I can't believe I'm defending Gorshit but if you can't adapt your self insert when asked you have no business visiting RP sims.

The meter itself needs some SERIOUS modern updates, but otherwise isn't the worst meter out there. That'd be CCS

The biggest problem with Gor is the theme itself. Having TRIED (a few times) to RP in some Gor sims in the past, I simply cannot fathom what is so fun or interesting about the lore and theme. Basically it's watered-down pre-medieval fantasy with a sci-fi element tossed in there somewhere but with NONE of the interesting bits from fantasy or sci fi. Either be a meathead warrior or a sex slave. These are literally your options. There's little to no in-between or alternatives. It ALWAYS comes down to being a meathead warrior or a sex slave. ALWAYS. That's not fun.

Given what I've already said in the first comment about the meter, and then how bad the lore/theme of Gor is, I find the Gorean Meter to be wasted potential. Personally I feel as though it should have started and maintained itself as a generic fantasy meter that allows people to move around various fantasy sims with the same meter, thereby streamlining it far more than it currently is AND allowing other fantasy sims to NOT have to make their own meters. Just my opinion.

If you go to a sim as an anime/furfag/pony/whatever-gay-ass-thing-that-isn't-human in a sim that states "Human or GTFO", either use a human avatar you dumb fuck or GTFO you gay nigger. Speaking of which, I laughed my fucking ass of when a furfag went to Mhirdrun and tried to make a furfag creature and claim it was DnD approved. An admin pointed out to this dipshit that the creature picked isn't on the list of authorized races to play AND was far too fucking cartoony to be allowed. The fufag pitched a fit about the whole thing and DEMANDED furries be allowed as furries in a DnD themed sim that doesn't allow for animal avatars. End result: The furry was banned and the staff gave the population a blank check to tell furries to fuck off without incurring any penalties from the RP staff.

Technically the lore allows for other roles, but nobody will play with you. There is only one thing that sex slaves are interested in, and it is serving their male masters. There is only one thing that warriors are interested in, and it's fucking as many slaves as possible.

I'm in two minds about that.

1. LL is not just trying to get rid of adult content, but trying to make a platform with a HEAVY focus on VR. I honestly don't think the VR audience is big enough to profit from, even if only around the level of SL's decline.

2. LL has to eventually realize #1 and either shut it down (possible, but not probable) or salvage it financially by relaxing on adult content.

While I'm pretty excited to see how Sansar goes, I don't think it'll actually be viable for the end-user for *at least* two more years, assuming they're already kicked into high gear. It's probably too early to even make guestimates.

First thing you have to remember is find a good skin. Shapes, especially faces, are massively dependent on the skin you use. If you can use the demo on the mesh head of your choice then even better. I seem to recall Catwa demos letting you do that, but not sure if you can with others.

Secondly, it will take a lot of fiddling around to get it right. If its your first time making a human shape, I'd recommend either modding an existing shape that looks good so you have a decent base to work off of, or use a picture as a guide.

Common mistakes tend to be over exaggerating features, like thighs, breasts, hips, etc. Also don't worry about looking "unique" too much either. Another common trap I see some noobish people fall into is they try to avoid things they see a lot of, and in turn wind up making their avs look ugly in order to be "different".

Unfortunately I can't get into SL at the moment, otherwise I'd try to give you some suggestions for sliders and such.

Oh and lastly, whatever head you buy, make sure its bento enabled and it has the facial poses you want. There are a few huds out there for facial poses, but most are made with catwa in mind as well.
