So I want to get more shit on VHD. I have the movies but was wondering if it's worth checking out the books and manga.

1.The manga is a direct illustration of the books but the art could suck or be cheap and confusing. Also it ends after book 8 due to the artist being crippled.

2.The books could be garbage teen stuff because that's what most LNs are in Japan but I liked the movies so maybe I'd like a few of them too.

I'd like to just talk about VHD in general so I made a thread.

I've got this Vampire Hunter D Artbook (Sorry I don't have a better pic) from awhile ago that's really nice. I recommend picking it up if you can find it. Some of Yoshitaka Amano's stuff has been scanned and uploaded to the panda too if you want to see more of his art.

It's a shame my local book shop is so jewish with their used manga section, because they had a few of the novels and manga. Lady at the counter kept trying to pull the

The only appeal I found was talking about the episodes and stuff while the show was airing with other anons.

The excitement before, during, and after a new episode is always fun, especially when the show leaves you with questions and stuff.

Did it with Re:Zero and it was nice. Any of the threads that weren't around an episode airing sucked, but it was fun guessing what they would censor or change from the WN/LN, and then discussing the episode afterwards.
