You'll have a hard time finding anything in particular unless you make a screencap of the post(s), or keep a running list of your ID's and the bread #'s you were in. You could also save the page from your browser or print to pdf. My mom just copies the raw text into notepad kek.
We have no search function (yet). Anons have been working on fixing that for a while. But if you save pdfs, you can use your system browser to search for topics, dates, etc.
If someone answers you, you'll see a ( you) in small black letters next to your post # for as long as you stay in the bread. Use Crtl+f to find them quickly. But as soon as you close the page, it will disappear. Unless you keep track of your post numbers, you generally won't know if someone answers you at a later time.
But there is no in-your-face notification system like twatter or faceberg, if that's what you mean.
Also, idiots (mostly) like to write ( you)'s within their own posts just to be funny and mess up people looking for legit ( you)'s. Font size makes a difference there.
Another note: breads eventually fall off the main board and end up in the beta archive thingie at the top of the Catalog page. Posts will be saved but images are generally lost at that point. This is why Q/we stress about archiving offline.

I don't think you can know which bread the post number is until you click it. Here's a tip. At the top right of the bread, click on Options. Under the General category, click Color IDs. Refresh the bread for the change to take effect. Now each ID will be highlighted in colors. If you're on a PC/Laptop, and hover your mouse over the "relied to" post number, the hover box will display the post, and if it's in a previous bread, the ID will not be in color.
This doesn't work on a mobile device.
What's helpful for me is to open it in a different tab. (Right click on PC, press and hold on mobile.
And back to original question of knowing which bread, there will be a description on the tab, or at the top of the bread.

I tried this earlier today… to embed a video using a hooktube link, and i got an error message saying something like 'we did not recognize the format of your URL".
I ended up dropping the vid into the 'select/drop/paste files here' box, which worked, but the video preview box was 2x bigger than all other images/embeds i've seen on here. I noticed that it had been resized by someone (Board owner?) when i went back to check my post…

The Resources Library at the top of each bread has a lot of valuable info such as this:

Another way to pinpoint which bread a post is in, if you've got a number of breads loaded in tabs, is to compare the number of the post to the number that appears after /res/ in a tjread's URL. That will be the number of the very first post in that bread. If you have breads lined up sequentially, you can figure out by comparing numbers in the URLs which bread a post is in.
This is not always true, sometimes a post can land in another non-related thread, because every post on the entire board is numbered in sequence when it's posted, not just in sequence with the posts around it in a thread. Confused yet? :) Read my post a few times, it took me a while to figure it all out.

Do not Bump - On the chans threads (or breads) will age with no one posting in them, and eventually "fall off the board". When someone posts a reply in a thread they "bump" the thread. Pushing it back to the top of the page - thus helping the thread stay alive for more people to see and respond to. In that way, these "commoners" traded serfdom for the opportunity to effective be their own lord, and that incentive allowed them to become "rich" and hire workers, purchase slaves either as chattel or via indentured servitude (time-limited "slavery/servitude)
Feel free to read the rest of the history of the (mostly) commoners than became rich and famous despite not being borm as "nobles" (i..e. landed gentry) and were free to pass their wealth down to their descendants (to the extent they were able).
Land grants and very inexpensive land encourage more people to come and we expanded accordingly.

Some of my own ancestors came here in 1630-1640 under those conditions - all commoners, no English noble, Just colonists, and after throwing off the King, became Americans.

Each later generation built upon the sacrifices of those before them. More people should realize that rather than presume there was some "unearned wealth" that was their "birthright" that someone "stole".

Since the Mueller investigation is responsible for multiple felonies committed in order to get fraudluent warrants from the FISA court to place Trump under surveillance, Trump would have to be an accessory to those crimes if Sessions, Mueller, et al were secretly working for Trump.

When one of the bakers was kicked out of the Q group and the rest switched over to /qresearch/ from, /cbts/, codemonkey made the fraudulent claim that he had created "super secure trips" which was used as the excuse for why Q had to change his tripcode. However, that claim by codemonkey was a complete lie. Regular tripcodes only accept 8 letters in the password, and they disregard all subsequent digits (typing #12345678 will result in the same tripcode as typing #12345678910dszfgafegwhatever). To make a tripcode more secure, you would have to enable longer passphrases. However, you can go to /cbts/ or this board and see that the trips only take 8 characters. Codemonkey lied in order to lock out one of the bakers (the baker mods are the people actually acting as Q). So my question to codemonkey is. did you really think no one would figure out your con? Also, do you work directly for china or do you contract from shareblue?

Been on since practically the beginning in October 2017, when it first transitioned off of half chan, Lurked and read virtually everything before posting.
