I barely understand Warhammer but I'm gonna say no. There's no God King to heresy against. The planet of Thra is essentially the deity beings like the Gelfing center their religious life around. Mother Aughra was essentially created as a secondhand avatar for Thra. She was meant to keep watch over 'The Crystal' is which acts as essentially the heart of Thra. But she was enticed by a gift of an orrery by the UrSkeks. Letting her observed the universe. The urSkeks then used The Crystal to divide themselves into the urRu & the Skeksis. The Skeksis became the "guardians" of The Crystal while the urRu went into hiding. From there the Skeksis appointed themselves as rulers of Thra & all the sentient races. Using The Crystal for their purposes of eternal life by draining life from Thra itself.

https://www.ign.com/articles/2018/12/10/sonic-the-hedgehog-movie-first-look-check-out-the-exclusive-official-poster

>The poster shows a couple of key updates to Sonic, and we had the opportunity to speak with the creative team behind the movie to find out new details about the upcoming movie. This telling of Sonic's story sees him as a bit of a fish -- or hedgehog – out of water. Sonic, voiced by Ben Schwartz, finds himself in our present-day world, wherein he develops a relationship with James Marsden's Tom Wachowski and also finds himself at odds with Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnik. As expected, mayhem ensues.

They do, and they even have cases like Zombie Land Saga where the Saga prefecture was chosen as the setting so they could co-produce the show with the local government, which was apparently at the time looking to promote itself through anime. Tourism anime show you the specific locations and characteristics of the places they're about, but these ads are just fever dream Ghibli pastiche and tell you nothing about Oregon, and use Japanese concepts to portray an American region. The creators were so focused on huffing their own homage farts they forgot what they were supposed to be doing. The project page brags about social media engagement which doesn't necessarily translate into anything meaningful, while the wiki for Zombie Land Saga has specific examples of the concrete impact the show had on the prefecture. Yeah these are just two short ads and not TV series, but they're made out to be some ingenious marketing coup that show you how amazing Oregon is, which they don't do at all.

But here's a 30 second ad for Canada:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a822uufNGlw

It just shows you locations and activities without making it seem like you have to be on several hallucinogenics and sleep deprived to experience the place like the ad portrays it.

Which is why the corporation itself is the true evil. The people behind it are just cogs in a machine built purely to make money. You can't expect a man to not feed his family or care for his own, so telling them to "stop this money making" is a failure on the system's part. Then there's the distribution of wealth issue, such as the fact that there's an incredibly small minority of people who have investments and generally are on the boards of all these coorporations. And the more I think about it /pol/ has a lot in common with the democratic socialists. 90% of their bad guys are the same, Jews and businessmen. The only thing they disagree on is racial politics and how the wealth should be redistributed.

but yes, you get it. Everyone is motivated by basic needs. Everyone has motivation. No one is evil for evil's sake. But the stupider the person the flimsier the excuse. I like to have it on a range, with school shooters being on the bottom of the barrel end of the spectrum being "beyond retarded" and the other end of the spectrum being Hitler who was a well intentioned extremist.

https://www.vulture.com/2019/03/the-simpsons-is-pulling-the-episode-starring-michael-jackson.html

https://archive.li/wybGQ

>Simpsons executive producer James L. Brooks told The Wall Street Journal that the season 3 episode “Stark Raving Dad” will be pulled from circulation. Not only will it be removed from syndication, but the episode will be pulled from streaming services like Fox’s EverySimpsonEver and from all future DVD and Blu-Ray box sets. “The guys I work with---where we all spend our lives arguing over jokes—were of one mind on this,” Brooks said. “It feels clearly the only choice to make. Brooks said that the Simpsons higher-ups were overwhelmingly convinced by the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, calling the behavior of Jackson “monstrous.” The episode depicts Homer being committed to a mental institution and meeting a man named Leon Kompowsky who is convinced he’s really Michael Jackson. Jackson voiced the character under the pseudonym John Jay Smith. “I’m against book burning of any kind,” said Brooks, “but this is our book and we’re allowed to take out a chapter.”

Fuck me, this is one of my favorite episodes in the Golden Era.

Why are media producers so obsessed with virtue signaling? They're making a statement about an episode that aired almost 30 years ago about a case that happened about 15 years ago regarding a man that died 10 years ago. If they wanted to take a stand, they should have done it when the case was relevant. or if it was ever supported Erasing the episode is pointless considering millions of people own it on DVD, and they're now just going to encourage people who haven't seen it to pirate it.

The episode isn't offensive even if you believe he was a kiddy diddler. They're offended about Michael Jackson just being present in it at all. Hell, Warner Bros. still sells the WW2-era episodes of the Looney Tunes with Hitler and racial stereotypes. (Sure, you get a nigress telling you how bad the episodes are, but at least they weren't censored.)

>>1063269

You're overestimating this. The season 3 DVD has been available for over 15 years. Most people who would want it probably already have it. DVD sales have also dropped significantly over the years in favor of streaming, and Blu-ray to a lesser extent. You can sell an original season 3 with the MJ episode for slightly more due to it being out of print, but it's not going to be rare anytime soon.

http://archive.is/QXwGP

The channel also has given season pickups to 'Summer Camp Island' and Apple & Onion

>Cartoon Network has expanded its programming slate with two new adventure comedies while giving season pickups to two current shows.

>The cable channel has ordered Parker Simmons' Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart, described as "a high-octane ride that follows a crime-fighting samurai cat and his faithful sidekicks," and Tig 'N’ Seek, a "lighthearted mystery-filled show about a young sleuth and his feline partner" that was created by Myke Chilian.

>Meanwhile, Summer Camp Island, from Julia Pott, will also get a sophomore season, with George Gendi's buddy comedy Apple & Onion getting a full series pickup.

>All were piloted as part of the studio's global Artists Program, which aims to nurture "a new generation of creators and developing a pipeline of critically acclaimed work."

>Mao Mao will follow Sheriff Mao Mao, an explosive loner and famous hero; Badgerclops, a lovable oaf; and Adorabat, an adorable sidekick. They work together to bring justice and peace to the people of the valley. A sneak peek unlocks Monday on the CN App and On Demand, with a second June 3. Leading into the premiere, eight new episodes will become available June 28. The series will make its official debut at 6:10 p.m. July 1 on Cartoon Network, with new episodes continuing to premiere Mondays through summer. Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Titmouse.

>Tig 'N’ Seek is about eight-year-old Tiggy and his gadget-building cat, Gweeseek, as they search for the lost items of Wee Gee City. With Tiggy’s cheerful attitude and Gweeseek’s exceptional inventing capabilities, the duo humorously navigate day-to-day dilemmas at the Department of Lost and Found. Tig 'N’Seek is targeted to premiere in 2020.

>Summer Camp Island returns at noon June 23 with new episodes as the magical journey picks up to follow best friends Oscar and HedgehPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Adorabat? She's female, so more fuckable I guess. But I can't find any porn of her, just lots of cutesy art.

>Available July 1, Monthly Anthology Titles Combine All-New Stories by Top DC Writers with Classic Tales from DC’s Deep History

>Original Stories Featuring Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, Dan Jurgens and Tim Seeley

>12-Part Superman Story by Tom King and 12-Part Batman Story by Brian Michael Bendis to Follow in September

>This summer, Walmart shoppers will receive a personal invitation to discover the lore behind their favorite DC experiences as DC Entertainment announced today that a series of “giant” monthly comics will be sold exclusively in more than 3,000 participating Walmart stores around the country.

>Available for $4.99, each 100-page anthology features all-new stories written exclusively for these books by some of DC’s top creative talents, including Tom King (BATMAN, MISTER MIRACLE, HEROES IN CRISIS), Dan Jurgens (ACTION COMICS, BATMAN BEYOND), Brian Michael Bendis (SUPERMAN, ACTION COMICS, THE MAN OF STEEL), Andy Kubert (NEW CHALLENGERS) and others. Each title will also include additional story arcs drawn from fan-favorite DC eras such as the New 52, Rebirth and the New Age of DC Heroes.

Each of the four titles -- SUPERMAN GIANT, JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA GIANT, BATMAN GIANT and TEEN TITANS GIANT – will arrive in stores by July 1. Beginning in August, the Superman and Justice League of America titles will arrive in week one of each month, with the second pair, Batman and Teen Titans, arriving approximately two weeks later.

>“We are extraordinarily excited about working with Walmart to expand the reach of our books,” said DC Publisher Dan DiDio. “These new monthly books combine new and accessible stories with reprints of classic comic series. It’s a great way for new readers to get into comics and follow the characters they’ve grown to love in TV and film.”

DC ANNOUNCES YET ANOTHER IMPRINT: BLACK LABEL

With mature stories for mature readers, by acclaimed creators.

http://archive.is/odi4r

>The success of Batman: White Knight, Dark Knight III: The Master Race and Nightwing: New World Order has demonstrated a readership for more adult-suitable stories using DC Comics characters. So while DC Zoom and DC Ink offer comics aimed at a child and young adult audience I get the word that something called DC Black Label will feature comics aimed at adults using familiar DC characters.

https://www.dccomics.com/blog/2018/03/08/dc-launches-new-publishing-imprint-dc-black-label

http://archive.is/Jtt96

>DC Black Label is an imprint designed to allow “an all-star lineup of creative teams” to “craft their own personal definitive DC stories.” According to DC’s official press release, the imprint is inspired by some of the publisher’s most successful prestige titles including Batman: The Killing Joke, The New Frontier, The Dark Knight Returns, and Watchmen.

>According to DC co-publisher Jim Lee, Black Label books, much like the predecessors that inspired the imprint, will be creator led, rather than continuity driven, takes on the DC universe. He said:

<Many of our perennially best-selling, critically acclaimed books were produced when we unleashed our top talent on standalone, often out-of-continuity projects featuring our most iconic characters…creating DC Black Label doubles down on our commitment to working with all-star talent and trusting them to tell epic, moving stories that only they can tell with the highest levels of creative freedom.”

>When thinking of DC Black Label, longtime fans might turn to DC’s “Earth One” graphic novels as a point of comparison. The Earth One comics, like Black Label’s future booksPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

DC BLACK LABEL ANNOUNCES TWO NEW ALBUM-FORMAT BI-MONTHLY MINISERIES PENNED BY JEFF LEMIRE

>DC continues to add more thrilling stories to its lineup this fall with the introduction of two new miniseries---JOKER: KILLER SMILE from writer Jeff Lemire (GREEN ARROW, Gideon Falls, Essex County) and artist Andrea Sorrentino (GREEN ARROW, Gideon Falls, Old Man Logan) available October 30, followed by THE QUESTION: THE DEATHS OF VIC SAGE by Lemire and artists Denys Cowan (THE QUESTION, DETECTIVE COMICS, BLACK LIGHTNING/HONG KONG PHOOEY) and Bill Sienkiewicz (DEATHSTROKE, The New Mutants, Moon Knight) to be released November 20.

>In JOKER: KILLER SMILE Lemire and Sorrentino will share their own interpretation of one of the darkest characters of the Batman mythos---the Joker. For years, the Joker has terrorized Gotham, facing off with Batman time and time again. But now he’s found a new adversary, one that can deliver him from the purgatory of Arkham Asylum and set his madness free once more—the very doctor tasked with treating him. As he gets his hooks deeper and deeper into the mind of his prey, Joker sets off a chain reaction of mayhem that will threaten to tear down not only Gotham City but the soul of this idealistic man, and his young family, too.

>“Getting to work with my long-time collaborator Andrea Sorrentino on a Joker story is very exciting,” shares Lemire. “The Joker is an iconic character and we wanted to create something that challenges readers to look at him in a new and horrifying way.”

>Sorrentino adds, “This story has pushed me as a creator to aspire to new heights in storytelling. That little spark of madness in the Joker gives me an opportunity to play with the pacing, the layouts and the storytelling in a way that few other characters would allow.”

>JOKER: KILLER SMILE is a three-part story that will debut October 30, 2019, releasing every other month following.

Well, for one the new Joe Hill 'imprint' is a sub-imprint/line of comics under black label. DC did go too crazy with imprints, but instead they should just cull Bendis shit.

>>1067152

>The Question that isn't written by King or Bendis

>Vic Sage is The Question

>Story is set in Hub City

>It will involve proper detective work, research, and investigating

>Inspired by an old run that was not shit

It sounds decent. With some luck it will be good and steals spotlight from what Bendis' plans. That should be enough to minimize impact of Bendis' version, and maybe even push Montoya version further down the memory hole.

It also costs money, takes time, and is risky. Trying to get Image, IDW, or someone else to publish comics is much easier. Some of them might end up in one of the younger publishers. Groening just created a new comic company, and he might need some books that aren't based on Disenchantment.
