It’s important to pay close attention to the context of Jesus’ statement about this “unpardonable sin.” He was speaking specifically about the grumblings of the scribes and Pharisees. After witnessing the power of Christ displayed in the healing of a demon-possessed man, these religious leaders made comments like, “He has Beelzebub,” or “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons” (see Matthew 12:22-24; Mark 3:22).

In effect, the scribes and Pharisees were rejecting the grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ. They were rejecting it by attributing Jesus’ works to the power of the devil. They weren’t just doubting or even denying the truth. They were maliciously contradicting what they had witnessed with their own eyes. For selfish reasons of their own, they were pretending not to understand something they really did understand. The writer to the Hebrews might have been thinking of them when he spoke about those who have “trampled the Son of God underfoot … and insulted the Spirit of grace” (Hebrews 10:29). Their proud and high-minded attitude was exactly the opposite of yours.

The sin of “blaspheming the Holy Spirit,” then, is essentially the sin of rejecting Christ.

What’s more, the “unpardonable” nature of this sin has less to do with punishment than it does with the hardening effect of the sin itself. By persistently rejecting God’s free gift of salvation in Jesus, the sinner sears his conscience and stiffens his neck. Eventually he gets to the place where genuine repentance is no longer possible. It would be fair to say that this stubborn and unrepentant attitude is the chief mark of true “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.” That’s why we feel certain that people like you cannot possibly be guilty of this offense. If you’re afraid that you may have offended God without realizing it, it’s obvious that your heart is in the right place.

Alright so, imagine that you were never fortunate enough to get an education and you lived your whole life in sin, up to the point in time when you thought it would be a good idea to kill yourself because that is just how stupid you were. Listen up normies. Am about to share another example of how deep the corruption lies.

SonAnon as a civilian dependent had the honor and privilege of learning Mandarin Chinese as a student at the Defense Language Institute (DLI) at the Presidio of Monterey. SonAnon graduated with good marks and 3/2 score. SonAnon then, after graduation, went to live in Beijing for a year for a marketing company that facilitated American and European companies that wanted to do business in China. He was the only Westerner in his office, and it was a total immersion experience. He even lived in a Chinese huotang (?Sp) instead of renting an apartment in the Embassy district where most of the Westerners live. When he came back the US, his Chinese was EXCELLENT - damn near "Native Fluency" level. SonAnon speaks alot of languages and is very linguistically gifted. SonAnon did a summer fellowship at Harvard working on a linguistics project reconstructing a dead language.

Fast forward a few months - FBI in Chinatown, DC has a "hot fill/critical billet" for a Chinese speaker for their gangs unit. SonAnon applies. Can't even get an acknowledgement of his application, let alone an interview. Note that SonAnon has a degree from DLI, conferred by the US Congress as a DoS/DoD certified linguist and translator. I believe that DLI is the only institution that has their degrees granted by Congress. It's pretty fricking cool.

Anyways, FBI finally and grudgingly grants him an interview. He goes to the Chinatown office. NO ONE IN THE OFFICE SPEAKS CHINESE. They make him do the exact same language test he did to graduate DLI, except that they have theirs "scored in house".

SonAnon had a 3/2 after graduating DLI and then spent a year totally immersed in Beijing China. FBI came back and told him his score was "barely 1/1/" and he had "no fluency" in Chinese.

A seat at DLI is approximately $250K. It is a very intensive school. The taxpayers paid for his education. He wanted to give back to this country, and to use his skills for good. The FBI lied and said he had "no fluency" in Chinese. We later found out from an FBI friend that they were holding that job open for an African-American candidate. Except that there are no African-American candidates that can pass the Mandarin course. (Several have tried and have been recycled and still can't graduate).

So under the Obama regime, they would rather "hold" a job for a politically connected AA rather than fill the billet with a qualified candidate, and outright lied to refuse to hire someone who was qualified.

This is the current state of affairs in the US.

Every since HR person in every single Federal Agency is an Obama hookup or an Obama sympathizer, ALL OF THEM, and they all need to be fired otherwise nothing will change.

This is the shit they do. You don't think that the FBI intelligence operations can't use a DLI trained Mandarin linguist with experience from living in Beijing? Ooops, sorry, he's the wrong color, wrong gender and registered to vote with the wrong political party. So sorry!

The Kremlin’s targeting of George Soros and his organization carries echoes of 2016, when the GRU dumped 2,500 files stolen from the Open Society Foundations.

Last month Microsoft quietly seized a new batch of 10 deceptive domain names the company says were set up by the hackers known as Fancy Bear, the group intelligence officials and independent analysts have long attributed to Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate, the GRU. Those web addresses imitate genuine domains used for Microsoft services like Sharepoint, an unmistakable sign that they were intended for use in phishing attacks, in which a victim is tricked into typing their password into a fake login page.

One domain targets a Singapore-based investment firm, and another references the Berlin anti-corruption organization Transparency International, which Russia has targeted before. Others are generic or ambiguous in their targeting. But one seized domain, soros-my-sharepoint[.]com, jumps out as a clear reference to Soros, a past GRU target from Russia’s 2016 election interference.

An additional four phishing domains registered in the same time frame appear to target Soros’ Open Society Foundations, said Kyle Ehmke, an intelligence researcher at the Arlington, Virginia-based cybersecurity firm ThreatConnect. Those domains haven’t been seized and ThreatConnect hasn’t found enough evidence to definitively link them to the Russian hackers, said Ehmke.

The Kremlin’s targeting of Soros and his organization carries echoes of 2016, when the GRU dumped 2,500 files stolen from the Open Society Foundations for the debut of “DC Leaks”, the fake leak site the spies created for their 2016 election interference campaign.

“SOROS INTERNAL FILES – BIG DATA”, the site announced at the time.

Some of the stolen files were reportedly altered to create the appearance that Soros was secretly financing Russian opposition candidates, making the leak politically useful to Vladmir Putin. More importantly, the Soros dump earned DC Leaks instant credibility in American right-wing circles, where the 88-year-old Hungarian-American philanthropist plays the role of villainous global puppet-master in countless conspiracy theories.

Russia’s Internet Research Agency—the so-called “troll farm, later indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller—pushed the same trope on its Facebook and Instagram feeds in the run-up to election day. One meme featured a close-up of Soros against a backdrop of anti-Trump picketers. “No lives matter for those who sponsoring [sic] anti Trump protests,” the caption read. Another imagined Soros confronting the late Senator John McCain. “Hey Johnny, I’m paying you a fortune. I don’t care how much cancer you have, get back to DC and backstab Trump.”

The Soros targeting comes in the wave of what one expert describes as a fresh wave of Fancy Bear attempts against political nonprofits in the U.S. that ran from last December to March or April of this year, using similar tactics to the mass phishing campaign that famously ensnared Hillary Clinton’s campaign chief in 2016.

“It’s a similar type of activity to what hit Podesta,” said Robert Johnston, the former Marine Corp captain who investigated the 2016 DNC breach, and now heads the financial cybersecurity firm Adlumin. “These were against political organizations and NGOs. The FBI has reached out to of bunch of them.”

Meet 'Salus' - The Pentagon's New COVID-Hotspot, Panic-Buying Predicting AI

A new predictive technology developed by the Pentagon can anticipate product shortages could help military personnel move supplies to retailers or hospitals with geographical precision before a shortage develops during a public health crisis.

The Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) developed the new prototype artificial intelligence tool that predicts and addresses shortages of food, water, medicine, and other essential goods in a geographical region during crisis times. "You have to be looking a little in the future," said Nand Mulchandani, chief technical officer at the JAIC, who recently spoke with Defense One.

Called Salus, the new tool combines data from the Census Bureau, Medicare, hospitals, and can forecast community spreading of a virus in a geographical region, as well as pulling data from retailers and warehouses of product inventories, and develop a predictive model of where shortages could potentially be seen, right down to specific zip codes or even stores.

The military is working toward a "common view and a predictive capability to truly understand where the next problem sets are going to be and bringing to bear all of the logistical capability," said Mulchandani, who spoke with Roll Call in early April.

The new tool has already been field test with communication systems of Northern Command and National Guard, which are both supporting FEMA's efforts in combating the coronavirus spread.

Mulchandani told Defense One that the AI tool is flexible in determining different types of problems that could occur by altering the data that is piped in.

He said Salus was first tested by determining and developing a model of where shortages of ventilators, masks, and other medical supplies could be seen.

"The next question really was resource allocation like food," he said

It's a given that JAIC is working on a predictive model to determine where food shortages could develop because our reporting over the last month suggests shortages could start in May.

The tool gives the Pentagon and the government the ease of mind that during a public health emergency, supply disruptions could be addressed quickly and even preemptively. All in the effort to contain or completely mitigate the consequences of what disruptions can trigger, such as social unrest.

“I appreciate my colleagues working with me on this bill to ensure tech companies are using best business practices to prevent child exploitation online,” said Graham. “This bill is a major first step. For the first time, you will have to earn blanket liability protection when it comes to protecting minors. Our goal is to do this in a balanced way that doesn’t overly inhibit innovation, but forcibly deals with child exploitation.”

“The internet is infested with stomach-churning images of children who have been brutally assaulted and exploited, and who are forced to endure a lifetime of pain after these photographs and videos are circulated online,” said Blumenthal. “Simply put, tech companies need to do better. Tech companies have an extraordinary special safeguard against legal liability, but that unique protection comes with a responsibility. Companies that fail to comport with basic standards that protect children from exploitation have betrayed the public trust granted them by this special exemption. Online platforms’ near complete immunity from legal responsibility is a privilege – they have to earn it – and that’s what our bipartisan bill requires.”

“First Big Tech said it needed special immunity from human trafficking laws. Now it says it needs immunity from laws against child pornography. Enough. It’s time to stop putting the financial interests of Big Tech above protecting kids from predators. The EARN IT Act is another way to bring today’s internet law into the 21st century,” said Hawley.

“Technological advances have allowed the online exploitation of children to become much, much worse over recent years,” said Feinstein. “Companies must do more to combat this growing problem on their online platforms. Our bill would allow individuals to sue tech companies that don’t take proper steps to prevent online child exploitation, and it’s an important step to protect the most vulnerable among us.”

The EARN IT Act is supported by more than 70 groups, survivors and stakeholders, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Rights4Girls, and the National Center on Sexual Exploitation.
