I don't delete my logs ever since I started playing on F-List, I have most of them still saved over a 5 year span.

My writing improved dramatically, but I actively went into it trying to steal, copy and take as many points to what good writing is in that sense and fucked around a fuckton there. I also had a writing-related job after 2 or 3 years, I don't quite recall.

I could easily sell my smut writing, especially since I am into /fur/. The market there is thirsty, throws money at anything and the competition is weak as shit.

I don't because I am lazy and have a comfortable living doing very little at the moment, however.

There are a decent amount of people who want to read smut but they are split up into different niche demographics who rarely interact. You can pick one of these niches, but whatever you try to market to them you have to remember that they can get written porn for free in fanfiction, so they aren't likely to spend money on you unless you can market yourself well.

In a giant roundabout connecting three highways sits Connection City, with a sizable central park ringed by towering national offices. The height of buildings tapers off as the city extend out towards the circular highway, going from department stores, to housing, to offramp-adjacent convenience stores.

Most interestingly however, this world is watched over by mysterious entities beyond the awareness of humans. When one of these patron spirits takes interest in a person, they will gift that person with supernatural abilities. The motivations of these spirits varies. Some will give more power to an ambitious person to increase their reach, some will find a virtuous or brave person, and give them the strength to protect others. Some simply dole out abilities to cause mischief, and others simply give small blessings to individuals they find are special.

Naturally, these various blessings result in conflicts where some use powers for their own gain, while others rise up to oppose them. However, the heroes don't always win, and even some heroes have their own way of "punishing" wrongdoers.

The theme for this thread is along the lines of modern fantasy, magical girls, and superheroes.

This thread shares a setting with Empress Calista's Tower, but go ahead and let each session be it's own cannon.

Very well, let us clash!” The angelic girl spoke out loudly, as the vast pool of darkness converged and shot out the hundred of tendrils at her. Not flinching from the attack, Hope instead flew straight towards it, as she summoned her beams of light to rain down and counter the tendrils, there being at least one beam for each tendril. The park would light up from the sheer amount of beams that were shot, as they streaked down and cut through any tendrils which they hit. She’d create a few extra beams of light to fire at the dark woman. Her shield would be raised to defend against any stray tendril her counter attack may have missed, and would slash the tendril with her spear to make it disappear. She would continue to counter any tendrils which tried to strike or grab her until she landed right in front of her opponent and swiped at her with her spear. After she hid herself from view, and as she yelled out about clashing, Death Bunny begun to sink into her darkness. She hid herself away, just in time for the the bolts of light aimed at her to miss. Once she she was entirely gone into her puddle of dark magic, her mass of tendrils lost some of their accuracy as Shining Hope cut through each one with ease. When Bunny's opponent landed to directly attack her, that would be when she would notice the bunny girl no longer there and that Hope's feet stuck into the pool of darkness, holding her into place.

"My my, I knew you were foolish for protecting weak little insects, but to think you'd get caught in my trap as well…" The evil woman began to say as she emerged from the pitch black puddle behind the heroic magical girl, giggling happily. As she rose back up, her blackened fingers brushed up against Hope's legs, then butt, then her waist, and then when she was fully revealed she reached around to grope those angelic breasts of hers. Everyplace her black skin touched Hope's own, a corrupting feeling could be felt by her. A cold tingling feeling that felt like something was very wrong… and yet it felt so pleasant and so right… a strange contradiction that would bring madness to the sane the more it is felt. If she didn't have her own Regalia, there would be nothing to dampen the corrupting sensation.

The corrupt magical girl leaned forward and got close to the woman's ear. "Huhuhu~" She giggled her strange laugh and begun to speak once again, "If were to be honest, I don't really want to fight someone as beautiful as you. Why don't we just enjoy ourselves instead and bask in each other's POWER? Wouldn't that be so much better than participating in a silly brawl? What do you say, Shining Hope?" She should have known better than to rush towards the enemy like that, getting caught in her trap. She would stab at the pool of blackness at her feet with her spear of light, both to try freeing herself and to see if her spear would have any effect on the darkness. As she struggled against her capture, she suddenly froze at the feeling of the woman raising from the ground from behind her, her hands trailing across her body as she ascended. She would let out a slight shiver at her touch, feeling the corruption seep into her through her bare thigh. Her face would flush as the corrupted magical girl’s hands went to her chest, and would let out a gasp and moan as her breasts were grabbed and groped by the evil woman. Indeed Hope would find the magical pool of dark quite easily destroyed by her spear of light. Any significant magical energy would be able to accomplish that, but especially easy for the woman of light. If only she continued to struggle and she could have easily freed herself from the trap, although perhaps it's not too late?

Upon seeing the woman drop her weapon and give, Death Bunny giggle into Hope's ear. She had given up her struggle… and soon she would see that Bunny's ideals are the correct one. The idea of this woman in her arm joining with her… it excited the mad woman. She would go to lick Hope's ear, over and over, far more than what one would normally consider normal as if the taste of her skin were that of sweet piece of candy. The hands of the evil woman then go to expose Hope's breasts to the air, undoing the clothing where she can, and tearing away the regalia where she easily can't.

Is it just me or are more and more people switching over to Twitter to RP? For the past couple of weeks I can't seem to come across anyone who doesn't eventually turn around and ask me if we can continue our smut over on Twitter, cue me politely declining and thus never hearing nor playing with them ever again. I've even approached them the next time I see their characters online, most times they ignore me and one or two times I've actually found myself blocked. I don't get it, why keep going on F-List, putting out ads if you only wanna play through Twitter? It's giving me PTSD from when everyone was insistent on only roleplaying through Skype and discord, except those two made more sense than fucking Twitter.

Also is it just me or are the Pokemon players all migrating to that platform? I even heard from some friends that Sabrina doesn't even play outside of Twitter anymore, yet she still lounges around the chat all day. Same with a couple of decently popular Moon players, Cynthia, etc. In fact most of these partners I've had trying to egg me to use Twitter were from the fandom.

I have to say, I jumped in on twitter for the first time to try the ERP there. I… actually like it. At least better than F-List (though may still use F-List as a Kink list to refer to. Seen some other accounts do that). Got plenty of people to put up with my vanilla faggotry, following about 70 people I wanna lewd eventually, and 40 some that I (assume) wanna lewd my account.

Even run into some Fire Emblem character where we're having 3-4 paragraph story based lesbian lewds with. In like less than a week. I'm quite enjoying that one.

And even run across some of those into weirder shit that I'm not into but I know a lot of you are. So I know there is a place for those kinks too.

Hey /erp/. I have a problem where, if I get significantly invested in a roleplay, sometimes I end up getting super verbose and churn out mini-novellas on every post. I always tell people not to worry about post length and that they can post as much or as little they like in response, but I feel that sometimes it's intimidating or frustrated to be faced with walls of text that take half an hour or more to write up.

What can I do to consistently reduce my post lengths? I normally average about 200-300 words in three paragraphs or so per post, intros and finishers are usually about 500 words. But certain situations can get me worked up well enough to spend literal hours writing posts that can top 1000 words on occasion, even if my partner's only doing half that much. Is it just a matter of discipline and learning how to condense, or should I not worry about it and let people enjoy the paperbacks worth of smut I'm writing for them?

I'd say there are way, way, way too many unimportant and worst of all, uninteresting details which are used to fluff up the writing. It's all very stiff and 'matter of fact'. Take this block of text for example.

"Shapur, Conall, and Valeriya joined him soon enough, and the party set out at a gallop towards the bank. It was only a few blocks, but it was the most nerve wracking part of the heist as far as Ardeshir was concerned. All it would take is a night watchmen spotting the four of them and raising the alarm to throw their plans into disarray, and though they’d chosen the route accordingly there was still that off chance that everything went tits up. Thankfully they made it to the bank unmolested. It was a tall, three story building with a facade of white marble, a large bank of windows dominating much of the front wall on the first floor."

Is it supposed to be a moment of tension? Worry? Careful planning and execution? Fucked if I know because the first moment of action in the whole post is finished within 2 sentences. But the guy can go on and on about freaking masks and chainmail and mounting and dismounting the fucking horses forever. I've seen less yapping about mounting horses in books ABOUT horses.

I usually play scenes involving a significant amount of bondage, so my posts always end up bloated with verbose descriptions of garments, restraints and - when I feel things are not entirely clear - a detailing of how much freedom my partner has lost, or what he can still do.

I've never liked the style of my own writing because I'm unable to leave things implied or up to the imagination of the reader, but nine out of ten partners I had absolutely love the attention to detail.

It's pretty difficult for some(me included) to streamline their writing to the point where it's not only a good read but also conveys enough information for the reader to fill in any blanks with their imagination. I tried slimming down for a while, but just wasn't happy with all the lack of detail. It ended up bugging me more than feeling like I'm losing myself in them.

I love garment details, especially sexy clothes. I have a few clothing-related kinks, nipples and underwear showing through outerwear, wet and skintight outfits, etc. So verbose garment descriptions sounds perfect for me.

I haven't done much bondage roleplay but I enjoy it, so both the restraint verbosity and the details of lost freedom are good too.

Regardless of the actual state of ERP and such in MMO's, its something I've been more interested getting back into again lately since I've started playing WoW again a bunch more, both on retail and on a private Vanilla server. Would also be interested in leveling up a fresh character on BDO and doing some long term, ERP shenanigans if anyone would be interested in any case.

But yeah, speaking from experience in recent weeks on WoW, walk up for the most part seems like a thing of the past both for regular and ERP. Guild based RP seems much larger than I ever remember it being before though.

Also, just for anyone who might be interested, all about playing females, or at least things feminine in nature. Biggest idea I have for BDO at that would more or less involve becoming a doting housewife in some fashion, whether through a bit of initial force/dub con, or simply consensual through and through. Either way, expect a fairly heavy level of depravity regardless of how things actually start initially and such. Also up for giving ESO a shot as its a game I've never quite played before, but have owned for a loooooong time now.

Anons who want to play with a slut are of course welcome to, but on said slut's terms - they have no obligation to engage with or even respond to anyone that isn't doing it for them for whatever reason.

Thread Defaults. What follows are the base assumptions of the details of play here. As stated above, none of these are required, and a slut can feel free to change any of them to suit herself. If not explicitly stated otherwise, each of these can be presumed to be "in effect."

-Setting: The large and luxurious foyer of a quasi-European palace. Basically the very picture of decadence, with long tables overflowing with only the finest of refreshments, and no shortage of cushions and couches to lounge upon, most prominently surrounding a variety of small circular stages, each roughly 20m in diameter. As if from nowhere a myriad of spotlights shine down on each stage, making them stand out from the rest of the room even more than they already do. Each stage is plain by default, but can be molded and shaped to suit the atmosphere a performer desires, with simple props easily craftable with a thought.

As some of you may know, I've been spending some time looking over old Morrigan-nee/Fapbait threads and doing a bit of research and soul searching as to how the threads got to the point they have. With that in mind, I'm opening this thread as a meta discussion on the threads themselves. Hopefully this will also attract new blood, slut and cock alike, to the threads going forward to keep them as fresh and fruitful as they once were.

First, a bit of history. Something that's easy to forget with how long they've been running is that the start for these threads was very spontaneous - in fact it was directly out of response to an idea someone posted in another (now lost) thread, itself a relating of an experience on another board that some people expressed interest in giving a try. Essentially, it was what we now tend to refer to as JOI (Jack Off Instructions), where someone posts sexy pictures and talks slutty to arouse Anons and get them to masturbate to them (hence the term Fapbait being used for the threads) and at the time I figu "why the hell not" and threw up a thread, which apparently enough people agreed with the sentiment to give it a run early on (including one of the mods! Eva you amazing slut I hope you come home to us someday) that the thread quickly took off and was a major hit, continuing on to fill out 3 threads in less than a week at a time when board activity was, while healthy, nothing on that level. As I note in the OP to Thread 4, the first two threads each made up about 60% of posts on the board for their duration, and Thread 3 was an insane 80% of board activity while it was alive. These threads exploded in a way I don't think anyone anticipated (I certainly didn't) and quite frankly I didn't know what to do with it. The autistic way to go about it is to set dummy rules until you're good enough to break them. Don't use "ly" adverbs, don't write "he did x as he y" or "his x did y while his a b'ed", purposefully try to start sentences with things other than a possessive pronoun, verb, character name or 'the', use a thesaurus, not to simply repeat the same thing again and again worded differently but because looking at loose synonyms might give you ideas on phrasing, and finally don't overuse adjectives, change phrasing if you need to pile on adjectives like hell. These rules are shit, they will limit you like fuck and you won't be able to write jack shit. That's why they're "dummy" rules. They're meant for idiots who don't know anything and need to follow rules until they get some idea of what is good and what is bad. If you feel like you're so shit at writing and going to whine about it then set your own rules like this. These were my rules for the longest time. Look at someone you admire as a writer on flist or otherwise. Compare the phrasing, use of adjectives, adverbs, and prepositions. What makes you so shit? Blindly calling yourself "Shit" is probably just emotional masturbation from your head falling into the habit of hating yourself. It's not actual self criticism. "God I'm so bad" does nothing, it changes nothing. You say you're shit so go ahead, stare at your shittiness and take it all in, look at it. What makes it shit? Self awareness is nothing but self torture if not corrected with action. If you don't want to take action then do yourself a favor and stop being self aware, you'll enjoy life far more.

Or better yet, stop caring about how you write and enjoy the partners you have. They're playing with you for a reason. You have worth as it is and you're good at what you do. The proof is right in front of you. Do you really think someone way above your league apparently would waste their time with you if you were so unbearably bad? No, that makes no sense. If people like you, they like you. An example is I always thought I was shit at writing, yet people who apparently really hate male and blue characters always played with me. Let me give you my own experience of making a Native American character. I went with the idea of a spirit guide/dream-walker (which are some real mythos from various tribes). There was even some opportunity for different beast forms in these dream states such as elk, bear, etc.

He got little play on the best days and generally none. I decided to give up after running into too many people who thought the character was amazing but we'd never get a scene off the ground.

So I've been having somewhat bad luck with new profiles of mine, where I put in effort into them, but can't seem to get the kind of play I want.

I figured a lot of people should have similar problems.

What are some of your profiles that haven't gotten proper play?

All but like two of the profiles I've made out of like, a hundred over the years have been terribly fucking unsuccessful because they were either blues, made for a specific play or, according to the opinions of the worthless fucks at /erp/ lounge, are written in a way that makes me look like a super scary super srs roleplayer.

I find it really distressing to make characters in a vaccuum instead of bouncing off of someone else's profile/ad and I don't like hubs either so I'm mostly stuck in this cycle of making characters to approach the randos I like, getting told off/being too scared to do it, scrap character, repeat. I don't put anything more niche than rape or 14-17 yo girls in my kinks but that doesn't seem to help

So I'm an altaholic who makes a ton of characters, so I'm bound to have some ones that just overall don't work out. I think out of the thirty or so characters I have the least successful one I have is for a Danganronpa fan character called Fan Fan Long.

Truthfully, I don't think she's the greatest piece of work out there as far as profile stuff goes, but I've gotten more attention with nothing but a 'WIP' on the page. I think the fact she is a fan character to a canon that isn't exactly in the top slot of popularity really hurts her in a lot of ways, but I also wanted to use her for a focus of a lot of non-sexual/kink focused role plays which also turns a lot of people away. What I want to do with her isn't also that conventional as well as I sort of want to play her. She's a submissive character who is set in a lab like setting and has experiments conducted on her, but is familiar enough with the enviorment to know whats going on and guide anyone who comes into the lab. While she may be on the receiving end of experiments as well, she also helps narrate what is going on to the other character. Ends up being like a GM/DM character ontop of being her own character. I honestly though don't know how well this hybrid actually works because I've yet to get any attention with her, but some day I'll strike something.

If anything though, she's a good character to log into if I just want to shoot the shit in the rooms without having a bunch of vanilla alpha-dom wolf furries approach me with a "hi how r u?", lol.
