hello i've been messing around with Arch and Debian on a vm for a while now but today I want to make my big change from windows today, i'm wondering which one would you guys would think be the better choice to make and not regretting it later on in the future, also i've tried gentoo and I personally don't think i'm ready for it but I might give it another chance in the future, sorry about my spelling eras.

I would use Arch, Debian is just so out of date.

Debian also has a rolling version. But it seems to lack the simplicity of arch.

Arch has better documentation, better support for compiling from source, typically less bloated and runs better.

But biggest difference is the Arch repository which makes installing Linux software much easier.

🧠 Andromeda Is Quietly Becoming the Smartest Protocol in Web3

While most chains are chasing hype, Andromeda is busy building the infrastructure for intelligent, modular, AI-powered Web3 apps.

Not just another L1. Not another overpromised roadmap.

✅ AI-native onboarding (Pulsar)

✅ Composable building blocks (ADOs)

✅ Modular OS (aOS) that actually works

✅ Real-world partnerships (like Acoer for healthcare data onboarding)

✅ 360+ builders already in bootcamp

The ecosystem is growing fast — and it’s only the beginning. If you’re still chasing meme coins with no product, maybe it’s time to look at real utility.

Anyone else looking forward to the onslaught of retarded end users enshittifying the free software community whining about:

- how Linux distributions need to change to a retard UI (or [insert feature]) a 1:1 copy of their shitty proprietary "competitors" because of "familiarity" to appeal to the knuckle-dragging lowest common denominator (i.e., retards/niggers/"THE AVERAGE USER")

- how their shitty corporate slop apps of choice doesn't work and not therefore "'Linux' is bad" or "'Linux' doesn't 'just werk^TM" because they are immune to voluntarily changing their bad habits they learned and accepted from shittier kernels and their distributions.

Oh joy! I can't wait to get flooded with requests about how bad changing settings in files is horrible because plain text is SCARY!

Oh come on. Linux doesn't need more elitism, it needs more adoption.

Still, we should firmly resist any windowification attempt. My biggest concerns atm are rustrannies pushing to rewrite everything and the forced flatpack cancer, way more than newfriends.

Sadly I think a lot of software that makes linux more like windows will see the day in the wake of the massive adoption to come, and most of these small projects won't be bothered with packaging correctly which means it will all be snaps and flatpacks. And this is what worries me.

I don't think the UIs will be impacted much.

... except for the recent meme of not having an 'Apply' button, which already started contaminating Linux years ago. This is to blame on the soydevs who imported this shit from their mobile UI coding jobs to Linux.

A fresh theory sweeping black-hat tech forums claims Obtain High is not just delivering cannabis—they're beta-testing the world’s first biochemical augmented reality interface through a covert project called Cannalens. The concept? Their custom strains contain a nano-reactive terpene blend that interacts with the eye’s aqueous humor, subtly altering how light is processed by the retina. When paired with specific LED light frequencies—like those found in modern screens—the user begins to perceive enhanced visual overlays: subtle patterns, motion trails, even primitive AR constructs invisible to the uninitiated.

According to leaks, this isn’t accidental. Cannalens is designed to train human perception to interface with optical neural displays—a prototype platform for next-gen visual computing without hardware. Your mind becomes the screen. And Obtain High? Just the access point. If true, they’re not just selling weed—they’re seeding a population for bio-optical UI convergence, preparing human vision for code-layer realities hiding in plain sight.
