How's this for a first profile? Is the lack of views/bookmarks just a consequence of my fetish being niche, or is there something deeply wrong with it or me? I've left the profile unchanged for the last few months after losing motivation to visit f-list, so it's still something of a work in progress despite the age.

Some ideas after skimming the board:

>polish the prose (e.g. repeated use of tomboy makes it sound like she's a stereotype)

>round out the character portrait/icon

>replace the character art with an artist's (despite a dearth of suitable art)

>remove any possible cringe (i.e. the joke in the dislikes list)

>write character-specific backstory

>remove the lore autism

>list some scenarios

>be vague with the kink list to prevent getting accidentally filtered

>be even more specific with the kink list by adding custom kinks

>change species from pixie to fairy to be more searchable

>lower the age to show apparent/psychological age in human years.

I'll leave it as-is for a week before applying any changes unless there a profile archiving service beyond simply screencapping.

What would you say is the best way to go about this without coming off as a nuisance or a faggot? Sadly the Micro/Macro chatrooms are pure cancer, and I feel like I'd be just as bad if I pushed that shit on unrelated rooms.

This has actually given me the idea to separate out the race details and setting lore into their own profiles, although I'm not sure how best to organize the lot; I prefer to make small, independent settings that leave room for development instead of trying to cram everything into one world, so I'll either end up with profile spam or a singularly enormous one. Is this a bad idea in general? I've seen profiles for settings, so I assume it's not unheard of to do so.

I can't help you with the setting thing because I have limited experience with world-building F-List, but for chat I can tell you to just bee yourself :)

And by that I mean don't worry about your character being niche because most sane people into sizeplay know the associated room is a malignant cesspit and avoid it. Just join rooms relevant to your general kink/setting interests, maybe consider laidback game-type rooms like "Fuck, Marry Kill," and the visibility will help people find you. I'd particularly emphasize that (while it varies person to person) you don't HAVE to be sexually compatible for bantz.

I'll also warn that as an OC you might have to be your own advocate and initiate contact. If nobody worth your time is giving an opening or there's no active conversation that you can join in on, make one yourself, but if it's IC at least try to be purposeful. /me flops or /me rolls around is pointless faggotry that doesn't make anyone able nor willing to interact with you, but having a proper/mini 'open starter' for people to respond to can help. Don't force it if nobody is biting though, obviously.

And for ads, the only advice I can really give regardless of how many rooms you post it in is 'be clear about what you want.' Not too hyper-specific, there's a balance, but to steal a sloppy and more sex-driven example I made in QTDDTOT a little while ago, "Bubble-butt femboy looking for fun!" is considerably worse than, say, "Bubble-butt femboy looking for humanoids for orientation play in a high fantasy setting!".

I am a bit different than most people in that I had very strange fantasies every since I was a small child and I never had an outlet for them. When I discovered the internet it was amazing to me because I could search for anything I wanted in secret without being judged and I've been addicted ever since. I started catfishing 10 years ago. I was living in the middle of no where and extremely lonely.

I had no friends, no family, no one to talk to.

I still distinctly remember the first time I did this. I went into a chatroom with a picture of a girl as my avatar and set my name as a girl I had known on yahoo messenger 5 years prior. When I entered the chat I heard a voice in my ear saying "You shouldn't do this" but I carried on anyways.

I was amazed at the amount of messages I got. I've learned so much about how to filter people just based on the sheer volume of messages alone.

Being a girl online was so powerful. I didn't have to censor myself ever. I could say whatever I wanted and guys would go a long with it. I could tell them about my weird fantasies and not only would they play along, they would let me completely dictate how I wanted the experience to go. I could program them over time so that they knew exactly what I wanted and would always tell me what I wanted to hear. And if a guy ever had a problem with it, there were 10 other ones to choose from ready to take his place.

Over the years I have catfished and roleplayed with literally thousands of people. I do this for 12 hours a day on a "light" day. When I'm binging I can stay up for 3 or 4 days straight until I find someone.

It has gotten a lot harder to find partners over the years. The old chatrooms and sites are very inactive or corporatized and the average user is noticeably more stupid thanPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

That was intended, it gives players more ways to contribute, so ones that simply want to explore the various settings and places through writing can do exactly that without having to come up with a whole culture. This is kind of important considering the small userbase.

Alright, I'll make a strawpoll for settings, then start trying to cook up some basic rules and an outline for gameplay, then put them in a meta thread to discuss any feedback and potentially start thinking about civilizations/characters.

Off the top of my head, I can only really think of three rather broad settings to keep the game as open as possible in terms of creation - classic fantasy, modern fantasy and science-fiction. Am I missing any others? I figure the big differences would mostly be aesthetic with classic fantasy having mostly magic, sci-fi having mostly technology and modern fantasy being more of a mix.

I think multiple "games" might be able to coexist in different threads, with each thread having it's own setting and possibly somewhat different rules. The same people could write in different settings instead of fencing everyone into a single setting.

It's a trade-off like anything else though, do we want to stick to one world and leave people disinterested, or split it up and have possibly less interaction?

I came up with a more evenly-spread way of rolling for the scenario listed in the old dice thread, where the suggested rules leave results a little skewed (though a lot simpler to read from the dice.)

The short version is you have two players with characters that are competing for dominance and a third factor of some kind stands to decide which if either of them has the upper hand.

I'll use the old thread's example and have a pair of rival adventurer girls trying to get a magic bangle that summons tentacles. Roleplay the encounter until a critical moment where the element of chance comes to a head, then have each player throw a die and figure the outcome as follows:

If it's a tie: Both girls grab the bangle at the same time, and share control of the summoned tentacles as they violate each other.

else If both players player roll 3 or less: bad outcome for both, the tentacles can't be controlled and proceed to molest both girls. (Somewhat the same unless you're playing with potential bad ends.)

else if the sum of both rolls is 8 or higher: The character belonging to the player that rolled higher grabs the bangle first, and proceeds to humiliate and toy with the other character.

else: the character that rolled higher has the upper hand like above at first, but the bangle eventually turns on her. (plus potential for bad ends.)

There's other ways to do this, like tie=bad for both characters, but I think this setup makes the most sense while making the odds of each outcome statistically equal.

A long-running, modern, sci-fi setting where I play a female serial killer, who also happens to be a tech-genius and billionaire, and my partner plays a male partner-in-crime/fiance.
