An Entire Desert Town That Once Served as the Backdrop for ‘Airwolf’ Just Sold for $6.25 Million

On a lonely stretch of desert road smack dab between Phoenix and Los Angeles sits a tiny town (population 216!) consisting of a handful of storefronts straddling a solitary block just steps from Interstate 10. Cars still regularly pull off the freeway and into the gas station there, though the pumps haven’t been filled with petrol in years. A sign in the café window reads, “We apologize for being closed temporarily for building maintenance,” though one look through the chalky windows and it’s clear the “temporary” shuttering is anything but.

Desert Center, as it is known, has been compared to both the charming Route 66 hamlet of Radiator Springs from “Cars” and the treacherous Nevada town from “The Hills Have Eyes,” but the truth of the place lies somewhere in between.

The remote site was the brainchild of preacher Stephen Ragsdale, who fortuitously broke down in the area while traveling from his hometown of Palo Verde Valley to Los Angeles in 1915. Upon being rescued and towed to a mechanic by a local landowner, an idea was born. Figuring the region needed a decent rest stop, Ragsdale purchased the good samaritan’s acreage and, along with his wife Lydia, proceeded to build a gas station, auto repair shop and restaurant along the dusty main drag which became known as Ragsdale Rd.

Desert Center was officially founded in 1921 and just as Stephen, who took to calling himself “Desert Steve,” had envisioned, it evolved into a popular pit stop for travelers making their way between California and Arizona. The entire Ragsdale clan had a hand in the operation. As historian Steve Lech told The Press-Enterprise, “He [Stephen] would run the tow truck and pump gas. The witch hunt against President Donald Trump and his supporters continues.

The Democrats’ Jan 6th committee is now demanding that 15 social media companies hand over their records.

The Daily Caller reported:

The House committee probing the Jan. 6 riots is demanding over a dozen social media companies hand over extensive records related to the events at the Capitol.

The Select Committee investigating the Capitol riot sent letters dated Aug. 26 to Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube and Reddit, along with Parler, TikTok, 4chan and seven other social media platforms asking them to provide all documents, data and other information related to the Capitol riot since April 2020.

The committee requested documents concerning “misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation relating to the 2020 election,” efforts to overturn the election, “domestic violent extremists,” and foreign influence. The committee also asked for internal documents and communications on how the social media companies’ algorithms may have contributed to the events at the Capitol.

“The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol is examining the facts, circumstances, and causes of the attack and relating to the peaceful transfer of power, in order to identify and evaluate lessons learned and to recommend corrective laws, policies, procedures, rules, or regulations,” Rep. Bennie Thompson, the committee’s chair, said in a statement.

This comes after even the FBI was forced to admit that there was “scant evidence” that Jan 6th was coordinated.

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.

On Revolution

When is the right time for a revolution and how should it be achieved?

To the first question, there are two answers: The ideological one and the practical one. Both answers are quite simple to state, yet not so easy to detect. Ideologically, a revolution should happen when the nation is ruled by a tyrant or when leaders’ incompetence is damaging it. Practically, a revolution should happen when there is more to be gained than to be lost. The truth is actually both: A revolution should happen if the nation is tyrannical or incompetent and these is more to be gained than to be lost.

Yet, as said, it may be easy to say this, yet it’s not as easy to determine when those conditions have been reached. When are leaders tyrannical? When are they incompetent? When do you know you have more to gain than to lose?

I’ll start with the first and easiest one: When do you know you have more to gain than to lose? This one is simply mathematics yet ofttimes, revolutionaries overlook it. They’ll oust their leaders with the belief that “things could not possibly get any worse”, then things actually do get worse. Evaluate: What services does the government provide? Is there justice in the nation? Who are our enemies and how would they react to a civil war? Can we keep the nation supplied in food, water, fuel and other goods without the current government? In the end, what good is it to get rid of a tyrant just to starve to death? Or to replace incompetent leaders with even worse ones? So, all the variables must be taken into account before engaging in a revolutionary act. As the saying goes, “Out of the frying pan, into the fire” would not be a good thing.

Next, how do you know your leaders are incompetent? This is seen through calamities; famines, pandemics, immense criminality, financial crashes, etc. Yet, these events could be completely out of the hands of the leaders: Even the most competent leader can’t predict, prevent or end natural disasters which can lead to these issues. However, one can tell if they had prepared for such eventualities, how they react to such events, if they acted for the good of the nation rather than their own when those incidents happened. It goes back to the “profits/losses” equation: Can you tell with relative certainty that different leaders would have handled the situation better? If so, then it’s time for a revolution.

Finally, tyrants. Believe it or not, detecting a tyrant is more difficult than you’d imagine. Even the most benevolent of leaders will have to take decisions which will harm a minority to help the nation. To these people, the leaders will appear as tyrannical. Yet here is the key, isn’t it? If the decisions always harm as few people as possible while benefiting as many as possible, then they’re clearly not tyrannical. So, we can define a tyrant as a leader who takes decisions which benefit a minority to the detriment of the nation at large. We can thus state the following:

“If leaders are taking decisions which benefit a minority to the detriment of the nation OR if different leaders would definitely be capable of taking better decisions AND there is more to be gained than to be lost from a revolution, then it is time for a revolution.”

Yet how can a revolution be achieved?

People think revolution and they inevitably think “violence”, yet it is not always necessary. In fact, most revolutions are non-violent, we simply call them something else: elections. Yet there are other kinds of non-violent revolutions. I’ll examine three types: The violent revolution, the election and the quiet revolution.

The violent revolution is the one people have in mind most of the time when they think about revolution. Yet, it is the least desirable: A violent revolution brings about death and destruction. Simply put: The losses incurred by a violent revolution are great and thus will likely outweigh the gains. Still, undesirable does not mean unnecessary. To know if a violent revolution is necessary, ask yourself two questions:

1. Is a revolution necessary?

2. Is it impossible to have a non-violent revolution?

If you answer yes to both of these questions, then it’s time for a violent revolution. The first step here would be to obtain the collaboration of people who know how to engage in violence, namely the armed forces and the police forces. This is not always possible, yet if it can be achieved your victory is assured and in fact will be far less violent. When obtaining their collaboration however, make sure they have the same goal as you, namely improving the nation. This is difficult to achieve and can only be done through ideology, yet it can be done.

We’ll go over the first and best known type of non-violent revolution: elections. Whether you’re a democracy or any other kind of republic, it is possible to remove the current rulers and replace them with others through an election. Rather than explain such a well-known process, I’d rather touch on when it’s time to go for something else. Namely, when the voting pool gets limited to candidates which are all incompetent or tyrannical. The obvious answer here would be to present candidates which are neither, yet this is not always possible. So, when all candidates are incompetent or tyrannical and it is impossible to present a candidate which is neither, it is time to abandon elections as a viable option.

The other method I would like to propose is one which was witnessed in my society, and actually in quite a few others: The quiet revolution. The quiet revolution happens when the entirety of the population (or so close as to make no difference) stops listening to what the authorities say at once. This works best if the enforcing bodies, namely the military and police, collaborate with the population. In this case, citizens need to build new, alternate power structures to replace the old ones, to compete with them. As time passes and the new, better power structures actually do their job, the old leaders’ authority will wane and the revolution will be achieved. However, a quiet revolution requires a very homogeneous population which is in agreement with the abandonment of the power structure. It is a hijacking of authority, so to speak.

To give a specific example, let’s imagine a government has an office of roads. They manage roads. They do it badly. Now, a citizen says “I’ll make my own office of roads!”, receives donations from citizens and actually starts doing the job the old office of roads wouldn’t do. Eventually, people stop paying their taxes to the office of roads and instead start paying them to the new one. The old gets replaced with the new in a non-violent way. As said, this is only possible if you have the collaboration of enforcing agents. If the old office of roads tells the cops “GO ARREST THAT NEW OFFICE OF ROADS” and they listen, then it becomes impossible to achieve a quiet revolution.

So, before violence, you should attempt elections or hijacking authority.

There is much more to be said on revolution, and I suggest you read up on it because it will unfortunately be very important in the coming years. People need to understand that revolutions are necessary, yet they also need to ask themselves two questions before doing so:

1. Is it worth it?

2. Can we do it without resorting to violence?

If we can educate people in this matter, I am convinced we can avoid many horrors in the near future. Denying the legitimacy of revolutions will not prevent them from happening; it will only prevent people from learning how to achieve them properly.

Teen mental health hospitalizations rise by 57% during lockdowns in Victoria – state report

The number of teen hospitalizations for mental health emergencies skyrocketed in the Australian state of Victoria this year as Covid-19 lockdowns kept people indoors and away from others, according to a leaked official report.

The Weekend Australian obtained a secretive 16-page report from the Victorian Agency for Health Information on Saturday – which was marked confidential and to be destroyed if received by an unauthorized person – revealing that the youth mental health crisis is worse than previously thought.

An average of 342 Victorians under the age of 17 were admitted to hospital each week, according to the report, which used data from between April and May of this year. This is a worrying 57% increase from the same time period in 2020.

On average 156 teenagers per week were also admitted to hospital for self-harming or expressing suicidal tendencies, the report claimed – an 88% increase from the year prior.

Perhaps most concerning, cases where teenagers required “resuscitation and emergency treatment” rose by a whopping 162% from the same six week time period in 2019, and an 83% rise from 2020, showing that the problem is getting significantly worse.

2 Dead In Japan After Receiving Moderna Jabs From Contaminated Batches

Just last week, data from a leaked Canadian study revealed that the Moderna jab led to harmful side effects like myocarditis and pericarditis (harmful swelling of the heart) almost 2.5x as often as the Pfizer-BioNTech jab.

The news alarmed millions of Americans who received the Moderna jab, and also rattled Moderna's stock price, putting a damper on what had been a market-leading bull run.

Since then, critics of the jab have been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now, it looks like the time has finally arrived: Two people died after receiving Moderna vaccine shots that were among lots later suspended following the discovery of contaminants, Japan's health ministry said on Saturday.

The contaminated batches were first publicized earlier in the week.

The deaths fit the profile of the typical vaccine-induced myocarditis sufferer: the side effects tend to afflict men in their 20s and 30s, Reuters reports. Their deaths occurred within days of receiving a second dose of the jab.

The men in their 30s died this month within days of receiving their second Moderna doses, the ministry said in a release. Each had a shot from one of three manufacturing lots suspended on Thursday. The causes of death are being investigated.

Japan halted the use of 1.63 million Moderna doses shipped to 863 vaccination centres nationwide, more than a week after the domestic distributor, Takeda Pharmaceutical Co, received reports of contaminants in some vials.

"At this time, we do not have any evidence that these deaths are caused by the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine," Moderna and Takeda said in a statement on Saturday. "It is important to conduct a formal investigation to determine whether there is any connection."

One public health authority asked the public not to jump to conclusions.

The government has also said no safety or efficacy issues had been identified and the suspension of the three Moderna batches was a precaution. Fumie Sakamoto, the infection control manager at St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo, cautioned against drawing a connection between the shots and the fatalities reported on Saturday.

"There may only be a temporal relationship between vaccination and death," Sakamoto told Reuters. "There are so many things we still don't know to make any conclusions on these two cases."

According to the Japanese government, both of the men who died had a fever the day after their second dose and died two days after getting the fever. There has been no evidence that their shots contained contaminants, a health ministry official claimed (though they were from the contaminated batches, so the fact that they died suddenly might suggest that something was off).

Then again, their deaths could simply have been caused by rare side effects, not the contaminants found in the vaccines.

‘Tell them ISIS is hosting Parler’: Amazon pulls plug on jihadist propaganda app run through its servers

Amazon’s cloud service was hosting content for an Urdu-language app relaying ISIS messages and has now shut it down. The app was used by jihadists to brag about the deadly terrorist attack outside the Kabul airport.

The embarrassing blunder in Amazon’s content policing was publicized by the Washington Post, which reported a discovery by SITE Intelligence Group, a watchdog monitoring terrorist propaganda online. One of their targets was Nida-e-Haqq, an outlet that disseminated messages of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) in Urdu, a language spoken in many parts of South Asia, including Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Until recently, the content for the Nida-e-Haqq app was hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing division of Amazon and a major player in the market. After the Washington Post reported this fact on Friday, Amazon pulled the plug on it, acknowledging that it violated its terms of service.

“Following an investigation, we have disabled a website that was linked to this app as it was in violation of the AWS Acceptable Use Policy,” Amazon spokesman Casey McGee said.

Some of the recent Nida-e-Haqq posts were related to the Thursday suicide bombing of Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, which the Afghanistan-based branch of IS claimed credit for. The attack killed over 170 people, including 13 US Marines guarding the airport during the last days of evacuations.

“It’s just mind-blowing that even after all these years, ISIS could still find a way to exploit a hosting company like Amazon,” SITE Intelligence Group Executive Director Rita Katz said.

The watchdog looked into the propaganda outlet’s source code and found it drew images and text from a password-protected website, which AWS hosted since April, Katz said.

“It is blatantly filled with official ISIS claims, media and logos of ISIS’ media arms, clear as day,” she explained. “This app was clearly created to keep ISIS’ message and content alive and distributed online.”

The news has drawn condemnation of the Silicon Valley giant, especially from conservatives, who brought up Amazon’s January decision to kick out social media network Parler. The service, which caters to conservative users and touts itself as a free speech platform, was widely accused of being unwilling to eradicate hate messages and calls for violence. The ban came on the heels of the January 6 Capitol Hill riot. Parler remained offline for weeks before reemerging on a different hosting service.

The role of private companies in policing online speech has grown dramatically over the past several years, as dominant platforms have been pressured to counter what is deemed misinformation and messaging of malign players.

The debate over what content should be allowed online intensified again this month amid the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Even people working in left-leaning outlets like CNN wondered if it was OK for Taliban leaders to speak their minds on Twitter while former President Donald Trump remains banned. Trump was ousted from all major platforms in the wake of the Capitol riot, as he was accused of goading his supporters into breaking into Congress and preventing the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory.

I was driving today when I saw a minivan on the road with "election officials" or something similar written on their vehicle (a minivan). On Revolution

When is the right time for a revolution and how should it be achieved?

To the first question, there are two answers: The ideological one and the practical one. Both answers are quite simple to state, yet not so easy to detect. Ideologically,a revolution should happen when the nation is ruled by a tyrant or when leaders’ incompetence is damaging it.Practically, a revolution should happen when there is more to be gained than to be lost. The truth is actually both:A revolution should happen if the nation is tyrannical or incompetent and these is more to be gained than to be lost.

Yet, as said, it may be easy to say this, yet it’s not as easy to determine when those conditions have been reached. When are leaders tyrannical? When are they incompetent? When do you know you have more to gain than to lose?

I’ll start with the first and easiest one: When do you know you have more to gain than to lose? This one is simply mathematics yet ofttimes, revolutionaries overlook it. They’ll oust their leaders with the belief that “things could not possibly get any worse”, then things actually do get worse.Evaluate: What services does the government provide? Is there justice in the nation? Who are our enemies and how would they react to a civil war? Can we keep the nation supplied in food, water, fuel and other goods without the current government?In the end, what good is it to get rid of a tyrant just to starve to death? Or to replace incompetent leaders with even worse ones? So, all the variables must be taken into account before engaging in a revolutionary act. As the saying goes, “Out of the frying pan, into the fire” would not be a good thing.

Next, how do you know your leaders are incompetent? This is seen through calamities; famines, pandemics, immense criminality, financial crashes, etc. Yet, these events could be completely out of the hands of the leaders: Even the most competent leader can’t predict, prevent or end natural disasters which can lead to these issues. However, one can tell if they had prepared for such eventualities, how they react to such events, if they acted for the good of the nation rather than their own when those incidents happened. It goes back to the “profits/losses” equation: Can you tell with relative certainty that different leaders would have handled the situation better? If so, then it’s time for a revolution.

Finally, tyrants. Believe it or not, detecting a tyrant is more difficult than you’d imagine. Even the most benevolent of leaders will have to take decisions which will harm a minority to help the nation. To these people, the leaders will appear as tyrannical. Yet here is the key, isn’t it? If the decisions always harm as few people as possible while benefiting as many as possible, then they’re clearly not tyrannical.So, we can define a tyrant as a leader who takes decisions which benefit a minority to the detriment of the nation at large. We can thus state the following:

“If leaders are taking decisions which benefit a minority to the detriment of the nation OR if different leaders would definitely be capable of taking better decisions AND there is more to be gained than to be lost from a revolution, then it is time for a revolution.”

Yet how can a revolution be achieved?

People think revolution and they inevitably think “violence”, yet it is not always necessary. In fact, most revolutions are non-violent, we simply call them something else: elections. Yet there are other kinds of non-violent revolutions. I’ll examine three types: The violent revolution, the election and the quiet revolution.

The violent revolution is the one people have in mind most of the time when they think about revolution. Yet, it is the least desirable: A violent revolution brings about death and destruction. Simply put: The losses incurred by a violent revolution are great and thus will likely outweigh the gains. Still, undesirable does not mean unnecessary.To know if a violent revolution is necessary, ask yourself two questions:

1. Is a revolution necessary?

2. Is it impossible to have a non-violent revolution?

If you answer yes to both of these questions, then it’s time for a violent revolution.The first step here would be to obtain the collaboration of people who know how to engage in violence, namely the armed forces and the police forces. This is not always possible, yet if it can be achieved your victory is assured and in fact will be far less violent. When obtaining their collaboration however, make sure they have the same goal as you, namely improving the nation. This is difficult to achieve and can only be done through ideology, yet it can be done.

We’ll go over the first and best known type of non-violent revolution: elections. Whether you’re a democracy or any other kind of republic, it is possible to remove the current rulers and replace them with others through an election. Rather than explain such a well-known process, I’d rather touch on when it’s time to go for something else. Namely, when the voting pool gets limited to candidates which are all incompetent or tyrannical. The obvious answer here would be to present candidates which are neither, yet this is not always possible.So, when all candidates are incompetent or tyrannical or in the case that free and fair elections are impossible, it is time to abandon elections as a viable option.

The other method I would like to propose is one which was witnessed in my society, and actually in quite a few others: The quiet revolution.The quiet revolution happens when the entirety of the population (or so close as to make no difference) stops listening to what the authorities say at once.This works best if the enforcing bodies, namely the military and police, collaborate with the population. In this case, citizens need to build new, alternate power structures to replace the old ones, to compete with them. As time passes and the new, better power structures actually do their job, the old leaders’ authority will wane and the revolution will be achieved. However, a quiet revolution requires a very homogeneous population which is in agreement with the abandonment of the power structure. It is a hijacking of authority, so to speak.

To give a specific example, let’s imagine a government has an office of roads. They manage roads. They do it badly. Now, a citizen says “I’ll make my own office of roads!”, receives donations from citizens and actually starts doing the job the old office of roads wouldn’t do. Eventually, people stop paying their taxes to the office of roads and instead start paying them to the new one. The old gets replaced with the new in a non-violent way. As said, this is only possible if you have the collaboration of enforcing agents. If the old office of roads tells the cops “GO ARREST THAT NEW OFFICE OF ROADS” and they listen, then it becomes impossible to achieve a quiet revolution.

So, before violence, you should attempt elections or hijacking authority.

There is much more to be said on revolution, and I suggest you read up on it because it will unfortunately be very important in the coming years. People need to understand that revolutions are necessary, yet they also need to ask themselves two questions before doing so:

1. Is it worth it?

2. Can we do it without resorting to violence?

If we can educate people in this matter, I am convinced we can avoid many horrors in the near future. Denying the legitimacy of revolutions will not prevent them from happening; it will only prevent people from learning how to achieve them properly.

“It is with a grieving heart that I let you know of the death of 19-year-old Matthew Mindler from Hellertown, Pennsylvania, a first-year student at Millersville University. A search had been underway for Matthew since Thursday, after he was reported missing,” it read.

“Matthew was found deceased this morning, Saturday, August 28, in Manor Township near campus. Matthew was transported to the Lancaster County Forensic Center by the coroner for further investigation.”

Officials did not disclose the cause of death or whether foul play is suspected.

A missing adult report was filed after Mindler’s family said he “did not return to his room or return phone calls from his family” Wednesday. He was last seen leaving his dorm room building around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24, and failed to show up to his classes the following morning.

Mindler co-starred with Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks and Zooey Deschanel in 2011’s “My Idiot Brother.” His last role was that of a character named Peter in 2016 TV movie, “Chad: An American Boy,” according to IMDB.

Rep. Gosar Demands Answers from State Dept Following National Pulse Afghan Exfiltration Exposé.

Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) is demanding answers from the U.S. State Department after a National Pulse exposé revealing the Biden regime cancelled Trump-era plans to found a new bureau specializing in rescuing Americans from crisis zones such as Afghanistan.

On August 18th, we reported:

The “Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau” – which was designed to handle medical, diplomatic, and logistical support concerning Americans overseas was paused by Antony Blinken’s State Department earlier this year. Notification was officially signed just months before the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.

In a letter dated August 27th, Rep. Gosar wrote to Secretary Blinken:

As Americans and the world-at-large watch in dismay at the frantic scenes coming from Kabul, we are all concerned for the safety of our fellow countrymen. I am equally concerned with the lack of preparation for this contingency. Questions regarding this lack of preparation will be brought to the Department of Defense, however I write today concerned by reports that the State Department terminated a crisis response group in the months leading up to the Afghanistan withdrawal.

Specifically, I am referring to the Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau (CCR) established in October 2020 under the Trump Administration which was designed to handle medical, diplomatic, and logistical support concerning Americans overseas. Reports from The National Pulse indicate that the State Department under your watch terminated this critically important bureau just months before the Afghanistan withdrawal and the need to evacuate thousands of Americans.

Gosar added:

Cancelling the CCR as the Biden Administration was preparing for the Afghanistan withdrawal is baffling and raises serious questions about how prepared the Administration was to complete this final step in Afghanistan. Reports also indicate that the decision to pause the program go back as far as February, which means this decision would have also jeopardized the withdrawal plan committed to under the Trump Administration.

If reports that the CCR has been paused since February and terminated in June are correct, it shows that State was never prepared for this withdrawal, justifying the heartbreaking and concerning reports and videos we are now seeing from Afghanistan.

I am therefore asking for confirmation on whether or not CCR was terminated and if so, on what grounds? A full scope answer of what authorities and justification were given to terminate the CCR, what the State Department felt it had in place to fill the CCR gap, and a determination of any issues for the State Department responding to this contingency would greatly aid in oversight of this withdrawal.

Finally, please also indicate if elimination of the CCR was in response to any Biden Administration wide orders to reevaluate Trump era policies or the product of any lingering resentment towards the former Administration held by career or political employees. Please adhere to all rules and regulation when fulfilling this request.

The letter comes as discredited “fact check” websites such as Politifact panicked over The National Pulse’s reporting, and sought to confuse the matter with a long article quoting unrelated think-tank “experts” who claimed without evidence that the scrapping of the CCR plan did not affect the Afghanistan withdrawal. Notably, Politifact did not attempt to rate the story true or false, as it usually does.

The far-left Media Matters website was also rattled by the revelation, first misattributing the story to Fox News, then baselessly attempting to confuse the OpMed bureau inside the State Department with the new CCR, without speaking to people actively involved in the Trump-era program, as The National Pulse sourced.

Kraft Heinz to Mandate COVID-19 Vaccines for Office Employees

Kraft Heinz Co. said on Friday all U.S. employees will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before returning to offices in January.

Dykstra was accused of "antisemitism" by PA Rep. Mike Schlossberg

The Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee used their verified account to attack retired baseball star Lenny Dykstra on Friday. A verified Twitter user named David Rothschild accused Dykstra of antisemitism for quote tweeting him and calling him by his name. “This Rothschild guy really really has his patriotic fury out for the January 6 insurrectionists!!! #MuhInsurrection,” Dykstra wrote in a quote tweet.

“Apparently Lenny Dykstra has some thoughts on the Jews,” Rothschild wrote in a quote tweet on another callout from the three-time All Star. Dykstra did not mention anything about Jewish people, he simply quote tweeted a man named “Rothschild” who then turned around and accused him of anti-Semitism. “Dumbass, the Rothschild Family is not Jews in general. PA Rep. Mike Schlossberg, a Democrat, then entered the fray. He too accused Dykstra of antisemitism for “invoking” The Rothschild family. “Hey Lenny, I’m Jewish, and when you invoke the Rothchild’s, you’re not even attempting to hide your antisemitism,” Schlossberg wrote in a tweet. Dykstra then told Schlossberg that he “sucks” and that he looked like a pedophile. “Gosh, you suck!!!! Also, you clearly look a pedo!” Dykstra fired back.

After that, the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee used their verified account to attack Dykstra. “The PA HDCC is the political arm of the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus, tasked with protecting incumbents, growing the Caucus, training and recruiting,” the group states on their website. “No one messes with our members — especially not a cheating, gambling, steroid using, wash up like you,” wrote the HDCC in a tweet. Too many fastballs to the head — you continue to be an embarrassment to Major League Baseball and the Phillies organization. Back off, loser.”

The ADL’s Philadelphia chapter also accused Dykstra of antisemitism. “Lenny Dykstra’s tirade about the Rothschilds and his obsession with who is and is not Jewish is not only bizarre, it is antisemitism,” the ADL said. “Rothschild conspiracies play on classic antisemitic stereotypes of Jewish greed and secret power.”

Dykstra rejected the accusations. “This DemocRAT loudmouth sissy just threw out a false accusation of anti-Semitism at me because I called out a douchebag last named Rothschild who was cheerleading Biden on Afghanistan,” Dykstra said of Rep. Schlossberg.

When is the right time for a revolution and how should it be achieved?

To the first question, there are two answers: The ideological one and the practical one. Both answers are quite simple to state, yet not so easy to detect. Ideologically,a revolution should happen when the nation is ruled by a tyrant or when leaders’ incompetence is damaging it.Practically, a revolution should happen when there is more to be gained than to be lost. The truth is actually both:A revolution should happen if the nation is tyrannical or incompetent and there is more to be gained than to be lost.

Yet, as said, it may be easy to say this, yet it’s not as easy to determine when those conditions have been reached. When are leaders tyrannical? When are they incompetent? When do you know you have more to gain than to lose?

I’ll start with the first and easiest one: When do you know you have more to gain than to lose? This one is simply mathematics yet ofttimes, revolutionaries overlook it. They’ll oust their leaders with the belief that “things could not possibly get any worse”, then things actually do get worse.Evaluate: What services does the government provide? Is there justice in the nation? Who are our enemies and how would they react to a civil war? Can we keep the nation supplied in food, water, fuel and other goods without the current government?

In the end, what good is it to get rid of a tyrant just to starve to death? Or to replace incompetent leaders with even worse ones? So, all the variables must be taken into account before engaging in a revolutionary act. As the saying goes, “Out of the frying pan, into the fire” would not be a good thing.

Next, how do you know your leaders are incompetent?'''

This is seen through calamities; famines, pandemics, immense criminality, financial crashes, etc. Yet, these events could be completely out of the hands of the leaders: Even the most competent leader can’t predict, prevent or end natural disasters which can lead to these issues. However, one can tell if they had prepared for such eventualities, how they react to such events,'''if they acted for the good of the nation rather than their own when those incidents happened.

It goes back to the “profits/losses” equation:Can you tell with relative certainty that different leaders would have handled the situation better? If so, then it’s time for a revolution.

Finally, tyrants. Believe it or not, detecting a tyrant is more difficult than you’d imagine. Even the most benevolent of leaders will have to take decisions which will harm a minority to help the nation. To these people, the leaders will appear as tyrannical. Yet here is the key, isn’t it? If the decisions always harm as few people as possible while benefiting as many as possible, then they’re clearly not tyrannical.So, we can define a tyrant as a leader who takes decisions which benefit a minority to the detriment of the nation at large. We can thus state the following:

“If leaders are taking decisions which benefit a minority to the detriment of the nation OR if different leaders would definitely be capable of taking better decisions AND there is more to be gained than to be lost from a revolution, then it is time for a revolution.”

Yet how can a revolution be achieved?

People think revolution and they inevitably think “violence”, yet it is not always necessary. In fact, most revolutions are non-violent, we simply call them something else: elections. Yet there are other kinds of non-violent revolutions. I’ll examine three types: The violent revolution, the election and the quiet revolution.

The violent revolution is the one people have in mind most of the time when they think about revolution. Yet, it is the least desirable: A violent revolution brings about death and destruction. Simply put: The losses incurred by a violent revolution are great and thus will likely outweigh the gains. Still, undesirable does not mean unnecessary.

To know if a violent revolution is necessary, ask yourself two questions:

1. Is a revolution necessary?

2. Is it impossible to have a non-violent revolution?

If you answer yes to both of these questions, then it’s time for a violent revolution.

The first step here would be to obtain the collaboration of people who know how to engage in violence, namely the armed forces and the police forces. This is not always possible, yet if it can be achieved your victory is assured and in fact will be far less violent. When obtaining their collaboration however, make sure they have the same goal as you, namely improving the nation. This is difficult to achieve and can only be done through ideology, yet it can be done.

We’ll go over the first and best known type of non-violent revolution: elections. Whether you’re a democracy or any other kind of republic, it is possible to remove the current rulers and replace them with others through an election. Rather than explain such a well-known process, I’d rather touch on when it’s time to go for something else. Namely, when the voting pool gets limited to candidates which are all incompetent or tyrannical. The obvious answer here would be to present candidates which are neither, yet this is not always possible.

So, when all candidates are incompetent or tyrannical or in the case that free and fair elections are impossible, it is time to abandon elections as a viable option.

The other method I would like to propose is one which was witnessed in my society, and actually in quite a few others: The quiet revolution.

The quiet revolution happens when the entirety of the population (or so close as to make no difference) stops listening to what the authorities say at once.

This works best if the enforcing bodies, namely the military and police, collaborate with the population. In this case, citizens need to build new, alternate power structures to replace the old ones, to compete with them. As time passes and the new, better power structures actually do their job, the old leaders’ authority will wane and the revolution will be achieved. However, a quiet revolution requires a very homogeneous population which is in agreement with the abandonment of the power structure. It is a hijacking of authority, so to speak.

To give a specific example, let’s imagine a government has an office of roads. They manage roads. They do it badly. Now, a citizen says “I’ll make my own office of roads!”, receives donations from citizens and actually starts doing the job the old office of roads wouldn’t do. Eventually, people stop paying their taxes to the office of roads and instead start paying them to the new one. The old gets replaced with the new in a non-violent way. As said, this is only possible if you have the collaboration of enforcing agents. If the old office of roads tells the cops “GO ARREST THAT NEW OFFICE OF ROADS” and they listen, then it becomes impossible to achieve a quiet revolution.

So, before violence, you should attempt elections or hijacking authority.

There is much more to be said on revolution, and I suggest you read up on it because it will unfortunately be very important in the coming years. People need to understand that revolutions are necessary, yet they also need to ask themselves two questions before doing so:

1. Is it worth it?

2. Can we do it without resorting to violence?

If we can educate people in this matter, I am convinced we can avoid many horrors in the near future.

Denying the legitimacy of revolutions will not prevent them from happening; it will only prevent people from learning how to achieve them properly.

Miami Herald faces backlash for running 'misleading' headline on Florida COVID-19 deaths

The Miami Herald used what many are calling a "misleading" headline on an article about COVID-19 deaths in Florida, which garnered thousands of clicks and shares from detractors of Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The Miami Herald published an article with the headline: "Florida COVID update: 901 added deaths, largest single-day increase in pandemic history."

The headline caused a stir because the deadliest day for the entire United States during the pandemic was on Jan. 7 with 4,489 new coronavirus deaths, according to Worldometer. However, the headline didn't reveal the entire story about the 901 COVID-19 newly reported deaths in Florida.

The headline was also utilized by critics of DeSantis, the Republican governor who bucked many coronavirus policies and stances embraced by Democrats. The article was shared on Twitter by MSNBC personalities, Lincoln Project employees, and liberals.

Leftists even compared the disingenuous COVID-19 framing to the U.S. service members who died in the terrorist attacks in Afghanistan. Other Twitter users weaponized the headline to attack DeSantis.

The article received massive exposure and thousands of "likes" by being shared on social media.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel also used a questionable headline, claiming that there were "901 new deaths," instead of specifically saying "newly reported deaths."

Florida did not encounter 901 COVID-19 deaths in one single day, but over the course of weeks.

"Florida on Thursday reported 21,765 more COVID-19 cases and 901 deaths to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to Miami Herald calculations of CDC data," the Miami Herald wrote in its article. "All but two of the newly reported deaths occurred after July 25, with about 78% of those people dying in the past two weeks, according to Herald calculations of data published by the CDC. The majority of deaths happened during Florida's latest surge in COVID-19 cases, fueled by the delta variant."

The day the Miami Herald article was published, there were eight COVID-19 deaths reported in Florida and the 7-day moving average was 53 deaths, according to Worldometer. The most coronavirus deaths in Florida for one day is 242 on Aug. 5, 2020.

Three Days Left: U.S. Embassy’s Website Alert Page Down, Gives ‘404 Error’ to Stranded Americans

The website of U.S. embassy in Kabul on Saturday morning gave a “404 Error – Page Not Found” to stranded Americans who are looking for status updates on how to reach the airport to be extracted.

“We are sorry but the page you are looking for does not exists,” the page reads, pointing evacuees to “the homepage or browse some of our recent posts.”

Previously, the website page would give alerts to stranded Americans of whether they should or should not to travel to the airport due to security threats the Taliban were charged with mitigating.

For instance, the page read August 25, “Because of security threats outside the gates of Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.”

Just a few days earlier on August 21, it warned trapped American citizens to “avoid” the Kabul airport because of “security threats outside the gates.”

“Because of potential security threats outside the gates at the Kabul airport,” the embassy advised, “we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.”

The down U.S. embassy page comes as President Joe Biden is drawing down the U.S. military at the airport to abide by the Taliban-enforced deadline of August 31, three days from now, eastern standard time.

The U.S. State Department advised Wednesday about 1,500 Americans are stranded behind enemy lines. But a Senate aide told CNN the same day more than 4,000 Americans remain trapped inside the country. The precise number is not known.

Former Swedish Social Democrat Politician Caught with False Passports in Greece

Abdi Elmi, a former politician belonging to Sweden’s Social Democrats, was arrested in Greece after being caught with passports that were not his own.

The arrest is said to have taken place back in July at an airport in Athens. Greek police stated that the former Social Democrat was travelling with Swedish passports that did not belong to him.

According to a report from the Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Radio, Swedish Border Police believes that such passports are taken to places like Greece in order to help migrants get to Sweden illegally, but Greek police have not commented on whether or not they believe Elmi’s passports were meant to help facilitate illegal migration.

The leftist is said to be free on bail conditions at this time.

Last year, another former member of the Social Democrats was arrested after being accused of helping to smuggle migrants illegally into Sweden.

Syrian migrant Rashad Alasaad was the subject of a Swedish media investigation which found that the 27-year-old charged 2-3,000 euros for passports to help children and adults enter Sweden illegally.

The Swedish journalists who investigated his activities also met with Alasaad on the Greek island of Crete after the Syrian claimed that passport controls were too strict in Athens — where Mr Elmi was recently taken into custody.

Alasaad bragged of smuggling his entire family from Syria to Sweden and later admitted his actions were just about making money, saying: “Let me tell you why I do it. To be honest with you, the main reason is money. I want money.”

Along with politicians, Swedish journalists have also been arrested for helping to illegally smuggle migrants with Swedish journalist Fredrik Önnevall, an employee of public broadcaster SVT, being convicted of human trafficking in 2018.

The young migrant the journalist smuggled into the country was later convicted of knife crimes a year later in 2019.

American talk show host calls for mass violence against Afghans over terrorist attack that killed US citizens in Kabul

Talk show host Todd Starnes has called for the destruction of an Afghan city for every American killed after an Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) attack at Hamid Karzai International Airport killed 12 US citizens.

Starnes’ post, made in the aftermath of two explosions at the Kabul airport on Thursday, seemingly blamed all Afghans for the carnage, which left at least 60 people dead, including 12 American servicemembers and numerous Afghan civilians.

But ethnically-misguided revenge fantasies from American talk show hosts are a dime a dozen, and have been throughout the ‘War on Terror’. The really shocking part of Starnes’ statement was that it was made on Twitter, which would normally send its moderators to swarm all over an opinion expressed by a conservative pundit. Even Twitter’s most free speech-friendly competitors ban incitement to violence, as well as expressions of ethnically- or nationally-based hate. Yet Starnes’ jingoistic tweet remained online, where many fellow tweeters used it as a piñata.

Anonymous donor from 'out of town' pays for funerals of ALL 20 Tennessee flash flooding victims who included seven-month old twins and a 16-year-old

Twenty people who died in a Tennessee flood have had their funerals paid for by an anonymous donor from 'out of town', a funeral home manager said.

A man who wished to remain unnamed walked into the the Humphreys County Funeral Home in Waverly on Thursday and paid for the nine funerals being organized there.

Manager William Brown told the Tennessean that the man also went to other funeral homes in the area to pay for the funerals of the other 11 victims.

The donations came as hundreds of thousands of dollars flowed into the community from donors across the state and nation to help families affected by the devastating flood on Saturday.

The flooding took out houses, roads, cellphone towers and telephone lines, with rainfall that more than tripled forecasts and shattered the state record for one-day rainfall.

More than 270 homes were destroyed and 160 took major damage, according to the Humphreys County Emergency Management Agency.

It comes after a Tennessee woman who was livestreaming rising flash-floodwaters drowned shortly after recording the video.

Linda Almond, of Waverly, Tennessee, was on the roof of her home with her son, Tommy, when it collapsed and the pair were swept away by rushing water.

Tommy was rescued by authorities, but Almond did not survive, her family confirmed on Facebook.

Almond's one-minute Facebook live, which has now had more than 20,000 views, includes her final words: 'This is really scary. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness.'

As of Tuesday morning, at least 21 people were killed and 10 others missing as a result of catastrophic floods that came after 17 inches of rain fell over parts of Tennessee in a 24-hour period.

Among those killed were two seven-month-old twins and the ranch foreman for country singer Loretta Lynn.

Former Colorado daycare owner and employee are found guilty of child abuse after hiding 26 toddlers in a basement behind a FALSE WALL

A former daycare worker and her employee were found guilty of child abuse after hiding 26 children behind a 'false wall' in her basement.

Carla Faith, 58, and one of her employees, Christina Swauger, were found guilty by a jury on 26 counts of misdemeanor child abuse.

In November 2019, Authorities found 26 children under the age of three children behind a false wall in the basement of Faith's Play Mountain Place day care in Colorado Springs after parents complained of overcrowding at her home.

She had been operating the daycare with a license for just six kids and, it is believed, when police arrived she hid the kids from view. Officers persevered because they could hear the children inside.

When the police entered the home they found a 'false wall' which led to the basement.

Once they got to the basement, they found the 26 children and two adults.

According to the affidavit, many of the children had soiled or wet diapers and were sweaty and thirsty, gazette.com reported.

'Officers immediately began working with [The Colorado Department of Human Services] to release the children back to their parents,' he said.

Authorities shut down that property and another three that she was operating.

District Attorney Michael Allen celebrated the guilty verdict as he stood with the families of some of the victims in front of the El Paso County Combined Courthouse.

'It's all on behalf of every single one of these people here today,' he said. 'They deserve justice, and I think that this gives them a sense of justice.'

The family members attended most of the court trial that included police body camera footage of the daycare and 'some pretty heavy testimony,' Deputy DA Andrew Herlihy said.

Following the verdict a parent said the trial was emotional and the families would need time to heal, gazette.com reported.

'It's going to take help, for our kids especially, to move on after the trauma that they've gone through,' Vanessa Nagel said.

During closing arguments, defense attorney Josh Tolini tried to convince the jury the situation was not as bad as it seemed and the children were not continually kept in cramped spaces.

'They were spread out, fed, got naps, and did arts and crafts,' he said. 'They were loved.'

At one point Tolini argued there was evidence the kids were well taken care of because they were happy, prompting a parent walked out of the courtroom, KOAA.com reported.

A jury found Faith guilty of 26 counts of knowing and reckless child abuse without injury, as well as charges for running a child care facility without a license and attempting to influence a public servant.

Swauger, an employee at the daycare, was also convicted by the jury of 26 counts child abuse, one for each child found in the basement.

A no-bond warrant has been issued for another employee of the daycare who did not appear in court, the DA's office said.

When she is arrested, she too will go to trial, gazette.com reported.

The child abuse charges could mean three to twelve months in jail.
