Just finished the manga.

That was a lot of fun, i never expected it to be so wholesome and creative either, but it has some issues, from the middle till the end the plot got too convoluted and too many things were happening to too many people, quite a few deus ex machinas, some magic trivialized a lot of moments too, it's fine if a story has a thing that can "revert" something bad that happened like a character's death but Dorohedoro has too many it does create some interesting situations but still.

Also, Noi is fucking perfect.

I did.

I thought it was a pretty good ending. The story can continue but it stopped the season with some slightly heavy moments, and lots of money shots of Somalia eating. If there's a S2 I hope it progresses in a more substantial way, maybe we find out more about golems?

Weakest part of this episode (maybe the season) was golem having a laser for some dumb reason. That just didn't fit anything.

I get the golem having superpowers that are mostly dormant. I just think the golem firin ma lazer instead of just ramping up more and bludgeoning everyone was weird and inconsistent with the mood. It made the scene feel less serious than it could have been if his powers manifested with a different aesthetic imo.

with anime-tourism camping gear sales and campground profits have probably gone up even more. it's basically a tourism ad. heck I wouldn't be surprised if the stamp rally is becoming a real thing now.

a full season with a nadeshikid's rally isn't the worst setup, but it's not like they need a reason to go camping to begin with. certainly beats some forced rival drama.

GenoCyber is fucking terrible, but I love it.

It's not only nonsensical, excessively vulgar and tasteless and boring, but the actual production of the physical media is lazy as fuck as well.

The 1st OVA's credits on Manga Video's VHS release is literally a spinning jpg of the main character nude. The 2nd OVA spends 20 mins building up the next fight and ends on the first punch, saying "fuck you, buy the next tape."

Watch it or don't. I'm not your dad and I'm definitely not going to fingerblast you on-screen behind an x-ray machine.
