Has anyone ever heard of this anime before this YouTube video explained what it was about? Me either and yet I found out the anime was supposed to be released back in 2015 which is fucking insane and what made this anime even more credible is that it was being made by Sunrise. The same guys who created Gundam. So it really makes you think why did this company mysteriously cancel this show behind the scenes? Such anime like these makes me sad that we could have gotten an awesome gem had it got made. Like already you could see one of the characters the Sun already be best waifu had the show been greenlighted. It's a damn shame this gem will never leave the lost media affect that many new IPs keep getting.

do anime not really get cancelled a lot? I don't know because I don't follow pvs I just watch what comes out but I'm assuming things would get cancelled just like any other medium. Sometimes its just the financing or there was bad management and what they produced wouldn't be worth finishing for their expected return

Both comics and manga suck nowadays but for opposing reasons. More people are watching anime which is good but then again it fucking sucks. The reason why is because most of the people watching it are “normies”. Let me explain. As you could tell, there has been an increase in anime “fans” during quarantine who mostly spam about My hero Academia and Haikyuu (Or just any basic ass Shōnen) but what differentiates them from the average “new anime fan” is that they are normies (mostly Kpop fans, which is obvious to tell since they act like fucking children and spam “aesthetic vibes💞✨” or spam random letters instead of fucking laughing. We all know who they are and we all hate them. Most coming from twitter (which is a fucking cesspool I know)). They have ruined our once loved reputation of anime and morphed it into something that only adults with the mentality of a 14 year old would like. The wave of “new normie fans” won’t end for the foreseeable future since it is a trend. Mind you, these were the same people who complained that anime fans were pedos a few years ago and the same people who made fun of us for watching anime as kids. It’s just weird to see the these people now pretend that they’ve been a fan for a long time only because it’s a “trend” It just makes me angry.

You might call me petty, I don’t care but I want out old community back. I want the community that I grew up with back. I’m sure some of you won’t care and some of you might agree. It would be great for me to hear your responses.

I never used 8chan tbh. I knew of it's existence, but the boards I used on 4chan were still usable for the most part so I never bothered seeking alternatives.

I still use /out/ pretty frequently. It was never really invaded, because it's not one of the boards that gets advertised all over reddit and youtube as a "super secret cool kids club."
