Last week something extraordinary happened: Twitter briefly suspended the official account of the president of the United States, preventing him from posting until he deleted a tweet it said violated its rules. From merely hiding the president’s tweets, as it had done before, the company briefly stopped him from tweeting altogether.

Then, three days later, Yelp announced it would start formally flagging businesses accused of racism based solely on media reports.

Those two developments crystallized once again a key question that increasingly shadows our age: How can the growing power of social media companies coexist with the foundations of democracy? A democratic society rests upon an informed citizenry free to openly debate their shared future. The First Amendment guarantees this, enshrining both the right of the press to cover the unvarnished reality of daily events and the right of the public to consider all ideas, even those possibly deemed harmful by the majority of society. Pundits who laud social-media censorship would do well to remember that calls for the rights we hold dear today, including universal suffrage and civil rights, were once deemed the same kind of “harmful” speech that in today’s world would likely be banned by social media.

Social platforms were once viewed as a way to promote democracy to the world, granting unfettered freedom of expression and unfiltered access to information. Today they enforce ever-changing opaque rules of “acceptable speech” and define “truth.” Even more troubling, the journalism world is increasingly embracing Silicon Valley’s new role as Ministry of Truth rather than condemning it.

Emboldened by the media’s support for muzzling a president many news outlets despise, Silicon Valley companies have ramped up their censorship of elected officials. It was just five months ago that Twitter first visibly flagged an official statement of the U.S. government as “misleading.” With such censoring becoming almost routine now, it becomes front page news only when a social platform doesn’t censor the president.

Yet Twitter’s suspension of President Trump’s Twitter account last week crossed a new line. What would have happened if a national emergency such as an earthquake or coordinated terrorist or cyberattack had struck during this period, with the president ability to communicate with the American public compromised? Such disasters could have impaired Twitter’s ability to quickly restore his access, and it is unclear if they would have done so even in a national disaster.

EXCLUSIVE: House Republicans are calling on the FBI to reveal whether it was in possession of a laptop that reportedly contained emails by Hunter Biden during the impeachment of President Trump – and claiming the agency committed a “gross error in judgement” if it did not inform the White House.

“If the FBI was, in fact, in possession of this evidence and failed to alert the White House to its existence that would have given even more weight to the president’s legal defense, this was a gross error in judgement and a severe violation of trust,” the letter says.

The letter was signed by 19 House Republicans, including Reps. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.; Louie Gohmert, R-Texas; Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz.; and Jody Hice, R-Ga.

“A large portion of the president’s legal defense case revolved around strong evidence that former Vice President Biden’s son Hunter was peddling his influence to his father to land lucrative jobs overseas that he might not have otherwise been qualified for,” the letter says.

The lawmakers ask whether the FBI was in possession of the laptop and drive as documented in the Post, whether it took steps to authenticate the drive and the data, and if anyone at the FBI briefed officials at the Department of Justice or White House after December.

Nobody knows exactly where Hunter Biden is at the moment, but we all know where his laptop is … It’s at The New York Post. And thanks to a couple bombshell reports from The Post, we’re starting to get an idea of the gold mine that’s sitting on his hard drive.

In a nutshell, we’ve learned that Hunter Biden made a lot of money selling “VP access” to business folks in Ukraine and China.

The money Hunter raked in from his pay-to-play scam afforded him a wild and degenerate lifestyle, complete with hookers, strippers, and all the crack his little lungs could handle.

However, like most junkies, Hunter got sloppy, and when he took his laptop in for repair, it set into motion a string of events that would eventually lead to the opening of a Pandora’s Box straight from the bowels of ‘October Surprise’ hell.

The chain of events that led to the opening of Hunter’s Pandora’s Box is murky, but from we can piece together, the computer repair guy who was fixing Hunter’s laptop stumbled across something so alarming that he contacted the FBI, who, in turn, confiscated the laptop.

Prior to the FBI taking possession of the laptop, the computer repair guy made a copy of the hard drive. Now, for all we know, this could have been done as part of the repair process – but either way, a copy was made.

A year or so passed and the computer repair guy hadn’t heard anything back from the FBI so he reportedly reached out to Senator Mike Lee’s office. Unfortunately, he didn’t hear back from him either. At some point along the way, the computer repair guy was put in touch with Rudy Giuliani, who did respond back, and probably realized he just hit the political jackpot.

Rudy has told us that what we’re seeing now is just the “tip of the iceberg,” and he promises a lot more bombshells to come over the next several days.

I’m definitely looking forward to the upcoming political show — however — I’m already convinced that there’s a dark and seedy bombshell sitting right in front of our faces that’s going largely unnoticed.

I did a bit of digging around because I was curious about how this laptop dropped into Rudy’s hands, and in my research, I stumbled upon an article in “Business Insider” that held a very interesting nugget of information.

The article is titled, “The New York Post inadvertently revealed the original source of its dubious Hunter Biden story.” That immediately caught my eye, so I delved into the piece and towards the end of the article I spotted my little “bombshell.”

The Business Insider piece was seeking the same thing I was: dirt on how this whole thing went down. Their people examined many of the documents that were recovered off the hard drive and published in The New York Post piece, and they believe that based on those examinations they’ve identified the FBI agent who issued the subpoena for Hunter’s laptop.

His name is reportedly Joshua Wilson and he works out of the FBI’s satellite office in downtown Willmington. Mr. Wilson is an FBI agent best known for his work in the “child pornography” division of the bureau.

Here we have a flood of people coming in, the majority of them young adult males shirking military service back home, and relatively few of them are qualified to seek asylum. Most of them are unqualified to do any sort of work within the EU due to lack of literacy, education or work ethic. Many of them would not be trainable in any case, coming as they are from populations bred for physical stamina and disease tolerance rather than intelligence.

Politico Rushes in to Blame Russia Disinformation for Hunter Biden Emails and Crack Smoking Photos — Will Twitter Ban This Crazy Conspiracy?

The New York Post dropped its second major report on Hunter Biden’s emails on Thursday. The Hunter Biden emails reveal how Hunter Biden worked to cash in big on China and to withhold money for his dad!

On Thursday morning the Biden Campaign came out and lied about the emails.

Biden Campaign Spokesman Jamal Brown told MSNBC, “Twitter’s response to the actual article itself makes clear that these purported allegations are false and are not true.”

That was Thursday morning.

But by Thursday afternoon the Biden Campaign changed its tune.

According to the New York Post Joe Biden’s son Hunter brokered a meeting between his father and Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma’s board.

On Thursday afternoon the Biden Campaign admitted there was a “possibility” the meeting with Pozharskyi likely took place.

And now we know who is to blame — RUSSIA!

Politico today pushed the latest conspiracy that Russia is behind these email leaks by Hunter Biden.

The Post’s story drew immediate comparisons to 2016, when Russian hackers dumped troves of emails from Democrats onto the internet — producing few damaging revelations but fueling accusations of corruption by Trump.

There was no immediate indication of Russian involvement in the release of emails that the Post obtained, but its general thrust mirrors a narrative that U.S. intelligence agencies have described as part of an active Russian disinformation effort aimed at the 2020 election.

Reagan Carrier Strike Group heads back into South China Sea amid increasing tension with China

The aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan and its strike group returned to the South China Sea Thursday for the third time in its 2020 deployment.

The Japan-based carrier is joined by Carrier Air Wing 5, the guided-missile cruiser Antietam and the guided-missile destroyers John S. McCain and Halsey.

There, the strike group is conducting flight operations, maritime strike exercises and training between surface and air units.

The South China Sea continues to be an area of contention, with Beijing increasingly laying claim to the waters while the United States and partners continue to send ships into the region to signal to China that the waters should remain international. On Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping told his troops to “put all (their) minds and energy on preparing for war," according to CNN.

“Throughout our deployment, we continue our long tradition demonstrating the United States' commitment to the lawful use of the seas and maintaining open access to the international commons,” strike group commander Rear Adm. George Wikoff said in a statement.

The carrier’s move into the South China Sea comes a day after the destroyer Barry conducted a transit through the Taiwan Strait, a navigation the Navy says “demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.”

The world’s most prominent medical organization is turning its back on coronavirus lockdown insanity. Instead of embracing this new “science,” all the powers that be in America are ignoring the development. This says a lot about the cowardice and uselessness of America’s media, but it also says a lot about the role of our so-called “experts.” The true function of “experts” is not to provide genuine advice to good-faith decision makers, but to serve as collective rubber stamps for the agendas set forth by our corrupt ruling class.

Three years ago, Dr. David Nabarro was a top candidate for the director-generalship of the World Health Organization. Nabarro lost that election to Tedros Adhanom, perhaps because he hadn’t distinguished himself enough at covering up cholera outbreaks.

Now, Nabarro is one of the WHO’s chief global envoys for combating the coronavirus. And in an interview last week with The Spectator, a British magazine, Nabarro made a confession: Mass lockdowns to fight coronavirus are terrible policy.

Nabarro’s confession was obvious to anybody who has honestly followed the science and data over the past seven months. As Revolver reported weeks ago, in the U.S. lockdowns will likely destroy ten times as many life-years as they save.

Nabarro and WHO deserve only minimal credit, though, for finally arriving at the correct position on lockdowns after half a year of unprecedented imbecility. Back in April, when it mattered, the WHO sounded an hysterical alarm against lifting lockdowns:

Lifting coronavirus lockdown measures too early could spark a “deadly resurgence” in infections, the World Health Organization chief has warned.

Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said countries should be cautious about easing restrictions, even as some struggle with the economic impact.“Lifting restrictions too quickly could lead to a deadly resurgence,” he said.

He said the WHO was working with governments to form strategies for easing restrictions, but that this should not be done too soon.

“Lifting restrictions too quickly could lead to a deadly resurgence,” he said.

“The way down can be as dangerous as the way up if not managed properly.”

At the time Tedros pressed for economy-killing lockdowns, Sweden’s epidemic was already cresting, with no lockdown required and no collapse of the medical system. Nabarro, meanwhile, made absurd claims that coronavirus would create a master race of the COVID-immune and a slave race of the still locked-down.

Nabarro’s admission should have been bombshell news in the United States. One would think it would cause New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to reconsider his presence plan to impose yet another round of economically suicidal lockdowns on his state.

One might also wonder, how did The New York Times respond to Nabarro’s suggestion that Cuomo is uselessly and destructively punishing his state’s citizens?

It didn’t.

The Times didn’t give Nabarro’s interview so much as a brief mention on its website. Neither did The Washington Post. CNN? You already know the answer to that. The Associated Press, CBS News, ABC News, NBC News, Politico, even Fox News — all of them skipped past this crucial interview.

Fully four days after the explosive interview, only two U.S. publications saw fit to note it. The New York Post wrote about Nabarro’s interview on Sunday, as did USA Today. Even then, USA Today‘s take was deliberately hostile, with Nabarro’s advice buried after a wave of sensationalist statistics intended to make the virus sound out of control.

Nabarro’s interview finally went viral among American Twitter users thanks to an Australian publication.

Trump refuses to disavow QAnon

President Trump on Thursday refused to disavow QAnon during an NBC News town hall, saying he knows nothing about it beyond that supporters of the theory are “strongly against pedophilia.”

Trump was asked by host Savannah Guthrie to disavow the conspiracy theory, after she described it as a theory about Democrats being a satanic pedophile ring.

“I know nothing about QAnon. I know very little,” Trump said. “You told me but what you tell me doesn’t necessarily make it fact. I hate to say that.”

"I know nothing about it. I do know they are very much against pedophilia, they fight it very hard. But I know nothing about it,” Trump continued.

When Guthrie noted that Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) said QAnon is “nuts” and that “real leaders call conspiracy theories conspiracy theories,” Trump again said claimed to have no knowledge about the theory.

“He may be right. I just don’t know about QAnon,” Trump said

“You do know,” Guthrie pressed.

“I don’t know,” Trump continued.

QAnon is a far-right conspiracy theory whose followers believe that an underground cabal of Satanic worshipers run child sex trafficking rings and are in control of the so-called “deep state” government and that Trump is working to expose them.

The movement began on the internet but has grown substantially in recent months, garnering support even from some GOP congressional candidates. The FBI designated the collection of individuals a domestic terror threat in 2019 because it had the potential to encourage violence.

The ex-boyfriend of NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has arrived at ICAC for his third day in the witness box.

Amid fresh revelations that investigators had him under surveillance at NSW Parliament three years ago, his appearance follows the corruption watchdog inadvertently publishing a transcript of his private evidence on Thursday.

The material is now the subject of a fresh suppression order as it included evidence provided in a session the inquiry ruled was too private to be of public interest.

On Thursday, he admitted he hoped for a $1.5 million payday over the potential sale of land owned by the Waterhouse family near Badgerys Creek.

Mr Maguire has also conceded he discussed the potential land deal with Ms Berejiklian multiple times, although he didn't seem to ever discuss his potential $1.5 million success fees with her.

He did tell her the "Badgerys Creek stuff" would help him pay off his debts and quit politics amid hopes the pair could go public with their relationship which he described as “on again off again”.

Asked whether it was still ongoing he replied: “Not after this, it wouldn’t be."

He's also revealed he arranged for a "tipsy" property developer mate, Joseph Alha, to drop in on the NSW Premier unannounced in her office and that he promised to give an email from the developer to the NSW Premier, his secret girlfriend at the time.

“I’ll give it to her, all right,” Maguire says.

Joe Biden and President Trump held dueling town halls Thursday night.

Joe Biden held a town hall on ABC hosted by Democrat operative George Stephanopoulos.

A young black voter was given an opportunity to ask Biden a question and Biden stumbled his way through his answer.

“Many people believe that the true swing demographic in this election will be black voters under the age of 30 — not because they will be voting for Trump but because they won’t vote at all,” a young black progressive Democrat questioner said to Biden.

“So my question for you then is, besides ‘you ain’t black,’ what do you have to say to young black voters who see voting for you as further participation in a system that fails to protect them?” he asked referring to Biden’s racist remarks to black radio host Charlemagne Tha God.

In May of this year, Biden told black radio host Charlemagne Tha God, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you ain’t Black.”

Biden slurred and stumbled through his answer and made absolutely no sense.

Joe Biden supported segregation and sponsored the 1994 crime bill that incarcerated millions of blacks.

Months After Prison Release, Florida Sex Offender Has Sex With Missing Teen, Deputies Say

A Brandon, Florida man arrested during a recent Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office online chat operation is now facing additional charges after detectives discovered he was engaging in sex with a minor he met online.

Flor-Adam Brandon Cruz, 24, was one of 22 men arrested during Operation Social Bust. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives posed as underage girls and boys on social media in an effort to locate online sexual predators.

Back in September, an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old girl came in contact with Cruz after he initiated a conversation online. Cruz sent explicit text messages describing the sexual acts he wanted to perform on the underage girl and claimed he would help her gain experience with sex. Detectives were able to arrest Cruz during a traffic stop in Brandon.

Cruz is a high-risk sex offender who was just released from Florida State Prison in July of 2020. He is on felony probation until 2032 for lewd and lascivious battery on a minor.

After obtaining a search warrant for Cruz’s cellphone, detectives were able to identify a real 15-year-old victim with whom he was engaging in sex.

Detectives learned that Cruz used Uber to transport the teenage girl, who was reported as missing, from Pinellas County to his home to have sex with her on two separate occasions. Cruz filmed the sexual acts, and the videos were discovered on his cellphone.

In addition to his initial charges for using computer services/devices to solicit certain illegal acts, unlawful use of a two-way communications device, transmission of harmful material to a minor and violation of probation, Cruz will now face add-on charges of lewd and lascivious battery (3 counts), promotion of a sexual performance by a child, interference with child custody, and traveling to meet a minor after using computer services/devices to solicit certain illegal acts (2 counts).

“It sickens me that this convicted sex offender continued to prey on children even after serving time in prison for his heinous acts,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Had it not been for the thorough investigative work of our detectives well after Operation Social Bust ended, we would have never known about this juvenile who Cruz was taking advantage of repeatedly. This is exactly why we conduct these undercover chat operations. We want to find these sexual predators lurking online before they find our children.”

Nick Clegg was involved in Facebook's decision to 'reduce the distribution' of a New York Post Joe Biden story, reports suggest.

Facebook was accused of 'acting as Joe Biden’s PR team' by top Republicans for hushing up the story just days before the US election on November 3.

The former-deputy Prime Minister is the vice-president of global affairs and communications at the social media giant.

Most of Facebook's decisions are made by automatic software - or by moderation staff.

But, for sensitive moderation issues that hold cultural or political significance, Facebook's vice-president of content policy, vice-president of global public policy and then Sir Nick look into the case as it passes up a chain.

Neither Joe nor Hunter has denied the story outright. Now, many are accusing the two tech companies of playing favorites because no anti-Trump story by a legitimate news organization has ever faced such tough restrictions.

Dr. Fauci suggests canceling Thanksgiving gatherings amid COVID uptick

With Thanksgiving around the corner, Dr. Anthony Fauci issued a dire warning about the surging coronavirus cases around the country — saying that people “may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering,” according to a report. The 79-year-old top infectious diseases doctor told “CBS Evening News” on Wednesday that his three children will not be coming home for the holiday because his age puts him at increased risk. “You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering, unless you’re pretty certain that the people that you’re dealing with are not infected,” Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told anchor Norah O’Donnell.

Noting that COVID-19 cases are surging in 37 states, Fauci said that “what we really have to do is double down” during the cooler weather on preventive measures like social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands. “They sound very simple, but people are not doing that and that’s why we have an uptick in cases,” he said. The situation could get even worse as families across the country travel and gather for the holiday season, Fauci added. “That is unfortunately a risk, when you have people coming from out of town, gathering together in an indoor setting,” he said. “It is unfortunate, because that’s such a sacred part of American tradition — the family gathering around Thanksgiving. But that is a risk.” He continued: “Given the fluid and dynamic nature of what’s going on right now in the spread and the uptick of infections, I think people should be very careful and prudent about social gatherings, particularly when members of the family might be at a risk because of their age or their underlying condition.”

Fauci said his children, who live in three different states, have decided to stay away this year amid the pandemic. “They themselves, because of their concern for me and my age, have decided they’re not going to come home for Thanksgiving — even though all three of them want very much to come home for Thanksgiving,” he said. Fauci also addressed President Trump’s recent bout with the coronavirus. “We’re very, very pleased” with how well the president is doing, he said, but warned that not everyone who contracts the deadly bug will be as fortunate as Trump, who was treated with a variety of aggressive and experimental treatments at Walter Reed medical center. As for Trump’s promise that the Regeneron antibody cocktail will be made available to all Americans who need it, Fauci said that’s not yet feasible because there aren’t enough doses to go around. The president has urged people to not be afraid of the virus or let it “dominate” their lives — but Fauci pushed back at the suggestion. “That’s sort of like saying someone was speeding in a car at 95 miles an hour and didn’t get in an accident, so I can go ahead and speed and not get in an accident. There’s a great deal of variability,” he said. “We’re very, very pleased that the president did so well when he was infected with the coronavirus, but there are also a lot of people who are his age and his weight which did not do as well as the president did. He also said he signed off on Trump’s participation in an NBC town hall Thursday night after looking at the “totality” of the tests the president has taken. “I, and one of my colleagues who’s very experienced in this, Dr. Cliff Lane, came to the conclusion — I think certainly correctly — that he is of no threat to transmit the virus to anybody else,” Fauci told O’Donnell. Asked whether Trump is putting the people who travel with him in peril, he replied: “The answer to that is no, he is not.” Fauci’s warnings about the upcoming holiday come as the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that even small gatherings are becoming a source of infection nationwide. “In the public square, we’re seeing a higher degree of vigilance and mitigation steps in many jurisdictions,” Dr. Robert Redfield told governors on a call Tuesday, The Hill reported. “But what we’re seeing as the increasing threat right now is actually acquisition of infection through small household gatherings,” he said. “Particularly with Thanksgiving coming up, we think it’s really important to stress the vigilance of these continued mitigation steps in the household setting.” As of Thursday, the death toll from the coronavirus in the US stood at 216,904, with more than 7.9 million reported cases, according to Johns Hopkins University.

BCPH BELIEVES RESIDENTS ARE REFUSING TO GET COVID-19 TESTED IN FEAR OF RESTRICTIONS

CHICO, Calif. - Butte County Public Health (BCPH) said that people are refusing to get tested if they are experiencing symptoms due to not wanting the county to go back to a more restrictive tier.

"I think that is insane," said Chico resident, Paul Beltz. "I think that it is a height of irresponsibility. I think it is ignorant. I think it is uneducated and I think it is self-centered, to be blunt."

On Thursday, Butte County Public Health Department said that some people are refusing to get tested even if they are experiencing symptoms.

People in Chico are very concerned about how this could impact them, especially those who could bring the virus home to their family members at high risk.

"I work for elderly people and I take care of my mom right now and these people are in the bracket for risk and yea that sounds dangerous," said Chico resident, Theo Westbrook.

"They know what they are doing and they should be responsible for their own actions," said Chico resident, Krystal Alvarez. "Like if you know you have it just wait the two weeks to know when you are feeling better. A majority of us are doing it safely so I mean, take care of your own actions."

Butte County Health Departments' concern is that people with symptoms won't come to testing sites and said that this doesn't help the accuracy of the case numbers.

"Not only does the state consider our positivity rates, but they also consider the total tests that we perform throughout the county," said Director for Butte County Public Health, Danette York. "Refusing a test could actually hurt our rates using that statistic when they see we are not testing enough in the county."

York added that if they don’t know that someone has the virus, then they can’t stop the virus.

Testing location sites in Chico can be located at the CVS on Esplanade and Forest, Ampla Health, and at the old Rabo Bank on Mangrove.
