World Bank pledges debt clearance support for Zimbabwe
HARARE, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) – The World Bank on Wednesday said it will offer technical support to Zimbabwe as it seeks to implement a debt arrears clearance plan, dubbed the Lima plan agreed with global lenders in Peru in 2015.
Zimbabwe owes the World Bank over 1 billion U.S. dollars in debt arrears, which led the global lender to suspend balance of payment support to the southern African country in 2000.
The near two decades long isolation from the international community restricted financial aid flows and resulted in a build-up of arrears to multilateral and bilateral partners including the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the IMF.
However, the country has only managed to clear debt arrears owed to the IMF in fulfillment of the debt clearance plan.
The clearance of the arrears to the global lenders would facilitate access to much needed financing from international financial institutions.
World Bank vice president for Africa Hafez Ghanem told Zimbabwean media after a meeting with President Emmerson Mnangagwa in New York that the two had discussed the possibility of the bank providing technical support to Zimbabwe, the state news agency New Ziana reported Thursday.
Ghanem said he was aware that Zimbabwe, through its finance ministry and the Central Bank, was fervently working on implementing the Lima plan, which is crucial towards the attainment of Mnangagwa's vision 2030.
"We will be in contact with them (Zimbabwean Minister of Finance and central bank governor) to work on that (Lima plan) and also to look at the future how the World Bank and Zimbabwe's cooperation can be strengthened and how we can move beyond the debt clearance," he said.
Zimbabwe has also sought support for the Lima plan from its former colonial master, Britain, at next month's annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank in Bali, Indonesia.
Zimbabwe's new administration has placed emphasis on economic growth, and re-engagement with the international community as it takes steps to fulfill the "open for business" mantra which seeks to enable greater foreign direct investment inflows.
Successful implementation of the Lima plan also requires Zimbabwe to implement a raft of economic reforms including reducing the fiscal deficit, stabilizing the monetary system but most importantly resolving the arrears issue to allow for a resumption of development financing.
Zimbabwe is also required to reform its public sector and reduce the high wage bill which currently accounts for more than 90 percent of the national budget, which is funded entirely on taxes.

While trying to get the children's attention, the actress, who spent a few years living in Dubai, can also be heard shouting Arabic phrases in a what sounds like a Middle Eastern accent.

Under the Rules of Professional Conduct (American Bar Association Rule 1.4), Dr. Ford’s lawyers had a fiduciary responsibility to fully, honestly, and promptly convey that offer to their client. Dr. Ford’s response and demeanor suggested that they hadn’t fully explained Grassley’s offer to her.
At the time, Mitchell’s question seemed to be just an afterthought following others about her fear of flying in general. Dr. Ford’s answers there were equally obtuse. She admitted to flying regularly to places that included Hawaii, Costa Rica, French Polynesia, and Tahiti.
So, was her fear of flying real or was it used as a ruse to delay her testimony so that other staged events would have time to unfold. Oh, say things like protests to be organized, additional incredible accusers to come forward, and the rolling out of a mainstream media blitz to personally destroy Brett Kavanaugh.
For that to be the case, not only would Dr. Ford’s attorneys need to be involved but, at least one influential senator from the Judiciary Committee would’ve been required to orchestrate the committee’s response.
Dr. Ford’s attorneys, Debra Katz and Michael Bromwich, are both actively engaged in the resistance movement against Donald Trump. In fact, Bromwich resigned from his law firm to take this case for which he is receiving no compensations. Or, is he and from whom?
Senator Dianne Feinstein, who kept Dr. Ford’s letter secret for 45 days had, over the summer, recommended to Dr. Ford that Katz represent her. This was a serious and obvious conflict of interest by Feinstein, especially in light of how she orchestrated the rest of artificially constructed case against Brett Kavanaugh..
Dr. Ford had testified that she spoke directly with Senator Feinstein on only one occasion. She also testified that conversation occurred on or before August 7th while she was in Delaware. That was more than five weeks before the letter became public.
Given the manner in which Feinstein and her attorneys subsequently breached Dr. Ford’s confidence it strongly suggests that Feinstein deliberately inserted activist attorney Debra Katz into Dr. Ford’s camp for the purpose of turning this into exactly what it has become – a sh*tshow intended to delay the confirmation process while her media allies set about destroying Judge Kavanaugh.
As Fox News’ legal correspondent Gregg Jarrett notes:
“The very senator who Ford trusted to keep her story confidential encouraged the professor to his Democratic-activist lawyers who may have been motivated to push for a public hearing in defiance of their client’s wishes is extraordinarily significant.”

I've thought about sharing my story all week to show how this woman is full of it.
I had a remarkably similar incident in high school, where a bunch us band nerds had a party that was crashed by the football team after a football game. I not going into specific detail, but I can tell you the neighborhood, the house, the color of the house at the time, homeowner, house layout and what was on the kitchen table. I can tell you who was there with exact certainty and incidents that occurred to whom and with whom. This was the same timeframe as Ford's. I recall detail. She can give none.
I just related this story to my husband this week, along with 2 other incidents that happened in my younger years. I did not snivel, my voice didn't crack. What happened to me was worse than what happened to her. I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist as she is. She should be trained in coping skills.
Do people handle things differently? Absolutely.
My point is this: events get burned in your memory if they affect you so deeply. There is no guessing, there is no maybe. If you are repressing things, then she, as a trained therapist (and professor) should be able to employ her own techniques to bring those memories back.
The holes in her story are not pot holes. They are breaches in a dam.

The purpose of quarantining a community is to prevent its content from being accidentally viewed by those who do not knowingly wish to do so, or viewed without appropriate context. Quarantined subreddits and their subscribers are still fully obliged to abide by Reddit’s Content Policy and remain subject to enforcement measures.
Quarantined communities will display a warning that requires users to explicitly opt-in to viewing the content. They generate no revenue, do not appear in non-subscription-based feeds (eg Popular), and are not included in search or recommendations. Reddit may also enforce a number of additional product restrictions that exist currently or as they may develop in the future (eg removing custom styling tools).
The idea of Reddit redirecting people away from this open source subreddit to the official 9/11 Commission website is as ironic as it is ominous— as the 9/11 commission admitted it was railroaded in their own investigation and it is full of controversy.
Not only were the commissioners given extremely limited funds to conduct their investigation, but they were also met with dead ends in almost every direction.
For starters, only $15 million was given to investigate 9/11. Compare that to the over $60 million that was spent investigating Clinton’s affairs with Monica and the travesty becomes greater. This was the largest act of murder in recent US history, and more money was spent investigating a philandering president!
Also, Senator Max Cleland, who resigned from the 9/11 Commission after calling it a “national scandal,” stated in a 2003 PBS interview,

I am saying that the delay in relating this information to the American public out of a hearing… series of hearings, that several members of Congress knew eight or ten months ago, including Bob Graham and others, that was deliberately slow walked… the 9/11 Commission was deliberately slow walked, because the Administration’s policy was, and its priority was, we’re gonna take Saddam Hussein out.
In 2006, the Washington Post reported that several members of the 9/11 Commission suspected deception on part of the Pentagon. As reported,

They have been caught countless times deceiving the American people and Reddit wants you to get your information solely from them in regards to one of the most controversial and deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil. What’s more, the government themselves has admitted that their path to investigate 9/11 was tainted with corruption and cover-ups and the government was already exposed lying about it.
FBI agents have come forward claiming they were railroaded by the CIA when they had information that the attack was going to take place—claiming it was preventable. Thousands of architects and engineers have come forward challenging the government’s account of why the three building collapsed that day. And, the US government admitted to covering up Saudi Arabia’s role in 9/11. These and many other reasons are why subreddits like r/9/11truth exist and are necessary.
Is there misinformation out there in regards to 9/11? Undoubtedly. But if Reddit claims that the only arbiters of truth are the biggest proven liars in the world, then they are doing a disservice to their users and should be exposed for it.
