You seem to have trouble wrapping your head around this. I'll try to make it more simple for you.
62c7a4 posts this:
>Someone has to make electric kits that let us replace drivetrains from engine to electric. Think of the potential.
>Of course, it would be quite complicated, and it must leave the regular engine as generator while forgetting the gearbox completely (electric engines+gearboxes will not happen on road cars, maybe only specialised towing vehicles).
>No, it has to replace the gearbox (direct acces to engine power for max generation), and handle the power to wheels the same way gearbox did (axles)
To which I (4c37af) reply:
>electric engines+gearboxes will not happen on road cars
>What is the original Honda Insight
Since it technically does have an electric motor (although coupled to a combustion engine) in line with a manual transmission.
To this, you (62c7a4) reply with a lecture on how electric motors work, which completely misses the point of my post you're replying to, and on top of that you tell me "ur dum" by implying that I don't know fucking middle school physics.
Do you understand now, or do I need to use some other language?
