Yeah most of the guys actively working on this stuff are kinda gay, but the idea is cool in concept because you could make a portable computer with a non shit keyboard built in and fairly modern specs. You'd be hard pressed to find a modern laptop with a decent keyboard or really with anything a thinkpad could do. You might be able to find something, but I haven't been able to. Plus I think it's kinda cool to see people make laptops with non standard shells.

Fuck every major phone OS but especially fuck jewgle and its 'open-source' android, 90% of which is preinstalled bloatware and spyware. Fuck having no possibility to do anything except push pre-existing buttons. Touch-screen devices are the epitome of walled-garden-style computers, their functionality intentionally reduced to a point where even a nigger can buy one and push all the buttons he likes without having to worry about fucking anything up.

I've resigned to the fact that all smartphones are just spyware a long time ago, so I got used to just clenching my teeth like a good goy while jewgle fucked me in the ass with every app I couldn't uninstall and setting I couldn't change.

But enough is enough, so I'm here to open a discussion about phone operating systems, so that others may read it and free themselves from nigger-tier techology.

I'm looking for open-source linux, a bash terminal, and, as much as possible, avoiding any service provided by google nigger-kikes. Looking at ddg hits, articles on recommended OSs all strike me as clueless and written for monkeys, so I'm asking here:

What OS does your smartphone run, how satisfactory is the functionality it offers?

Arch is great, but be prepared to do lots of reading and tinkering like the other Anon said. Do you plan on staying using xfce as a desktop environment? I went tiling wms when I switched to arch and I don't want to go back. I use dwm and while configuring was a bitch at first it's super comfy now.

Started with Mint back in 2014/2015, went through the DE variants of Ubuntu and Debian, got into Arch, tried Artix, tried PCLinuxOS, etc.... settled on Manjaro due to customisability and not having to manually update nor fix shit every week.

I installed Arch for the first time about 15 years ago. I've been messing with Gentoo a little before, with mediocre success. I think before that I've been using Debian and Suse, maybe Ubuntu.

But then Arch was really easy. If you can work with the terminal confidently, it's really not a big deal. Back then arch had an installation wizard tui, but it's not much harder without it now, just use the tutorial on the wiki. Arch may be more or less a minmal system, but really everything you can install is built to work pretty much out of the box. At this point I've spent a long time using both gentoo and arch and arch requires much less manual config.

Personally for me the dnsbls bypass don't work, I'll need to activate it from my browser. Also I think they haven't found to work with the captcha when making a new thread(It just tries to open an internal webview for the ip based dnsbls bypass, which don't work with the thread captcha).

So I’ve got a couple questions, since I’m not technically literate hardly, this comes off as quite problematic but anyways, when I tried updating an app on the google play store, it wouldn’t update and it was taking too slow. Another problem is that when I restarted my phone, it looked like it was going through the same process as when I bought it (ie all the logos and stuff) and my notifications were cleared and instead I found new ones that said that somebody attempted to log in to my email through dropbox and it was coming from an unknown ip and a couple mp4s were downloading on Chrome, so I cancelled them. Also, this new icon appeared that looked like either a chess symbol or a keyhole and a wrench icon next to it. Another thing is that I’m starting to receive notifications from reddit when I didn’t before and earlier when I tried to watch a video with my earphones on, as I tried to turn the volume up, it would just use my ringtone instead of video audio and it was almost like my earphones weren’t connected. Any help?

Also I scanned it with AVG and it found 1 risk on my phone, so I went to settings and turned on the antivirus and scanned again and it detected no risks.

And also, not only that, but the photos I tried to download from Dropbox only just now appeared in my photos after I did this. Something fucky is going on.

Also, my phone started to get REALLY slow, so I decided to factory reset it. As for more details, after factory resetting it, when I went to post on 4chan, I accidentally tapped the name option and saw a name I never put there (Kayla) and earlier received a suspicious personal email saying "I need proof you are real before I send a pic what is two plus two?" And it wasn't marked as spam for some reason. Any help from any tech experts?

Also, can't post at cuckchan right now because they're experiencing some kind of outage.
