I'm in two minds about that.

1. LL is not just trying to get rid of adult content, but trying to make a platform with a HEAVY focus on VR. I honestly don't think the VR audience is big enough to profit from, even if only around the level of SL's decline.

2. LL has to eventually realize #1 and either shut it down (possible, but not probable) or salvage it financially by relaxing on adult content.

While I'm pretty excited to see how Sansar goes, I don't think it'll actually be viable for the end-user for *at least* two more years, assuming they're already kicked into high gear. It's probably too early to even make guestimates.

Ayo guys

So, i've decided to make a decent male avi for my alt; thing is, i have no idea on how to even start.

Making a female avi is easy, as even without spending one 1L$ you'll find tons of gifts.

But for the dudes, i've found out it's pretty hard.

I've seen A LOT of male avis, but they look all the same (a blocky mass of muscles), so my goal was to make something more feminine.

The only male stuff that i know about are:

(1) The Raven Bell bento head: this is where i need most of you guys to help me out; the demo sucks, because there's no customization HUD, and there's barely any info about it (compared to other mesh heads).

Which shop has skins for this head? Is it good? ("good" as in, worth 1500L$ good)

Body: most of the cute guys i saw use a combination of Maitreiya + V boy chest.

This is..expensive af.

Is there any decent alternative to it?

I'll post a few pictures just to give you guys the idea of how i want my avi to be:

(and PS: i've already tried with kemono body + venus head but it looks too cartoonish and it really doesn't satisfy me)

First thing you have to remember is find a good skin. Shapes, especially faces, are massively dependent on the skin you use. If you can use the demo on the mesh head of your choice then even better. I seem to recall Catwa demos letting you do that, but not sure if you can with others.

Secondly, it will take a lot of fiddling around to get it right. If its your first time making a human shape, I'd recommend either modding an existing shape that looks good so you have a decent base to work off of, or use a picture as a guide.

Common mistakes tend to be over exaggerating features, like thighs, breasts, hips, etc. Also don't worry about looking "unique" too much either. Another common trap I see some noobish people fall into is they try to avoid things they see a lot of, and in turn wind up making their avs look ugly in order to be "different".

Unfortunately I can't get into SL at the moment, otherwise I'd try to give you some suggestions for sliders and such.

Oh and lastly, whatever head you buy, make sure its bento enabled and it has the facial poses you want. There are a few huds out there for facial poses, but most are made with catwa in mind as well.
