 600 million masks for health professionals generally.

But then, over the years, the strategic stocks were not renewed, to please the EU and to apply the Maastricht criteria, which limited membership in the Growth and Stability Pact to countries whose budget deficits did not exceed 3% of GDP. One of those in charge at the time was Jerome Salomon, now a scientific counselor to the Macron government.

On March 17, Agnes Buzyn says she has learned the spread of Covid-19 will be a major tsunami, for which the French health system has no solution. She also says it had been her understanding that the Paris mayoral election “would not take place” and that it was, ultimately, “a masquerade.”

Who is Dr. Theresa Tam?

The official line is that she is the "Chief Public Health Officer" of Canada. With this position, she has become, in effect, the Canadian official behind the government's COVID-19 containment strategy. But who is Theresa Tam, really? How did she acquire such a powerful position, with the ability to close down a whole nation based on such inconsequential statistics of 3-4% cases, which even the 2018 flu virus, with double the cases, wasn’t able to do?

Teresa Tam Locks Down Canada

Tam appears daily in the living room of Canadians reporting on the state of the virus on various television stations with her government colleagues, Minister of Health Patty Hajdu and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, telling Canadians to "practice physical distancing" to "fight" this "pandemic."

Initially, Tam questioned the public health risks of the virus:

Right now, the cases are in China. Very few are exported. Yes, there’s human-to-human transmission, but those are generally for close contacts...for the general public...the risk is low in Canada.

But all this changed by late March, and Tam told Canadians in her April 3 television update:

There are now 11, 747 cases of COVID-19, including 152 deaths. Again this represents infections from previous exposures, and not what is happening right now. So our urge is that even if you’re not hearing about cases in your community, it doesn’t mean that there is no risk of exposure, and we must all consider that anyone could be infected and keep our two meter distance as the safest approach. Her message now is that anyone, and everyone, could be infected. This was her rationale for assisting in the nation-wide emergency alert to Canadians that they “Stay Home; Restez a la Maison.”

“So, of course, we owe it to everyone to not put Canadians at risk, and to do all we can to stop the spread of COVID-19 right now,” says Tam of her decision. Her prescription is to “practice social distancing, self-isolation, hand hygiene." Her recommendations have indeed evolved into simplistic symbols, the images for which bear a strong resemblance to public health information on avoiding the flu, which are presented every year for the virus which, at its most lethal, killed 8,500 people in 2018. And the country has never shut down for fear of the flu.

The only item missing on the Corona-Checklist is “Get Vaccinated.” So far.

And from this information, a lockdown of dutiful, and guilt-ridden, Canadians became the reality. Across the country, dutiful citizens closed their shops, left jobs, shuttered schools and daycare centres, and stayed home, waiting for Tam’s daily updates, to urge them to participate in the next battle tactic against their invisible enemy, who could be lurking anywhere.

And they all obliged. Tam’s draconian “Stay Home/ Restez a la Maison” ordinance could be the beginning of much stricter enforcements to come, based on her premise that “anyone could be infected,” which means that we could all be infected.

As the Chief Health Officer in Canada, Tam provides the data, the analyses, and the recommendations on health care and enforcement to the government. Prime Minister Trudeau, clearly following the advice of his Chief Public Health Officer, officially stated in March 29 during his daily update that:

There are no plans to call in Canada’s military to enforce quarantine or self-isolation measures amid COVID-19.

Trudeau continues, with a hint of what might come for those who don’t follow these regulations:

The Canadian Armed Forces are there to help when Canada is in need...Right now we have not received any specific requests and there are no plans underway to have the army intervene.

“All Canadians must act now to reduce the spread,” orders Tam in her pre-taped video, which has the air of an infomercial, appearing periodically on the CBC and CTV. And her emphatic “now” has a clear subtext that there are serious consequences for those who don’t help to “reduce the spread” of this “serious public health threat.”

Mr Trudeau is facing the third ethics investigation of his five years in office over the government's decision to award a contract worth up to $43.5m to WE Charity Canada.

The programme was designed to connect post-secondary students to paid volunteer opportunities to make up for summer job prospects that had disappeared during the pandemic.

It later emerged that Mr Trudeau's mother and brother had been paid for speaking at various WE events over the years.

Margaret Trudeau was paid C$250,000 for speaking at 28 WE events over four years, and brother Alexander was paid C$32,000 for speaking at eight between 2017-2018.

Mr Trudeau has also made regular appearances himself - including its first ever event in 2007, according to news site iPolitics - and his wife, Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau, hosted a wellness podcast for the charity.

The prime minister didn't recuse himself from discussions related to the decision to grant WE the contract. He has apologised for that.

The federal ethics watchdog has confirmed his office is looking into the matter.

Trudeau denies 'preferential treatment' in ethics scandal

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has denied playing any role in picking a charity with ties to his family to manage a major government programme.

Testifying to the House of Commons, he rejected any involvement by him or his staff in the programme that has caused a huge political controversy in Canada.

Mr Trudeau is under scrutiny for failing to recuse himself from decisions around the programme.

He is being investigated by a federal ethics watchdog for failing to do so.

On Thursday, Mr Trudeau told the finance committee in Ottawa that the decision to tap WE Charity for the student volunteerism programme was made independently by the federal public service.

He says he only learned that the charity had been recommended by the public service for the programme in early May.

WE Charity had previously paid the prime minister's mother and brother to speak at events and Mr Trudeau and his wife were involved with the organisation.

The prime minister says he knew that there would be scrutiny over the agreement because of those ties, so he asked bureaucrats to "do their due diligence" when he first learned of the plan to have them manage the programme.

He said they came back two weeks later and told him that WE Charity was the only organisation that could administer the programme.

It stands to reason that if forcing people to participate in medical experiments is unethical, then forcing vaccines on people should be as well. Considering the lack of testing and safety mechanisms, it would be hard to argue that this is not still experimental.

Beyond actual force, making it unreasonably difficult to live one’s life without being vaccinated should also imply a lack of informed consent. Would a Government put a “boot on the neck” under the guise of public safety? Well, they are already.

What will happen should this be put in a court challenge? Guess only time will tell.

Trump needs to unveil the Uranium One deal to the public ASAP and Trudeau's role in it, followed by sanctions on Canada to force the Canadian public to take action in removing that parasite.

I know it will hurt us economically but Trudeau is still leader of a sovereign nation and can't simply be arrested by the US. When TSHTF on U1 he'll use his position as PM to evade direct arrest by American authorities(it would be a major international incident should the US try to send operators into Canada to take down Trudeau and ship him south).

It's unknown if the opposition parties can combine to strip him of his powers(the NDP almost certainly wouldn't go along with it because there leader is almost as corrupt as Trudeau and would offer to support him for a price).

It is certain that Canada is key to the DS fallback and escape plan, along with New Zealand, and the DS will go underground here before fleeing elsewhere.

There are a lot of places to hide in a country the size of Canada and I'm certain that plans were put in place to "host" the upper echelons of the Deep State should they require refuge from the US in times of emergency.

Things might get messy enough in Canada to cause it to split up, most Western Canadians have no love of Trudeau but his power base in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa might refuse to remove him from office.

You got me thinking about something Anon. What if Trudeau's $8.6 million in 'renovations' being done on the cottage at Harrington Lake have more to do with 'providing shelter for escaping elites' than with upgrading the cottage. $8.6 million is a lot of money, especially since he initially was unwilling to spent the millions on renovating the official residence at Sussex Drive.

I don't have time right now to look up the Q posts regarding the Canadian PM, but I recall one early one asking the question of "why is the Canadian PM important?* Many of us thought this has to do with U1 and I have no doubt that U1 is part of this, but what if the Canadian PM is preparing their escape from the US? He did meet with Soros' son, could this perhaps be one of the reasons?

A later post from Q was in response to an Anon's question about Trudeau. The post contained reference to the Barry and Honey Sherman murders, U1 as well as something about a bunker. Again, I don't have time at the moment to find the actual post, but this may be something we should be digging on.

Trudeau is the perfect Deep State puppet because he's absolutely a moron and can be intimidated/blackmailed into doing whatever the DS wants. The only reason why Trudeau is still in power is that anyone other than Trudeau would not be that easy to control so they spend some extra effort to protect him.

The downside with having Trudeau in power is because he is really that stupid, he's brought more attention and "heat" to the PM's office than any other PM in the past 40 years with his retarded scandals.

The upgrading of the cottage instead of the Sussex Drive residence is because the official residence is heavily monitored and bugged by both sides. Most people would not have expected Trudeau to relocate to the cottage on a semi-permanent basis and it offers some "privacy" the official residence doesn't. The money spent would probably have been for better security and anti-surveillance measures and secure comms for Trudeau.

Canada’s finance minister quits amid reports of tensions with Trudeau

Bill Morneau is resigning from his position as Canada’s finance minister and a Liberal member of Parliament. Morneau, who has been in the role since 2015, says he is putting his name forward as a candidate to lead the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

He made the announcement in a press conference Monday evening, shortly after BNN Bloomberg learned the news from a source familiar with the matter. “I’ve been thinking about this for a period of time,” Morneau told reporters in Ottawa. Morneau thanked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the “life-changing” opportunity and said he’s confident the prime minister will make a “positive choice” for the next finance minister.

Trudeau took to Twitter to thank Morneau.

“Bill, you have my deepest gratitude and I want to thank you for everything you have done to improve the quality of life of Canadians. I know you will continue making great contributions to our country in the years to come,” he wrote. Earlier Monday, BNN Bloomberg reported Trudeau and Morneau were holding a face-to-face meeting. A senior government source, who was not authorized to speak on the record, told BNN Bloomberg the nature of the meeting was to discuss their working relationship.

Bloomberg News reported last week that Mark Carney, a former Bank of Canada and Bank of England governor, has been serving as an informal advisor to Trudeau on the economic recovery. Following this report, Trudeau declared “full confidence” in the finance minister.

For several weeks, opposition parties have been calling for Morneau’s resignation over allegations that he had a conflict of interest in the WE Charity affair. In his remarks Monday evening, Morneau said Trudeau did not ask him to resign. He also suggested the recent leaks and speculation about his relationship with the prime minister were par for the course as finance minister.

“I will look forward to watching politics from the outside,” he said.

When it comes down to it, the WE Charity scandal is essentially a ‘which came first’ problem. Only, instead of a chicken and an egg, we have a program and a delivery partner. Was the Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) a proper thing in search of a delivery partner or was it a notion rounded into shape by one delivery partner to the exclusion of all others, a delivery partner with some serious financial ties to the finance minister and the family of the Prime Minister?

The evidence presented to the Finance Committee looking into the cancelled WE deal offers evidence in support of both chicken and egg. Federal bureaucrats and members of the government testified that other organizations were considered to deliver the CSSG. But recently released lobbying records demonstrate that only WE Charity was busy repeatedly ‘interacting’ with the federal government over the period when the CSSG was fleshed out and brought into existence.

The story of the ill-fated volunteer grant begins as very few things do in Ottawa: on a Sunday work call between the Prime Minister and his then finance minister. The two men were finalizing the details of the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS), to be announced the following day by Justin Trudeau, according to testimony at the House finance committee by Trudeau’s chief of staff, Katie Telford. At the end of the call Bill Morneau mentioned some areas where he thought the government response to COVID-19 was still falling short. One of those areas was students. The Prime Minister agreed and tasked his minister with working up some policy options.

The next day the minister’s office and department swung into action. As Trudeau delivered his morning press conference announcing the CEWS, Michelle Kovacevic, an associate deputy minister at Finance, heard Trudeau promise more action for students. Kovacevic immediately reached out to counterparts at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) to “hear about options” to do more for students. She also rang up the Minister’s office to see if they were privy to more detail.

For its part, the minister’s political office was busy hitting the phones, chatting with 12 organizations for “input” in their quest to work up options. One of those organizations was WE Charity. A summary of these conversations titled ‘What We Heard’ was prepared and shared with Kovacevic and other officials on April 9. At this time, the CSSG wasn’t yet a twinkle in anyone’s eye.

As the minions at Finance were busy answering Morneau’s call, the braintrust at WE Charity were suffering a torrid time. The chair of the charity’s board of directors, Michelle Douglas, had resigned on March 27 following a dispute with WE’s founders, Craig and Marc Kielburger, over matters of financial transparency. Hundreds of WE employees were being laid off due to the economic effects of the pandemic. A proud and popular charity was taking a massive hit, a fact that wasn’t being shared with those calling on behalf of the government.

Instead, the WE team were busy flogging a youth social entrepreneurship proposal to Mary Ng, Trudeau’s small business minister. Craig Kielburger mentioned the proposal to Ng on an introductory April 7 call, the same day Morneau’s office was on the phone to Sofia Marquez at WE getting her input on possible federal programming. Kielburger would eventually send the proposal through to Ng on April 9, before also shipping it to the offices of Morneau, Trudeau, and Bardish Chagger, the Minister for Diversity, Inclusion, and Youth. If billions of dollars was hemorrhaging out of government, often daily, it was worth WE taking a shot. WE followed up its proposal with Morneau’s office via Amit Singh, a Morneau policy advisor, on April 10.

CSIS withholds information on Wet'suwet'en demonstrations citing national security threat exemption

Professor says CSIS sees Indigenous movements as challenging Canadian sovereignty

Canada's spy agency has refused to release internal records on Indigenous-led actions in support of Wet'suwet'en hereditary chiefs by using an exemption under the access to information law normally reserved for information related to gathering intelligence to detect or suppress terrorism.

The use of the exemption by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service suggests the spy agency viewed Indigenous road and rail blockades and demonstrations as threats to Canada's sovereignty, said Jeffrey Monaghan, an associate professor of criminology at Carleton University in Ottawa.
