NASHVILLE – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) today announced the reappointment of William (“Bill”) H. Freeman to its Board of Commissioners. Nashville's Temple Code Unveiled

It is an impressive fact that Nashville, Tennessee, my home, is the only city in the world that has reinterpretations of two mythic temples from antiquity. Both are among the finest in existence.

One temple is the “Queen of Heaven” Athena’s Parthenon “Virgin-temple”, 438 B.C., Athens, Greece.

The other is a $55 million 2,200-foot long rod laid out and growing on 19 acres. By a masterstroke of synchronicity, it is patterned like the world axis, Mount Meru, the cosmic pillar or axis at the center of the world ascended by Buddha and known throughout the ages as the model for all Trees of Life.

Though constructed one hundred years apart these temples belong together. Their myths and symbols are interconnected. They’re both ceremonial centers, power points of peace and community gathering that could play an essential role in the drama of our world in coming years.

TALISMANS

Myths require reinterpretation to stay alive. Athena and the Cosmic Axis are alive and well in Music City. There may be a very provocative reason for this.

In their book Talisman: Sacred Cities, Secret Faith Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval soundly document that the architecture of great cities such as Paris and Washington DC are secretly being used by Hermeticists, Masons and alchemists to transmit hidden knowledge from antiquity. They endowed these cities with spiritual power through architecture.

The designers of these ‘light centers’ (my term) used what the French alchemist Schwaller De Lubicz called “the Symbolique”, the use of mystical architecture as a means of knowledge transmission. Books, these craftsmen know, can be burned. Knowledge encoded in the shapes (geometry) and symbols of various mystical buildings and other constructions can stand for centuries.

It’s a way of keeping myths alive and hiding secrets in plain sight that counts on the total blindness of the average individual to the esoteric language of symbols.

Hermes conducts a soul with his rod

Hancock and Bauval claim the secrets these ‘illumined ones’ are transmitting originated with Hermes, the Greek name for the legendary instructor, prophet and scribe deified by the Egyptians as the god Thoth and known to the Hebrews as Enoch, who was “snatched” into heaven by a whirlwind and (star) walked with God. The far older Sumerians called him Lord Enki, the god of smithcraft and alchemy, who led the Anunnaki, the ‘fifty gods who came to earth from heaven’. Z. Sitchin says he was the model for the Serpent of Wisdom of Genesis and is considered the bearer of mystic secrets.

As I will show, Nashville’s talismans have deep connections to Enki and the Anunnaki. They clearly point to Nashville’s Hermetic nature.

In fact, understood in its spiritual sense Nashville may be the ultimate Hermetic city light center.

Hermes stands tall atop Nashville’s Union Station Hotel

THE VIRGIN’S TEMPLE

Nashville is called “the Athens of the South.” Her life-size copy of the Parthenon was constructed in 1897 to celebrate Tennessee’s Centennial and rebuilt in the 1920s. Inside is sculptor Alan LeQuire’s masterpiece commissioned in 1982, a 41-foot, 10-inch tall statue of the lost Athena-Parthenos. She’s the tallest indoor sculpture in the Western world.

Considered to be the Serpent’s Eve reborn and exalted after the Deluge, the immortal Athena stands with her holy rod of power and spear in her hand. Her giant serpent rises at her feet, the protector of the acropolis ‘place of secrets’ at Athens.

The Parthenon-Nashville is a duplicate of Athena’s temple

In Greek myth the god of smithcraft-alchemy, Hephaestus (the Sumerian Enki), crafted this rod for Athena. The East Frieze on Athena’s Parthenon, it is claimed, contained all the elements of Plato’s Atlantis texts and suggests that the Parthenon was built to commemorate both Athena and Hephaestus Enki, since they both championed the Athenians in the epic War between Athens and Atlantis.

Clothed in leaves of 23.75-karat gold leaf in 2002, Nashville’s golden goddess replicates what historians believe the original statue of Athena looked like. She is stunning, even bedazzling to behold (when was the last time you stood in front of so much gold?). It’s breathtaking when they open the 8 ton bronze doors to her temple and let the Sun shine in.

Significantly, Athena beams at a 2,200-foot long ‘rod’ that has been growing since 1996 in front of the north slope of the tiered mound upon which sits the State Capitol, a few miles away.

Known as the Bicentennial Capitol Mall (a park, not a shopping mall), its designers say this rod was “forged to honor the Capitol and exalt all that is Tennessee.” (This is an interesting choice of words considering Hephaestus also forged Athena’s rod.)

The Capitol itself is a Greek Revival ‘temple of democracy’. A mentor of Thomas Jefferson, the famed Philadelphia architect William Strickland, designed this acropolis in 1845. He also produced Nashville’s Egyptianesque First Presbyterian Church, whose façade duplicates Horus’s temple at Edfu.

When the Mall was opened it was proclaimed the sister complex to the National Mall in Washington DC, a fact which sends Masonic bells ringing for some.

No one noticed the uncanny similarity of its design to a second century drawing of Enki’s mystical Meru rod. Both designs feature a circular platform upon which sits a rod topped by a triangular shape (∆ and respectively). While Kem Hinton, the architect who led the Mall’s design team, told me he does not see a similarity in the designs, it is plainly evident to many with ‘untrained’ eyes.

As I discussed in Atlantis Rising #50 (below images), the Meru diagram is a mandala, a mnemonic device, designed to guide the neophyte into meditation and communion ∆.

The Meru rod resembles an antenna because that’s what Meru myth says it was. It is claimed that the immortals or the Great Spirit (symbolized in Judaism by a Serpent of Wisdom) lived at Meru because of the protecting power of the healing universal life force energy – the Key of Life – emitted (or transmitted) by Meru.

The triangular apex at the top of the pillar symbolizes Shambhala, the dwelling of the gods.

Meru is symbolic of the antenna-like beacon or link the Dur~An~Ki Sitchin says was used by the Anunnaki for sending messages heavenward and as a ceremonial center for state visits of Anu, Enki’s father, to Su-Meru.

THE HOLY GRAIL IN NASHVILLE

As I tell in my book City of Peace, I chanced upon Nashville’s Mall-Meru cross in 1999 while researching FDRs quest for the secrets of Jesus in Shambhala, the apex of Meru, in Mongolia in 1934.

I followed a clue in a coded letter sent by Henry A. Wallace, FDR’s Secretary of Agriculture and partner in this ‘Grail quest’, to the famed guru Nicholas Roerich, the third ‘wise man’ in this trinity. It suggested that Nashville, TN was a possible repository for the results of their investigation.

Room 641A is a telecommunication interception facility operated by AT&T for the U.S. National Security Agency, as part of its warrantless surveillance program as authorized by the Patriot Act. The facility commenced operations in 2003 and its purpose was publicly revealed in 2006.[1][2]

Description

Room 641A is located in the SBC Communications building at 611 Folsom Street, San Francisco,three floors of which were occupied by AT&T before SBC purchased AT&T.[1] The room was referred to in internal AT&T documents as the SG3 [Study Group 3] Secure Room.

The room measures about 24 by 48 feet (7.3 by 14.6 m) and contains several racks of equipment, including a Narus STA 6400, a device designed to intercept and analyze Internet communications at very high speeds.[1] It is fed by fiber optic lines from beam splitters installed in fiber optic trunks carrying Internet backbone traffic.[3] In the analysis of J. Scott Marcus, a former CTO for GTE and a former adviser to the Federal Communications Commission, it has access to all Internet traffic that passes through the building, and therefore "the capability to enable surveillance and analysis of internet content on a massive scale, including both overseas and purely domestic traffic."[4]

The existence of the room was revealed by former AT&T technician Mark Klein and was the subject of a 2006 class action lawsuit by the Electronic Frontier Foundation against AT&T.[5] Klein claims he was told that similar black rooms are operated at other facilities around the country.[6]

Room 641A and the controversies surrounding it were subjects of an episode of Frontline,[7] the current affairs documentary program on PBS. It was originally broadcast on May 15, 2007. It was also featured on PBS's NOW on March 14, 2008. The room was also covered in the PBS Nova episode "The Spy Factory".

There’s been a huge amount of concern this year about the security implications of technology that originates in China or is owned by Chinese companies. That was, after all, at the heart of the fight by the Trump Administration to ban the popular social networking app TikTok, or at least to force a sale of it. The U.S. government has also cracked down on the manufacturers Huawei and ZTE, and the omnibus/coronavirus rescue package recently passed by Congress even included $1.9 billion to help companies remove equipment from those two companies.

Recently, a pair of security researchers raised the alarm about another Chinese tech company, the TV manufacturer TCL, which makes some of the most popular televisions available in the U.S.

The website of the researcher and hacker known as Sick Codes, in a blog post in November, pointed out “extraordinary vulnerabilities” in TCL’s Android TVs.

“Near the end of September, while conducting research into low-end Android boxes, I came across a number of serious flaws in the way in which these devices were being designed,” the post said.

“Without delving into the nuances of each device, all of the Smart TV products are Android-based.”

The researcher discovered that they could easily access the entire file system of the devices.

“Why would an Android device need a web server running on a non-standard port?” he asked.

“What kind of manufacturer publishes the whole file system of a device?”

Sick Codes was later joined in his work by another researcher named John Jackson, and in October the two of them both notified TCL which, after a delay in response, said they would patch the issue.

In an interview with Tom’s Guide, Sick Codes sent a URL that provided “full access to the file system of a TCL smart TV in Zambia,” and the writer was able to browse the directories of that person’s TV.

And in another interview with Security Ledger, Sick Codes said that “anybody on an adjacent network can browse the TV’s file system and download any file they want.”

Earlier today, the Hill reported the Senate Republicans say Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will reach out to Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville (Ala.) in an attempt to avoid a nasty fight next month over certifying the results of the Electoral College.

Senate Republican Whip John Thune (S.D.) told the Hill that GOP leaders will tell Tuberville that voting to suspend the tally of the Electoral College vote next month is pointless and politically damaging.

“Ultimately every senator will have to make their own decision about that but I think there will be people, yeah, reaching out to him just to kind of find out” what he’s going to do, Thune said of Tuberville’s intentions about the Electoral College tally on Jan. 6.

Ali Alexander, one of the leaders of the #StopTheSteal movement, a group dedicated to fighting for President Trump, fired back at Thune’s statements.

In a tweet, Alexander wrote, “Well, let me break some news. StopTheStealUS has another US Senator who will join” in objecting to Joe Biden’s electoral count on January 6, 2021.

The coronavirus cases on lower Broadway may have been so low that the mayor’s office and the Metro Health Department decided to keep it secret.

Emails between the mayor’s senior advisor and the health department reveal only a partial picture. But what they reveal is disturbing.

The discussion involves the low number of coronavirus cases emerging from bars and restaurants and how to handle that.

And most disturbingly, how to keep it from the public.

On June 30th, contact tracing was given a small view of coronavirus clusters. Construction and nursing homes were found to be causing problems with more than a thousand cases traced to each category, but bars and restaurants reported just 22 cases.

Leslie Waller from the health department asks, “This isn’t going to be publicly released, right? Just info for Mayor’s Office?"

“Correct, not for public consumption,” writes senior advisor Benjamin Eagles.

A month later, the health department was asked point blank about the rumor there are only 80 cases traced to bars and restaurants.

Reporter Nate Rau asks, “The figure you gave of 'more than 80' does lead to a natural question: If there have been over 20,000 positive cases of COVID-19 in Davidson and only 80 or so are traced to restaurants and bars, doesn’t that mean restaurants and bars aren’t a very big problem?"

Health department official Brian Todd asked five health department officials, "Please advise how you recommend I respond. "

“My two cents. We have certainly refused to give counts per bar because those numbers are low per site.

We could still release the total though, and then a response to the over 80 could be because that number is increasing all the time and we don’t want to say a specific number."

Neither the health department nor the mayor’s office would confirm the authenticity of the emails but councilmember Steve Glover had a Metro staff attorney inquire. Here’s the official answer:

“I was able to get verification from the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Health that these emails are real,” the staff attorney answered.

Glover says this is Metro Nashville orchestrating a cover up.

"They are fabricating information," Glover said. "They’ve blown there entire credibility Dennis. Its gone, I don’t trust a thing they say going forward …nothing."

Glover says he has been contacted by an endless stream of downtown bartenders, waitresses and restaurant owners asking why would officials not release these numbers?

"We raised taxes 34 percent and put hundreds literally thousands of people out of work that are now worried about losing their homes, their apartments…and we did it on bogus data. That should be illegal," Glover said.

Again, FOX 17 News wasn't told by the mayor’s office this wasn’t true. We were told to file a freedom of information act request.

Which allows us now to ask the question, why are you keeping this from us? Why would you even want to? Its just the real numbers and what could possibly be an honorable motive?

Nashville’s 'Batman Building' to close for cleaning in response to coronavirus concerns

One of Nashville’s most prominent skyscrapers, colloquially known as the “Batman Building” for its ear-like pointed towers, partially closed on Monday due to fears over coronavirus.

Flyers posted on the doors of the AT&T building said the building would be closed for a “thorough cleaning.” On Monday morning, cleaning staff and security guards could be seen in an otherwise empty lobby. No one in the lobby would provide comment.

Stephen Kulinski, managing director of CBRE Property Management, said the whole building was never fully closed on Monday, but that portions were closed so they could be cleaned with an anti-viral solution. People who worked in the building were still allowed to come inside, but some employers told their workers to stay home.

Kulinski said the building should resume normal operations on Tuesday, but some businesses may still tell their employees to stay home as a precaution.

Brian Todd, a spokesman for the Nashville Metro Health Department, said Monday the city had only one presumptive case of coronavirus, previously announced on Sunday, and stressed that city officials did not close the building.

The closure comes one day after the first case of coronavirus was detected in Nashville. City health officials announced Sunday that an adult woman with the virus was cooperating with a voluntary isolation at her home with mild symptoms. City and state health officials are identifying other people she may have had contact with and are still attempting to determine the origins of her infection.

Casinos, cruises and Costco: How federal workers abuse their travel credit cards

Recent $40,000 shopping spree by DOT employee who never went on official travel mirrors years of similar abuses seen government-wide.

A U.S. Transportation Department employee went on a recent $2,500 shopping spree, using a government credit card reserved for official travel to buy items at a local Costco and other stores and restaurants.

Remarkably, the transactions initially went undetected even though they occurred at stores near the worker's home, not on travel, and while the worker was on vacation.

The DOT's internal watchdog, the inspector general, told the story of the shopping spree in an investigative report earlier this month.

"The Federal Travel Regulation states that travelers may not use travel cards for personal reasons while on official travel," the report said. "Contrary to this regulation, we found that a TCH (Travel Card Holder) made an unauthorized $217 purchase at a Costco warehouse located near their residence.

"We also reviewed this TCH's transactions in the universe and identified $2,351 in additional unauthorized purchases at restaurants and grocery stores that were located in close proximity to the TCH's residence. These purchases occurred before the TCH's authorized trip and while they were on break."

The episode was hardly isolated. The IG estimated nearly 10% of all charges made on DOT employees' travel credit cards were improper.

"We found that TCHs did not follow prescribed policies and procedures for an estimated $18.6 million in purchases of a universe totaling $193.6 million,” the report concluded.

While the shopping spree by the vacationing employee was shocking, it wasn't even the worst example uncovered by the DOT inspector general investigators.

Another employee ran up about $40,000 in charges on a government credit card — including for a cruise — without ever traveling for official business.

"We found a TCH without authorized official travel who made personal purchases on their travel card. These purchases — totaling approximately $40,000 — included payments for cruises, for airline tickets, to a utility company, and at a supermarket in close proximity to the TCH's residence," the report lamented.

The IG cited widespread weaknesses in the Transportation Department's oversight of travel cards, including an inability to monitor charges near employees' homes or to flag expenses that did not occur around the time of official trips.

"DOT's controls are not sufficient to prevent or detect inappropriate use of travel cards," the report concluded. "… We identified internal control weaknesses in multiple areas within DOT's travel card program."

Remarkably, many of the problems that surfaced in the December report were first flagged in a 2014 audit of the same travel card program. "Excessive or unauthorized cash advances and instances of travel card misuse are going undetected because DOT lacks robust internal controls to prevent these transactions," that report noted.
