New Jared Kushner Audio Tape Shows President Trump At Odds With Doctors In April

Newly released audio from Jared Kushner finds the president was at odds with top healthcare officials as early as April, near the start of a pandemic that is still growing in severity.

"Trump's now back in charge,” Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and adviser, is heard saying during an interview with Washington Post columnist Bob Woodward. “It’s not the doctors.”

The new audio recordings were obtained and transcribed by CNN on Thursday. Kushner was interviewed by Woodward in April for his tell-all book, “Rage.” At the time, Kushner said the country was moving through a “panic phase” and into what he described as a “comeback phase.”

By the time of the interview, the U.S. had recorded upwards of 40,000 deaths from complications with COVID-19. As of Wednesday, that figure stood at 225,985.

President Donald Trump himself is on record with Woodward in February acknowledging the potential danger of the deadly virus while publicly downplaying the severity of the emerging crisis.

“I wanted to, I wanted to always play it down,” the president said. “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19 on Oct. 2. After the diagnosis, the president was transported by helicopter from the White House to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a three-day stay.

With Larry Kudlow back in front of the cameras on Thursday talking up Thursday's record-breaking GDP report and promising - with a newsman's confidence - that the American economy will have made a "full recovery" by the Spring of next year.

Though he acknowledged that his take was "optimistic", he reiterated that the president doesn't want to shut down the economy again, adding that he doesn't think shutdowns are "helpful".

It's unsurprising to see the White House dispatch Kudlow to carry out a string of TV interviews: Because as the Trump Campaign pushes its message that Trump's response to the pandemic wasn't as fatally flawed as critics have claimed, Dr. Fauci is on the other end, claiming that President Trump's projections for when a vaccine might be approved are fanciful. And as the outbreak has accelerated these past few weeks (with Europe hit much harder than the US), the good doctor has been pushing his estimates for when we might expect a vaccine to be widely available further and further back.

On Wednesday evening, Dr. Fauci appeared on CNBC for an interview with Shep Smith, the latest Fox News refugee to try his luck as restarting his career, only to be hectored by the reporter who repeatedly pressed Dr. Fauci to unreservedly declare that a mandatory mask order must be passed across all of the US.

Schumer PAC Teams with Montana Liberals Disguised as Grassroots Hunting Group

Ad campaign woos gun owners

A liberal super PAC disguising itself as a grassroots hunting group partnered with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) in a new ad aimed at bolstering Montana Democrat Steve Bullock.

Montana Hunters and Anglers has spent millions to blanket state airwaves with ads implying that Bullock has the support of local sportsmen. The group typically attempts to obscure its ties to national liberals—its website says it "puts Montana first, not bigwigs back east." Its latest spot, however, is a joint venture with Schumer's Senate Majority PAC.

The ad, which started airing across the state this week, comes after the Senate Majority PAC reported spending nearly $1.5 million on media buys opposing Bullock's Republican opponent, Sen. Steve Daines.

While the spot aims to tie Daines to wealthy, out-of-state donors, Montana Hunters and Anglers is bankrolled almost exclusively by liberal interest groups and progressive megadonors.

The group has received $700,000 from Silicon Valley physician Karla Jurvetson, $150,000 from Atlanta billionaire Arthur Blank, and $50,000 from the Sixteen Thirty Fund, a liberal dark money network that allows wealthy donors to contribute anonymously to political groups. Both Jurvetson and Blank have also made maximum contributions to Bullock's campaign.

More than 92 percent of the Democrat's funds come from outside Montana, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Montana Hunters and Anglers has also worked to deflect focus away from Bullock's embrace of gun control. After Bullock received an "F" rating from the NRA, the super PAC released an ad claiming the Democrat "took on liberals in his own party" to protect gun rights.

During his failed presidential campaign, however, Bullock declared his support for a slew of gun-control measures, such as banning assault weapons, restricting magazine sizes, and implementing red-flag laws.

Philadelphia Police were ordered not to arrest looters by 1st Deputy Police Commissioner Melvin Singleton, according to a report from FOX29 News.

Keeley said the orders came from Singleton.

Rather than chasing short-term profits or narrow self-interest, companies could pursue the well-being of all people and the entire planet. This does not require a 180-degree turn: corporations don't have to stop pursuing profits for their shareholders. They only need to shift to a longer-term perspective on their organization and its mission, looking beyond the next quarter or fiscal year to the next decade and generation. Some are already doing so.

Maersk, a Danish shipping giant, for example, divested its oil and gas divisions, and is focusing on providing sustainable shipping solutions. Reacting to increasing pressure from climate activists and younger generations, BlackRock asked the CEOs of companies it invested in to more explicitly pursue environmental, social and governance goals. These decisions may hurt short-term profits for itself as shareholder, but it maximizes long-term returns in a world where people increasingly revolt against a system they perceive as unfair.

Details remain murky a year after FBI employee’s death

Last October, an investigation was launched into the death of an FBI photographer who lived in Owens Crossroads. Kathleen Miller was found dead in two feet of water during a trip with her husband, Greg Miller.

They were visiting the remote Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina.

The husband quickly became a person of interest for investigators. But it’s been a year since authorities began looking into Kathleen’s death, no arrests have been made, and members of her family have plenty of still-unanswered questions.

Last fall, Kathleen Miller, an accomplished photographer, and her husband, Greg, decided to take a trip to beautiful, isolated, Nantahala National Forest in Graham County, North Carolina.

On October 7th, a driver called 911. He said Greg Miller flagged him down on a remote road in the forest saying his wife had fallen in the creek and he could not get her out.

Kathleen Miller, a lifelong swimmer, had apparently drowned in a creek only 22 inches deep. At first, Kathleen’s death was treated as an accident.

“I didn’t receive the call until after she was already at the funeral home and by then he had made some statements, and some comments, and some things that came up that started making what was originally thought of as an accidental drowning started to become suspicious,” said Graham County Sheriff Jerry Crisp.

Sheriff Crisp says Greg Miller couldn’t get his story straight.

“He just gave two or three different versions of as to how she had drowned,” the Sheriff said.

News 19 has done some digging into Greg Miller. Court records show in 1999, he pleaded guilty to a grand larceny charge in Ontario County, New York. The judge issued a protection order in that case after prosecutors told the court Greg intimidated a female witness.

News 19 aired a story about the mysterious circumstances surrounding Kathleen Miller’s death in November of 2019. After that, Sheriff Crisp says Greg Miller went to the FBI to talk.

Last year the Department of Justice released a statement about the death of Kathleen Miller, an FBI employee, saying in part, “A loss to the DOJ family is always a shock and felt by us all.”

Earlier this month News 19 asked the FBI investigators in North Carolina about the status of the investigation.

A spokesperson for the agency told News 19 quote, “Per Department of Justice policy, we cannot release information about ongoing investigations.”

If The New York Times was willing to lie about its anonymous source for their high-profile information operation, imagine the lies they're willing to tell about all the other anonymous sources they use.

Two years after the New York Times published an op-ed from what they described as an anonymous, principled conservative “senior administration official,” it turned out to have been written by a low-level bureaucrat who later worked for tech giant Google and gave money to far-left Democrats.

Miles Taylor revealed he was the author of the highly hyped op-ed headlined “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration.” He claimed to secretly work to thwart Trump’s policy goals as the elected president of the United States.

While constitutional scholars worried about implications of such unaccountable thwarting of the will of the people, most media focused instead on identifying who “Anonymous” was. The New York Times assured readers that when it said “senior administration official,” it meant someone “in the upper echelon of an administration.”

Not A Senior Administration Official

People took seriously the New York Times’ claim that the anonymous writer was in the upper echelon of an administration. In “13 people who might be the author of The New York Times op-ed,” CNN followed the New York Times’ lead by offering the names of actual senior administration officials, such as Don McGahn, Dan Coats, Kellyanne Conway, Kirstjen Nielsen, John Kelly, Jeff Sessions, James Mattis, Nikki Haley, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump. Chris Cillizza also suggested it might be Fiona Hill or Melania Trump.

He also wrote of the Times, “They aren’t publishing an anonymous op-ed from just anyone in the Trump administration. They especially aren’t publishing one that alleges a near-coup … If some midlevel bureaucrat in the Trump administration comes to the Times — or has an intermediary reach out to the Times — asking to write a piece like this one without their name attached to it, the answer would be an immediate ‘no.'” He added:

Given all of that, it’s telling that the Times was willing to extend the cloak of anonymity to this author — especially, again, because of the stakes and the target. This is not a decision made lightly. That the decision was made to publish it should tell you that this isn’t some disgruntled mid-to-upper manager buried in the bureaucracy. This is a genuine high-ranking official. A name most people who follow politics — and maybe some who don’t — would recognize. The Times simply wouldn’t do what it did for anything short of a major figure in Trump world.

Barry Croft, who was nabbed by the FBI as part of conspiracy plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, also wanted to kill President Trump and other Democrat leaders.

"I say we hang everything currently governing us, they're all guilty!!!, Wanna hang this mf'er too," Croft said, depicting a picture of President Trump.

Other names on Croft's hit list included Obama, both Clintons, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Liberals, Muslims, as well as Trump, and all anti-Americans.

A post from June 24 expressed Croft's desire to pursue harm against numerous different political persuasions. "June 24 I'm for hanging Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians," Croft said.

Croft and the five others who were initially arrested for their plot against Gov. Whitmer are a small portion of a larger group who call themselves the "Wolverine Watchmen."

Their initial plot centered around removing the governor from office for shutting down the state on account of Covid, but, as made evident by the Facebook post, would have also included a wider range of targets.

Heavily-armed police paid a surprise visit to six men and one woman in South Wentworthville yesterday as part of a crackdown on Sydney's underworld.

Tactical police were used to help execute raids in the city's west, and detectives say it won't stop until gangs get the message.

It was a slow frog-march for one man filmed as he was arrested. For two others it required a cigarette as they were taken away.

"We're reminding them who's in charge, and it's the police force in charge of our streets on behalf of the community," Detective Superintendent Rob Critchlow said.

Ukraine’s Top Court Reduces Anti-Graft Protections

Ukraine’s Constitutional Court has dealt a blow to those fighting to end graft, ruling that officials who intentionally file false information on their asset declarations cannot be held criminally liable.

The National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Thursday called the decision political, noting that it significantly limited the powers of the country’s anti-graft infrastructure: NABU and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).

The NABU statement said the Constitutional Court “not only legitimizes the intentions of politicians and officials to hide from society illegally acquired wealth, but also protects the interests of some judges of the Constitutional Court,” some of whom may themselves be under NABU investigation.

The court’s decision means the Constitution Court’s judges cannot be asked about their wealth or the origin of that wealth, and cannot be sued over discrepancies between their declared and actual wealth.

Such a decision, according to NABU, does not hold water and it does not seem to be “reasonable or in accordance with the legal terms.”

The decision means that judges who might themselves be accused of corruption would have the final say in corruption cases rather than anti-corruption officials, according to NABU.

Therefore the court’s conclusions about “the alleged violation of the independence of judges under the current legislation on the prevention of corruption are unfounded.”

Andrii Borovyk, the executive director of Transparency International (TI) Ukraine, said, “The decision of the Constitutional Court will lead to a significant rollback in Ukraine’s anti-corruption reform. These legislative provisions were the cornerstones of the anti-corruption system, while corruption has been recognized as one of the threats to national security … thousands of officials will remain unpunished for lying in (wealth) declarations.”

The Constitutional Court’s decision may also lead to a number of critical changes, TI warned, such as threatening the visa liberalization regime and the next tranche from the International Monetary Fund, which is essential for Ukraine’s survival.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he would initiate legislation “to restore stable and most effective operation of the e-declaration system and unavoidable punishment for deliberate violation of these rules,” but the court responded to that too, saying that “any influence on a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine shall be prohibited.”

A search of Justice Department databases reveals that Hunter Biden failed to register as a foreign agent while promoting the interests of foreign business partners in Washington, including brokering meetings with his father and other government officials, and RealClear Investigations has learned that at least one Senate committee is investigating whether Joe Biden’s son violated federal laws requiring disclosure of such foreign contacts.

The Obama administration did not prosecute Hunter Biden for potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, despite its much more aggressive pursuit of FARA cases relative to other administrations — including its opening of criminal investigations on no fewer than six Trump campaign advisers in 2016.

One of them, Paul Manafort, ended up in prison on charges that included failing to publicly disclose his lobbying on behalf of Ukrainian clients and partners.

Newly discovered April 2015 emails show Hunter Biden appeared to be helping a Ukrainian energy executive meet with and lobby his father, who was vice president at the time.

Hunter, who held a lucrative seat on the board of Ukrainian gas giant Burisma at the time, also sought meetings with State Department officials.

None of these contacts was publicly disclosed in government filings, according to a search of both FARA and Lobbying Disclosure Act records, which show Hunter registered as a federal lobbyist in 2001 and stopped filing disclosures in 2008.

In contrast, Hunter’s former law partner and fellow lobbyist, William Oldaker, has registered as a foreign agent under FARA. Oldaker is Joe Biden’s longtime campaign lawyer and fundraiser.

Michigan bars and restaurants must now collect names and phone numbers of customers for COVID-19 contact tracing under an extended epidemic order, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced today.

Related: Michigan extends epidemic order, imposes restrictions on indoor gathering sizes

Health officials said these are requirements and the businesses must operate under the rules to protect public health.

The new provision was just one of the extensions of the epidemic order from the MDHHS aimed at helping contain the spread of the virus. Other extensions to the order include no more than 50 people at indoor gatherings without fixed seating, and no more than six people at seated tables at bars, restaurants, and indoor non-residential gatherings.

The announcement from the MDHHS comes as Michigan continues to see a rise in cases and hospitalizations due to COVID-19.

The state says there are currently 12 outbreaks in Michigan associated with bars or restaurants with currently active clusters up to 12 cases. Michigan presently has 172 cases per million people and positivity of tests has increased from about 2% to 5.5%, and both indicators have been increasing for over four weeks.

On paper, Christopher Wray appears to be an excellent choice to serve as the next FBI director. He has "impeccable" academic credentials (Yale law school) and has had a decades-long distinguished career as a federal prosecutor and high-level official in the Department of Justice. As the criminal defense lawyer for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie during the “Bridgegate” investigation, he did raise some eyebrows when it was learned that one of Christie’s “missing” cellphones mysteriously ended up in Wray’s possession, but this is unlikely to derail Wray’s confirmation.

The most troubling issue that Wray may face is the fact that his law firm — King & Spalding — represents Rosneft and Gazprom, two of Russia’s largest state-controlled oil companies.

Rosneft was prominently mentioned in the now infamous 35-page dossier prepared by former British MI6 agent Christopher Steele. The dossier claims that the CEO of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, offered candidate Donald Trump, through Trump’s campaign advisor Carter Page, a 19% stake in the company in exchange for lifting U.S. sanctions on Russia. An operational test launch of an Air Force Global Strike Command unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base Thursday, Oct. 29, at 12:27 a.m. Pacific Time.

All test launches validate and verify the effectiveness, readiness and accuracy of the weapon system as they are conducted to test the entire intercontinental ballistic missile system, according to Air Force Global Strike Command.

Mr. Ron Cortopassi, 30th Space Wing executive director, was the launch decision authority.

“The ICBM test launch program demonstrates our Nation’s nuclear deterrence forces are safe, secure, effective and ready to defend the United States, and Vandenberg plays an integral part in providing the capabilities necessary to meet those test objectives,” said Cortopassi. “Even in times of global pandemic, our Airmen are able to provide the range support required to safely test an ICBM launch.”

My Resignation From The Intercept

The same trends of repression, censorship and ideological homogeneity plaguing the national press generally have engulfed the media outlet I co-founded, culminating in censorship of my own articles.

Today I sent my intention to resign from The Intercept, the news outlet I co-founded in 2013 with Jeremy Scahill and Laura Poitras, as well as from its parent company First Look Media.

The final, precipitating cause is that The Intercept’s editors, in violation of my contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article I wrote this week, refusing to publish it unless I remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.

The censored article, based on recently revealed emails and witness testimony, raised critical questions about Biden’s conduct. Not content to simply prevent publication of this article at the media outlet I co-founded, these Intercept editors also demanded that I refrain from exercising a separate contractual right to publish this article with any other publication.

I had no objection to their disagreement with my views of what this Biden evidence shows: as a last-ditch attempt to avoid being censored, I encouraged them to air their disagreements with me by writing their own articles that critique my perspectives and letting readers decide who is right, the way any confident and healthy media outlet would. But modern media outlets do not air dissent; they quash it. So censorship of my article, rather than engagement with it, was the path these Biden-supporting editors chose.

The censored article will be published on this page shortly (it is now published here). My letter of intent to resign, which I sent this morning to First Look Media’s President Michael Bloom, is published below.

As of now, I will be publishing my journalism here on Substack, where numerous other journalists, including my good friend, the great intrepid reporter Matt Taibbi, have come in order to practice journalism free of the increasingly repressive climate that is engulfing national mainstream media outlets across the country.

This was not an easy choice: I am voluntarily sacrificing the support of a large institution and guaranteed salary in exchange for nothing other than a belief that there are enough people who believe in the virtues of independent journalism and the need for free discourse who will be willing to support my work by subscribing.

The Biden Family wants America to believe that they are the typical hard working American family, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Joe Biden said his son Hunter had done “nothing but good things his whole life” per the Daily Mail in a report on Valentine’s day earlier this year:

Joe Biden on Thursday defended his son, Hunter Biden, saying he was a ‘good’ guy who ‘has done nothing but good things his whole life’ even after he was made to pay child support to a stripper he impregnated out of wedlock.

Last month, Hunter Biden agreed to pay child support to an Arkansas woman, Lunden Roberts, who was a stripper at a Washington, DC, club that he frequented.

Additional information uncovered this past week shows a different story.

On Monday it was uncovered that VP Biden and his wife colluded to suppress Hunter’s actions with a certain minor. On Tuesday we uncovered information showing how Hunter put his family at risk for Russian Blackmail after participating in seedy actions in West Hollywood with at least one Russian woman. On Wednesday we reported that Hunter took pictures exposing himself in the presence of a minor. This morning we reported that Hunter was accused of “Walking Around Naked Watching Porn Masturbating and Doing Drugs” in front of a minor.

This all is on top of accusations of Hunter being involved in the Vice President’s pay-for-lay scandal around the world while the VP was in office. No Hunter does not appear to be all the VP claimed he was.

Today we completely destroy any idea that the Biden family and Hunter Biden are All American heroes.

Hunter Biden not only was involved in depraved activities, he filmed them and took pictures of these events too and today we have evidence that he published and promoted these activities at the porn website PornHub.

Below you can see an image from Hunter’s profile at Pornhub. Hunter established the user account RHEast where he called himself ‘Harper’.

We know this is Hunter’s account and one of the reasons is because of the screen shot below where one of his browser pages open is “Joe Biden Smiling”.

But we also are able to confirm this account with Hunter because the pictures and videos in the account are also on the Hunter Biden laptop that was recently uncovered. There are pictures of two women on top of Hunter on PornHub and these same pictures were located on his laptop.

One of the women in the picture with the two girls on Hunter’s PornHub account can also be traced back to a woman in a pool at a Hollywood location.

We’ve also tied another picture on his home page with another picture on his laptop. This account is not made up. It is Hunter’s account:

A shocking piece of information in this squalid story is found on Hunter’s site. The picture of the woman’s behind on his PornHub home page is that of a family member! Hunter also includes pictures of that same woman within his account.

Why would the Biden family use Hunter as their bag man in their pay-to-play scheme? Hunter was an animal and a mess. He admittedly did drugs. He was with seedy people in seedy places yet the family did all they could to cover it all up.

This tells you all you need to know about Joe Biden’s judgement. Joe Biden should never come close to the White House ever again.

I've been racking my brain, trying to figure out why Joe Biden's handlers would allow Joe to be seen with Natalie today. It didn't make sense. Former George Mason Prof. Says Americans Should ‘Topple’ Govt if Trump Wins

A former adjunct professor at George Mason University ignited a backlash on Twitter this week when he argued that Americans need to “actively topple” the government if Donald Trump wins November’s presidential election.

Former George Mason University instructor and academic David A. Walsh came under fire this week for a series of tweets in which he called on Americans to take down the government if President Trump wins reelection next week.

“Here’s the thing: if the worst-case scenario happens next week, Americans don’t need to just “protest.” They need to actively try to topple the government,” Walsh wrote in a tweet.

“Also worth noting that the military has already made it clear that in such a scenario, they’re not going to back Trump,” Walsh added.

Walsh’s faculty profile page is no longer active on George Mason’s website. In a cached version of Walsh’s faculty profile from October 10, he is listed as an adjunct faculty member. His faculty profile claims that he did his dissertation on the “far right and the origins of the American conservative movement.

In a tweet, George Mason Univesity said that Walsh no longer teaches at the university. Moreover, the university wrote that they don’t agree with Walsh’s statements.

“Contrary to earlier reports, @DavidAstinWalsh does not teach for @GeorgeMasonU nor is he a Mason faculty member,” the university wrote in a tweet. “He did teach one class as a part-time instructor last year, but he is no longer an employee of the University. That said, we do not agree with his statement.”

A state trooper assigned to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s security detail got hot and heavy with one of New York’s first daughters — and was soon transferred to a post near the Canadian border, The Post has learned.

Trooper Dane Pfeiffer, 35, met Cara Kennedy-Cuomo, 25, through his job as one of her dad’s bodyguards, sources said.

They began dating about seven months ago — after she moved into the Executive Mansion in Albany due to the coronavirus pandemic — and Cuomo learned about the relationship a short time later, sources said.

Pfeiffer’s relationship with Kennedy-Cuomo mandated his removal from her dad’s protective detail due to “the protocol of dignitary protection,” according to a law enforcement source familiar with the matter.

On May 24, Pfeiffer requested a “voluntary transfer” to Troop B in northeastern New York, a state police spokesman said. Pfeiffer began his career there after graduating from the State Police Academy in 2015, records show.

“He was transferred to keep him away from the daughter because the governor didn’t like whatever they were doing,” a source familiar with the situation said.

The move failed to cool the couple’s ardor and Pfeiffer routinely returns to the Executive Mansion to pick up Kennedy-Cuomo for dates, further upsetting the governor, a source said.

WASHINGTON ― Weeks after the U.S. military was blindsided by President Donald Trump’s assertion that all U.S. troops will be out of Afghanistan by the end of the year, a top lawmaker on defense says there was no actual plan to withdraw troops by Christmas.

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Adam Smith on Thursday echoed U.S. officials who have reportedly said there were not aware of the plan and received no actual order to accelerate the gradual pullout they’ve been executing. The military will continue a gradual pullout, Smith said.

“I think the idea of bringing those numbers down as the president has done makes a lot of sense,” Smith, D-Wash., said at a Center for New American Security. “Now, there’s been sort of a plan to do that and there’s sort of been a tweet we should get out by Christmas. Well, there’s no plan to get out by Christmas, there’s just not. The White House hasn’t submitted one and the Pentagon doesn’t have one.”

The topic has featured in the presidential race between Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, who have both suggested that America’s longest war needs to end. Biden wants to pull “the vast majority” of U.S. troops out of Afghanistan while Trump’s second-term agenda would continue to reduce the U.S. military presence in Afghanistan and elsewhere. “If you’re waiting until there’s peace in Afghanistan … that’s not going to happen,” he said, adding: “We’ve been there almost 20 years now. I think it’s pretty clear that our military is not going to solve that problem.”

Echoes of 2016. Leading Gunmaker Boosts Production, Still Can’t Meet Surging Demand

One of the nation's largest gunmakers has massively ramped up production—and still can't meet unprecedented demand.

Sturm, Ruger & Company said it increased production 50 percent over last year, including a 15 percent surge in the second and third quarter of 2020 alone, according to an earnings report released Wednesday.

Even with increased production, Ruger's gun inventory remains "near historic lows" due to record demand, said CEO Christopher Killoy.

"Consumer demand showed no signs of letting up during the quarter," he said, because of "concerns about personal protection and home defense" caused by "civil unrest," activists' calls to defund the police, and "the continuing COVID-19 pandemic."

Killoy said the company began hiring at a "modest, albeit growing, rate" in June after shutting down all new hiring in March because of coronavirus concerns.

Even with the increased production and new hires, the company believes limited supply restrained its record-level sales over the last few months. The company expects demand to continue surging through the rest of the year.

The demand has already led to massive revenue increases for the company. It reported a nearly $100 million jump in sales over the first nine months of 2020 as compared to 2019. That jump added up to $399.6 million in sales over that time, nearly tripling the company's earnings per share.

Ruger is one of only two publicly traded American gun companies. Its public reports to investors provide some of the best insight into how gun companies are handling the record demand for guns and coronavirus precautions. The other publicly traded company, Smith & Wesson, has seen similar sales and production spikes over the past several months.

Industry experts expect demand for guns to rise again this fall because of both the holiday season and the presidential election, in which Democratic candidate Joe Biden has pushed for strict new gun-control measures.

A Biden Administration Would Rewrite NDS, Toss 500-Ship Navy Overboard, Lawmaker Says

A Joe Biden administration is likely to rewrite the National Defense Strategy, scuttle the plan for a 500-ship Navy and spend less on the military, the top House Democrat on defense issues said Thursday.

A push to rename military bases honoring Confederate generals and leaders would also get a boost if former Biden, the former vice president under Barack Obama, defeats President Donald Trump next Tuesday, said Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.

The progressive wing of the Democratic party is expected to argue for major cuts in defense budgets to pay for expanded domestic programs, but Smith said he's opposed to drastic reductions.

"They want to reshift priorities" away from defense spending, Smith said of the progressives.

However, major reductions in the current proposals for a defense budget in the range of $741 billion are probably off the table, Smith said in a virtual "fireside chat" hosted by the Center for a New American Security.

In the Democratic party platform he endorsed, and in previous responses to a survey conducted by the Military Officers Association of America, Biden appeared to suggest a middle way between the hawks and doves on defense spending.

"We can maintain a strong defense and protect our safety and security for less," Biden said in the MOAA survey. "The real question is not how much we invest – it's how we invest."

One of the major differences in how Biden or Trump would govern on national security concerns their approaches to implementing the current National Defense Strategy, which has the military shifting away from counterterror operations to preparing for potential conflict with Russia and China, Smith said.

"It appears they want to start two separate cold wars" with Russia and China, Smith said of Trump and the Republicans who support him. "I think that is an extraordinarily dangerous approach. I do not support that."

Military and administration rhetoric regarding China is only getting stronger. On Wednesday, Navy Secretary Kenneth Braithwaite said China posed a threat "beyond any comparison" to the American way of life. While traveling this week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also made headlines when he put the Chinese Communist Party on blast, saying the nation's government was no friend to democracy.

Florida Man Facing Over 80 Counts Of Child Molestation Found Dead In Jail

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — On the morning of October 26th, 2020 jail staff discovered James Palmucci dead within his cell.

James Palmucci originally entered the Charlotte County Jail on 83 charges against children. James was cleared for a general population pod with similar classified inmates and housed alone in a cell.

Palmucci’s victims were young teenage girls who he talked to on the app Snapchat. Authorities said they found videos on his phone of him with the victims.

Per policy, corrections deputies walk the pod once every 60 minutes to ensure the safety and security of all inmates. Around 6am prior to shift change, James Palmucci was observed in his cell.

This morning, jail staff went to notify Palmucci of the mornings court appearance. It was at this time when James Palmucci was discovered deceased in his cell with fabric located around his neck. Detention members and jail medical staff performed life saving measures as Charlotte County EMS were in route.

Detectives with the Charlotte County Major Crimes Unit are conducting interviews and investigating. There had been no threat to Palmucci during his stay within the Charlotte County Jail and no one who had contact with him recalled him uttering statements eluding to self-harm.

The 8 billion dollar fine represents a sweetheart deal for the company, Purdue Pharma, and especially for the major profit participants, the owners of the company the Sackler family.

This is a sweetheart deal for Purdue given the fact they were prosecuted and convicted of doing exactly the same thing and paid a 600 million dollar fine for doing it (illegal dope dealing) in 2007.

Purdue's latest conviction imposes a series of fines which total DOJ states approximates 8 billion dollars. An immediate disavowal of this settlement and investigation of it's terms and circumstances is required given the magnitude of losses both economic and in human life and the enormity of profits retained by members of the Sackler family.

Members of the Sackler family not directly involved with Purdue's management or day-to-day operation were paid billions of dollars in profits derived from criminal enterprise - an chemical attack engineered to preferentially target unemployed, demoralized mid western white males whose livelihoods had been moved to China. This genocidal attack was seemingly executed in concert with a nation state collaborator, China, who seamlessly brought in fentanyl to the US market in massive quantities to keep up the destruction.

When USG finally moved against Purdue they stopped them only after the company had done 100s of millions in economic damage to the United States and cost 10s of thousands of American lives..

"When a federal prosecutor wrote of 56 deaths in one state, Richard Sackler wrote in an email to Purdue executives: “This is not too bad. It could have been far worse.”

Then, the complaint says, Sackler began to stigmatize the victims of OxyContin addiction.

He wrote in a confidential email: “We have to hammer on the abusers in every way possible. They are the culprits and the problem. They are reckless criminals.”

The state responded in its suit that: “Richard followed that strategy for the rest of his career: collect millions from selling addictive drugs, and blame the terrible consequences on the people who became addicted.”

As for the demoralized mid western whites targeted by the company, Richard Sackler, Purdue's CEO at the time rhapsodized at the OxyContin launch party, according to court filing says Sackler spoke of a “blizzard of prescriptions” for the potent painkiller, and he added: “The prescription blizzard will be so deep, dense, and white.”

This settlement is indeed an outrage but it's certain our information is incomplete - perhaps additional, more serious, charges are pending. These are pedovores who brazenly, knowingly, callously, murdered 10s of thousands of Americans . The dead deserve justice, and the families who loved and who lost them deserve better than "the largest settlement in history." The large fine meted out to the murderers - allows them to retain billions of dollars gained by Purdue Pharma's strategic subversion – deliberate genocide.

The Sacklers have unfortunatly been given ample opportunity to transfer and hide assets.
