Most of the non-erotic manga I read which I'm aware is or at least think is untranslated are short Kirara CGDCT 4-koma series and short yuri series or anthologies. Not that I go out of my way to check if something's translated. My favorite of the bunch is probably トモダチヅクリ. It's been a while since I read it, but the primary running gags revolved around the two main girls' awkwardness and the closeness of their relationship being suspect. May not be everybody's cup of tea and it certainly could have done some things differently for the better, but I guess I just really liked the characters and enjoyed the interaction between them.

Digital is fine, as long as artists are still drawing lines by hand.

I'll disagree with the digitalfag that it's automatically better. Some rough hand animation is nice and I like the grain you get when you actually take snapshots. But I have no issue with the final colors being clean (and easy to compress well).

The problem is 3DCG. It's bad in the West and it's worse in Japan. I'm incredibly depressed about the lack of traditional animation by the likes of Disney; anime is the last refuge of people drawing stuff. I'll accept digital to reduce costs and improve production speed if it means saving the industry from just being garbage 3D animation.

The shitflix adaptation is nicer than I previously thought, honestly, good blend of CG and hand drawn sections, even if Kaiman's head looks fucking unshaded and goofy at times. Just finished the manga.

That was a lot of fun, i never expected it to be so wholesome and creative either, but it has some issues, from the middle till the end the plot got too convoluted and too many things were happening to too many people, quite a few deus ex machinas, some magic trivialized a lot of moments too, it's fine if a story has a thing that can "revert" something bad that happened like a character's death but Dorohedoro has too many it does create some interesting situations but still.

Also, Noi is fucking perfect.

I thought it was a pretty good ending. The story can continue but it stopped the season with some slightly heavy moments, and lots of money shots of Somalia eating. If there's a S2 I hope it progresses in a more substantial way, maybe we find out more about golems?

Weakest part of this episode (maybe the season) was golem having a laser for some dumb reason. That just didn't fit anything.
