I have not written about the recent events in/around Ukraine because none of it makes sense and all of the information flows through the prism of ‘western’ intelligence propaganda.

According to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy {SEE HERE}, he has removed and replaced the entire leadership apparatus of the Ukraine military. This follows his removal of 35-year-old Mykhailo Fedorov from the defense ministry last week {CITATION} that led to massive protests against Zelenskyy and armed forces Chief Gen. Oleksandr Syrskiy, who was also eventually replaced.

As the story is told the young Defense Minister Mykailo Fedorov was very well regarded and was the person responsible for the successful technological advancements in military drone use. 35-year-old Fedorov was a close working partner with Palantir head Alex Karp who is assisting Ukraine in their drone development and deployment.

If the drone development and deployment was such a massive success, as pronounced in all western and Ukraine statements, then why would Zelenskyy remove such a critical and effective Defense Minister?This makes no sense.

Additionally, if Chief General Oleksandr Syrskiy was such an effective combatant commander, and if Russia was indeed pushed back on their heels by both Syrskiy’s campaign and Fedorov’s drones,then why would Ukraine disrupt their entire military leadership apparatus while they are winning such well publicized victories. Again, none of this makes sense.

These moves by President Zelenskyy are akin to President Trump firing Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine, while saying they were doing an exceptional job on Operation Epic Fury in Iran. See the problem?

None of these moves by Ukraine President Zelenskyy make any sense against the background story of them having incredible success against Russia. You don’t replace the entire military leadership apparatus if things are going swimmingly. However, it seems that no one in western media even fathoms the obvious conflicts in the narrative.

The young defense minister Fedorov, responsible for the well-publicized and celebrated victories in the use of drone warfare does not summarily get dispatched unless there is some underlying reason. Something is not adding up.

Less than 24 hours after Loomer arrived in Kiev to begin broadcasting her pro-Zelenskyy propaganda effort, it was announced that FBI Director Kash Patel will be traveling to Russia{Citation}.

“FBI Director Kash Patel is planning to visit Russia later this year, likely in mid-October, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the situation.” … “Patel is scheduled to visit Russia on Oct. 14-15, first stopping in Moscow and then St. Petersburg.”

♦ Western media says Ukraine is achieving massive victories against Russia using drones.

♦ The leading military organizer of Ukraine drone development and use is then summarily fired, no reason given.

♦ The top general responsible for conducting the military operations delivering massive victories for Ukraine is then also fired – due to street protests against him.

Call me a simple-minded person, but these things don’t make sense if things are going swimmingly.

House approves bill restricting lawmakers’ ability to purchase and sell stocks

Democrats said the bill was “corrupted” with the add-on of a provision from the controversial SAVE America Act.

The House passed a bill Wednesday that would restrict the ability of members of Congress and their families to buy and sell stocks,splitting Democrats over concerns that the language didn’t go far enough.

The Stop Insider Trading Act, the first congressional stock trading ban bill that has received a House floor vote,passed 232-198, with 13 Democrats supporting the legislation.

The legislation had only two Democratic co-sponsors, out of 93 total lawmakers that signed on to the bill. A separate bill that restricted congressional stock trading even further by requiring members and their families to divest from current individually held stock had more significant bipartisan support,but will not be put on the House floor.

Most Democrats say the measure that passed doesn’t go far enough, because it does not include a sell-back requirement.

Rep. Bryan Steil (R-Wis.), the lead sponsor of the bill, said Wednesday ahead of the vote that “it’s time we ban members of Congress from being able to buy individual companies’ shares of stock.Doing so removes even the appearance of impropriety.”

Steil also said the roll-call vote allows every American to know where their member stands on congressional stock trading.

However, alarge number of Democrats may have been deterred from supporting the bill after a voter ID requirement was added ahead of the vote. The added provision was part of the SAVE America Act, a controversial bill heavily supported by President Donald Trump that would mandate proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and would impose strict photo ID requirements.

Rep. Joseph Morelle (D-N.Y.), the top Democrat on the House Administration Committee,called the voter ID provision a “poison pill.”

“Republicans have corrupted their so-called stock trading bill with a decaying piece of the SAVE American Act corpse,” Morelle said during debate on the legislation.

Senate action on congressional stock trading is uncertain. The chamber has not scheduled a vote on its own version of the legislation, which seeks to prevent not only members of Congress and their families but also the president and vice president and their families from owning and trading individual stocks.

Sen. Josh Hawley’s Halting Ownership and Non-Ethical Stock Transactions Act has bipartisan support but goes further than the House’s bill.

Authorities Arrest Fugitive Behind Alleged $547 Million Medicare Fraud

The person is the third individual on the Most Wanted Fraudsters list to be captured in the past five weeks, the FBI director said.

A man on the FBI’s Most Wanted Fraudsters list, accused of a scheme to defraud Medicare of $547 million, was arrested by authorities on Monday.

The foreign national, Khalid Satary, 54, owned and operated multiple diagnostic testing laboratories in the United States between 2016 and 2019 that billed Medicare for “expensive and medically unnecessary genetic tests,” the Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a July 21 statement.

Satary is accused of conspiring with several patient recruiters and telemarketing services to generate unnecessary cancer genetic test samples that were reimbursed by Medicare at the rate of $10,000 to $20,000 per sample.

To run the operation, Satary allegedly paid millions of dollars in bribes and illegal kickbacks to patient recruiters and doctors.

The defendant was initially indicted in 2019. However, Satary was later released on bond, with the condition that he doesn’t work in the healthcare sector. While on bond, Satary allegedly conspired with labs in Texas to continue submitting fraudulent genetic testing claims to Medicare.

A federal arrest warrant was issued against him in December 2022. However, Satary failed to appear for a court hearing and was believed to have escaped the United States. On July 20 this year, the defendant was arrested in the Middle East with a fake Mexican passport using a fake name. He was then transferred to U.S. authorities.

President Trump finally appears to be finally growing tired of Senate Leader John Thune, after repeatedly defending him despite his failure to lead Senate Republicans in passing the SAVE America Act.

While speaking to supporters in Georgia, Trump urged “everybody” to call John Thune and demand that the Senate terminate the filibuster and “approve everything,” including the SAVE Act.

The House of Representatives sent the SAVE Act to the Senate a fourth time on Wednesday while Trump was speaking, attaching it to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and sending the bill to the Senate.

“I have to say Mike Johnson and Congress have done a great job, but we’re having a hard time in the Senate.What they are doing, it’s just not right,” Trump told the crowd while discussing the SAVE America Actat his rally in Marietta, Georgia.

“Congress is going to pass it again. They passed it three times.They are going to pass it again. It’s like the senate is a place you send things when you want them to die.”

Trump continued,“We’re not going to take this any longer, we’re not gonna take it. You know, I’m trying to be nice, trying to be really nice.”

“Look, what they should do, very simple,”Trump said, demanding the Republican controlled Senate terminate the filibuster, “because the Democrats going to do it!”

“The democrats are going to terminate the filibuster as soon as they have a chance and then they go approve Puerto Rico and D.C. as a state, they get four more senators, they’re gonna end up with 12 more congressmen, they’re gonna get like 40 electoral votes,” Trump added.

“If they are allowed to do that, by that time, I’ll be sitting home, and I’m not a big crier; I don’t think you want to see me cry… but I may be crying. I’ll be sitting home, and I’ll say I told them.”

House Judiciary Chair Refers Jack Smith to DOJ for Possible Prosecution Over Deposition

Jim Jordan said that new information received on July 14 showed that Smith’s team likely violated the DOJ’s own internal policy.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) sent a letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ) on July 22 requesting a criminal probe into former special counsel Jack Smith.

In his letter to Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Jordan claimed that Smith, while testifying under oath during his congressional deposition last year, “seemingly made willfully and intentionally false statements of material fact that contradict new documents obtained by the Committee” from the DOJ.

Smith’s lawyers deny the allegation and say he testified truthfully.

Smith was appointed in November 2022 by then-Attorney General Merrick Garland to oversee investigations into President Donald Trump, who at the time was a private citizen.

In January, Smith told a House panel that the decision to obtain senators’ phone records was in line with DOJ policy.

In the July 22 letter, Jordan said that during the DOJ’s investigation of allegations concerning the 2020 election, codenamed Arctic Frost, and the subsequent special counsel investigation, investigators “unconstitutionally subpoenaed phone records for over a dozen Republican Members of Congress and obtained gag orders to prevent the Members from knowing that the Biden-Harris Administration had obtained these records.”

Jordan wrote that during the Dec. 17, 2025, deposition, the committee advised Mr. Smith that he was “obliged to provide all necessary information that would make his responses truthful and to avoid half-truths or incomplete answers.”

When asked during the deposition whether he or his team ever obtained the content of lawmakers’ communications, Smith answered no. And when asked whether he sought a search warrant for the content of any text messages from members, Smith said, “No, I don’t recall that.”

When pressed whether this was just for toll records, he said: “Correct.”

Toll records are telecommunications files that log telephone call or text message transactions. They can detail call times, durations, source numbers, and destination numbers but do not record the audio or content of conversations.

Jordan cited DOJ records released to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) last week that claimed that more than 40 members of Congress had their text messages viewed by Smith’s team.

Grassley and Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said that they requested the records from the DOJ after receiving legally protected whistleblower disclosures. They also said their own text messages were obtained by Smith’s team.

“Jack Smith’s criminal investigation of President Trump was a runaway train that had no brakes,” Grassley said in a July 14 statement.

Jordan said that new information received on July 14 showed that Smith’s team likely violated the DOJ’s own internal policy and obtained text messages between lawmakers and executive branch officials “that may have included privileged content, without any screening by a filter team for potential privileges.”

Grassley’s office said in a statement: “Communications from Members of Congress pertaining to their official legislative duties are protected from criminal prosecution under the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause. Bypassing a Filter Team evades consideration of additional privileges, such as attorney-client privilege.”

A document uploaded by Grassley’s office on July 14 included a screenshot of emails sent by Smith’s team in which they had discussed receiving texts from “White House phones.” An internal DOJ email dated Aug. 21, 2023, showed Smith’s team talking about obtaining “54 excel files with text messages from White House phones.”

Trump further demanded, “Everybody call John Thune at the Senate. He’s the leader of the Republican Party. And tell him to get this stuff approved!”

President Trumphas long called Thune out for “playing it too soft,” but has seemingly been patient with the RINO Senate Leader.“

He’s only a couple of votes short, but that’s what being a leader is,” Trump said of Thune’s claim that he doesn’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster in March. “That’s part of being a leader. You have to get the votes.”

Trump has also previously questioned Thune’s leadership abilities, calling him out over his repeated refusal to exercise his right as leader and fire MacDonough. “I cannot understand it. A leader has the right to fire the person at will and put somebody else there,” Trump said late last month.

“We get so many negative rulings from her, the parliamentarian. She’s been there for years, and she was put there by Harry Reid and Barack Hussein Obama.”

Instead of calling Thune out by name, Trump has slammed Senate Republicans collectively.

Trump previously went off on Senate Republicans last month after the Democrats revealed their plans to nuke the filibuster when they reclaim the Senate with radical left candidates, expand the Supreme Court, and impose term limits on justices.

Trump has been demanding that Republicans nuke the filibuster since October 2025, but Thune refused to listen. Now, the Democrats are going to overhaul our system of government with their Communist agenda.

Trump said he will no longer call the Democrats “Dumocrats,” and that “The title of DUMB will revert to the Republicans who allowed this horrible calamity to happen to our Party, and our Nation, itself.”

The Large Magellanic Cloud

Have you ever seen another galaxy with your own eyes? The featured image shows the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), one of the closest neighbors of our Milky Way. If you are anywhere south of latitude 20° N (but the further south, the better), you can see it with the unaided eye if you go to a dark sky location, away from big cities and light polution. It is a dwarf irregular galaxy about 163,000 light-years away, and a member of our Local Group of galaxies. Despite being small, with a total mass approximately equivalent to 10% - 20% of the mass of the Milky Way, the LMC is very actively forming stars. This is likely due in part to the gravitational push and pull of tides caused by the Milky Way on the LMC. Some astronomers have predicted that it will collide with the Milky Way in in about 2 billion years.

Mayor Johnson cited numerous immigration enforcement actions that impacted the city in his proposal. This includes Texas officials busing illegal immigrants to Chicago "without notice" or "adequate federal support," which he argued strained city resources.

Army Lieutenant in Uniform Tells America “F*ck Donald Trump” on His Last Day

A U.S. Army First Lieutenant decided to go out with a bang and spit in the face of the Commander-in-Chief and every American who has ever thanked a service member for their sacrifice.

The Gateway Pundit has identified the man in the viral video as Patrick Kyser, who identifies as gay and says he served in the U.S. Army for 14 years.

“So today is my last day wearing this uniform, and I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, f*ck Donald Trump,” Kyser said in the clip.

Kyser accompanied the video with a caption criticizing the Trump administration’s military and foreign policy.

“In the past 14 years, I’ve heard ‘thank you for your service’ many times. The best way to show your thanks to our troops is to vote for politicians who will only put them in harm’s way when absolutely necessary. Not to serve their own egos.”

The video quickly ignited a wave of criticism online, with many users arguing that a commissioned officer should not publicly attack the Commander-in-Chief while still in uniform.

“This Lieutenant is still subject to UCMJ even if it’s his last day in the Army. He’s a disgrace to the uniform. Dishonorable discharge & send him to Fort Leavenworth.”

Others questioned whether Kyser remained subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) at the time the video was recorded, while some defended his right to express his political views after completing his military service.

A service member remains fully subject to the UCMJ until their official military discharge process is complete and their final separation time takes effect (typically midnight on their official separation date).

So, if Patrick Kyser was still an active-duty first lieutenant when he made the video, the Army could theoretically have had jurisdiction to investigate whether the conduct violated the UCMJ.

Whether any action would actually be taken would depend on the timing, the precise facts, and the judgment of the military chain of command. If his discharge had already become effective, the UCMJ generally would no longer apply to this new conduct.
