You could write more, but put the stuff that could be considered extra information inside of a dropdown, because the more you write, the less people are going to read. Why spend time reading some character's profile with a bunch of paragraphs, when your kinks don't match up anyway?

This part is very important, and why I think a lot of people on F-List are mentally ill. For example, don't want to play with males or females? Just put them in no, don't go on a tangent about how you find x percentage of males/females boring and other things.
>Don't mention anything too personal in your profile
Somewhat self-explanatory. You'd be surprised about how many players mention they have a mental illness, have tried to commit suicide, or even mention imply that they have been raped. Imagine you meet someone for the first time and one of the first things they tell you is that they're bi-polar or tried to hang themselves,
>Write some custom kinks
These help other players know what you really like or should pay attention to, even if you have a related kink under faves.
>Do your best to find art that is really consistent

This is the image that had me think some time travel shenanigans. Some ancient artifact that transports her to a much more primitive time. Or, on the other hand, she comes across some sort of savage land where dinos roam free and she's stuck there for a little bit.
For a more sci-fi thing being a xeno-archeologist looking for lost relics of ancient alien races, maybe even of her own that takes her far off worlds, asteroids and the like.
In either setting she's going to be very much a Lara Croft. An archeologist who knows how to throw down when need be but would rather talk first shoot second.
Those are just some of the ideas that come to mind for stories

As for the kinks, to be honest I'm actually pretty vanilla in that department.

I recommend looking up tutorials on Youtube on how to remove backgrounds from images in Gimp. You'll want to watch the videos where they use the pen tool to do it.
After you've learned how to remove backgrounds, you're really just limited to your imagination and how much time you want to put into making an inline. You could stitch multiple images together into some kind of collage or just put an image with some text, like I said, it's up to you. Of course, you could even forget all of that and just place an image in the bio.

Off the top of my head, I have two suggestions.
1. An inline. Those always help.
2. Add some customs related to the wacky paranormal things that you're looking for and how they could be applied to lewd. If it helps, your profile comes off as pretty wholesome, so maybe design the customs with that in mind. Here are some examples:
>Hypno. / MC / Sirens: Mermaids have always been known to enthrall sailors, Renny finds their beauty to be really irresistible.
>Growth / Shrinking: Renny always wanted to meet the 50 ft woman or see what it's like to be the size of a mouse.

1. What the other Anon said about your customs, even if you just fill it in with a blank space (Unicode Sort Test has a handful to choose from) "No description set yet" can make your profile look unfinished.
2. The inline placement depends on what it looks like. For most huge ones I would just put it above or below the name, I would consider doing an image split by the quote box (or for a smaller one just put it outright in the quote, above the text)
3. Speaking of the name, it's a nitpick, but I would recommend extending the unicode lines on top and below, it looks weird with the name spilling out, but it's so minor it doesn't really matter
4. Consider adding some linebreaks to your background paragraph, it's not THAT big so you can get away with it but in general unformatted lumps of text aren't very nice to read

How's this for a first profile? Is the lack of views/bookmarks just a consequence of my fetish being niche, or is there something deeply wrong with it or me? I've left the profile unchanged for the last few months after losing motivation to visit f-list, so it's still something of a work in progress despite the age.
Some ideas after skimming the board:
>polish the prose (e.g. repeated use of tomboy makes it sound like she's a stereotype)
>add inlines
>round out the character portrait/icon
>replace the character art with an artist's (despite a dearth of suitable art)
>remove any possible cringe (i.e. the joke in the dislikes list)
>write character-specific backstory
>draft some sample text
>remove the lore autism
>list some scenarios
>be vague with the kink list to prevent getting accidentally filtered
>be even more specific with the kink list by adding custom kinks
>change species from pixie to fairy to be more searchable
>lower the age to show apparent/psychological age in human years.
>moar images
>change desired RP method from notes to something more popular
>lower grammar settings since everyone just uses "fluent"
>whore myself out on ads or chatrooms instead of waiting around
I'll leave it as-is for a week before applying any changes unless there a profile archiving service beyond simply screencapping.

You've more or less got it for the lack of bookmarks. But to expand on it, my first impression of your profile before I even start reading is terrible. In particular the

create an illusion that you haven't put effort into your profile or that you're otherwise low quality even it's demonstrably not the case. I'd recommend learning from https://www.f-list.net/c/profile%20references, drawing inspiration from profiles in chat, and/or (backwards as it sounds) aping a base from one of the dozen template providers floating around. Something "unoriginal" is better than nothing at all.
The dress-up game images, however, are unique in that they're fine on their own if the profile body is prettied up. You may still want to consider bolstering with Picrew ones if you have the patience to find dig through and find ones that suit your taste/look half-ass consistent. Fluffing out the gallery with body/scale/etc references (preferably with defining features cropped out) is also an option, but a bit more difficult to pull off.
Some other notes:
>Views are more about ad quality and general chat message quantity than anything else
>The search system is so scuffed and scarcely used that changing your profile for searchability is appealing to an audience that barely exists
>"Waiting around" is the worst thing you can do to find play because the few people that WILL approach you when you're dead silent probably won't be worth giving the time of day
>Nobody uses the forums - I can guarantee nobody would see your post if you didn't have it linked on the profile
>Well-written, purposeful customs are more effective and alluring than things like sample posts
>Stats, inventory, and your insistence on establishing a set timeline through universal century typically do more harm than good because few if any people are going to know how or care to put that sort of data to use, they're just going to think you're autistic. That sort of thing is really only useful as flavor in something like an inline or another purely aesthetic display thing
tl;dr: Your writing is great, but your profile isn't pretty enough for most people to even get that far. People can't find you reliably if you don't advertise in chat or approach (but in doing so, don't be afraid to be vocal about your preference for notes). You have a little leeway as a female character, but you're still fighting an uphill battle since she belongs to a niche that doesn't have a stellar reputation on the site.

This has actually given me the idea to separate out the race details and setting lore into their own profiles, although I'm not sure how best to organize the lot; I prefer to make small, independent settings that leave room for development instead of trying to cram everything into one world, so I'll either end up with profile spam or a singularly enormous one. Is this a bad idea in general? I've seen profiles for settings, so I assume it's not unheard of to do so.

I can't help you with the setting thing because I have limited experience with world-building F-List, but for chat I can tell you to just bee yourself :)
And by that I mean don't worry about your character being niche because most sane people into sizeplay know the associated room is a malignant cesspit and avoid it. Just join rooms relevant to your general kink/setting interests, maybe consider laidback game-type rooms like "Fuck, Marry Kill," and the visibility will help people find you. I'd particularly emphasize that (while it varies person to person) you don't HAVE to be sexually compatible for bantz.
I'll also warn that as an OC you might have to be your own advocate and initiate contact. If nobody worth your time is giving an opening or there's no active conversation that you can join in on, make one yourself, but if it's IC at least try to be purposeful. /me flops or /me rolls around is pointless faggotry that doesn't make anyone able nor willing to interact with you, but having a proper/mini 'open starter' for people to respond to can help. Don't force it if nobody is biting though, obviously.
And for ads, the only advice I can really give regardless of how many rooms you post it in is 'be clear about what you want.' Not too hyper-specific, there's a balance, but to steal a sloppy and more sex-driven example I made in QTDDTOT a little while ago, "Bubble-butt femboy looking for fun!" is considerably worse than, say, "Bubble-butt femboy looking for humanoids for orientation play in a high fantasy setting!".
