Dirty Kanza founder fired for saying police shooting of Rayshard Brooks was 'justified'

The founder of Dirty Kanza, Jim Cummins, has been fired by the organisers of the popular gravel race over a social media post in which he claimed the shooting of a black man by police in Atlanta this week was "justified".

Cummins, who set up Dirty Kanza in 2006, was dismissed from his role as 'Chief Gravel Officer' by Life Time, the company that now runs the event, on Saturday night.

He had posted on Facebook to address the killing of Rayshard Brooks, who was shot dead as police officers tried to arrest him on Friday. Brooks' death came at a time when repeated killings of African Americans by police had led to anti-racism protests across America and the world.

Cummins, whose Facebook account has now been deleted, reposted a video of the attempted arrest two years ago of Daniel Clary, who shot at two police officers and escaped. Cummins added the following message: "Watch this ENTIRE video. Then if you still believe the cop who shot Rayshard Brooks, after he stole the officer's taser and then used it against him, was not justified in shooting Mr. Brooks... then unfriend me now."

Life Time, which also runs the Big Sugar and Crusher in the Tushar gravel events, issued a statement later on Saturday.

"Following a review of the post made by the founder of Dirty Kanza, we found it to be inappropriate and insensitive, and we stand against it as an organization. As an outcome of our investigation, we have parted ways with this individual," it said.

"One of our core principles is to provide safe, trusting, and respectful environments for all our members, customers and team members, while rejecting all actions of prejudice or injustice towards others.

"We will continue to take all matters like this with the same degree of seriousness by conducting thorough reviews and acting any time we believe our company principles have been violated."

Cummins had recently faced accusations that the name of Dirty Kanza was itself racist. Kanza can refer to the Kaw Nation, a native American tribe, and so the event's name was read as a slur by those petitioning for it to be changed. In April, Cummins co-signed an open letter from the race and Kaw Nation chairwoman Lynn Williams in which both said they were "proud to stand alongside one another".

Paris Dennard Blasts Joe Biden: Democrats ‘Have Put a Bigot at the Top of the Ticket

Dennard added that Trump is asking Americans to look at his record and “Ask, ‘what have I done for you lately?’ Ask, ‘What have I done for you for the past 2 1/2 years?’ Ask, ‘What am I going to do for you in the future?’

“When you ask the same questions to Joe Biden, the answer is, ‘Nothing but harm, destroy, and pretty insulting,’ because I think Joe Biden is an old bigot who doesn’t really care about advancing anything except for his career,'” he said.

Dennard added that Biden’s actions amount to “pandering, and he should stay in his basement.”

He said Biden has a 44-year history “of being a bigot. His record of saying overtly racist, offensive things, insulting things to black people, about black people, about Indian-Americans, is out in the open.”

Dennard said whoever Biden picks as his running mate, she is going to have to “take on his baggage.”

Ex-NYT reporter Alex Berenson says New York-based, anti-Trump media are part of coronavirus problem

Berenson told Hume on an episode of the "Fox News Rundown Podcast," that the media is partially responsible for people not listening to studies he says indicate measures taken to combat the spread of coronavirus have been overblown.

“You really have to ask yourself, is this nearly as dangerous as we were told it was? Not that. Again, not that it isn't real. Not that it can't hurt people, especially, you know, elderly people and people with co-morbidities,” Berenson said, after citing various studies. “But is it dangerous in a way that justifies what we have done to our society?”

Hume then asked why the former Times reporter - who in his time with the paper from 1999 to 2010 primarily covered the pharmaceutical industry – seems like the “lonely” voice making that case.

“I mean, I sort of have two thoughts on that. One is that obviously the media is very, very New York-centric. And what happened in New York is exceptional... New York doesn't look like anywhere else in the United States,” Berenson said.

“You know, both in terms of its population density, its reliance on mass transit, and clearly what happened in the city in late March… was bad. You know, a lot of people did die. We don't quite know how many yet. But, a lot of people died and that scared a lot of people. And then and in New York, people are locked up in their apartments,” Berenson continued. “But the other reason is, and unfortunately, I think this has become a bigger part of it in the last couple of weeks is a lot of people hate Donald Trump.”

Berenson repeated, “A lot of people in the media hate Donald Trump,” and said he is a registered independent himself

“It is clear that many people in the media who don't like Donald Trump on some level blame him for everything that's happened,” Berenson said.

He said the media’s tendency to blame the president “shaded almost into ‘we're not going to recognize that maybe this isn't as terrible as we thought it was a month ago.’”

Berenson then evoked his former employer, the paper that President Trump often mocks as the “failing” New York Times.

“The New York Times, where I worked for 10 years and I loved working, could have written everything they wrote about New York City and how terrible things were in New York and still presented a much more balanced picture of what was going on in the rest, the United States. And they didn't do it. And I don't know why,” Berenson said

He said “it's very disturbing” to witness “media group think” related to the coronavirus pandemic and wants to reach as many people as possible

“All I want is for the right policy measures to be undertaken. And if I can kind of get information to people who are getting a totally, you know, or largely incorrect picture from places like the Times and CNN, and I can do that with data then then, then I'll do it,” Berenson added.

Navy Upholds Firing of Aircraft Carrier Captain Who Warned of Coronavirus Outbreak on Ship

The Navy has decided to uphold the firing of an aircraft carrier captain whose warning of a coronavirus outbreak on board was leaked to the press, multiple outlets reported on Friday.

Brett Crozier, former captain of the USS Theodore Roosevelt, sent a letter to superiors in late March pleading for help in controlling coronavirus cases on the ship. Crozier was fired after his letter was leaked to the San Francisco Chronicle almost immediately after the former captain had sent it to superiors.

Two sources familiar with the details of the decision said that the Navy will uphold the promotion of Rear Admiral Stu Baker to captain.

“The results of the investigation justified the relief [of Crozier],” one source told Politico. “He failed to take appropriate action, to do the things that the commanding officer of a ship is supposed to do, so he stays relieved.”

Towards the end of April, Admiral Mike Gilday, chief officer of the U.S. Navy, said he believed Crozier should be reinstated. It is not immediately clear what let to the reversal in the Navy’s position.

After Crozier’s warning leaked to the Chronicle, then-Acting Navy Secretary Thomas Modly condemned the captain for risking a leak by sending his letter to too many individuals. Modly then flew to Guam and excoriated Crozier in a speech to sailors on the ship. Modly subsequently apologized and resigned his post.

Crozier himself contracted coronavirus and has since recovered. Video of Crozier leaving the aircraft carrier following his firing showed sailors cheering the captain.

China to Increase U.S. Agricultural Imports after Secret Trade Talks: Report

China will increase its purchases of U.S. agricultural products following secret talks between the two nations held in Hawaii, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

China is a vital market for American soybeans, corn, ethanol, meat, and other agricultural products. But Beijing, which committed to buying $36.5 billion in American agricultural goods under the terms of a phase-one trade deal signed by President Trump and Chinese premier Xi Jinping, had only purchased $4.65 billion worth through the first four months of 2020.

The talks on Wednesday, attended by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Chinese foreign-policy chief Yang Jiechi, were intended to smooth conflicts over the trade deal.

“During my meeting with CCP Politburo Member Yang Jiechi, he recommitted to completing and honoring all of the obligations of Phase 1 of the trade deal between our two countries,” Pompeo wrote on Twitter following the meeting.

The Chinese commerce ministry did not respond to Bloomberg‘s request for comment.

Phase one of the trade deal went into effect just before the coronavirus outbreak that started in Wuhan, China ballooned into a global pandemic. Relations between the U.S. and China have soured considerably since then, with American officials blaming China for not preventing the spread of the virus. The two nations were already in the midst of a trade war, with each imposing tariffs on exports from the other.

Former Google CEO and chairman of the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Board Eric Schmidt said that “there’s no question” Chinese telecom giant Huawei has business practices “not acceptable in national security.”

Speaking to BBC Radio 4 for a documentary, Schmidt said that a proper understanding of Huawei should make one see the company as a means of “signals intelligence” that functions as a spy agency.

“There’s no question that Huawei has engaged in some practices that are not acceptable in national security,” he stated. “There’s no question that information from Huawei routers has ultimately ended up in hands that would appear to be the state. However that happened, we’re sure it happened.”

In May, the U.S. Department of Commerce slapped additional sanctions on Huawei to limit its ability to acquire semiconductor chips using American technology. The Department of Justice said in February that the firm has conducted a “decades-long” operation to “misappropriate intellectual property” from U.S. technology firms, while Trump administration claimed that Huawei has secretly accessed American cell phone data for over a decade.

“Let’s cut to the chase: China’s main export is espionage, and the distinction between the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese ‘private-sector’ businesses like Huawei is imaginary,” Senator Ben Sasse (R., Neb.) said in May. “Huawei’s supply chain depends on contracts with American companies and the Commerce Department ought to take a careful look at how we can effectively disrupt our adversary.”

In the interview, Schmidt admitted that he had held “prejudices” about China, such as the belief that tech firms in the country are “very good at stealing,” but said that these prejudices now “need to be thrown out.”

“The Chinese are just as good, and maybe better, in key areas of research and innovation as the West,” Schmidt explained. “They’re putting more money into it. They are putting it in a different way, it is state-directed in a way that is different from the West. We need to get our act together to compete.”

An Army veteran is in custody after he was accused of emptying his 9mm pistol at another vehicle during a road rage incident in a Georgia parking lot.

Columbus police said Joe Harvey, 52, fired at least nine times in the parking lot of Dick's Sporting Goods about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported. No one was hurt.

Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu warns of possible second coronavirus lockdown

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Israel may have to renew its lockdown following a surge in coronavirus cases. "We must flatten the curve now," Mr Netanyahu said at the beginning of Sunday's (June 21) weekly Cabinet session.

"If we don't change our behaviour immediately, and begin to wear masks and keep a distance from each other, the lockdowns will return. None of us want that." Mr Netanyahu said he would hold a meeting of ministers on Monday to decide what steps should be taken.

Over 20,000 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Israel, including more than 300 fatalities. The number of cases has steadily risen, from less than 17,000 a month ago, after restrictions were significantly eased and many people ignored instructions to wear masks and maintain social distancing. While the number of deaths has not spiralled, Mr Netanyahu said the forecasts he was given over the weekend were all "harsh", without giving further details.

The Health Ministry instructed hospital directors in a letter sent to them on Sunday to be prepared to reopen coronavirus wards immediately, if necessary. The ministry also asked hospitals to refresh personal protection instructions to medical staff, noting that in addition to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, there has been a rise in the number of personnel who are in quarantine due to exposure to infected patients.

Mr Netanyahu said at the end of last week that he would put any further reopening of the country's economy on pause. Still, the country is scheduled to restart train services on Monday, and to allow cultural events with audiences of as many as 250 to go ahead.

In 2019, when rumors arose that Biden would pick her as a running mate before he even launched his candidacy, Abrams told The View she would not run for "second place." She also said she would be concerned if Biden did not choose a woman of color for the position.

Did you know that more Irish slaves were sold in the 17th century than black slaves? With a staggering death rate between 37% to 50%, this is the story the history books will not tell you.

White and Black Slaves in the Sugar Plantations of Barbados. None of the Irish victims ever made it back to their homeland to describe their ordeal. These are the lost slaves; the ones that time and biased history books conveniently forgot.

The first slaves imported into the American colonies were 100 White children. They arrived during Easter, 1619, four months before the arrival of a the first shipment of Black slaves.Mainstream histories refer to these laborers as indentured servants, not slaves, because many agreed to work for a set period of time in exchange for land and rights.

Yet in reality, indenture was enslavement, since slavery applies to any person who is bought and sold, chained and abused, whether for a decade or a lifetime. Many white people died long before their indenture ended or found that no court would back them when their owners failed to deliver on promises.Tens of thousands of convicts, beggars, homeless children and other undesirable English, Scottish, and Irish lower class were transported to America against their will to the Americas on slave ships. YES SLAVE SHIPS.

Many of the white slaves were brought from Ireland, where the law held that it was ?no more sin to kill an Irishman than a dog or any other brute.? The European rich class caused a lot of suffering to these people , even if they were white like them.In 1676, there was a huge slave rebellion in Virginia. Black and white slaves burned Jamestown to the ground. Hundreds died. The planters feared a re-occurence. Their solution was to divide the races against each other. They instilled a sense of superiority in the white slaves and degraded the black slaves. White slaves were given new rights; their masters could not whip them naked without a court order,etc. White slaves whose daily condition was no different from that of Blacks, were taught that they belonged to a superior people. The races were given different clothing. Living quarters were segregated for the first time. But the whites were still slaves.

In the 17th Century, from 1600 until 1699, there were many more Irish sold as slaves than Africans. There are records of Irish slaves well into the 18th Century.Many never made it off the ships. According to written record, in at least one incident 132 slaves, men, women, and children, were dumped overboard to drown because ships’ supplies were running low. They were drowned because the insurance would pay for an “accident,” but not if the slaves were allowed to starve.

Also, the Irish were Catholic, and Papists were hated among the Protestant planters. An Irish slave would endure such treatment as having his hands and feet set on fire or being strung up and beaten for even a small infraction. Richard Ligon, who witnessed these things first-hand and recorded them in a history of Barbados he published in 1657, stated:”Truly, I have seen cruelty there done to servants as I did not think one Christian couldhave done to another.”(5)According to Sean O’Callahan, in To Hell or Barbados, Irish men and women were inspected like cattle there, just as the Africans were.

In addition, Irish slaves, who were harder to distinguish from their owners since they shared the same skin color, were branded with the owner’s initials, the women on the forearm and the men on the buttocks. O’Callahan goes on to say that the women were not only sold to the planters as sexual slaves but were often sold to local brothels as well. He states that the black or mulatto overseers also often forced the women to strip while working in the fields and often used them sexually as well.(6)The one advantage the Irish slaves had over the African slaves was that since they were literate and they did not survive well in the fields, they were generally used as house servants, accountants, and teachers. But the gentility of the service did not correlate to the punishment for infractions.

Flogging was common, and most slave owners did not really care if they killed an easily replaceable, cheap Irish slave.While most of these slaves who survived were eventually freed after their time of service was completed, many leaving the islands for the American colonies, many were not, and the planters found another way to insure a free supply of valuable slaves. They were quick to “find solace” and start breeding with the Irish slave women. Many of them were very pretty, but more than that, while most of the Irish were sold for only a period of service, usually about 10 years assuming they survived, their children were born slaves for life.

The planters knew that most of the mothers would remain in servitude to remain with their children even after their service was technically up.The planters also began to breed the Irish women with the African male slaves to make lighter skinned slaves, because the lighter skinned slaves were more desirable and could be sold for more money. A law was passed against this practice in 1681, not for moral reasons but because the practice was causing the Royal African Company to lose money. According to James F. Cavanaugh, this company, sent 249 shiploads of slaves to the West Indies in the 1680’s, a total of 60,000 African and Irish, 14,000 of whom died in passage.(7)While the trade in Irish slaves tapered off after the defeat of King James in 1691, England once again shipped out thousands of Irish prisoners who were taken after the Irish Rebellion of 1798.

These prisoners were shipped to America and to Australia, specifically to be sold as slaves.No Irish slave shipped to the West Indies or America has ever been known to have returned to Ireland. Many died, either in passage or from abuse or overwork. Others won their freedom and emigrated to the American colonies. Still others remained in the West Indies, which still contain an population of “Black Irish,” many the descendents of the children of black slaves and Irish slaves.In 1688, the first woman killed in Cotton Mather’s witch trials in Massachusetts was an old Irish woman named Anne Glover, who had been captured and sold as a slave in 1650.

She spoke no English. She could recite The Lord’s Prayer in Gaelic and Latin, but without English, Mather decided her Gaelic was discourse with the devil, and hung her.It was not until 1839 that a law was passed in England ending the slave trade, and thus the trade in Irish slaves.It is unfortunate that, while the descendents of black slaves have kept their history alive and not allowed their atrocity to be forgotten, the Irish heritage of slavery in America and the West Indies has been largely ignored or forgotten.

Barr hints at ‘developments’ in Durham probe this summer, says racism not ‘systemic’ problem in law enforcement

Attorney General Bill Barr announced in an exclusive interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo that Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham's investigation of the Russia probe's origins will likely yield "developments" before summer is over, despite delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

In the wide-ranging interview that aired on "Sunday Morning Futures," Barr said that he was surprised by the overall lack of public interest in Durham's investigation, which follows a Justice Department Inspector General report that revealed inaccuracies and omissions in applications for warrants to conduct surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

AG BARR SAYS TRUMP HAS FIRED SDNY FEDERAL PROSECUTOR WHO REFUSED TO LEAVE; PRESIDENT SAYS HE'S 'NOT INVOLVED'

"So that has been surprising to me, that people aren't concerned about civil liberties and the integrity of our governmental process in terms of the future of Durham's investigation," Barr said. "You know, he's pressing ahead as hard as he can. And I expect that, you know, we will have some developments hopefully before the end of the summer."

Barr admitted that the ongoing pandemic resulted in a delay, but that Durham has been able to continue doing some work on his investigation. He also made it clear that Durham will continue after November's election, although he noted that "what happens after the election may depend on who wins the election."

Barr would not get into many details of Durham's probe, but he did recognize that investigators are looking into the transition period following Trump's victory in 2016, including the unmasking of Michael Flynn, who had been in contact with a Russian ambassador. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying about those contacts, but has since fought back against the case, alleging FBI misconduct.

"I would say it's unusual for an outgoing administration, high level officials, to be unmasking very, you know, very much in the days they're preparing to leave office," Barr said. "Makes you wonder what they were doing."

The DOJ moved to dismiss Flynn's case after evidence was unsealed, including FBI notes indicating that there was a question as to whether the bureau was trying to get the truth from Flynn when they interviewed him or hoping to get him to lie so he would face pressure from prosecution or termination.

DOJ SPOKESWOMAN: 'THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DESERVE RESOLUTION' OF DURHAM INVESTIGATION INTO RUSSIA PROBE

Judge Emmet Sullivan has so far not granted the motion to dismiss, and instead called on third parties to argue against the DOJ's position. Barr said Sullivan has failed to be impartial in the case and should play a more neutral role in abiding by the prosecution's decision when it comes to whether or not to continue pursuing a case.

"Well, as I've said, you know, we disagree with what he's doing. We think the law is clear that it is within the discretion of the executive, the executive branch's function and the attorney general's function to make charging decisions and determine whether to continue on a case," Barr said. "And the judge is supposed to be a neutral judge on the case, not the pros... Not exercise the prosecutor's function. So we're hopeful that the case will be dismissed. We think that's what the law requires."

Barr also came out against media outlets who have not given Russia-related developments the attention he believes they deserve.

"It's been stunning that all we've gotten from the mainstream media [is] sort of bovine silence in the face of the complete collapse of the so-called Russiagate scandal, which they did all they could to sensationalize and drive," he said. "And it's like not even a whoops. They are just onto the next false scandal."

The attorney general also discussed law enforcement in the context of racism and accountability in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd and Rayshard Brooks. Floyd's death sparked nationwide protests against police brutality and racial injustice. Barr recognized that racism is a problem, but pushed back on the idea that it is a "systemic" problem in American law enforcement.

"Well, I do think there's racism in the country ... I think there may be individuals and there are individuals who may have bias, and sometimes that may emerge and be manifested in some act," he said. "But I don't think it's systemic."

At the same time, Barr admitted that black and white Americans are not always treated the same by the judicial system in some parts of the country, specifically addressing whether diversion programs that keep people from getting criminal records are equally available for blacks and whites.

Unethical Abrams: 10 ethics reasons why Georgians should not vote for Stacey Abrams for Governor

Stacey Abrams was once a public official I liked… A LOT! But what a disappointment she’s turned out to be with both her leadership and ethics. She has more ethical challenges than any other statewide candidate. She’s become “Unethical Abrams” to me — the Kasim Reed of statewide politics.

I’m tired of the voters of our state electing people to public office, only later to find out that they completely lack ethics. So with the primary election just days away, and many potential voters still undecided, here are 10 reasons why you should not vote for Stacey Abrams for Governor if you care about ethical behavior:

#1 Abrams reimbursed herself over $84,000 from her campaign accounts without itemization of end recipients. This means that she could have pocketed the money, which of course would be illegal. Last month I filed an ethics complaint with the state ethics commission. When asked about it, she stated “We complied very much so with all of the record-keeping that we were required to do. But if there is any discrepancy and any question, we will certainly provide additional information.” It’s been weeks, and she has still not disclosed where the money went. See WSBTV’s story.

#2 Abrams used campaign resources to sell her book, which she profits from personally. Again, this is illegal and I filed an ethics complaint about it last month as well. This is illegal because candidates are not allowed to personally benefit from campaign funds. Abrams has been paid by her publisher already for the book, and she’ll surely profit from its sales. It would be okay if the campaign received all proceeds from the book, but that’s not the case. After claiming there was nothing wrong with what her staff was doing, all campaign web pages supporting the sale of the book were removed, and all staffers’ social media tweets and posts were deleted. #3 Abrams lied on multiple occasions about her private business dealings with a business she is a partner in called NOWaccount, which did business with the State of Georgia, and Fulton County. While this may not be illegal, lying about your private business dealings is likely something most voters consider unethical. On two separate occasions Abrams stated publicly that she “walled off” herself from dealings with the state – on WABE 3/22/18 and at the GABWA forum on 4/6/18 (1:20:28 mark). Yet the meeting minutes from the Development Authority of Fulton County for May 27, 2014 tell a different story. They state she not only attended, but “…Representative Stacey Abrams… appeared in connection with the request for a letter of inducement for the issuance of $20,000,000 in taxable bonds”. That’s hardly walling herself off.

#4 Abrams was not transparent about a second private business dealing with the state. As Minority Leader in the State House, she never let her caucus know something very important! NOWaccount paid her hundreds of thousands of dollars and was engaged in an on-going business relationship with Gov. Deal’s administration. Abrams at no point informed her caucus of this business relationship that could have compromised her judgment on critical votes, such as the devastating cuts to HOPE and cutting the time-period for early voting in half – both of which the Governor wanted, and Abrams encouraged her caucus to support.

#5 Abrams enriched herself with almost half a million dollars from part time work from her non-profits focused on voter registration. As someone who helped register over 20,000 students during my time in college, and who has poured blood, sweat and tears into nonprofits for modest pay, this one really gets me! She claims that her New Georgia Project, registered 200,000 voters (she used to claim “of color” but has recently dropped that term) between 2014 and 2016. However, she refused to be transparent and back that claim up with any documents or data, while national registration numbers in fact indicate that registration during these years was below average. Despite many questions and concerns about the effectiveness of this effort, Abrams paid herself $427,500 over this two-year period for part time work!

Moreover, the project majorly failed in its fundraising and registration goals, while in addition to making herself half a millionaire, she paid friends and other political allies another $1.5 million of the $3.6 million the effort raised. $1.9 million makes for quite a friends and family plan!! Third Sector Development and the Voter Access Institute are her two non-profits behind the New Georgia Project. IRS Form 990’s from those two organizations over the two-year period show Abrams paid herself over $117 per hour!

#6 Abrams claimed very high, and some false per diems as a State Representative. She padded her state salary with more than $150,000 in per diem payments (an allowance to cover meals and other expenses while working). In 2011, Abrams claimed more out-of-session expenses than any other Georgia House Member – while this is not illegal, it shows an abuse of taxpayer dollars. Also in 2011, she reported receiving per diem pay on the same day a lobbyist reported buying her a cab ride out of state, which violates House Ethics Rules, and forcing her to reimburse the state $181. According to the Associated Press, “Rep. Stacey Abrams, the Democratic minority leader, received $173 in daily pay plus mileage for working in Georgia on Nov. 20, 2011. That same day, a lobbyist reported buying Abrams a $6 cab ride in Miami. When asked about the discrepancy, Abrams reviewed her calendar and said she made a mistake. Abrams has reimbursed the state $181 for the pay she collected on Nov. 20 because lawmakers cannot claim flat-rate pay for out-of-state work.” [Associated Press, 9/6/12]

#7 Abrams asked for and received a sweetheart deal after working for the City of Atlanta that would make even Kasim Reed’s cabinet jealous. With the shock of large bonuses and payouts to staffers of former Mayor Kasim Reed in the limelight, it seems Kasim wasn’t the first to make such a move. Months after leaving city employment, Abrams was paid $62,000 in taxpayer money as a consultant on The BeltLine Project in 2006 and 2007. Even then, someone apparently raised a concern about her pay and “other agendas”. According to this handwritten note in open records from Atlanta BeltLine dated 9/26, “Someone raised concern about use of Stacey, watch how much in sum paying her and other agendas she’s got going.”

She even bragged about this questionable use of taxpayer funds… according to an interview in Reflections on Georgia Politics with Bob Short, Abrams said, “When I left the City of Atlanta to run for office, I had to figure out a way to afford my house and I started a consulting firm. I had created a couple of opportunities for the city and they hired me to come on board. And when I got ready to leave, they said, you’re not leaving without telling us how this works and so they hired me and I negotiated a pretty good price for myself and built a reputation as someone who understood the intersection of public and private enterprise when it comes to particularly public/private development.”

#8 Abrams’ business has liens for unpaid unemployment contributions

Her nonprofit discussed earlier, Third Sector Development had four liens totaling $13,000 from the Georgia Department of Labor for unpaid unemployment contributions from 2014 through 2016 as reported in the AJC. Additionally, in 2010 she had a federal tax lien for $29,795 which she claims was filed in error.

#9 Abrams personally loaned her campaign $50,000 while she owes the IRS $54,000. I would think that while running for Governor, especially after making yourself a half millionaire from nonprofits and work as a public official in addition to getting $150,000 for a book deal, you would want to settle unpaid taxes. But apparently not if you are Abrams, instead, she loaned her campaign $50k! According to the AJC, she deferred her tax payments and worked out a payment plan for 2015 and 2016. She claimed financial hardship while working to support her family. Again, she raked in almost half a million from her nonprofits alone in 2014 and 2015 – what kind of hardship could her family have? And what decisions will she make with your taxpayer dollars if she’s elected Governor?

#10 Abrams has a pattern of inaccurate reporting on her personal financial disclosures and campaign finance reports. Public officials have to file Personal Financial Disclosure reports so citizens can see their business interests to know if they have conflicts of interest. Abrams reports have to be repeatedly amended because of “mistakes” – she apparently forgets about hundreds of thousands of dollars she’s earned from companies she owns or serves as a partner, or board of directors she has served on. She also has a history of mistakes on her campaign finance reports. Again, while not illegal, it certainly shows at the very least, troubling incompetency, or most likely clear attempts to avoid transparency. Here are a few examples:

– In 2015, the year she received $85,000 and the year after she received $177,500 (2014) in payments as CEO of Third Sector Development, she filed amended her report from 2005 through 2015 to add this role.

– In 2016, she amended her Personal Financial Disclosures for years 2011-2015 to include her role as advisor to GeorgiaNEXT, Inc.

– In 2016, she amended her 2013 Personal Financial Disclosure to include her direct ownership in Myrina Strategies.

– Over the years, she apparently forgot she served on the board of directors of the Georgia Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, Faith in Community Ministries, Board of Visitors for Emory University, Branan Towers Senior Facility of Wesley Woods Foundation, Health Students Taking Action Together and NOW Corp USA. And while she reported service on the following boards some years, she didn’t disclose service in all years she served on the boards of The Atlanta Metropolitan State College Foundation and The Georgia Partnership For Excellence In Education.

– An AJC investigation in 2015 found she had a $3,403 discrepancy in her Financial Disclosure Reports. [Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 11/29/15]

So there you have it — 10 instances of unethical behavior by Candidate for Governor Stacey Abrams. I challenge anyone to find a candidate for statewide office this year with more documented examples.

Compared to the current number of hit pieces on Qanon, there are relatively few on 8kun since it's come online in Nov 2019. But this one came out today. Kiev blast that devastated residential building may have been caused by gas leak or BOMB – minister

A deadly explosion in Kiev, which tore through several apartments in a building, may have been caused by an explosive device, Ukraine’s interior minister has said. The blast killed at least three people.

Kiev police are working to determine whether the powerful explosion, which happened on Sunday morning at around 10am local time, was caused by a gas leak or a bomb, Arsen Avakov said.

The ministry has deployed 420 employees to the scene of the explosion, located in the southeast of the Ukrainian capital. That number includes rescue workers, firefighters, police officers and others.

The blast originated in one of the apartments of the nine-story building and caused significant damage, with a stack of four apartments caving in. Rescuers found two people dead under the rubble and rescued three others alive. 21 residents were evacuated from the building in the wake of the emergency.

The gas leak explanation has been deemed more likely by the emergency services. Residents told media outlets that the gas meters had been replaced throughout the building just one week prior to the explosion.

‘Cancel culture despises diversity of opinion’: Publisher says Amazon suspended paid ads for new book on ‘transgender craze’

The burgeoning ‘cancel culture’ has forced Amazon to ax an ad campaign for a book by a Wall Street Journal author which is critical of liberal views on transgender identity, its publishing company has said.

Regnery Publishing said that Jeff Bezos’ company suspended their paid ad for the book ‘Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters’ by Wall Street Journal writer Abigail Shrier.

According to the author, the book explores the idea that “trans-identification has become a peer contagion among teen girls.”

The ad was removed as it “may not be appropriate for all audiences,” because the ad or the book itself claims to “diagnose, treat, or question sexual orientation,” Fox News reported, citing an email from Amazon’s Advertising Support department to Regnery.

The publisher claims the ad contained only a photo of the cover, which features a drawing of a young girl with a hole in her abdomen. The book itself is still available for purchase on Amazon’s website.

Regnery described the situation as a fresh example of so-called ‘cancel culture’, a social movement to silence public figures and hide the products that certain groups find offensive.

The cancel culture has made it clear that it despises diversity of opinion, and it will not tolerate science, data, facts, or anything that contradicts the approved narrative.

Amazon did not comment on Regnery’s allegations.

The e-commerce giant has already been criticized in the past for removing books it deems controversial from its website

CHAZ leader enraged Seattle EMT's wouldn't enter autonomous zone following a shooting

Autonomous: adjective - having the right or power of self-government an autonomous territory.

Early Saturday morning, two men were shot in Seattle's Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, one later died from his gunshot injuries. One of the prominent leaders of the CHAZ is enraged that Seattle EMT's refused to enter the autonomous zone, but emergency officials explain why medics didn't enter the "self-governed" area.

A Seattle rapper named Raz Simone is allegedly one of the leaders of the CHAZ. Simone gained national notoriety following the George Floyd protests after he was one of the early organizers of the autonomous zone in Seattle.

He was labeled as a "warlord" by many after video emerged of him screaming, "This is war!" into a megaphone and ordering "armed paramilitaries to guard the barricades in shifts."

The City Journal said the AK-47-wielding activist was "filmed allegedly assaulting multiple protestors who disobeyed his orders, informing them that he was the 'police' now, sparking fears that he was becoming the de facto warlord of the autonomous zone." Simone has since denied that he is a "warlord."

Following Saturday's shooting inside the Capitol Hill Organized Protest area, Simone fired off an angry tweet attacking Seattle medics for not venturing into the autonomous zone to help the shooting victims.

"Medics refused to help even after people in the CHOP begged," Simone tweeted. "They let our bro bleed out for 30 minutes till he died. F*** politics. F* your currupt system."

The Seattle Fire Department released a statement explaining why the emergency medical technicians did not enter the CHAZ.

"On June 20, 2020 at approximately 2:19 a.m., 9-1-1 received reports of a shooting at 10th Ave and E. Pine St. SPD officers responded to the scene and SFD dispatch was notified," the statement read. "Between 2:26 and 2:28 a.m. SPD officers staged at 12th Ave and Cherry St. and initially entered the scene but were unable to secure the location for SFD medics."

The Seattle Fire Department said they "needed SPD presence to enter the scene" to ensure the safety of the medical technicians.

The proposal referred to as Next Generation EU amounts to an attempt by Brussels bureaucrats to corrupt democratic states in Europe, said Professor of Public Finance at the Technical University of Berlin Markus Kerber in an interview with the weekly Echo24.

“Basically, the proposal suggests that many countries will borrow a lot of money. And because this money is to be returned in thirty years and the repayment phase will not begin until 2028, I consciously call it an attempt by the bureaucracy in Brussels to corrupt national democracies,” he said in an interview with Echo24.

It’s a kind of corruption, according to Kerber, to telling national governments, “here you have the money and you can spend it immediately. It will be paid off later.” That’s an offer that few member state governments would be able to resist, receiving significant amounts of funding that can be used to spend on pet projects for voters to win re-election.

That is why we see the strongest support for the proposal coming from Italy, France, and Spain, he said, because it offers the governments of these highly indebted countries completely new political possibilities.

However, the money will have to be repaid to Brussels over the next thirty years. Kerber stressed that Czechs should know that in this proposal, Czech fiscal policy is sacrificed on the altar of the EU. More specifically, on the altar of the southern wing of the eurozone, he warned.

Germany: “Youths” riot, fight police

Dozens of groups of “youths” rioted in the centre of the city of Stuttgart last night, causing severe property damage, looting, and injuring police officers.

20 people were arrested and more than a dozen police officers were injured amidst the chaos, according to a report by ZDF Heute. There was extensive property damage, with many shop windows broken, and rioters pulled cobblestones out of the streets and threw them at officers. Many police vehicles were damaged as well. Widespread looting was also reported.

Although the situation was severe enough that emergency services from other areas of Baden-Württemberg had to be called in to reinforce the city’s resources, the situation was said to have calmed down by Sunday morning. The authorities are still in the process of assessing the extent of the damage.

Police said that hundreds of people were involved in the violence, although split up into many small groups.

The rioting apparently began after police had stopped someone on suspicion of a drug-related offence. Gangs of youths then began to assemble in solidarity with the suspect and began their attacks in the area of the Schlossplatz.

Cities across Western Europe have been rocked by violence in recent weeks in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while being taken into police custody in the United States last month, setting off widespread rioting there as well.

Stuttgart also saw violence and rioting last month when Antifa thugs assaulted demonstrators at protests in opposition to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown. Some of those attacked had to be hospitalised, as previously reported by Voice of Europe.

The Guardian’s sister paper forces YouTube to again terminate ‘far-right’ channel The Iconoclast, doxes man behind it

The liberal newspaper the Observer has prodded YouTube into re-suspending “the most successful and toxic British far-right” anonymous channel and has unmasked the individual running it.

The Observer, the sister newspaper of British liberal heavyweight the Guardian, has joined campaigners in celebrating a victory over YouTube channel ‘The Iconoclast’. It’s author will no longer be able to use Google’s video platform to deliver messages of hate and white supremacy to its 218,000 subscribers, the newspaper said.

The channel was suspended “after the Observer asked YouTube why it continued to host The Iconoclast,” to which the service said they shared “a deep concern and responsibility in protecting the community against hate speech and do not want our platform used for harm.”

Canceling The Iconoclast however was apparently not enough for the newspaper, since it went on to name the previously anonymous individual behind it. Citing “forensic analysis of his social media output, including repeated usernames, profile pictures, throwaway comments that corroborated biographical details shared in his YouTube videos and undeleted accounts,”the Observer said the channel was run by Daniel Atkinson, a former media student.

Pollak: After TikTok, 2020 Election Is About China

Democrats and Republican Never Trumpers are celebrating Chinese interference in the U.S. presidential election.

On Saturday night, Trump opponents revealed that they had used viral videos on the Chinese-owned social media platform TikTok to urge young people to flood the Trump campaign website with fake requests for tickets to the president’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The result: predictions for hundreds of thousands of fans, but a half-empty BOK Center stadium.

It is a deep embarrassment for the Trump campaign, and indeed for the Trump administration itself.

President Trump has rightly criticized his predecessor for allowing Russian interference to take place in the 2016 election. Now he can be accused of allowing China to do the same.

Regardless, the Tulsa fiasco is also a sign that China is the central issue in the 2020 campaign.

China has siphoned away American jobs and production for three decades, a trend that President Donald Trump is the first Western leader to challenge. It flooded the U.S. with opioids, killing tens of thousands of people annually and creating millions of addicts. It allowed the coronavirus to spread internally, then internationally.

Now China is meddling in U.S. elections. It has been interfering for decades, ever since the Chinese government funneled money to President Bill Clinton’s re-election campaign in 1996.

In 2018, China targeted vulnerable U.S. congressional districts with tariffs and with propaganda against U.S. trade policy, which may have helped Democrats win several Republican-held districts.

Now, in 2020, TikTok has emerged as an effective tool for dirty tricks.

Notably, Facebook and Twitter have censored the president, the latter for allegedly providing inaccurate information a tweet protesting California’s new (and possibly unconstitutional) vote by mail system.

But TikTok just allowed Trump foes to manipulate the campaign openly and proudly. (Notably, Trump opponents also encouraged the prank on other platforms. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) saluted it on Twitter; she has not yet been flagged for encouraging election interference.)

The danger extends beyond the 2020 election. Chinese-owned applications like TikTok have become ubiquitous in the past few years, and especially during the coronavirus pandemic. The videoconferencing service Zoom, a must-have app during the shutdowns, routes some of its traffic through China and recently suspended a Chinese dissident account for hosting a conference call to mark the 31st anniversary of the massacre of pro-democracy protests in Tiananmen Square.

Meanwhile, left-wing mobs in American cities continue to rampage. Protests that began over the killing of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota — a rare event — became riots that burned businesses and forced storefronts across the nation to board up to prevent looting. Left-wing groups are still destroying statues — not just of Confederate figures or colonial-era explorers, but of George Washington, abolitionists, and Civil War heroes like Ulysses S. Grant.

Schiff: ‘Trump Is Guilty’ — The House Proved Him Guilty

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) discussed the allegations in the new book by former national security adviser John Bolton and the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

According to the California Democrat, Trump has already been proven “guilty” by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Schiff said, “I would put frankly, at the top of the list the willingness to change tariffs if only China would help him get re-elected and this is a perfect echo of his misconduct with Ukraine, but more than that, we warned during the trial that you could only count on Donald Trump to do what’s right for him and not what’s right for the country. John Bolton says that is exactly this president’s pattern and practice that he didn’t see a significant national foreign approximately policy decision made on any other basis than the personal and political re-election interest and that’s a tragic and dangerous situation for the whole country when the president has that kind of myopic focus what’s right for him and is willing to sacrifice the national interest.”

On the impeachment trial, Schiff said, “Trump is guilty, they found him guilty. The House proved him guilty, and they weren’t prepared to do anything about it, and we have the evidence to prove it, we did prove it.”

He continued, “We will look at what allegations like those involving Turkey and other countries particularly involving China need to be flushed out and exposed to the light of day and then we’ll make our decisions. But you know, we do need, I think, to expose the length and breadth of this president’s depravity and how much it is endangering the country and those facts will need to come out, and we’re discussing with the speaker and my fellow chairs just how to do that.”

On Bolton testifying before his committee, Schiff said, “I don’t think we should wait if we conclude that there are important things that he says that need to be exposed to the public. The public needs to know exactly what they have in this president. A lot of it is not a surprise, but at the same time, exposure of this president’s misconduct is the best way to protect the country. Congress can take steps to protect the country. You know, look, those comments that the president made when only the interpreter and President Xi were in the room, blessing the concentration camps of the Uyghurs. It’s exactly why we want to know what he said to Putin when he’s alone in the room with Putin because he is dealing away our national security. He’s dealing away the values of this country in secret in order to help himself. That’s just so destructive of everything that this country stands for.”

Over 56 Shot by Sunday Morning on Father’s Day Weekend in Chicago

More than 56 people were shot, nine fatally, by Sunday morning on Father’s Day Weekend in Democrat-controlled Chicago.

WLS reports “two teen boys and a three-year-old are among the dead.”

The three-year-old boy was killed when a car pulled up next to his father’s car and the occupants opened fire “just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday night.” The three-year-old was shot in the back and the wound proved fatal.

NBC Chicago reports a 13-year-old girl was shot and killed in a separate incident.

Breitbart News reported over 30 were shot, two fatally, in Chicago last weekend. Thirty-five were shot, five fatally, the weekend prior.

Police in Democrat-controlled Cleveland are investigating six shootings which occurred between Saturday morning and Sunday morning in their city.

Fox 8 reports the shootings began Saturday around 9 a.m., with the last one occurring Sunday about 6 a.m.

The individuals were all shot while outside and the conditions of all victims are not known.

Ten People Shot in Minneapolis, Reports of ‘100 People Fighting With Various Weapons’

Ten were shot in Minneapolis after midnight on Sunday morning and there were reports of up to 100 people brawling using “various weapons” in the area.

Minneapolis has been severely under policed since the rioting began, as politicians and media continue to cause hostility towards law enforcement.

Daily Caller reporter Kyle Hooten tweeted a video of blood on the ground following the shooting and reported that there are “one hundred people fighting with various weapons.”

An interview with Milton P. Siegel

"This interview with Professor Milton P. Siegel, who for 24 years was the Assistant Director General of the World Health Organization, was recorded in 1992 by Dr. Stephen D. Mumford, President of the Center for Research on Population and Security. This is the first time that it has been made available to the public.

Because of his position and the length of his tenure, Professor Siegel is considered among the world's foremost authorities on the development of World Health Organization policy. In this interview, he reveals the influence of the Vatican in shaping WHO policy, particularly in blocking adoption of the concept that overpopulation is a grave public-health threat – a concept which, in WHO's early years, enjoyed a broad consensus among member countries.

Without this separation of population dynamics from WHO public-health policy, the Vatican would have found it much more difficult to subsequently manipulate governments on such issues as family planning and abortion. National leaders would have been able to refer to the international consensus, as demonstrated by WHO policy. WHO, they could have insisted, has determined that family planning and abortion – like clean water, good nutrition, and immunizations – are necessary to protect public health.

Professor Siegel decided to speak out on the subject. As he was involved in the WHO at an early stage, his personal experience provides ample evidence that the Vatican influenced WHO policy development from the outset, during the early period of the Interim Commission in 1946. In its 63-year history, this international health body has had a deplorable record in family planning. Its commitment has been minuscule, and even today family planning accounts for only a tiny fraction of its budget.

Professor Siegel joined the World Health Organization in 1946, when it was still in its formative stages – under the umbrella of the United Nations, created just the year before. Because of his earlier work in North America and the Middle East, he was asked, in effect, to be one of WHO's "founding fathers". So he came on board on the senior staff of the Interim Commission. Dr. Brock Chisholm of Canada was the Executive Director of the Commission, which set up the permanent organization with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Chisholm was chosen to be WHO's first Director General."

Tripoli government to boycott Arab League Libya talks

Libya’s United Nations (UN) recognised Government of National Accord (GNA) will boycott Arab League talks on the conflict next week, i24 reports.

Libya’s Foreign Minister Mohamed Taher Siala has told the bloc’s executive council that this planned meeting would “deepen the rift” between Arab governments on the issue.

The talks, which will be held during video conference due to coronavirus fears, was urgently requested by Egypt; an ally of warlord General Khalifa Haftar, who is based in Eastern Libya.

Siala claimed that there was no consultation with the GNA on the talks, and expressed concern that the video conference format of the planning meeting was an inappropriate forum for addressing the issues surrounding the brutal conflict.

The GNA’s Turkish-backed forces recently defeated a year long offensive by Haftar’s army against Libya’s capital Tripoli.

Turkey and the GNA have rejected a “peace” initiative proposed by Egypt, which was backed by Haftar supporters Saudi, the UAE and Jordan, declaring it a ruse to allow Haftar’s forces to regroup.

Both countries have consistently demanded peace talks be supervised by the UN.

A conference was held in January in Germany’s capital city of Berlin to thrash out a deal, which calling for an end to foreign meddling and upholding a much-violated arms embargo. However, this initiative has been largely ignored, despite the UN urging nations respect the agreements.

District Courts have Senior Judges who are "semi-retired" except they really aren't. If they wish to, they can still keep handling cases full-time or part-time, either way they are still fully involved regardless of being "semi-retired" Essentially this means many District Courts are filled with DS Senior Judges who can still cause a lot of damage even if the President fills Vacant District Judge seats. However there is one catch here: They don't occupy their seats which means the President can at any point replace them with full-time District Judges.

Mitch Mcconnell has already been asking Senior republican Judges to step down voluntarily so their seats can be replaced. So now let's take a look at SDNY

SDNY = Currently 3 vacant seats for District Judges.

3 Trump appointed Judges so after filling 3 vacant seats there will be in total of 6 Trump appointed Judges. Here comes the funny part: SDNY currently has 17 active Senior Judges, 9 appointed by Clinton, 4 appointed by G.W. Bush, 3 by Reagan and 1 by Ford.

President Trump can potentially replace them all at any point he wants so instead of 3 vacant seats, there are actually 20 up for grabs in SDNY. That would mean Trump appointed District Judges would increase up to 23 in SDNY, the highly important District for investigations on Weiner evidence collection, Clinton Foundation , Epstein evidence collection and Ukraine. There are currently 4 Clinton appointed District Judges(including Chief Judge) 3 by G.W. Bush and a whopping of 15 by Obama(woah, it almost seems like he wanted to make sure he has full control of this important District)

So let's do the math here. When it comes to active District Judges, the DS have in total of 22 seats. Trump currently has 3 District Judges and 3 vacant seats to fill so he will soon have in total 6 District Judges. So let's say President Trump decides to replace all 17 Senior Judges how many Judges does he have then? 23. Oh wait, how many did the DS have? That's right, only 22 so President Trump outnumbers them by 1 and is in full control of this crucial court.

Nicolás Maduro’s regime negotiated the purchase of a huge airbus to create a direct air bridge between Venezuela and Iran.

Sources close to the negotiation informed the PanAm Post that the giant aircraft was owned by Avior and will now go to state-owned Conviasa.

The regime intended to acquire an aircraft capable of flying directly to Iran so that they would not be forced to make layovers in other countries.

Austin Police Arrest 20-Year-Old In Connection With Attack on Police HQ, Flag Burning UPDATED

Friday evening, hundreds of protesters gathered outside police headquarters in Austin, Texas. Chanting slogans such as “F*** the police” and “This is not America!” and carrying hateful signs calling police officers names such as “pigs,” the demonstrators attempted to enter the building. According to officers on the scene, once the demonstrators failed to gain entry to the building, they turned on the American and Texas flags flying from city-owned poles nearby.

The demonstrators lowered both flags, put them in a pile on the pavement, and after several failed attempts, set them on fire. Watch video of the events as they unfolded Friday. Video credit Hiram Gilberto.

Sunday morning, Austin police report the arrest of man in connection with the flag burning.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Julian Gawel for taking down the United States and Texas flags from their poles after video surfaced showing protesters pulling down and burning both flags in downtown Austin.

His mugshot is at the link. There are a few social media accounts attached to the name Julian Gawel indicating the man is from Florida, is white, and is a student at the University of Texas at Austin. The university canceled all in-person classes due to the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020.

Moments after the demonstrators set the flags on fire, a leader can be heard in the video warning others that police officers are approaching to break up the protest. After repeated warnings, the crowd begins to move. Police officers in riot gear emerge from a secured area and demonstrators begin shouting profanities at them. At one point, someone from the crowd attempts to toss an unknown powder in the direction of the officers.

Police return to their secured area and close the gates. Demonstrators begin kicking the metal fence and resume chanting. An unknown demonstrator tosses an object such as a bottle over the fence at the officers, but it appears to do no damage.

Demonstrators chanting “Whose streets? Our streets!” and occupy the area outside the police building’s secure area until police eventually disperse them. The demonstrators chant “Revolution!” and other slogans as they march down the street in the mostly empty downtown Austin.

No word yet on the charges Mr. Gawel may face or if others are still being sought by police.

UPDATE: A source tells PJM that Mr. Gawel has been charged with theft, evading arrest, and resisting arrest. Because he apparently crossed state lines allegedly in order to incite a riot, the case has been referred to the FBI.

Forty-year-old court case may point toward Bolton's upcoming legal troubles

John Bolton's legal troubles may be far from over.

The former National Security Advisor won a limited but notable victory in court Saturday when a federal judge ruled that he would not prevent his tell-all book, "The Room Where It Happened," from being published.

The Trump administration had sued to stop the book's publication, claiming it contained classified information that would endanger national security if it were to be released to the general public.

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ruled in favor of Bolton, stating that since the book has already been circulated among numerous journalists and media outlets the question of injunction was mostly moot. Yet he acknowledged in his ruling that Bolton may still have "expose[d] himself to criminal liability" in publishing the exposé.

1980 Supreme Court case may be key

Alan Dershowitz agreed. Dershowitz, the storied Harvard law professor and noted proponent of civil liberties, told Just the News on Saturday that there "may be a basis for a lawsuit against Bolton by the government."

Dershowitz pointed to the 1980 Supreme Court case Snepp v. United States as the controlling precedent. In that case, Frank Snepp — a CIA intelligence analyst in Saigon during the Vietnam War —published the book "Decent Interval" following his departure from the agency.

The government sued Snepp over the book, which was drawn from an after-action report he had written for the CIA following his service in Saigon. The government argued that Snepp had broken his contractual obligation to submit his book to the CIA prior to publication.

The Supreme Court eventually ruled against Snepp, forcing him to surrender his monetary earnings to the federal government and enjoining him from future publication without prepublication review from the government.

Dershowitz represented Snepp in the controlling case. "We argued the rule was unconstitutional. We lost," he told Just the News.

"I don’t approve of that decision," he said. "I think it’s wrong on the law, and I think it's wrong on the Constitution. But it may be a basis for a lawsuit against Bolton by the government."

Kevin Brock, meanwhile — the former FBI assistant director for intelligence — suggested that it appeared Bolton had worked for the Trump administration just to line his own pockets.

"Everybody who’s at the SCS level in government has to sign documentation that they’re not going to disclose information that they collect while they’re performing their duties without first getting approval," Brock said.

Nineveh Criminal Court has sentenced Abu Abd al-Bari, a Sharia official and a former Mufti of ISIS in the city of Mosul to death, Iraqi sources reported on June 21.

Abu Abd al-Bari, whose real name is Shifa’ Ali Basir, was arrested by Nineveh Police Command’s SWAT in the Mansour neighborhood of Mosul earlier this year.

During his work with ISIS, Abu Abd al-Bari preached in many mosques in al-Mosul against Iraqi government forces. He was also responsible for a Fataw [an Islamic rule] that led to the execution of a number of Mosul’s moderate scholars and clerics.

Abu Abd al-Bari, who was born on 1961, was also behind a Fatawa that encouraged the bombing of the Prophet Yunus mosque in July 2014.

In a recent interview with Iraqi authorities, Abu Abd al-Bari acknowledged that he was responsible for the enslavement of many Yazidi girls as well as for the execution of members of the Shiite sect and security forces personnel.

The Iraqi court rule against Abu Abd al-Bari will bring justice to the victims of the terrorist, who wreaked havoc in Mosul for years.

Border Patrol Foils Elaborate Human Smuggling Plot

PINE VALLEY, Calif. — U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Interstate 8 checkpoint near Pine Valley arrested 12 undocumented migrants who were being smuggled within a hay-stack on a tractor-trailer.

The incident occurred on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. when a man driving a white tractor-trailer loaded with hay bales approached the I-8 checkpoint. While the primary agent conducted an immigration inspection, a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to the middle section of the trailer.

Once in secondary, agents inspected the hay-stack load and discovered 12 people hidden inside a void within the stacks of hay.

All 12 were safely removed from the hay-stacks. All were adult male Mexican nationals with no legal right to enter or remain in the U.S.

The driver, a 46-year-old U.S. citizen was booked for alien smuggling.

The tractor-trailer was seized by the U.S. Border Patrol.

“Human smugglers have no regard for life,” said Chief Patrol Agent Aaron M. Heitke. “This tight space within the hay-stacks was not ventilated and was not designed with passenger safety in mind. I am proud of our agents. Their dedication to service and the preservation of life prevented serious harm from befalling these individuals.”

Several videos and social media stories showed up online showing a night of escalation in the German city of Stuttgart as groups of youngsters rioted and looted in the city center of the town.

Accoring to police officials the situation seems to have been a spontaneous release of already exisiting tensions based on the current global situation.

Police said the riots happened after police conducted checks in the city center related to suspected drug dealing. Several groups then ganged up on police and started to threaten the officers. Police were "confronted in an extremely aggressive manner, attacked and injured," a police report said.

Shortly after 3 a.m., the situation appeared to have calmed.

Authorities said several hundred people were involved in the riots, which took place in the Stuttgart's central shopping district and lasted for several hours. Several businesses and vehicles were damaged.

Later Sunday, Mayor Fritz Kuhn wrote on Twitter that he was "shocked about the violent outbreak." He said it was "a sad Sunday for Stuttgart" and that authorities would analyze the situation "thoroughly." He retweeted a video from regional public television SWR that shows some of the events.

In my opinion at least, it is completely unacceptable for pastebin to be deleting our dough and interfering with our baking process.

So a few of us got together and decided to build an alternative.

Bakers have been testing it in some bakes already, and it's now ready for use in real, production bakes. If the main address at qanonbin.com doesn't work then there is probably an ongoing DDoS against 8kun/VanwaNet, try the backup address at www2.qanonbin.com instead.

Currently this site is intended for qresearch dough and notables only. Anons are welcome to try it out, but one of the goals is to have a clean record of the qr dough, so test pastes and other things that are unrelated to qresearch activities will be deleted periodically.

Use of this site is at bakers' discretion. The hope is that it will be an alternative to pastebin that is simply better for our uses in every way, and time will tell that it is stable and free of fuckery. However, bakers know that resiliency in the kitchen is always needed, and pastebin.com and others such as textbin.net are not going anywhere.

If anons want a dedicated alternative that supports free speech for diggs, that would need to be a separate site that is set up to handle higher volume and more variety of content.

‘Trump May be Called in to Testify’ – Nadler Announces Investigation Into Firing of Mueller Hack SDNY US Attorney Geoffrey Berman

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced his committee will be launching an investigation into US Attorney General Bill Barr’s firing of SDNY US Attorney Geoffrey Berman.

Barr on Friday fired Mueller hack and US Attorney Geoffrey Berman and nominated Jay Clayton to replace him.

The crooked attorney refused to step down and released a statement of his own, which Barr referred to as a ‘public spectacle.’

Berman’s office was the lead in several high profile cases assembled by Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann.

Nadler accused Barr of ‘caring little about the law’ in a statement on Saturday and asserted that Berman’s firing “smacks of corruption and incompetence” because the US Attorney’s office is engaged in probes aimed at Trump’s inner circle.

Nadler said that Trump may also be called in for testimony.

Nadler’s full statement:

“Last night, Attorney General Bill Barr told us that Geoffrey Berman of the SDNY had resigned—which was untrue. Today, Barr told us that the President asked him to fire Mr. Berman—which may also be untrue, given that the President says he had nothing to do with the decision. The whole thing smacks of corruption and incompetence, which is what we have come to expect from this President and his Attorney General.

“Neither the President nor the Department of Justice have offered any explanation for Mr. Berman’s purported dismissal. We know that the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York is engaged in investigations aimed at President Trump’s inner circle. We know, from revelations earlier this week, that the President wanted to have ‘his own people’ in that office to help him with his personal and political needs. And we know that, time and time again, Bill Barr has reached into ongoing criminal investigations in order to protect the President from their consequences. The American people are right to be outraged. Barr may sit in the office of the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, but he clearly cares very little about the law.

“The House Judiciary Committee will immediately open an investigation into this incident, as part of our broader investigation into Barr’s unacceptable politicization of the Department of Justice. On Wednesday, the Committee will hear from two whistleblowers who will explain why Barr’s attempt to fire Mr. Berman is part of a larger, ongoing, and wholly unacceptable pattern of conduct. Police Officers Guild President Blasts Seattle Leadership Following Deadly Shooting at CHAZ/CHOP

Police Officers Guild President Michael Solan blasted Seattle’s leadership on Saturday for enabling the conditions that are making it unsafe for police officers to do their job in the city.

Two people were shot, one fatally, at CHAZ/CHOP early Saturday morning. Police had difficulty getting to the victim to help him due to the extreme lawlessness allowed to take over the area by the mayor.

“Early this morning, that violence was raw and real where one of our community members lost their life, and police are still not allowed into that area and were prevented to providing that police service to the area to locate victims and/or render aid. [It’s] very troubling what’s going on,” Solan said on Fox News.

“And again, we’re left wondering, what’s next?” he asked. “And, now our elected officials have removed our ability to have less lethal chemical munitions that are effective for us to disburse unruly, violent crowds to protect those police facilities, let alone ourselves.”

Solan called the situation “very, very troubling” and urged people across the nation to be aware of what is happening there.

“So, we’re in a very, very troubling time in Seattle, and it’s deeply concerning that everybody across this country needs to be aware of what’s going on in Seattle,” he said.

Rioters took over a six square block area of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood earlier this month. They have been allowed to continue their game with the blessing of Mayor Jenny Durkan. She has compared the chaos to a “block party.”

“It’s not an armed takeover. It’s not a military junta. We will make sure that we can restore this. But we have block parties and the like in this part of Seattle all the time. It’s known for that,” Mayor Durkan said.

President Donald Trump also blasted the takeover during his rally Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“So, they take over a big chunk of a city called Seattle. We are not talking about some little place. We’re talking about Seattle. Have you ever been to Seattle?” Trump said. “They took over a big chunk. And the governor who is radical left — all of these places I talk about are Democrat. You know that. Every one of them.”

“Any time you want, we’ll come in. We’ll straighten it out in one hour or less. Now, I may be wrong, but it’s probably better for us to just to watch that disaster,” Trump added.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Sunday the victory of his own ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in the country's parliamentary elections as the formal counting of votes is still underway.

Exit polls have indeed suggested that SNS is winning the vote, as did the preliminary results from the Republic Electoral Commission after reviewing ballots from a little more than 2 percent of polling stations. Final results are expected to be announced no later than in 96 hours after the voting ends.

"Tonight we received the greatest trust of people, the greatest in Serbia's history, in conditions where few people believed in it. We received a great warning from the people that we should be even more responsible and diligent," Vucic said in the SNS campaign headquarters, adding that the party's victory was "impressive and convincing."

According to preliminary results, SNS is leading the race with 63.35 percent of the vote, followed by Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic's Socialist Party of Serbia with 10.67 percent.

Shootings skyrocket after NYPD disbands 'anti-crime' units: 'This is what the politicians wanted'

The New York Police Department announced last week that it would disband its controversial "anti-crime units," impacting about 600 NYPD officers who patrolled in plainclothes.

The move was applauded by those who seek immediate police reform in the wake of the tragic killing of George Floyd.

"This is a seismic shift in the culture of how the NYPD polices this great city. It will be felt immediately in the communities that we protect," New York Police Commissioner Dermot F. Shea said.

Unfortunately for New Yorkers, the impact of the reform was immediate — but it was not positive.

According to the New York Post, shootings in the city surged after the NYPD disbanded the plainclothes units. In fact, between Monday, the day Shea made his announcement, and Saturday, there had been 28 shooting incidents with 38 victims. The shootings accumulated at least five deaths.

By comparison, there had only been 12 shootings over the entire week during the same time period last year, the Post noted.

"This is what the politicians wanted — no bail, nobody in Rikers, cops not arresting anyone," a law enforcement official told the Post. "All those things equal people walking around on the street with guns, shooting each other."

As of June 20, there have been 97 shooting incidents in New York City, a significant increase from the 89 incidents during the entire month of June last year.

On Saturday alone, 19 New Yorkers were injured in more than a dozen shootings, the Washington Examiner reported.

"Attorneys for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein touted his close friendship with Bill Clinton and even claimed the billionaire helped start Clinton's controversial family foundation in a 2007 letter aimed at boosting his image during plea negotiations." [2]

In a 2007 letter from Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyers (Alan Dershowitz and Gerald Lefcourt) to the U.S. Attorney’s office in the Southern District of Florida, Epstein claimed he was part of the original group that conceived the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). CGI was renamed the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation in 2013. The 2007 letter aimed to boost Epstein’s image and may have contributed to his successful plea bargain on the charge of using underage girls in a sex ring. The letter says Epstein hosted Bill Clinton on a 1-month trip to Africa regarding the AIDS crisis. [1]

Whether Epstein was an actual founder of the foundation or exaggerated his role in a phony effort to appear altruistic is not clear. He is not cited in official paperwork filed by the Clinton Global Initiative as a founder or director. Bill Clinton publicly credited longtime assistant Doug Band as conceiving of the idea. [2]

Epstein supported the Clinton Foundation financially. In 2014 a whistleblower released the names of super-rich individuals who held Swiss accounts at HSBC. Pursuing the whistleblower's data, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists then documented transfers of $81 million from HSBC Swiss accounts to The Clinton Foundation. This $81M included money from Epstein (and presumably from others). Epstein had various accounts totaling $3.5 million, the investigative journalists group revealed and, in 2006, directed $25,000 to The Clinton Foundation. [2]

In 1995, at the age of 22, Band began to work as an unpaid intern in Bill Clinton's White House, eventually becoming Clinton’s "body man", and he continued to work with the former President as he set up the Clinton Foundation. [5]

Band later worked for the William J. Clinton Foundation, and traveled to North Korea to orchestrate the release of two Americans and to Cuba to help secure the release of American Alan Gross. [6]

Band negotiated with the Obama Administration to appoint then-Senator Hillary Clinton to become Secretary of State. [6]

It appears that James Comey (who is actually a lawyer by trade) also has long history of cases ending favorable to Clintons, including the case of Sandy Berger, a former Clinton Administration aid. During the Berger probe, Comey said publicly that ‘we take issues of classified information very seriously’, all the while seeming to undermine the scope of the investigation – presumably to protect the Clintons.
