Hey /rec/, I watched Only Yesterday again recently and now I want to watch other anime like it.

What are some anime that are similar in genre and tone?

Haven't been on a chan in a good long while, figured this is the place to make requests.

Basically, looking for torrents of Evangelion Death & Rebirth, End of Evangelion, and Rebuild movies.

AniDex has good torrents for the original series (including the DC versions of 21 - 24), but doesn't have a good torrent for same formatted Rebuild movies, and has no torrents for Death and Rebirth or End of Eva.

Looking for recommendations on realistic fantasy/adventure mangos wherein the MC is a practical, resourceful man who more or less knows what he's doing - instead of some wimply Lvl 1 kid who's shocked about everything that happens and learning the most basic of basics as he goes.

I want to see someone who gets shit done, not someone who flails or power-ups their way to success every time. They don't have to be a fighter specifically, a survivalist or something would be entertaining too. No OP superhuman bullshit though.

Bonus points: includes a romance side-plot that actually progresses.

Guts is pretty much the main example I can think of and we all know how unsatisfying that ride is. Maybe Chilhack from Dungeon Meshi could be another example? He's kind of a side character though.

Are there any good space slice of life stories?

Maybe something about exploring the galaxy or like a small trader ship or anything that isn't about fighting aliens or an evil empire or whatever.

I want something like Dungeon Meshi and Goblin slayer. I would like it if its complete or just really far already.

I know that the MC will probably always never die but the problem with some of these is that I feel plans always go their way many times or characters tend to always stick around because of plot armor. I really like the thick of these stories how goblins need to be killed and why, why he must do what he must etc. Im not asking for where characters need must always be on the verge of death or always suffering like in Berserk or Gantz. But idk I feel like the current arc part of goblin slayer where he is fighting that leader goblin, yeah we see the deaths of newbies and what not, and we also got a little background of them and then why they were ambushed and killed which was great! but the raid on the farm, it feels like it went way too well according to plan, granted I know why and it probably should have gone according to plan because of his depth and knowledge in it, along with the amount of adventurers he has with them. But to me it was just going too good, I just liked it a bit more earlier when things went too well, I mean we didnt see any of the silver ranks even get hurt despite that guts look alike were match with that champion. Well whatever I talked to much. Any recommendations?
