Very dialogue-heavy but most of it is at least good and so are the characters.

Interesting blend of premise and visuals, it may end up falling flat when they try to wrap up the season but the episodes have been good so far.

A bit fujo but some interesting ideas. Like Kokkoku from the same studio, it'll probably fall apart over the course of the season.

A very fun show with a colourful cast. Bogged down by the latest arc but will probably resume its hilarious antics soon.

Still the best sports anime and probably my favourite real-world show. This season holds up well to the previous ones despite the time gap.

Every episode was worse than the last almost, leading to a ridiculous second half of the season and some bullshit in the finale. It posits philosophical questions it does not have the skill to discuss let alone answer.

An ancient chinese "mafia" group (as much mafia as one can be called from ancient times) was known for having some "kung fu wizards" who could fuck people up without using weapons. Turns out those wizards are people withh psych powers who used to be hard to control and didn't know how to use their powers well, so all they could do was destroy another's psyche
at some point in the recent years a branch of said mafia killed the old head of the group and supposedly had exterminated all psychs
turns out the son of the dead boss survived and has been gathering new psychs to regain power
as time passed the training of these kung fu wizards improved, kid of like an arms race. They went from being only capable of invading another's mind and destroying it (called "crushing") to creating an "image" (a representation of themselves) to metaphorically enter into another person's mind, now they can alter memories and hypnotise people, our MCs are part of this new generation with older ones not having this power. As such, MCs are feared by the organization as much as they are valued
conflict between MCs stem from theim either wanting to ascend into the mafia group, wanting to ditch it or falling in between and having conflicting thoughts

ARP Backstage Pass is an bloated idol show that you can say is padded with music because the documentary style story it's trying to tell is so mundane that you wonder why anybody funded it. The only decent episode so far is 7 since it isn't about the boring backstory of the members. Just a member talking with his poorly drawn superego determining if he's sad. AR segments at the end are decent since it feels like at times they are shitting on their own anime, even though I don't think that is their intention.

I actually liked it quite a bit, and the animation actually looked good this time. I'm glad that the story is focused on Akagi/Kaga/Orochi, rather than being pulled in many different directions. Also, I see three different directions that the final episode can go in. We'll either get a bittersweet ending where Kagi/Akagi don't make it, a happy ending where they do, or a cliffhanger for either a second season or a new anime.

One thing that I wouldn't have guessed by the first few episodes is how character-driven it is. I think with paranormal anime there's a tendency to have fucky magical endings with a deus ex machina, but this has been very consistent and most of the twists and turns have been the characters interactions with each other.
Admittedly this is a dumb criticism but I think I would've viewed the whole series a little differently from the beginning if they made a couple of the characters females, it could've avoided so much homoerotic tension that distracted from things. Like is Tsukasa really going to do all of this shit so he can go have a platonic relationship with Hiroki who's most likely going to hate him by the time he's done with everything?
