So I watched the movie and here are my take aways:
- Generic movie filler plot, really nothing to mention here.
- As per usual the "fujoshi pandering" is nonexistent and its just them making up shit to attribute to it.
- 0 fan service
- The Save and Win dynamic between Deku and Bakugo was made a focus in the dialogue but generally only tidbits in the actual action.
- Deku was written well as the heroic inspirational guy to the 2 kids like All Might was to him.
- One thing I was utterly surprised about is how Bakugo was still in character yet was not at all as bad as in the manga and was even fairly enjoyable.
- Deku giving his quirk to Bakugo wasn't as bad as I though narrative wise but the dialogue sounded like they were sucking off Bakugo whiles I though it would have been better like "Now you lost your dream." and the answer being "This is my dream - saving others no matter what it takes."
- They tried to make Nine a character but he was such an obvious bootleg Shigaraki that it undermined everything.
- I guess for anime onlys its a cool spoiler hype teaser but for manga readers there is practically nothing interesting to really make you go "Oh yeah I know that!"
- Literally the only thing alluding to the Meta Liberation Army arc was Shigaraki having the hand prosthetic. No characters teasers, no nothing.
- Shiggy still had the blue-ish hair instead of pure white. This really annoys my autism for some reason.
- Shiggy had like 3 lines and they were all OOC
- Everything following that was pure unadulterated bullshit. Everything that was the [climax/budget sink] became over the top and pure none-sense. I can make a bunch of points about all the shit that was stupid but there is no point.
- Cool as fuck purely on the sakuga standpoint though.
Overall better than the first movie but the climax (at least to me) is weaker than the first purely because All Might and Deku are way cooler than Deku and Bakugo as a combo. One thing that I really want to note is that the way Bakugo was written in the movie should be how he is written overall and strangely enough it served to alleviate my hate for him.

I have been watching My Hero all day and reading the manga and I just found out that Overhaul can fuse with anyone with useful quirks. So my question to you guys is should he fuse with all of them including Eri if the heroes and villains had stronger fighters? We know in the recent arc that a very *small* villain has All for One's quirk and Deku having more than one Quirk. How or why he should fuse and what would that fusion look like? I feel like his fusion would be less monster-like One Punch Man and would look like the final forms of the Dragon Ball Z villains where their final forms are less monster but more human-like. But they are still strong to a point where they might kill someone with just one kick. One kick. With him also fusing with Eri. He might become a threat to Shigaraki to a point where he could be on his level. I sadly can't draw for shit or have enough money to pay for that amazing commission idea. But I bet you guys could picture that what if cool fusion? I think it would make Overhaul look epic. But what do you guys think?

I've got to say, the My Hero Academia American fandom is full of a bunch of whiners. Especially during this recent season. Complaining about the name of a villain character because of a reference to WWII, characters sharing birthdays with WWII people, the tickling scene, a girl with big boobs in the opening, the toxic relationship between Gentle Criminal and La Brave and now probably the most petty one: one frame of the pussycats return that isn't up to standards to match the manga.
If you even watch weekly anime, you know that there are parts where they have to cost cut and save all the good animation for the really important stuff like fights for shonen anime. BNHA was at the right time and place and started off and progressed quickly before the Yakuza arc and baggage brought by the Joint Training arc. BNHA is an exploration of the individual, society and their relation to each other. Actually superpowers are hardly thematically relevant and peeling the skin off of ebin pewpew powers they represent what is unique about individual people and their variety represents differences in social class, economic class, race, inborn intelligence and physicality, interests. etc. You could say its shallow but pick a social or individualistic issue and you will most likely find a quirk that relates to that.
Aoyama is a narcissist that deep down desires to make friends and dazzle others, said narcissism makes him seem odd and pushes people away. This is represented by his quirk shining bright and being beautiful but dangerous, uncontrollable at times and hurts him most of all. This is a side character by the way.

The main cast generally sucks dick and their only shine when outside their field of hero obedience. Deku and All Might are there to show that "hero" isn't a role that has to obey those stupid rules and is supposed to act for the good of others based on the "heroic ideal" and not some arbitrary system. This might sound contradictory but my point is that the "heroes" are just government militia and Deku is there to be an example of a hero in its purest form.
Of course I'm not say everything is executed properly and Deku has hardly don't anything outside the confines of the norm since his fight with Gentle.

There's been single cases,the vast majority is just standard crime that's easy to show and fight. That's fine for what it is, but if it's as deep or "serious" as your post claims variety and complex/unpleasant situations are necessary to take out and analyze. Even something like the duties and formalities of heroes outside of being celebrities lessons would have have helped.

Its not explored in mundane encounters said kind of stuff is explored with the characters. Most villains are example of such cases. They are an extreme example and you can image many other people end up with similar circumstances but just either get captured early on or just get saved on an earlier step.

Twice makes a modicrum of sense, but he's isolated and doesn't come in until after they should all have been zerg rushed if not stomped on the ground for inferior tactics.

I get the impression it just talks about "true heroes" while focusing on power climb,explaining some quirks,trainging and "muh OfA lore".
