The name and location of the plant have not been released, but cyberattacks have affected "multiple nuclear power generation sites this year," according to E&E News, which was the first to report the story.

It is not yet clear who launched the attack and whether it is connected to a global cyberattack that crippled several countries and corporations beginning on Tuesday.

The breach was contained to the business-associated side of the plant, officials said. So far, little information has come out about the origins of the hack, code named "Nuclear 17," but evidence indicates that the attack was not serious enough to prompt alerts from the public safety systems at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission or the International Atomic Energy Agency, E&E reported. The information available thus far indicates that nuclear safety is not immediately at direct risk.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Issues Statement on DACA Court Order

Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued the following statement on Friday’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) order in the U. S. District Court for the District of Columbia:

"We strongly disagree with the district court’s decision on Friday in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) case. The executive branch’s authority to simply rescind a policy, established only by a letter from the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is clearly established. The Department of Justice will take every lawful measure to vindicate the Department of Homeland Security’s lawful rescission of DACA.

"The last administration violated its duty to enforce our immigration laws by directing and implementing a categorical, multipronged non-enforcement immigration policy for a massive group of illegal aliens. This wrongful action left DACA open to the same legal challenges that effectively invalidated another program they established—Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA). DAPA’s implementation was blocked by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and never entered into effect. These two policies declared by officials of the previous administration—by policy letters only—had been considered by Congress and rejected.

"The Trump Administration’s action to withdraw the policy letters simply reestablished the legal policies consistent with the law. Not only did the Trump Administration have the authority to withdraw this guidance letter, it had a duty to do so. As former President Obama previously said, the changes they attempted to effect through this policy letter can only be lawfully achieved by congressional action. The judicial branch has no power to eviscerate the lawful directives of Congress—nor to enjoin the executive branch from enforcing such mandates.

"We have recently witnessed a number of decisions in which courts have improperly used judicial power to steer, enjoin, modify, and direct executive policy. This ignores the wisdom of our Founders and transfers policy making questions from the constitutionally empowered and politically accountable branches to the judicial branch. It also improperly undermines this Administration’s ability to protect our nation, its borders, and its citizens. The Trump Administration and this Department of Justice will continue to aggressively defend the executive branch's lawful authority and duty to ensure a lawful system of immigration for our country."

Why is Canada calling them out on something that they are supposedly doing better on?

There is no electronic filing in England & Wales, and until there is such a database will remain a pipe dream. Generally an application to the court will need to be made in order to view court filings; the rules are contained in the Civil Procedure Rules of England and Wales Part 5 (at time of writing, Oct 2014).

Some services that might help:

Lawtel has a service in the 'Cases' section called 'Pending Actions' where you can search for claims issued in the High Court since January 2010. It is possible to order claim forms for these cases, and where available, particulars of claim. At the time of writing (Oct 2014) the fee for this is £48, on top of the Lawtel subscription.

A subscription to Bloomberg Law, which covers filings in the High Court and some county courts, may suffice - but it is reactive - i.e. you request the documents and someone has to physically go to the court and collect them. Court documents have only been available to non-parties since 2 October 2006, so anything filed before that is not available.

The owners of Fiji Water (just one of their companies) would be a particularly interesting and important dig, especially considering how hugely they are tied into CA politics, Hollywood, the DNC, CA water, the Fiji government and much more. Their operations are of “paramount” importance in CA. The family is an enigma and I hear the wife is “wonderful”. What’s Q’s saying…watch the wives? They were already part of the elite and quite wealthy, but become most known once entering into California Agriculture. An odd move considering almost zero experience and industry that for the most part was not known for being hugely profitable and can’t really be understood or effectively run from a corner office in a swanky city known for its famous zip code far from everyday operations.

There has been a concerted effort ramping up to destroy America’s ability to produce its own food and in a short amount of time they have been playing a part in destroying California Ag Industry, farmers, fertile land and WATER supplies (im not talking about Giant Ag corporations, but instead once multi generational family farms, dairies, fresh fruit and vegetables growers and co-ops).

Among other things, a Country needs to be able to feed its own citizens to maintain its freedom and US Agriculture has seemingly been under a systematic dismantling from the inside. We already know this in other parts of the Country with things like Nafta, Monsanto, Tysons financially ruinous chicken farmer program, etc. In CAlifornia it’s water rights and their seizures, farm failures, ceased operations and selling to developers, land abandonment and seizure from code enforcement, overregulation and growing operations being moved to Mexico and other Central America countries with zero regulation of labor, wages, food safety and chemical use. Furthermore, intent on creating artificial dustbowl conditions, California government and water resource officials continually ignore inadequate storage and infrastructure failures; and regularly release water from reservoirs into the bays and out to the Pacific Ocean to maintain the narrative of drastic drought levels in order to justify radical rationing and price gouging.
