What's the closest anime to House MD?

Is there a website out there that catalogs changes between broadcast and BD versions of shows, either in terms of censorship or just general quality?

I think it would be useful to be able to look up whether, how much, and in what way a given series was changed.

Hello /rec/. I'm working on a short essay about internet culture, and now I need a image for it, with these elements:

1. Anime, preferably post-2007 moe style for immediate recognition, if there are none, older 80s, 90s and 00s are okay too.

2. Psychedelic and/or glitches art.

3. Cyberpunk, not talking about the Windows 95 aesthetics, I mean, mostly the presence of the cyberspace, like the common "grid coordinate in an alternative universe" art depiction existed since Neuromancer.

4. No dank memes, no pepe, no politicians, and no Greek and Roman statues. Well, can be

ignored if all other elements are perfectly presented in the image.

I know vaporwave perfectly fits the theme and I’ve looked through several, this image is currently the best one I’ve found. Any ideas?

I watch animu, read mango, play jap vidya and and vn:s, but I've never really listened to much weeb music apart from a few op/ed songs. Is there an infograph on something on where to start? What genres are out there? etc etc

What are some good series where protags outwit their opponents something in style GYAKKYOU BURAI KAIJI and No Game No Life

My dad is interested in getting into some anime, and I'd like to expose him to good, high quality anime with great story and production, great characters and all that.

No nudity or lewd stuff, no edgy or hyperactive stuff, no cutesie stuff or comedy or slice of life, please. My dad has an open mind but this is my one shot at exposing him to a new medium and to show him what it has to offer to him.

So far what I think would be good to show him is Akira, Grave of the Fireflies, Jin-Roh: The Wolf Bridage, Memories and Ping Pong The Animation. I considered including Angel's Egg to the list but I think that's too artsie and slow for his tastes, I'm not sure.

Is there anything else /rec/ thinks would be good to share with my dad? Thank you! I'll answer any questions about him I'm able to if it would help to receive good recommendations.

I'm looking for old manga/anime that came about before those japs started filled them with some many clitches, that it became inescapable. I want something before anime became the shit it is today.

I'll give you an example of a manga that story wise, is more like 1950s scifi novel than manga.

The Way of Ryu

Ryu having just woken up from a sleep capsule inside a space ship. To find himself the sole survivor of an expedition, the spaceship having crash landed on a grossly mutated and wholly unfamiliar Earth. Joining forces with fellow survivors from a different crash, Ryu and his comrades fight to survive on this new and deadly Earth as they search for any humans that might've made it through the mysterious apocalypse.

I am looking for some decent download/torrent sources that are decently fast. I only ask now because I actually don't know any and nyaa is down.

There was an extension I used to run in my browser to avoid the nauseating ads on Gelbooru, and I want to find it again but I can't remember the name.

It was a very minimalist interface, with a panel in the top right letting you enter search terms, tick what ratings to show, how many images to show per page, and what page to go to. It was completely unadorned, simply black text on white background. Clicking an image thumbnail took you straight to the image itself, like clicking "download image" in the default interface.

I do remember that when you made a new search or changed search page, it only affected the interface, with the address still being simply gelbooru.com and the different searches not counting in your history.

I've checked a few different sites, searching for booru-related scripts on github and the repositories linked by Tampermonkey and Greasemonkey, but I con't find anything that sounds like what I remember.

Anyone know what it might be?

Where can i find more Vocaloid style music, except with female moans instead of audio voice notes. Most denpa doesn't have this.

What are some other great 4:3 anime besides cowboy Bebop and Yu Yu?

Which ones are the best? Looking for something lightweight that can open archive files and folders with images in them. Having something like a bookshelf to manage/view my collection is nice but unnecessary.

After listening to "only my railgun" from a anisong radio I noticed I missed a lot by not following anime during the 00's.

Could you guys rec me some must watch anime from this era? Preferably mid 00s - early 10s.
