Well was rewatching original series again and some stuff seemed off,so i started questioning some stuff like

I know the original story was gwen was supposed to be love interest along girl non blood related to max,they dropped this idea since grandpa max was babysitting gwen which was neighbours child as he passed the summer with his grandson ben and sounded kinda pedo.

Yet the important part is that one.

Let's see gwen relationship with rgandpa max

>Gwen has grandpa max by the balls

>Grandpa max please her in any way she wants

>Grandpa max telling her about keeping everything secret

>Grandpa max going in a van around the country for summer instead of just one place.

>Grandpa max buying gwen expensive clothes

Gwen disappeared lot of time and was alone with grandpa.

This makes a lot of sense and indicates a story a little more dark of grandpa max grooming and having a sexual relationship with gwen (reason of why he was removed later on)

I love the series but i don't see this discussed so let's start.

My favorite cartoon is Gone with the Ghosts. The graphics are amazing, the story is great and vivid. Beautiful characters with hanfu clothing, just like the one I bought myself https://store.newhanfu.com/ . Fascinating plot about a teenage girl who, by coincidence, finds herself in the service of a powerful sorceress from the spirit world. "Gone" is undeniably a brilliant canvas, every frame of which you want to cut out and hang on the wall like a painting.

This series is 'subtly' shit. Everything is competent except for the larger narrative, character depth and morality. It's missing something, it's not really all that deep, or meaningful, the humor often comes at the direct cost of the narrative. And a lot of aspects of the plot are left loose and unexplored. Characters are not called out for their fucktarded behavior. Often ignore, write off, or forget characters.

The Dialogue and voice acting is competent, the music is competent, the animation is competent. All coming together in a presentable package. But that's it. And for some reason people give it praise.

What's the deal with this show? I mean, I've seen a couple of episodes and it's fun! It's actually pretty cool! Could it be that I watched the two good episodes by chance? Maybe, but I don't think so.

How come they never released it in English? Or Spanish, for that matter. As subs go, I'd be OK with either, but when I look at it I see a perfect show for broad distribution in America and other English-speaking countries.

What's the deal with the lack of distribution?

I wanna watch the whole thing. Are illegal methods the only methods? I'd buy a DVD set. heck, I'd even buy it in the original German. Are there DVDs in German, at least?

There are torrents, but all I can find are TV rips.

Is this ever coming out? I've heard that there's plans to release the pilot in October but nothing that confirms this.

While I don't think they can pull it off, I do hope it succeeds as a show. It's a unique idea that's not just endless crass humor with low effort animation. It's refreshing in the adult animation scene to have actual animation.
