A Catholic priest in Indiana has been suspended from his public ministry, after he called Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters “maggots and parasites".

Reverend Theodore Rothrock, assigned to St Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana, was suspended on Wednesday, after he disparaged BLM protesters in a bulletin published on Sunday, according to Huffpost.

In his article titled The lady (doth) protest too much, methinks, Mr Rothrock called BLM protesters “serpents”, whose “poison is more toxic than any pandemic we have endured”.

A misleading clip from President Trump’s 4th of July speech has been circulating on social media like wildfire. The clip has been altered to appear as though President Trump said Desert Storm took place in Vietnam. The longer clip gives context to what he is describing, but the fake news reporters cut the clip to make it appear as though the president made an error. He didn’t. Mena Uncovered: Judicial Watch Discloses Secret CIA Report

Judicial Watch recently obtained new documents related to mysterious Mena Airfield in Arkansas. They shed more light on what happened at Mena and what then-Governor Bill Clinton knew about it.

Responding to Freedom of Information pressure from Judicial Watch, the CIA released a highly redacted version of the full Mena Report. You can read the secret report obtained by Judicial Watch here.

The big takeaway: Bill Clinton almost certainly knew more about Mena than he suggested in 1994. Clinton said that federal authorities “didn’t tell me anything about it.” That turns out to be a clever dodge. The report notes that “certain Arkansas state and local officials were informed” about CIA activities at Mena. That’s new.

For the first time, we learn that an unnamed official “personally briefed the supervisor of the Arkansas State Police district” for Mena, “the Mayor of Mena,” “the Mena Chief of Police or the county sheriff, and the person responsible for operating Mena Intermountain Airport” about the joint-training exercise with the CIA.

Now, in Arkansas in the 1980s, Gov. Clinton was famously wired in to everything happening in the state. You can bet that the state police supervisor, the mayor, the police chief, the county sheriff, or the airport manager was quickly on the phone to the governor. Probably all of them were.

What did that unnamed official tell local authorities? Sorry, that’s redacted on national security grounds.

Another significant takeaway from the report: the other federal agency involved in that joint training exercise in the Arkansas woods? It was the Defense Department. That’s new, too.

The report states that the “CIA participated in a Department of Defense (DoD) training exercise.”

What exactly went on during that training exercise? Sorry, that information also is redacted on national security grounds.

In fact, practically the entire seven pages of the CIA report describing the joint Defense Department exercise is redacted.

What were those “routine aviation-related services at Mena” conducted on CIA equipment? Sorry, redacted on national security grounds—all four pages.

The report also considers whether the international drug smuggler Barry Seal was involved with the CIA. Seal is the locus for many of the elaborate conspiracy theories surrounding Mena, including that arms were shipped south by U.S. authorities to the Contras opposed to the Nicaraguan Sandinista regime and cocaine came back on the return trips. There’s no doubt Seal was a drug runner mixed up with arms smuggling. In 1986, Colombian hitmen killed him in Baton Rouge. Months later, a C-123 aircraft he had owned was shot down over Nicaragua with a load of arms destined for the Contras.

The CIA denied a Seal connection, saying he “was never employed by the CIA in any capacity.” They pin Seal’s government connections on the DEA, a charge supported by a lot of evidence.

As for the Seal’s Mena-related activities? The next 28 pages of the CIA report are blank—redacted on national security grounds.

Despite extensive redactions, aficionados of mysterious Mena learn a few things from the CIA report. We learn that Bill Clinton likely knew a lot more than he has admitted. That plenty of Arkansas officials were aware something was going on at Mena. That the CIA participated with the Department of Defense in a secret exercise in the Arkansas woods. And that the CIA contracted for extensive aircraft maintenance work at Mena airfield.

We also learn there is a lot the government still does not want us to know. So we’ve asked the CIA to conduct an official declassification review of the Mena Report. We want the full, unredacted report. “Mena is an enduring issue,” says Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Mena Report should be declassified and released. The public deserves answers to what really went on at Mena.”

'Defund the Police' mural changed to 'Defend the Police' outside Milwaukee City Hall

The message was changed back to its original phrase Friday

A "Defund the Police" mural outside Milwaukee's City Hall was painted over by an anonymous group in an effort to show support for law enforcement but changed back to its original message Friday, according to media reports.

The mural was painted Wednesday to support the nationwide movement to divert funds from police departments toward schools and youth programs. It was later tampered with to spell out "Defend the Police," with the "D" painted blue, the first "E" covered, and the "U" changed to an "E," Urban Milwaukee reported.

Around 30 activists painted the original mural without permits or permission from the city. On Friday, Fox News affiliate WITI-TV spotted a paint job to fix the mural underway.

The change to the original phrase came after former Alderman Robert Donovan criticized the mural via social media Wednesday night.

"Fixed it for you, folks!" he wrote, accompanied by a photo showing the original phrase crossed out with a blue line.

Donovan advocated for increasing funding for the city's police department and protecting officers during his 20 years on Milwaukee's Common Council, according to Urban Milwaukee.

“People keep asking us, what does defund mean? It doesn’t mean abolish,” said Jeremy Wilbur, leader of the group that painted the "Defund the Police" mural, in a Facebook Live video.

The "Defund the Police" movement caught on following the death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody and the subsequent nationwide protests against police brutality and racial injustice.

"Let’s make this clear for them," Wilbur said. "We don’t hate cops."

FCC formally declares Huawei, ZTE ‘national security threats’

The Federal Communication Commission has declared Chinese telecom giants Huawei and ZTE “national security threats,” a move that will formally ban U.S. telecom companies from using federal funds to buy and install Huawei and ZTE equipment.

FCC chairman Ajit Pai said that the “weight of evidence” supported the decision. Federal agencies and lawmakers have long claimed that because the tech giants are subject to Chinese law, they could be obligated to “cooperate with the country’s intelligence services,” Pai said. Huawei and ZTE have repeatedly rejected these claims.

“We cannot and will not allow the Chinese Communist Party to exploit network vulnerabilities and compromise our critical communications infrastructure,” the Republican-majority FCC said in a separate statement.

The order, published by the FCC on Tuesday, said the designation takes immediate effect, but it’s not immediately clear how the designation changes the status quo.

In November of last year, the FCC announced that companies deemed a national security threat would be ineligible to receive any money from the Universal Service Fund. The $8.5 billion fund is the FCC’s main way of purchasing and subsidizing equipment and services to improve connectivity across the country

It is bad enough when you become a political rally cry for the right as a man trying to destroy our economy or instill fear into the nation. Now, Dr. Anthony Fauci is being called a mass murderer who, with the cabal of Bill and Melinda Gates, are seeking to “depopulate the Earth.” That is hardly the most deranged thing that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, 87, has uttered, but it may be the most dangerous. Farrakhan is encouraging people to refuse vaccinations, a problem that is already causing world health leaders concerns in Africa. This is viewed as the new “epicenter” for the pandemic with Africans facing a threat with the need to protect hundreds of millions of Africans. Health officials will need their cooperation but they have now heard from Farrakhan who has declared that, if they want to live, “Do not take their medication.”

In this Fourth of July remarks, Farrakhan declared that

“They’re making money now, plotting to give seven billion, five-hundred million people a vaccination. Dr. Fauci, Bill Gates and Melinda — you want to depopulate the Earth. What the hell gave you that right? Who are you to sit down with your billion to talk about who can live, and who should die?

… I say to my brothers and sisters in Africa, if they come up with a vaccine, be careful. Don’t let them vaccinate you with their history of treachery through vaccines, through medication.”

He added “That’s why your world is coming to an end quickly, because you have sentenced billions to death, but God is now sentencing you to the death that you are sentencing to others.”

This could not come at a worst time for Africa which could face a devastating loss of life from this pandemic if officials cannot get cooperation in accepting the developing vaccines.

I grew up in Chicago and watched local and national figures avoid direct confrontations with Farrakhan throughout the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s despite his hateful views. Years of enabling this virulent anti-Semite has allowed him to foster a worldwide following. Now, he is combining his signature conspiracy theories to a world pandemic in a way that could cost millions of lives. Farrakhan has flourished due to mixed signals from leaders, including appearances with him by leaders like current Minnesota Attorney General (and former Democratic National Committee leader) Keith Ellison. (After anti-Semitic comments in 2018, some of these figures did publicly criticize Farrakhan). Figures like the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson have repeatedly appeared with this race-baiting maniac. Indeed, the failure to denounce Farrakhan was previously an attack by Hillary Clinton against Barack Obama. Yet, both Bill and Hillary Clinton were criticized for appearing at a funeral with Farrakhan.

In truth, few of these leaders can be fairly criticized as supporting Farrakhan’s views and many have criticized such comments. Indeed, his support is hardly helpful for most politicians, including his statement that he likes what he sees in Donald Trump. However, he still seems to linger on the edges of our politics and still has defenders among influential figures. Most recently, CNN’s Jake Tapper was told by actor Ice Cube to “Watch your mouth Jake” after Tapper tweeted that “Farrakhan is a vile anti-LGBTQ anti-Semitic misogynist. Why is a Fox channel airing his propaganda?”

A prominent organiser of Britain’s Black Lives Matter protests believes the campaign has been ‘hijacked’ by a group of far-Left activists.

In an outspoken attack, Imarn Ayton, 29, also voiced fears that people may have donated towards a high-profile online fundraising campaign without realising that those behind it want to tear down capitalism and abolish the police.

Ms Ayton, an activist and actress, said she organised the Black Lives Matter rally in London’s Parliament Square on June 6 and a peaceful protest in Hyde Park on June 20.

She claimed that Black Lives Matter UK, the campaign group behind the fundraising campaign that has raised more than £1 million, had not been involved in organising the demonstrations.

‘A lot of people assume they were the driving force behind the protest when in actual fact they just support the protests,’ she told The Mail on Sunday.

‘The BLM movement is a separate entity to BLM UK. I have no contact with BLM UK and they have not been on the ground once.

‘The issue with BLM UK is they have not revealed themselves, they have not been transparent. They are abolitionists, they believe in the removal of prisons, smashing capitalism and abolishing the police.’

Michigan Passes Controversial Bill To Microchip Humans Voluntarily To Protect Their Privacy

The Michigan House of Representatives has passed a controversial bill to microchip humans voluntarily in the state under the guise of protecting their privacy. The Microchip Protection Act would allow Michigan employers to use microchipping of their workers with their consent. However, research has shown that RFID transponders causes cancer.

The plan to microchip humans is sponsored by Rep. Bronna Kahle under the guise of protecting the privacy of workers. The stated objective of the bill is that it will protect the privacy rights of Michigan workers and promote further growth for job providers as it relates to microchipping – a cutting-edge technology on the rise that increases workplace efficiency.

“With the way technology has increased over the years and as it continues to grow, it’s important Michigan job providers balance the interests of the company with their employees’ expectations of privacy.”

“Microchipping has been brought up in many conversations as companies across the country are exploring cost-effective ways to increase workplace efficiency. While these miniature devices are on the rise, so are the calls of workers to have their privacy protected.”

Rep. Bronna Kahle, the Republican who sponsored the bill, said in a press statement.

Radio-frequency identification tags, commonly referred to as microchips, are beginning to seep into the marketplace as new technological devices to help streamline everyday business practices. The chips, roughly the size of a grain of rice, are implanted into the hands of employees and act as a replacement for I.D. badges, timecards, usernames and passwords for security clearance, and even credit cards.

“Despite this type of technology not quite making its way into our state yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a standard business practice statewide within the next few years,” Kahle said. “We should absolutely take every step possible to get ahead of these devices.”

Under Kahle’s plan, Michigan employers would be able utilize microchipping, but could not mandate employees to have such devices implanted. Kahle said the measure strikes a good balance between protecting workers’ rights and providing businesses with flexibility to increase efficiency and further grow.

However, research has shown that RFID transponders causes cancer. Research has suggested 90 percent of Americans are uncomfortable with microchipping mostly due to studies that suggested a link between RFID transponders and cancer in lab animals.

For many open-minded Americans and Russians it has become a tradition to congratulate each other on their independence days, which are June 12 for Russia and July 4 for America.

This year we decided to note some Russian artistic works, which in the current political atmosphere might speak better than words when sending best wishes to America.

We are talking about sculptures of famous Americans located in Moscow and produced by well known Russian artist Alexander Burganov. As a side note, his sculpture of Russia’s most famous poet Alexander Pushkin is located on the campus of George Washington University, at the corner of 22nd and H streets, NW.

On the front lawn of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, one can see Burganov’s statue of American president John Quincy Adams, who also had served as the first U.S. Ambassador to Russia following the opening of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1807.

Another spectacular Burganov statue features President Abraham Lincoln and Russian Tsar Alexander II. Although the two men never met, and came from vastly different backgrounds, there are powerful similarities. In 1861 Alexander signed a manifesto that abolished serfdom in Russia, while Lincoln issued in 1862 and signed in 1863 the Emancipation Proclamation liberating slaves in America.

During the American Civil War, Russia was the only European power that supported the cause of the Union. In 1863 two Russian Navy squadrons sailed to America, which in many ways turned the tide of the war in Lincoln’s favor while sending a strong warning to the other European empires, especially France and Great Britain, who were entertaining the idea of open support for the Southern rebels. When the Russian fleet arrived in New York and several months later in San Francisco, Lincoln and all the officials in Washington said, “Thank God for the Russians.”

Burganov is also the author of the Ronald Reagan/Mikhail Gorbachev statue. These two leaders made history by ending the Cold War that threatened nuclear annihilation of both nations and the world.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tweeted out a hopeful message following the shooting death of a 7-year-old girl in the city’s Austin neighborhood.

“Tonight, a 7-year-old girl in Austin joined a list of teenagers and children whose hopes and dreams were ended by the barrel of a gun,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot wrote on Twitter. “We cannot grow numb to this. Thirteen people have been killed and 54 others wounded in shootings across Chicago so far over the Fourth of July weekend.

Nine of the weekend’s victims were minors, and two of the children died from their injuries.

If 67 people were hit by bullets, how many shots were actually fired? The gunfire on Chicago’s streets must sound to those who served like they were back in Baghdad or Mogadishu.

The girl, identified by her family as Natalie Wallace, was outside her grandmother’s home at a Fourth of July party in the city’s Austin neighborhood around 7 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and three men got out and started shooting indiscriminately, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The girl was shot in her head and pronounced dead after she was rushed to a hospital, police said, according to Chicago’s FOX 32.

A 32-year-old man shot during the same attack was in fair condition, FOX 32 reported.

I can remember when 8 people getting shot in the same incident made national headlines. But two separate incidents of mass casualties in one weekend? it’s just another night in Chicago.

A 14-year-old boy was among four people killed in a shooting that wounded four others Saturday night in Englewood on the South Side.

They were at a large gathering in the street about 11:35 p.m. in the 6100 block of South Carpenter Street when four males walked up and started shooting, according to Chicago police. The 14-year-old boy was hit in the back and pronounced dead at Comer Children’s Hospital.

Three other male victims were pronounced dead, two at the scene and one at the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. Their ages were not immediately known.

This wasn’t a drive-by shooting. It was a walk-up crime. No need to hurry up and get away. No cops to worry about.

You want to grab Lori Lightfoot by the shoulders and shake her until it registers: “Your city is bleeding to death and you’ve got to do something!”

Would it hurt some of your supporters’ feelings if you brought in the National Guard? Probably. And residents certainly won’t like it very much. Activists will scream bloody murder. Newspapers and media commentary will string you up and you will be hung in effigy.

But your city will be safer. And maybe it will save the lives of a few children.

Acting CBP commissioner on border patrol deployed to Portland amid unrest: 'Where are the local political leaders?'

'We're not walking away from our federal facilities like police departments have in some communities,' Morgan says

Acting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan asked, “Where are the local political leaders?” after violence rocked Portland, Ore., overnight, and border patrol agents were called in to assist.

“What we saw in Portland last night was criminal and we stood strong with our federal partners to resist that,” Morgan told “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday.

Police in Portland declared a riot around 11 p.m. local time Saturday as Independence Day marked the 38th consecutive day of civil unrest in the city.

Videos showed graffiti painted on downtown buildings and showed a fire burning as a crowd gathered.

Journalist Andy Ngo, writing on Twitter, claimed rioters were burning American flags “while shouting BLM and antifa slogans.”

“These are not protesters, these are criminals who got together and organized and planned and actually brought weapons, they brought shields, they brought frozen water bottles, rocks, lasers, weapons with the intent to destroy a federal building and harm law enforcement officers,” Morgan said on Sunday.

He added, “I don't care what your idealogic beliefs are, your political affiliation, violence, we should all be united, is wrong.”

He went on to say that he’s glad that President Trump “understands the importance of law and order and that it's a cornerstone of American society.”

Unrest in Portland and other cities has continued since the May 25 death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis. The death set off demands for more police accountability, including the “defund the police” calls for cities to slash police department budgets – or even eliminate police departments.

Morgan said “one of the criminals” was “trying to assault one of the CBP employees while he was being arrested” overnight.

He went on to say that according to the situation report “a pipe bomb, a fused incendiary device and machete was actually discovered during that search.”

“Think about the deadly consequences from the criminal actions,” he added.

Morgan went on to say, “It's a game to them, it's a deadly game.”

“It’s serious. This is about law and order. We must be united,” he continued. “Where are the local political leaders, standing up, saying this is unconscionable, this is wrong, and these individuals should cease and desist and be arrested? Where are they?”

Overwhelmed Southern California transferring coronavirus patients to Bay Area hospitals

Stanford and UCSF are among the hospitals treating COVID-19 patients from Imperial County along the Mexican border

The calls have been relentless. This patient needed to be flown by plane to the Bay Area for care — did he have a crew? That patient was awaiting transfer by helicopter to Santa Barbara for treatment. Could they swing it?

“Everyone’s tired because this has been going on for so long,” said Sergio Cardenas, a longtime flight nurse who now serves as Reach Air Medical Services’ program director in Imperial County, a swath of agricultural land wedged into the southeast corner of the state against Mexico and Arizona that has become the California county hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic. “We see this as a marathon, not a sprint.”

For years, the company has helped the state move patients from hospital to hospital, flying people who had suffered bad heart attacks or traumatic injuries that required more care than the county’s two hospitals could provide to places like San Diego or Palm Springs. Then COVID-19 hit. In recent weeks the company has been transferring patients overwhelmingly battling the highly infectious disease to distances farther than before — including to places such as Silicon Valley.

“COVID is a different animal,” Cardenas said.

According to the California Emergency Medical Services Authority, at least 15 people have been moved from Imperial to hospitals in the Bay Area. UCSF — which has relatively low numbers of coronavirus patients and can offer highly specialized care — said this week it had received at least three. Stanford has also accepted patients.

“As a state with a high risk of earthquakes and wildfires, this type of system enables us to respond to large-scale emergencies,” said Adrienne Green, UCSF Medical Center’s chief medical officer.

But with the number of coronavirus cases across the Golden State soaring above 237,000 and hospitals in Imperial County at capacity — and with nearby hospitals in Riverside and Los Angeles also filling quickly — the system has been tested as never before.

At least 500 patients have been transported out of Imperial County during the pandemic. One night, Cardenas said, his team mobilized five or six helicopters and three or four planes to move patients.

Before the coronavirus hit, transfers typically took three-and-a-half hours. Now, with flight nurses and flight paramedics having to put on and safely remove masks, gloves, gowns and goggles in the searing desert heat, the process can take hours longer. And at times, he’s had to tell hospitals they’ll have to wait because “we just don’t have anybody.”

Imperial has become the entryway for U.S. citizens living in Mexico seeking medical care. Around 7,000 people in the county have contracted the virus. More than 100 have died, with almost one in four people tested turning up positive.

Recently, Green said, Imperial County reached out to San Francisco’s public health department for assistance. So did Marin County, where an outbreak at San Quentin State Prison has sickened more than 1,000 inmates and sent officials scrambling to find hospital space, including by reopening a surge site at the beleaguered Seton Medical Center in Daly City. UCSF has taken at least four patients from the prison.

According to the state’s hospital data, Imperial, which has fewer than 300 beds and a couple of dozen ICU beds, was down to zero ICU beds on June 22, a figure that has since fluctuated but remained low. At the end of June, Riverside, which has roughly 385 ICU beds under normal circumstances, had filled nearly all of them. And health officials are warning that the more than 2,000 ICU beds in Los Angeles could be full in weeks.

Counties and hospitals keep track of not only how many beds they have available, but other resources like personal protective gear for health care workers and medication, like remdesivir, one of the first drugs that has shown promise to treat the virus but one that is in short supply.

“Because the number of COVID-19-positive inpatients at Stanford Health Care is still low (16 as of June 30), medication supply levels, including remdesivir, are not a concern in the decision to accept transfer patients,” Arthofer said.

“This is a new day and age, and it’s been a lot of learning for everybody,” Cardenas said. “A lot of people say take care of yourself, but even on your days off, you’re not really off because you’re trying to prepare mentally for tomorrow.”

Critics of taxpayer-funded retirement plans for members of Congress wonder why their representatives are allowed to double-dip into taxpayer-funded plans, especially when the median net worth of a U.S. member exceeds $1.1 million.

The Golden Horseshoe is a weekly designation from Just the News intended to highlight egregious examples of wasteful taxpayer spending by the government. The ward is named for the horseshoe-shaped toilet seats for military airplanes that cost the Pentagon a whopping $640 each back in the 1980s.

This Independence Day weekend, our award is going to the United States Congress for billing taxpayers millions of dollars, in perpetuity, for multiple cushy pension and savings plans for their members.

Members of Congress are eligible for 401(k)-equivalent plans, in addition to generous pension plans. Members of Congress (and other federal employees and members of the uniformed services) are eligible for the Thrift Savings Plan, which is essentially the same as an employer-backed 401(k) retirement fund, except that in this case, the “employer contribution” is actually funded by U.S. taxpayers. The Thrift Savings Plan offers a 5% match rate and competitively low administrative fees, making it widely viewed as one of the best deals around. As of 2019, more than 5.5 million Americans were Thrift Savings Plan participants.

Critics of taxpayer-funded retirement plans for members of Congress wonder why their representatives are allowed to double-dip into taxpayer funded plans, especially when the median net worth of a U.S. member exceeds $1.1 million.

Nancy Pelosi, for instance, is speaker of the House of Representatives. Accordingly, she earns the highest salary in Congress at $223,500 annually. Her net worth is also estimated at between $50 million and $72 million. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is the third-longest-serving member of the Senate, and has an estimated net worth of $22 million. Today, McConnell takes home $193,400 annually. Over the years, taxpayers have put $273,700 into the majority leader’s Thrift Savings Plan, which, if invested in an S&P 500 index fund, would be worth $1.1 million. But McConnell is also eligible for a pension plus annuities plan of $142,902 annually, should he retire.

Members of Congress are, on average, significantly wealthier than the average American and, typically, are presented with opportunities to grow their bank accounts and investment funds when they leave office. They have every right to do just that, but should American taxpayers also be footing the bill for multiple substantial retirement plans?

MP calls for a national body to take charge of future disaster response money after bushfire relief donations are stonewalled

New South Wales state MP Andrew Constance has called for a national all-encompassing body to take charge of Australia's future disaster relief efforts after bushfire ravaged communities were left without access to the half billion dollars raised in donations from charity fundraisers.

Constance has been one of the most vocal critics of what he says is a slow and sloppy response from charities in the wake of the summer's disaster, with his electorate of Bega ravaged by the fires.

"The first thing that needs to happen is that those funds need to go to those that at a local level that can make the right decisions, not be centrally based around a board room," he told 60 Minutes reporter Tom Steinfort.

"I think a national disaster relief fund, it wouldn't matter if it's a cyclone in Queensland or a flood in Victoria or a fire in New South Wales, you've got that capacity and that ability to help."

Constance says the slow response and hold-up of funds continues to be incredibly frustrating for the devastated communities – many of who are still living in caravans as they wait to rebuild their homes.

"Only half the money's gone out, and yet we've got people basically in caravans in the freezing cold, on their blocks, not getting the money they need to get by," he said.

"I think it's tough to see hundreds of caravans littered across the region as people try and rebuild their lives."

The charity response to Australia's bushfire crisis was unprecedented, with Australians and those overseas contributing more than $500 million in donations.

Latest figures show that well over $100 million-worth of that money is still being held back by charities more than six months on from the fires.

Andrew Constance told Steinfort it's simply unacceptable.

"The Red Cross and these organisations are saying, 'oh, we're holding back the money for another three years,' and 'oh, were going to do some community building,' but that's not good enough when Australians are doing it so hard right now," he said.

He has also called out the lack of communication between Australia's major charities, including the Red Cross, St Vincents De Paul and the Salvation Army.

Soros Set to Double 2016 Spending, Pouring $40 Million Into Super PAC

Liberal billionaire George Soros is on pace to double his 2016 election spending as he works to oust President Donald Trump, public records show.

Soros's big investments in the 2020 race have gone into the coffers of the Democracy PAC, a super PAC that passes money to other liberal PACs working to defeat Trump and congressional Republicans. The super PAC has received $40 million—double the $20 million Soros spent on Democratic efforts during the 2016 election cycle—from both Soros and a nonprofit in his sprawling network.

The megadonor's torrent of spending highlights the extent to which liberal donors are committed to getting Trump out of office. Many groups financially backed by Soros have launched multimillion-dollar attack ad campaigns in swing states to reach moderate voters who backed Trump in 2016. A network of liberal donors, including Soros, has pledged hundreds of millions on 2020 election efforts.

Republicans have noted that many Democratic candidates who lambast big money in politics benefit from the billionaire's cash. "While Democrats across the country sanctimoniously rail against the influence of dark money in politics, their party’s largest donors are bankrolling a massive web of liberal organizations to get them elected," one operative said. "George Soros's unprecedented spending further highlights just how dependent Democrats are on contributions from billionaires, despite their hypocritical rhetoric."

Soros has directly provided $5.5 million to his super PAC. Another $35 million came from his Fund for Policy Reform, a nonprofit in his Open Society Foundations network that reported having $750 million in the bank on its most recent tax forms. This arrangement allows Soros to keep his name from the top of lists highlighting the biggest donors to political committees while he gives tens of millions indirectly. Factoring in the money from the nonprofit, Soros's election spending eclipses that of any right-leaning donor this cycle. It also puts him on par with fellow liberal billionaire Tom Steyer, who has pumped $40 million into 2020 elections and is ranked as the largest donor this cycle.

Democracy PAC has so far pushed $25 million to other liberal PACs. Its biggest expenditures include a $7 million donation to the Senate Majority PAC, a committee tied to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.); $5 million to Priorities USA Action, the largest outside pro-Biden PAC; and $2.5 million to the left-wing Win Justice coalition. Democracy PAC has also spent big on state campaigns and passed money to another Soros PAC focused on electing far-left prosecutors.

Many of the groups that receive money from Soros are top spenders backing massive anti-Trump campaigns. Priorities USA is the biggest outside spender this cycle, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, having spent more than $28 million. Its efforts include anti-Trump advertisements focused on criticizing the president's response to the coronavirus pandemic in the swing states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

80% Of NYC Restaurants Couldn't Afford June Rent

The majority of restaurant owners around the city did not pay their entire rent in June, with 36% skipping out on it altogether, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to make it harder for eateries to survive, a new survey found according to Commercial Observer.

The nonprofit New York City Hospitality Alliance surveyed 509 restaurateurs around the city and found four out of five didn’t pay the full June rent. Of those, 90% said they paid half or less last month.

"Rent is putting enormous financial pressure on restaurants, bars and clubs after four near-fatal months of economic disaster in which many have already shuttered for good,” said Andrew Rigie, executive director of the NYC Hospitality Alliance

"Pre-pandemic, it was incredibly difficult to run a successful restaurant,” added Rigie. "These conditions, the longer that it goes on, is going to make it more and more challenging for small businesses to ever recover. The vast majority of small businesses will not be able to pay back months of missed rent."

As the report further notes, the survey also found that landlords have been unwilling to give restaurants a break: 60% of restaurant owners said their landlords refused to give them deferments during the pandemic, while only 10% were able to renegotiate their leases. In total 73% of landlords — also under economic stress — refused to waive rent payments for their restaurants, bars and clubs in June, the poll found.

"Our small businesses urgently need support on rent, so government officials, landlords and banks need to work together to find a solution. Whether it’s direct rent subsidies, deferring rent and extending payment schedules to the back end of lease agreements, and other creative ideas, we are in the midst of a rent crisis and need action now,” Rigie said adding that restaurant owners are "hanging on by a thread and they’re exhausting their personal savings in the hope of one day getting their business up and running again."

Even with the challenges and debts piling up, owners said most aren’t looking to close up shop.

“The idea of walking away right now is not something that most folks want to do,” said Karl Franz Williams, the owner of Harlem’s 67 Orange Street cocktail bar who was able to get a rent break from his landlord. “They want to figure out how to make it through. [Owning a restaurant is] not something most of us are doing just for the fun of it.”

New Explosion Rocked Turkish-Occupied Afrin. Casualties Reported

An improvised explosive device, which was planted under a SUV, exploded on July 5 morning. The explosion took place near a headquarter and jail of the Turkish-backed Hamza Division in Afrin’s city center.

Argentina is set to unveil a new debt restructuring offer that will be kept open until the end of August, President Alberto Fernandez told local radio on Sunday, as the government seeks to strike a deal despite rising tensions with creditors. “The offer will be known today and will be open until the end of August,” the center-left Peronist leader said in an interview with Radio Milenium, suggesting a current July 24 deadline for a deal would be further extended. “The proposal we are making is a huge effort, but it is the maximum effort we can make,” Fernandez added. “I hope that the creditors can understand that.”

It's got 3 holes in the cover that go all the way through to page 2.

It looks like there was a ribbon or something that maybe held something on the cover.

That's completely missing.

The stain is of unknown origin. It's probably random. It had 2 staples, which are rusted and basically gone, probably from whatever got spilled on it.

That's what the dark brown spots are.

Other than that, the words speak for themselves.

Interesting to say the least.

I just thought it was interesting, but it might be part of the story.

This is not a call to dig, just doing my part.

I'm not trying to doxx who originally had this stuff, but I'm sure I'll get more interesting stuff like this eventually.

The Masonic Bible is at least 600 pages. It's huge.

Well now it's almost over. Like flu, this latest strain of corona virus will fizzle out. When it does, there will be the most almighty anti-State backlash. When the British people eventually realize the significance of the fact that half the people who have died with (I emphasize "with") corona virus, live in care homes (and are by definition nearer to the Pearly Gates than most of us) and that most of the rest have had serious underlying health problems which have also brought those people close to their Maker (without necessarily realizing it) then the anti-State backlash will begin.

My advice to Boris is simple: Stick two fingers up to Red China and explain to the people that there are those in your own camp who don't want what's best for Britain. Above all, tell the British people that you are going to get your way, come what may, and that by the end of the year, Britain will have left the EU.

Antifa Rioters Throw Bricks, Mortars, M-80s at Police as Portland Descends Into a War Zone

Americans across the country set off fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July on Saturday night, but in Portland, Ore., antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters weaponized fireworks, aiming incendiary devices at the courthouse and the Justice Center and causing extensive damage throughout the area.

Portland Police reported that instigators began shooting off commercial-grade fireworks, aiming them at the Justice Center and the federal courthouse around 10:30 p.m. “Several of the demonstrators were observed carrying shields. The sound truck admonished the crowd warning them to discontinue firing fireworks and incendiary devices at the two buildings. The crowd members were warned if they continued the criminal acts, they would be subject to use of force or arrest. Despite several admonishments, many of the demonstrators continued their illegal acts.”

July 4 marked the city’s 38th day of unrest, Fox News reported.

The police department reported over a dozen individuals. Police claimed that most of the crowd had been dispersed by 4:30 a.m.

“The violence we have witnessed is contrary to the values of our City and the thousands who are hoping to move forward with systemic change. Our community deserves better than nightly criminal activity that destroys the value and fabric of our community,” Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell said in a statement.

Portland is a hotbed for antifa unrest, and it seems the riots won’t be ending anytime soon.

The first flight recorded, on 22nd March 2002, she would share with Epstein, Sean Koo, and one other passenger, but it’s her second trip which really stands out. On Saturday 31st August 2002, Jeffrey Epstein and Nicole Junkermann would fly from Paris Le Bourget Airport to Birmingham Airport, in the UK, alone. They would return to Paris, via the same route, on Monday 2nd September 2002.

More Epstein later, but firstly, continuing with Junkermann’s career, in 2005 she founded a private equity fund focused on media and sports investments in Asia and Europe called “United in Sports” and managed to raised €242.2 million for the venture in 2007. Her other project, Infront Sports and Media, was ultimately sold to a European private equity firm, Bridgepoint, for €600 million in 2011. In that year Nicole Junkermann had officially become one of the hottest investors in the world. Since her very first acquisitions which I’ve already referred to, Junkermann has invested in or purchased: Shanghai Really Sports, Ziggurat, Thousand-Child, Aloha, Jobbio, Emoticast, Elvie, Auctionata, Coindrum, Spoon Guru, Optiopay, Grabyo, Magnum Global Ventures, Songza, tausendkind, Revolut, Sentient Technologies, Here be Dragons, Soundtrack Your Brand, Groq, Catapult, Delivery Club, Relate IQ, DollarShaveClub, Bruhouse Brewery, Cage Warriors, Eagle Alpha, Gokixx, Rebuy.de, Travelbird, Healthtech Digital, OWKIN, Reporty Homeland Security, and Carbyne911. By middle of last week we observed of the Russian bounties to kill American troops in Afghanistan story that "at this point this non-story looks to be dead by the weekend as it's already unraveled."

Indeed by Thursday and Friday, as more Congressional leaders received closed door intelligence briefings on the allegations which originated with an anonymously sourced NY Times report claiming Trump supposedly ignored the Russian op to target Americans, the very Democrat and Republican lawmakers previously hyping it as a 'major scandal' went conspicuously silent.

Recall too that John Bolton, busy with a media blitz promoting his book, emerged to strongly suggest he had personal knowledge that Trump was briefed on the matter. The former national security adviser called the Trump denial of being briefed "remarkable". Well, look who is now appearing to sing a different tune. A week ago Bolton was all too wiling to voluntarily say Trump had "likely" been briefed and that was a big scandal. The whole story was indeed dead by the weekend:

Former national security adviser John Bolton told colleagues that he personally briefed President Donald Trump about intelligence that Russia offered Afghan militants bounties to kill American troops, U.S. officials told the Associated Press.

Bolton briefed Trump on the matter in March of 2019, according to the report, a year earlier than previously reported by The New York Times. The information was also included in at least one presidential Daily Brief, according to the AP, CNN and The Times. The AP earlier reported that it was also included in a second presidential Daily Brief earlier this year and that current national security adviser Robert O'Brien discussed the matter with Trump.

His Sunday refusal to even address the question - again after he was all too willing to speak to the issue a week ago when it was driving headlines - speaks volumes.

Now that even The Washington Post awkwardly walked back the substance of much of its reporting on the 'Russian bounties' story, Bolton has conveniently gone silent.

Another attempt to revive the Russiagate narrative bites the dust, but in record time.

China New Car Sales Crash 37% In 4th Week Of June

June does not appear to be shaping up to be the month where Chinese auto sales "bounce back". Dealing with recessionary headwinds pre-Covid, the world's largest auto market has been decimated by the effect of the pandemic and doesn't look to be leading the world to any type of meaningful recovery any time soon.

Overnight the China Passenger Car Association said that retail car sales were down 37% YOY for the 4th week of June. This also paints an ugly picture for June's new car sales number, since we reported about 3 weeks ago that the first week in June was also off to an ugly start. In that article, we noted that retail car sales fell 10% year over year - but more importantly 20% from the same period in May - in the first week of June. June's interim data comes after what looked like the beginning of a rebound for the industry in May, to the extent that we can trust the numbers coming out of Beijing. This news comes despite better than expected results in May, where sales showed a 12% increase year over year.

According to The Detroit Bureau, premium and luxury passenger car retail sales led the charge in May, rising 28% last month compared with year-ago results. Those vehicles accounted for 1.61 million of the month's 2.14 million vehicles sold.

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, or CAAM, had predicted an 11.7% jump for May, including commercial vehicle sales in its results. Predictions for June look ominous: the CPCA has said that June sales will decline in part because June 2019 was such a strong month for the industry. Meanwhile, the Chinese government is attempting to spur demand with new policies aimed at enticing buyers, according to Bloomberg, citing an unnamed automotive industry group in China.

Recall, we have recently noted that U.S. auto manufacturers are also teeing up sizeable incentives to get buyers back into showrooms. Europe is following suit, with Volkswagen starting a sales initiative to revive demand, including improved leasing and financing terms.

Outlook for the year in China remains less-than-optimistic. The CAAM predicts that sales will drop 15% to 25% for the year, depending on whether or not the country is able to further slow the spread of the virus.

Army investigators have identified the body of a soldier who vanished more than two months ago from a base in Texas, according to a lawyer for the soldiers family.

Remains found last week buried near Fort Hood belong to Spc. Vanessa Guillen and Army officials informed her family in Houston Sunday, attorney Natalie Khawam told The Associated Press.

Guillen, who had been missing since April, was killed and dismembered by a fellow soldier who took his own life last week, federal and military investigators have said.

Human remains were found Tuesday near the Leon River in Bell County, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) east of Fort Hood, during a the search for Guillen. An Army spokesman said earlier Sunday that they were still waiting for positive identification of the remains.

Army officials identified the soldier suspected in Guillen's disappearance as Aaron David Robinson. A criminal complaint released Thursday by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas also charged a civilian with helping hide the body of 20-year-old solider

Guillen's family has said through their lawyer that they believe she was sexually harassed by the military suspect and is calling for a congressional investigation.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is set to hold an outdoor rally Saturday in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, according to the president’s campaign.

The campaign rally at Portsmouth International Airport will come three weeks after an indoor rally in Tulsa, the president's first of the COVID-19 era, drew a smaller-than-expected crowd amid concerns of rising infections in the region.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said last week that Trump may more frequently opt to turn to outdoor venues to host his campaign speeches. Public health officials are cautioning against holding large gatherings as the virus continues to spread throughout much of the country, but they believe outdoor congregations are relatively less risky than indoor gatherings.

“We need to understand it’s a new world in terms of there are many people who support the president ... who are not going to another rally,” Conway said. “It’s high risk, low reward for them, because they already support him."

Trump and his campaign hyped his formal return to the campaign trail with last month’s Tulsa rally, which ultimately ended in a disappointing turnout and an outbreak of the virus among staff and Secret Service agents.

Separately, a top Trump campaign fundraiser, Kimberly Guilfoyle, tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the president's speech at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Guilfoyle, who is the girlfriend of Trump's eldest child, Donald Trump Jr., had traveled separately from the president to South Dakota but did not attend the event.

The president was narrowly defeated in 2016 in New Hampshire by Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Before the pandemic, campaign officials had pointed to the state, in addition to Minnesota and New Mexico, as a place where they saw a chance to expand the electoral map.

“Trump’s response to the COVID-19 crisis has been chaotic and woefully inadequate, resulting in thousands of Granite Staters contracting the virus and hundreds of lives lost, while causing significant damage to our state’s economy,” New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley said after the rally was announced. “Instead of helping our state safely recover, Trump is flying in for a political rally that will only further highlight the chaos he has caused.”

Trump has previously teased holding rallies in Texas, North Carolina, Florida and elsewhere. Now his campaign is taking a more cautious approach as those states and others have experienced worrisome upticks in cases and concerns that even Trump’s own supporters may not be willing to turn out in droves to his appearances. A campaign aide described the campaign's thinking on the condition of anonymity.

Trump also plans to continue making frequent official visits to battleground states, where he is expected to continue to highlight his administration’s response to the pandemic and efforts to reboot the nation’s economy. Those smaller events don’t replicate for Trump or his supporters the energy of his roaring arena rallies, but they are often paid for by taxpayers and still feature political broadsides at Democrats.

Trump held two in-person fundraisers in early June. Subsequent events have yet to be scheduled, but aides insisted there was “pent-up demand” for high-dollar events featuring the president that have been postponed due to the outbreak.

Hundreds Return to Protest Outside Armed Couple’s Home in St. Louis

Hundreds of protesters returned Friday to the home of the couple who confronted demonstrators with firearms on June 28 in St. Louis, Missouri.

“Protesters marched along the busy public boulevard called Kingshighway, which intersects with Portland Place, a private street that is the site of the Renaissance palazzo-style home of Mark McCloskey, 61, and his 63-year-old wife, Patricia,” according to Yahoo! News.

Chanting protesters on Friday stopped at the gate just outside the McCloskeys’ home for about 15 minutes. The gate that closes the private street to non-residents and extra metal barriers blocked the entrance to Portland Place, where the protesters had walked earlier in the week on their way to the mayor’s home nearby.

Inside the gate, more than a dozen men in plain clothes walked the grounds and peered out from a second-floor balcony of the couple’s home. One protester briefly straddled an iron gate as if he was going to jump over, but did not. No one threw anything and no one behind the gates showed aggression. One man on the McCloskeys’ balcony clapped along with the chanting protesters.

However, it was not immediately known if the McCloskey’s were at home when the march took place.

Friday night, photojournalism major Jennifer Sarti shared video footage of the protesters marching outside the Portland Place neighborhood:

“If we don’t get no justice, then they don’t get no peace,” the group chanted.

During a protest on June 28, the McCloskey’s used an AR-15 and pistol to defend their home when demonstrators allegedly broke through a gate near the house, according to Breitbart News.

“I was literally afraid that within seconds they would surmount the wall, and come into the house, kill us, burn the house down and everything that I had worked for and struggled for for the last 32 years,” Mark McCloskey later told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson.

“I saw it all going up in flames, and my life destroyed in an instant. And I did what I thought I had to do to protect my hearth, my home and my family,” he added.

Friday’s protest was reportedly organized by the group ExpectUs, a “grassroot organization based out of st.Louis fighting for justice,” its Twitter page read.
