Lin Qi, producer on Game of Thrones creators' Netflix series, dies after suspected poisoning
Lin Qi, chairman and CEO of the Chinese entertainment company Yoozoo Group and a producer on Netflix's upcoming series The Three-Body Problem, has died after allegedly being poisoned on Dec. 16. He was 39.
Yoozoo Group confirmed that Lin died on Christmas Day after having been hospitalized about a week earlier. Police in Shanghai are currently investigating his death, and have apprehended a suspect surnamed Xu, who Chinese media outlets have identified as Lin's colleague at Yoozoo, Xu Yao. Local reports also allege that a dispute among Yoozoo executives preceded Lin's death.
Lin founded Yoozoo in 2009 and helped steer its successful transition from producing online games to mobile games. In a statement Friday, the company said, “The board of directors gives its highest respects to the chairman for his contributions to the firm,” and added that executives and employees felt “deep grief and mourning, and send their sincere condolences to the family.”

But these States – in failing to obey Congressional deadlines – have flagrantly attempted to preempt federal law. This is certainly prohibited, and this is why the late election results are void.

That at&t building mostly doesn't care. They also seem to be going with the "disgruntled ex employee" bullshit theory.. any disgruntled ex employee would be well aware of how over-engineered at&t's facilities are.
On the other hand if you had access to building drawings and specifications for at&t's hardened buildings (many of which are still classified) you'd know exactly where to drop the bomb, and how much bomb you'd need to do the job.
at&t's building performed precisely as designed.
All those windows around the first floor were there for over-pressure relief. Let the blast travel through the first floor mostly uninterrupted; same idea they use in the NORAD tunnels. A bigass steel door at right angles to the tunnel to keep the blast out as it goes by uninterrupted.
A surface explosion simply wouldn't do the job, they had to drop that fucker down a stairwell, and that's exactly what they did.
The evacuation announcement was just hearts and minds bullshit for the benefit of the plane pilot and other military personnel who would have probably mutinied if they knew they were dropping ordinance on US soil in a city and there would be civilian casualties.

Gun-buying activity shattered records in the U.S. this year, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation recording both the highest number of background checks in its history and the highest increase of checks year-over-year in over two decades.
Last month was the busiest November on record for FBI background checks in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, according to the Bureau's month-by-month data. Background checks were up 40% from the prior November, with over 3.6 million checks performed throughout the month.
That number would be remarkable during any other year. Only one other month in NICS history prior to this year, December 2015, has broken three million. Yet November was only the fourth-busiest month for background checks during 2020 overall. In June, the FBI recorded 3,931,607 total checks, nearly topping 4,000,000 checks in a month for the first time and handily beating the previous monthly record of 3,740,688 checks set in March.
The June record-breaker came amid widespread rioting, violence and unrest throughout the country driven by Black Lives Matter-led protests following the death in late May of black Minneapolis resident George Floyd while in the custody of police.
Escalating murder rates in cities nationwide also likely played a role, with experts pointing to the fallout from COVID lockdowns, economic shocks and crime policies as possible explanations for the rising number of killings.
Overall, the FBI has recorded 35,758,249 background checks so far this year, a provisional number that is already 26% higher than last year's total of nearly 28,400,000. That's the second-highest percentage increase in the 21-year history of the NICS. (The only larger increase came in 2000, the first full year of the program's existence, when checks increased by nearly 1,000% as the system became fully incorporated into the U.S. gun economy.)
That number is certain to grow even larger: The present total of checks in 2020 does not include December's numbers. Historical data indicate that December's checks tend to be elevated relative to the rest of the year.
Though each individual background check does not necessarily represent an individual buyer (many gun-buyers will purchase several guns in a year, while many others will fail their background check), the gun industry has reported significant first-time customer activity this year.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation reported in June that gun retailers estimated 40% of their sales during the first four months of the year went to first-time gun owners, and that nearly half of those first-time buyers were women, both notable upticks.
"The main purchase driver among the group was personal protection, followed by target shooting and hunting," the group said.
Peyton Galanti, a spokeswoman for Colonial Shooting Academy in Richmond, Va., said her organization has observed similar activity.
"Gun sales have been high and steady this entire year, even during the [COVID-19] shutdown," she said, claiming that the market has been driven by "first-time gun buyers" and "people who never thought they'd own a gun."
"Our classes have been sold out months ahead and, until about this week, range time has also been way up all year," she said.
Mark Fiacable with the digital retailer Florida Gun Site echoed those remarks, stating that the website had seen a "big increase" in activity this year.
High gun-buying and gun-owning activity has even been observed in areas of the country where it has historically been low. The New York Post this week reported that gun-permit applications in New York City were up threefold since March relative to last year, though the approval rate of those applications was significantly lower both in relative and absolute terms.
The NYPD approved applications at a rate of 14% this year compared to 70% last year, the Post reported, signing off on just 1,087 applications compared to 1,778 last year. New York City is famous within gun circles for its notably restrictive gun ownership policies, a distinction it shares with numerous other large cities nationwide.

It would only take a small number of Democrats being exposed to COVID-19 prior to the vote for Pelosi to potentially be in trouble.
“COVID is a wild card,” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.). “If we have sick members who cannot come back, and we only have a four-vote majority, it throws our entire advent of the 117th Congress in peril — a smooth advent.”
Fifty-six percent of voters think Pelosi should not be reelected as speaker. Only 31 percent of voters support her.
Rep. John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) believes it’s a real possibility that Republicans could outnumber Democrats for the vote, and the top Republican in the House, Kevin McCarthy, could be elected speaker.
“Let’s say, just theoretically, we had six or eight people out with COVID and the Republicans have none. They probably could elect McCarthy,” Yarmuth told The Hill.
A House Democrat and Pelosi ally who spoke anonymously with The Hill doesn’t deny that a COVID outbreak could sink Pelosi’s chances.

A recent CBS This Morning segment insisted that too many emails – “little” messages such as “thank you” and “got it” – would contribute to global warming.
Speaking on Wednesday, correspondent Mark Phillips attempted to downplay the fact that COVID-19 would lead to a decrease in global carbon emissions. He focuses on how emails could offset the saved carbon emissions from less flying, driving, and commuting as a result of COVID-19 and lockdowns.
Phillips, however, emphasizes that humans ought to “hold the smugness.” “Working from home is not cost-free, and the more of us who do it, the more environmentally expensive it becomes,” he adds.
Phillips even slams “little texts” such as “thank you” and “got it”:
“Every e-mail and text, especially the unnecessary little ones — every “thank you” and “got it,” — every time we hit send or download or stream or Zoom, they all require power. Somewhere massive banks of computers are storing and processing that data, sucking up enormous amounts of electrical energy to do it. The cloud doesn’t so much have a silver lining as a carbon one.”
Attacking emails once again, he continues to cite a study about how “if everyone in Britain sent one less “thank you” e-mail a day, the carbon saving would be like taking about three and a half thousand cars off the road”:
“Think about it: Every e-mail we send not only requires electricity to write — as it travels across the internet and gets stored and transferred from one megaserver to another, gobbling up energy along the way. Then, if it gets read, it sucks up even more power. An e-mail may use just five percent of the power needed to deliver a paper letter, but we send and receive gazillions of them. Someone here has actually done the math and figured that if everyone in Britain sent one less “thank you” e-mail a day, the carbon saving would be like taking about three and a half thousand cars off the road. It’s just a rough calculation, but the principle is accurate.”

Developers of Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine Tied to UK Eugenics Movement
The developers of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine have previously undisclosed ties to the re-named British Eugenics Society as well as other Eugenics-linked institutions like the Wellcome Trust.
On April 30th, AstraZeneca and Oxford University announced a “landmark agreement” for the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. The agreement involves AstraZeneca overseeing aspects of the development as well as manufacturing and distribution while the Oxford side, via the Jenner Institute and Oxford Vaccine Group, researched and developed the vaccine. Less than a month after this agreement was reached, the Oxford-AstraZeneca partnership was awarded a contract from the US government as part of Operation Warp Speed, the public-private COVID-19 vaccination effort dominated by the US military and US intelligence.
Though the partnership was announced in April, Oxford’s Jenner Institute had already begun developing the COVID-19 vaccine months before, in mid-January. According to a recent BBC report, it was in January that the Jenner Institute first became aware of how serious the pandemic would soon become, when Professor Andrew Pollard, who works for both the Jenner Institute and heads the Oxford Vaccine Group, “shared a taxi with a modeler who worked for the UK’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies.” During the taxi ride, “the scientist told him data suggested there was going to be a pandemic not unlike the 1918 flu.” Due to this sole encounter, we are told, the Jenner Institute then began to pour millions into the early development of a vaccine for COVID-19 well before the scope of the crisis was clear.
For much of 2020, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine was treated as an early front-runner, though its lead would later be marred by scandals related to its clinical trials, including the death of participants, sudden trial pauses, the use of a problematic “placebo” with its own host of side effects and the “unintentional” mis-dosing of some participants that skewed its self-reported efficacy rate.
The significant issues that emerged during trials have provoked little concern from the vaccine’s two lead developers, despite critical attention from even mainstream media of its complications. The lead developer of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, Adrian Hill, told NBC on December 9th that the experimental vaccine should be approved and distributed to the public before the conclusion of the safety trials, saying,”to wait for the end of the trial would be the middle of next year. That’s too late, this vaccine is effective, available at large scale and easily deployed.”
Sarah Gilbert, the other lead researcher on the vaccine, seemed to believe that pre-mature safety approval was likely, telling the BBC on December 13 that the chances of rolling out the vaccine by the end of the year are “pretty high.” Now, the UK is expected to approve the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine shortly after Christmas, with India also set to approve the vaccine next week.
While the controversies surrounding the vaccine’s trials did ultimately undermine its previous frontrunner status, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine remains heavily promoted as the vaccine of choice for the developing world, as it is cheaper and has much less complicated storage requirement than its main competitors, Pfizer and Moderna.

The contaminated blood scandal which left tens of thousands of NHS patients infected with hepatitis C and HIV will turn out to be a disaster ‘bigger than Hillsborough’, a senior figure has claimed.
Dame Denise Platt, a council member of the General Medical Council, likened the issue to the 1989 stadium crush that claimed 96 lives and was ultimately found to be due to police negligence, after years of cover-up.
Her comments were disclosed in internal emails at the GMC - an independent public body that maintains the official register of medical practitioners in the UK.

How many Americans really died FROM the China coronavirus?
On Christmas Day the government’s television channel, PBS, reported on the the China coronavirus first thing. This is all they talk about but they never mention China, they label the pandemic COVID-19:
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made the announcement last night to help prevent the spread of new highly contagious COVID variants in Britain. That comes as the U.S. death toll surpassed 330,000. And hospitalizations nationwide hit a new record high yesterday, more than 120,000.
But this reporting is questionable. We reported in August that the CDC admits that only 6% of all deaths in the US classified as Coronavirus deaths actually died from the China Coronavirus alone.
Yes, this was from the CDC’s own reporting. So today it looks like less than 20,000 deaths in the US (330,000 x 6% = 19,800) over the past year have actually been due to the coronavirus only. The remainder of the deaths reported by the CDC include accidents, overdoses, suicides and those presumed to have had the coronavirus upon their death.
So basically many local and state governments are shutting down their local businesses and institutions due to over-inflated statistics regarding the number of Americans who died from this China oriented coronavirus.

The Fix Is In: Collusion Deal Between USPS & Civil Rights Group For Georgia Ballots Approved
A federal judge on Dec.24 approved of a deal struck between the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and civil rights organizations that would treat absentee ballots as express mail before Georgia’s crucial runoff election on Jan. 5. This order essentially allows the expediting of ballots - bypassing checkers and leaves the ballots ripe for Fraud - yet again. It was billed as fix, but instead it ensures fraudulent ballots can enter the system.
The group agreed to handle ballots as if they were expressing mail if they were still in a processing plant in the three days before the election, according to the court documents.
This means that mail-in ballots would be passed the next day. Additionally, ballots being sent from a New York printer to the state would be fast-tracked, and Georgia postal departments will regularly sweep for undelivered ballots until the Jan. 5 election to guarantee no ballots are misplaced.
In Atlanta, the USPS agreed to skip the processing plants and immediately transfer the ballots to the Georgia Board of Elections (BOE). For days on which the Postal Service is not working or the BOE is not open, ballots will be transferred the next day that both the Postal Service and the BOE are open.
Atlanta has listed some of the worst mail services in the South. Only 80.4 percent of the over 150,000 mail ballots in Atlanta that have been processed were passed on time, although there are some who claim that rate could be closer to 97 percent.
The agreement on ballot processing is an outcome of requests from groups like the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Vote Forward and marks a vital step for the Postal Service and its Justice Department lawyers in a case that started in August.
The parties presented the agreement to the court late Wednesday in an attempt
to “avoid the cost and burden of further litigation between now and the Georgia Runoff Elections.”
