I personally liked A Piece of Phantasmagoria. I am almost entirely sure that this anime has hidden meanings everywhere and really want to find them (I just finished it). It's a pretty low budget show, but is made up for it by good voice acting and story telling.

I will never understand how this anime (Gakkou no Kaidan) was despised and abandoned for the most retarded reasons that can be conceived.
I will NEVER going to believe in stupid YouTube anime reviewers again, in retarded MyAnimelist reviewers and I will never listen to those motherfucker bloggers who just repeat what the aforementioned motherfuckers say.
To begin with, the story is solid and its characters are quite convincing in their way of acting. Real stories can scare you if you see them at night in complete darkness. This anime have good background music and good Opening and Ending (especially ED).
I really enjoyed this anime and it's a shame that it didn't have more episodes.
Now, there is a group of shit-eaters that only remember this anime because of the amateur dubbing that deviates completely from the script and these retards like to condemn the anime for that or praise the dubbing for autistic reasons. They are two groups with the same level of retardation.
This anime CAN ONLY BE ENJOYED by watching it in its original language and subtitled. The one who says otherwise is of the kind of shit I mentioned above.

I also prefer the GONZO series over the OVA, more so because of the lack of chibiness. It could have been even better if it weren't for the budget issues. The GONZO series resembled something out of the 80s even though it is from 2001, and that's more of a reason to like it.

Can we talk about anime you can't believe you enjoyed/are enjoying? I honestly can't believe I am honestly enjoying Hands off the Motion Pictures club. The first episode threw me off because a couple of the main characters dont look that pretty, but I was completely taken in and hooked after I watched the second episode. It's actually pretty good anime so far and it's about the creation of anime. As an anime, it is interesting because it sometimes blends their reality with their own fantasy drawings into events that actually happened. The anime also seems to focus mostly on backgrounds as well and paints a pretty nice picture overall.

I might have to come back to that one later. First few episodes weren't that interesting to me. It's cool seeing some tidbits about the animation process, but I guess I don't like the characters enough (frankly it's a guess, I can't quite say why I don't like the anime).
It's been said before that their designs are butt-ugly, which is true, but that's not the main reason for that. I've watched ugly shit before and liked it. But in this case it didn't help either.

At least that's what I heard for both Baki and Devilman. So kudos for that.

Hey, I've watched both of those rather recently.
The Outlanders manga is actually decent, it's not the greatest manga ever but it's decent. Something someone would want to read. I'm pretty sure that despite the fame of the "alien GF" genre there isn't that much material of it out there so I believe that increases its worth further. I've actually read a handful of chapters but I backlogged it after. It surprisingly has pretty good art unlike the UY manga, which Outlanders is a rip off of.
The manga more or less does its own thing after ripping off an assload of UY characteristics, but the single episode Outlanders OVA is a completely shameless chink-tier Urusei Yatsura rip off and they even use much of the same VAs as the UY anime. It's to the point the Lum VA plays Kahm.
It's terrible, but at least there's a scene where the edges of her pussy show up.
Venus Wars is one of those 80s OVAs that try to be an American action movie, and American action movies are garbage. The completely generic plot certainly doesn't help it, it's just "handful of futuristic biker punks clash with the big bad man and his army". At least the actual execution of the movie is fine, might be worth a try for someone who's starving for lightly futuristic cyberpunk.
If anything I'd rate Outlanders manga "decent", Outlanders anime "terrible", and Venus Wars "slightly below mediocre". A NEET who watches 20 anime episodes a day and has consumed hundreds of series should definitely read and watch this stuff because they either have shit taste and it doesn't matter if the series is good or not, or they do have some level of taste but they've already watched all the good stuff and it's time to lower standards out of necessity or find another hobby.
