I've been emailing RMS. (Regarding the GCC plugins, etc)

RMS isn't going to do anything about GRSecurity because Bradly Kuhn, a non-lawyer who stabbed RMS in the back recently

>ebb.org/bkuhn/blog/2019/10/15/fsf-rms.html

, said nothing can be done.

What the FUCK?

RMS says "No evidence right?" and "I'm not part of the FSF anymore" and "wasn't it agreed that nothing could be done?"

There is in-writing evidence:

Has he forgotten about this:

Has he ever heard of "Discovery"?

Subpoena the customer list,

then subpoena the customers.

I told him the contributors to the FSF codebase should sue to recover their copyrights on the basis of fraud in the inducement then.

Why are these free-software people such fucking FAGGOTS that WONT SUE?

(And yes: you can recover donations to organizations that misuse your donation / don't do what you've instructed in atleast NY and California)

Bradly Kuhn is NOT A LAWYER: he's just a FAGGOT with a Bachelors degree, RMS BELIEVES HIM, and ignores actual lawyers. Is RMS a senile idiot?

Grsecurity has added such an additional term when it distributes the derivative work to distributees,

which the GCC and linux copyright holders have forbidden.

I've been emailing RMS about this Grsecurity GCC and Linux kernel violation issue. RMS feels that "nothing can be done" about Grsecurity. "We decided that" because Bradly Kuhn (who is not a lawyer) said so. This is pathetic, and bullshit.

The GPL has teeth, but they're not attached to a jaw.

Dear RMS; If you don't want to defend free software in the courts anymore, if you don't want to be involved at all, maybe you need to make an announcement. People still look up to you as "the head", but if you want to be an "old decrepit man with no drive" now... you need to tell everyone about your retirement.

This "we can't do anything" thought is complete bullshit from Bradly Kuhn, and whatever other morons you're hanging out with these days: it does NOT come from ANY ip lawyers. You have a good case on the GCC side, and the linux kernel copyright holders have a great case, atleast on the law (now on recovery...)

You can nail these people (Grsecurity) to a pillar.

But you won't encourage that.

You've sold the GPL dream down the BSD river. Why? Because some women complained about your opinions? This is pathetic, get some testosterone injections and fight.

What are you afraid of? Grsecurity suing you for libel too? They are blatantly violating the GPL. Section 6 and section 4. They are both civilly liable for damages, and (since they've made over 1k off of their direct copyright infringement) criminally liable. That is: Bradly spengler aswell as those assisting him.

Why should any of us (mostly men) programmers have anything to do with Free Software if YOU will not bear your teeth once in awhile and force compliance with the license you have asked us to use: to put fear into those who would otherwise violate it and bar us from the full fruits of our programmatic efforts?

Tell me that? Or do you just not care if men contribute to Free Software anymore: You think the womenPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

I'm trying to rent a VPS for hosting Nextcloud. Every provider I've tried flagged my order as "potentially high risk" and blocked it going through.

I think they have a problem with me using a VPN, but I don't see why because I gave them my name, my address, my gmail, my phone number, and my debit card.

Any VPS providers who aren't going to screw with me? Preferably high storage, low memory offering.

have you heard of identity theft? the people who do it use VPNs. What about "giving a bunch of information" distinguishes your transaction from an actually fraudulent one? What you can do is get screwed around with more by talking with support and giving them a picture of you holding your license up.

For instance, when I drive my 4 YO son down the road, I try to engage him about the scenery around us

It's disturbing when we get in vehicles with other families and their little shitheads are begging for devices to stick their faces in and my son is asking relevant questions like "where are we going?"

Around 10 years ago some one from Intel mad a deal with some one at HP to prevent AMD laptops in the most popular sizes from being sold in retail stores. I have bought 12 HP laptops and I wear them out running them 14 hours a day 7 days a week. This in now over an HP has got their act together. Walmart is selling HP laptops with SSD drives for $250. I should mention that I but HP laptops because they have two copies of the operating system and it is very easy to reload the operating system. So far the new HP's with SSD drives don't have this feature. I expect this to turn around when the drives have a bit more capacity. A better option is the business models. They have slots for both 2.5 inch drives and PCIe drives. It is possible to copy your operating system on both drives. Then if there is a problem it is only a matter of changing the boot drive. Files can then be read from the other drive. Iran has a virus that can corrupt your boot sector so expect you own government to deploy this if they don't like what you are doing.

Are there any security camera solutions that offer person detection which is NOT reliant on a 3rd party network? For instance, the old Wyze Cam firmware had person detection that was handled by the camera unit, not an outside network. Wyze deactivated this because of software licensing issues (not to mention their security issues).

I'd like to find something that won't give me a ton of false positives (shadows/headlights) but also won't require Jeff Bezos or China analyzing my stream.

The disclaimer is also the culprit as to why there is no sudo/operate board or any way to contact jim/ron since they're part of the administration. I think they don't plan to post here anyways.

That makes sense logically but I don't think that's really the reason. Ron would probably just be too lazy to look at it more than twice a year and Jim is too much of a boomer to post on here.
