Good time to talk about this cult classic. The shitflix adaptation is nicer than I previously thought, honestly, good blend of CG and hand drawn sections, even if Kaiman's head looks fucking unshaded and goofy at times. That being said, the anime is far away from the manga's raunchy, homely, muddy style.

Watch it, it's another experience since it's so much visually cleaner than the manga you will enjoy locations and backgrounds like never before, the oppressive gloominess of the manga makes it hard to tell locations apart sometimes, in fact, I struggled to recognize some places and scenes in the anime because they were vibrant and "clean", as of no "ink-mud filter".

Just finished the manga.
That was a lot of fun, i never expected it to be so wholesome and creative either, but it has some issues, from the middle till the end the plot got too convoluted and too many things were happening to too many people, quite a few deus ex machinas, some magic trivialized a lot of moments too, it's fine if a story has a thing that can "revert" something bad that happened like a character's death but Dorohedoro has too many it does create some interesting situations but still.
Also, Noi is fucking perfect.
