Since the decade is nearly over, I figured it would be a good time to catch up on some of the classics that I missed out on that aired over the course of the decade this year. Unfortunately most of the lists and charts that I found tend to only focus on series that were made up to 2013. Some things I mentioned only because you should have seen or tried watching them so you're aware of what they're like. People talk about Another often, and it's not considered a good anime.

But as I said, it's not exhaustive, I didn't even go through all the shows I've seen because it already took 20 minutes to write the post, and I've only been actively keeping up with releases since like 2015.

I only watched the first season of lupin and it's disjointed, new story in every episode, does not have an overarching plot if i recall but mostly forgettable other than a time traveling thief that tries to kill lupin's father but lupin's ancestors' race is very questionable and is point of origin too

I would stick with the Lupin movies for their higher quality animation and art.

I am trying to track down a mecha anime I watched back sometime between 2006 and 2009. I believe it was published/distributed by Amazon and it featured both mecha and to some extent large aircraft/airships, if I recall correctly. It was certainly one of the cliche organic mecha, underpowered/unexpected protagonist who is the only one who can pilot it, etc. From what I recall it was somewhat unique in that the mecha was not all that humonoid in shape. For some reason I thought it was "RahXephon," but it isn't. Any help in tracking down this series would be appreciated.

Semi-related question.

Is there a good manga reading workflow on PC?

At the end of the day my phone still has a better screen than my PC and tachiyomi makes everything simple, easy and fast, whereas on PC you have to fight manually downloading every new chapter you want or webshit interfaces. At this point it's mostly a question born out of curiosity, since tachiyomi is so good.

Reading on a replicant device with high quality free software like tachiyomi is very nice, but at the same time I can't find a good manga reader for PC. I use zathura and it's so-so and bloated. I manually download everything from mangadex and it's time consuming manual work that could be automated. I have to memorize where I'm at on everything when the computer could handle it for me.

At this point, it seems the only way to read manga is to become a phonetard.
