Due to personal issues that have recently arisen, I no longer have the time nor energy to manage an imageboard. I know this is a long requested feature, but it took quite a while to develop.

Yes and no. I will no longer be in a position of power but the posting guide and methodology will be more or less the same.

Personally I feel like ptown2 is a better fit for the job as he has more experience in community management. On top of that as I've stated above I have neither have the time nor energy to continue managing the board.

So I'm starting work on a skybox, mostly to alleviate some boredom but also with the goal of getting a bit better at building in general. I've been mostly planning to build it in mesh in SketchUp.

I'm wondering though, would my overall land impact be improved by using a hollow megaprim for the box and just making the furnishing in mesh?

I'm not sure how or if sketchup does UV maps, but chances are you'll have to do them manually. How you do them is up to you. My suggesion for ease of texturing would be to project them per-wall to bounds so that they texture similar to prims.

It doesn't but there's a plugin available that automatically generates them a few different ways, I haven't played with it yet so I don't know how much control there is.

What I was wondering was, does the 8 faces thing mean that I can have 8 textures regardless of how I map them or that I can only map to 8 different areas per mesh regardless of if I use a full texture on each or a single UV map.

Materials are independent of UVs, so basically 8 textures regardless of how the UVs are. You can use this to your advantage if you don't need particularly high-res textures by setting up your UV maps and textures to share materials, but depending on the size of your structure that's going to give you pretty muddy textures.

when I had a mistress I was closer to being a litteral pet than slave. I stayed in a cat boy avatar almost all of the time and for her one big rule was in local i couldnt speak, just make cute cat noises or something in response. If she wanted to talk to me it was through im only. She always kept me on a leash, or leashed me to a post somewhere. What has been said, it really depends on what you want out of it. But here are some "rules" that you can propose and maybe go off from to think of more things:

- Always collared and leashed

- Have to walk on all fours and sit on the ground

- No talking, only noises and gestures appropriate for an animal

- No clothes, or only a specific outfit

- Beg for food and petting

- Regular "walkies"

- Training (obedience and tricks)

It always depends on your kinks and what you enjoy more. Training is usually more enjoyable with a uppity pet, going for walks is probably more for the exhibitionists etc.
