I want to tell you guys a HORROR story about Social Security SSI Disability Benefits.

I know a 65 year old man who was in an accident and hasn't worked in a longtime because he can't walk and one arm is partially disabled but I always see him trying to get around and participate in life as much as he can and I greatly respect him for his efforts.

The other day he explained to me that he was on SSI Disability and it is really hard to makes ends meet with the Bidenomics price increases but he manages to keep going on only $943 dollars a month for all his expenses.

The maximum amount of SSI Disability payments for a disabled elderly man only being $943 a month to me makes no sense at all it'sCRUELTYno matter how you slice it.

I decided to give him $300 a month to help him out and also looked into other benefits he might be eligible for every month.

After contacting the Social Security office I was told if I give him $300 a month then $300 a month will be deducted from his SSI monthly payment and I said how can get he ahead when he cannot have more than $943 a month and no more than $2,000 in total savings or he will be kicked off the program.

Where I live you can't even rent a closet for $943 a month so I'm wondering why are the the politicians in Washington DC doing this to America's elderly that are unfortunately disabled?

All that fucken money going to the Ukraine and them asshole politicians in Washington DC can't even give America's disabled elderly a couple more hundred dollars a month at least…

A video has come to light showing a man, believed to have ties to Al Qaeda terrorists, filming important landmarks in Washington DC a little over a year before the 9/11 attacks.

In the video, shot in the summer of 1999, Omar al-Bayoumi walked around the nation's capital remarking on various buildings, including the Washington Monument, before stopping in front of the US Capitol Building and referring to 'a plan.'

Bayoumi's video has been in the possession of the FBI for decades - but was just unsealed thanks to a court action by the families of 9/11 victims who sued the Saudi Arabian government for its alleged complicity in the attacks, something the ruling family denies.

The Capitol Building, one of the most recognizable symbols of American democracy, was long thought to be one of the possible targets in the terrorist strikes that killed nearly 3,000 people on September 11, 2001.

The FBI said in a declassified document from 2022 that Bayoumi had 'a 50/50 chance' of knowing the 9/11 attacks were going to occur, an assertion based on his prior relationship with the men who hijacked the plane that would crash into the Pentagon, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi.

The FBI got the video after British authorities raided Bayoumi's apartment in the days after the devastating attack in 2001, when he was a PhD student at Aston University in Birmingham, over 100 miles from London.

They also found a handwritten address book that lawyers for the 9/11 families say had the phone numbers of many Saudi Arabian officials working in the government at that time.

London's Metropolitan Police handed over all this evidence to the FBI, which has sought to keep it under lock and key ever since.

Now 25 years later, the world gets to see inside the mind of someone who possibly had a hand in executing the worst terrorist strike on US soil in its history.

In the video obtained by CBS News and aired on 60 Minutes, Bayoumi addresses his 'beloved' and 'esteemed brothers' while pointing the camera at the Capitol Building on a cloudy day around 6pm.

Positioned in front of the Capitol, he points out the entrances and exits to the building and also films passing security guards.

He later gets closer to an unknown building and films what appears to be government vehicles parked outside.

'Their cars,' he said. 'You said that in the plan.'

Richard Lambert, a retired FBI agent who led the initial 9/11 investigation, told 60 Minutes he believes Bayoumi was talking to the people within Al Qaeda who planned the 9/11 attacks.

'What I see Bayoumi doing is going out and making a detailed video record of the Capitol, of all its sides and conducting that 360 degree panoramic view,' added Lambert, who now serves as a consultant to the families of 9/11 victims in their case against Saudi Arabia.

Another reference to his shadowy conspirators came when Bayoumi pointed out the Washington Monument, which is a short walk from the Capitol.

'I will get over there, and I will report…to you in detail what is there.'

The video also gives additional weight to the long held theory by federal investigators that the hijackers of Flight 93, which crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, were intending to destroy the Capitol.

The FBI has said that Bayoumi was accompanied by two Saudi Arabian diplomats with ties to Al-Qaeda while filming this video, only deepening the possibility that state actors were involved in the attacks.

Saudi Arabia has denied that Bayoumi was ever an agent of theirs and has also denied any involvement or support of 9/11.

With oral arguments scheduled for this summer in the 9/11 suit from victims' families, lawyers for the Saudi Arabian government have filed a motion to dismiss.

The Saudis have also claimed that Bayoumi shot the video as a tourist, something retired FBI agent Ken Williams strongly disagrees with.

The official 9/11 Commission report, published in 2004, found that Saudi Arabia wasn't tied to Al Qaeda operationally or financially, a bombshell revelation only revealed to the public in 2016 when President Obama declassified 28 key pages of the 525-document.

'Saudi Arabia has long been considered the primary source of al Qaeda funding, but we have found no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials individually funded the organization,' it read.

Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. has received intense public scrutiny for promoting an array of unconventional theories, from claiming that vaccines are behind an "epidemic" of diseases in America to insisting that the CIA was directly involved in the assassination of his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy.

But one recurring conspiracy theory has garnered relatively little notice: his persistent assertion that major U.S. media outlets are being run by undercover CIA operatives or are controlled in some other way by the CIA, as part of a secret government plot to manipulate Americans' minds.

"The new head of NPR is a CIA agent," Kennedy declared at a New York campaign fundraiser in April, drawing gasps from some of his supporters.

He was specifically referring to Katherine Maher, who nearly two months earlier became NPR's CEO and president after a long career in international development and digital advocacy. At the fundraiser, Kennedy said Maher's hiring at NPR was just the latest salvo in the CIA's "systematic takeover of the American press, particularly the liberal media."

Kennedy continues to amplify such claims at campaign events, in media interviews, and on social media, supporting them with what experts described to ABC News as "half-truths," "intimations," misinterpretations of law, and twisted historical anecdotes. He often cites widespread but utterly unsubstantiated allegations that a CIA program supposedly called "Operation Mockingbird" secretly recruited journalists decades ago to help brainwash Americans.

"Operation Mockingbird is alive and well today," Kennedy has said repeatedly in recent months.

Kennedy's questionable tactics are all "classic techniques of propaganda," according to Sarah Oates, a journalism professor at the University of Maryland who specializes in propaganda. And that's ironic, she said, when Kennedy is employing those techniques to claim that the CIA and its media proxies are the ones propagandizing Americans.

Kennedy has offered varying explanations of the CIA's supposed goal for the purported media takeover – from allegedly promoting the Democratic Party's agenda to protecting the "military industrial complex."

The theory Kennedy promotes is consistent with his long-running criticism of both the CIA, which he says "continues to be involved in the coverup" of his uncle's murder, and "the mainstream media," which he claims have "slandered and censored" him over the last decade.

But Oates said the CIA conspiracy theory also creates a "Catch-22 situation," where the CIA's secretive nature makes it virtually impossible to disprove what Kennedy is alleging – and media reports questioning it can be spun "as evidence that the conspiracy is true."

"And that's the challenge," Oates said.

In a statement to ABC News, a CIA representative said, "Any notion that CIA is controlling American media is absolutely false. CIA Is an organization focused on providing foreign intelligence information to policymakers and protecting the United States from a range of overseas threats."

'Compromised by the CIA'?

According to Kennedy, the CIA infiltration of media is wide and deep: The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, and several prominent online news sites, including the Daily Beast, are "under the control of Intelligence Agency operatives," as he put it in a late April post on X, formerly Twitter.

Penske Media Corporation, which owns Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, is "a kind of front for the CIA," Kennedy said at the fundraiser in New York.

And "even journals like Smithsonian and National Geographic … appear to be compromised by the CIA," he said in an interview last year.

To support his claims, Kennedy last month cited writings from former CIA officer Kevin Shipp, a conspiracy theorist who openly supports the QAnon movement and claims "Pearl Harbor was a myth," as well as author David Talbot, whose 2015 book on the CIA was "animated by conspiracy theories" and "speculations" that "often run far ahead of the evidence," the San Francisco Chronicle said in its review of the book.

In addition, Kennedy has frequently cited a pair of articles from author Dick Russell.

Though Kennedy hasn't always mentioned it, those articles were published three years ago by the media arm of his own nonprofit organization, Children's Health Defense, which promotes vaccine skepticism and often alleges government corruption.

I want to tell you guys a HORROR story about Social Security SSI Disability Benefits.

I know a 65 year old man who was in an accident and hasn't worked in a longtime because he can't walk and one arm is partially disabled but I always see him trying to get around and participate in life as much as he can and I greatly respect him for his efforts.

The other day he explained to me that he was on SSI Disability and it is really hard to makes ends meet with the Bidenomics price increases but he manages to keep going on only $943 dollars a month for all his expenses.

The maximum amount of SSI Disability payments for a disabled elderly man only being $943 a month to me makes no sense at all it'sCRUELTYno matter how you slice it.

I decided to give him $300 a month to help him out and also looked into other benefits he might be eligible for every month.

After contacting the 'Social Security office I was told if I give him $300 a month then $300 a month will be deducted from his SSI monthly payment and I said how can get he ahead when he cannot have more than $943 a month and no more than $2,000 in total savings or he will be kicked off the program.

Where I live you can't even rent a closet for $943 a month so I'm wondering why are the the politicians in Washington DC doing this to America's elderly that are unfortunately disabled?

All that fucken money going to the Ukraine and them asshole politicians in Washington DC can't even give America's disabled elderly a couple more hundred dollars a month at least…

In a 36-page memo to the Capitol riot committee, Col. Earl Matthews also slams the Pentagon’s inspector general for what he calls an error-ridden report.

A former D.C. National Guard official is accusing two senior Army leaders of lying to Congress and participating in a secret attempt to rewrite the history of the military’s response to the Capitol riot.

In a 36-page memo, Col. Earl Matthews, who held high-level National Security Council and Pentagon roles during the Trump administration, slams the Pentagon’s inspector general for what he calls an error-riddled report that protects a top Army official who argued against sending the National Guard to the Capitol on Jan. 6, delaying the insurrection response for hours.

Matthews’ memo, sent to the Jan. 6 select committee this month and obtained by POLITICO, includes detailed recollections of the insurrection response as it calls two Army generals — Gen. Charles Flynn, who served as deputy chief of staff for operations on Jan. 6, and Lt. Gen. Walter Piatt, the director of Army staff — “absolute and unmitigated liars” for their characterization of the events of that day. Matthews has never publicly discussed the chaos of the Capitol siege.

On Jan. 6, Matthews was serving as the top attorney to Maj. Gen. William Walker, then commanding general of the D.C. National Guard. Matthews’ memo defends the Capitol attack response by Walker, who now serves as the House sergeant at arms, amplifying Walker’s previous congressional testimony about the hourslong delay in the military’s order for the D.C. National Guard to deploy to the riot scene.

“Every leader in the D.C. Guard wanted to respond and knew they could respond to the riot at the seat of government” before they were given clearance to do so on Jan. 6, Matthews’ memo reads. Instead, he said, D.C. guard officials “set [sic] stunned watching in the Armory” during the first hours of the attack on Congress during its certification of the 2020 election results.

Matthews’ memo levels major accusations: that Flynn and Piatt lied to Congress about their response to pleas for the D.C. Guard to quickly be deployed on Jan. 6; that the Pentagon inspector general’s November report on Army leadership’s response to the attack was “replete with factual inaccuracies”; and that the Army has created its own closely held revisionist document about the Capitol riot that’s “worthy of the best Stalinist or North Korea propagandist.”

The memo follows Walker’s own public call for the inspector general to retract its detailed report on the events of Jan. 6, as first reported by The Washington Post. Walker told the Post he objected to specific allegations by the Pentagon watchdog that Matthews’ memo also criticizes, calling the inspector general’s report “inaccurate” and “sloppy work.”

The new memo from Matthews, who now serves in the Army reserves, emerges as officials involved in the response that day try to explain their decision-making to investigators. The House select committee has probed the attack for months, and earlier this year top officials testified before the House oversight panel.

Reached for comment, Matthews said the memo he wrote is entirely accurate. “Our Army has never failed us and did not do so on January 6, 2021,” he said. “However, occasionally some of our Army leaders have failed us and they did so on January 6th. Then they lied about it and tried to cover it up. They tried to smear a good man and to erase history.”

Flynn, now the commanding general of the U.S. Army Pacific, and Piatt didn’t respond to messages. Army spokesperson Mike Brady said in a statement that the service’s “actions on January 6th have been well-documented and reported on, and Gen. Flynn and Lt. Gen. Piatt have been open, honest and thorough in their sworn testimony with Congress and DOD investigators.”

IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari on Wednesday cast Israel’s war aim of eradicating the Hamas terror group as unattainable, appearing to underscore tensions between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and top defense officials over his handling of the war in Gaza.

“This business of destroying Hamas, making Hamas disappear — it’s simply throwing sand in the eyes of the public,” Hagari told Channel 13 news in an interview.

China's 'Shock' Statement: Palestinians Have Right To Use 'Armed Force' Against Israel

China has backed the right of the Palestinian people to use armed force to combat Israel's occupation of their land, calling it an "an inalienable right well founded in international law".

The comments on Thursday were made by the Chinese ambassador to the UN, Zhang Jun, during the fourth day of public hearings held by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, Netherlands.

Representatives of 52 countries are addressing the ICJ on Israel's decades-long occupation of Palestinian land.

Beijing’s envoy said there were "various people (who) freed themselves from colonial rule" and they could use "all available means, including armed struggle".

He described the Palestinian use of armed resistance as legitimate and not an act of terrorism.

"The struggle waged by peoples for their liberation, right to self-determination, including armed struggle against colonialism, occupation, aggression, domination against foreign forces should not be considered terror acts," Zhang Jun told the court.

In his speech, Jun criticized Israeli policies, characterizing them as “oppression that has severely undermined and impeded the exercises and full realization of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination".

The ICJ’s public hearings, which will be held until February 26, come after a UN General Assembly resolution requesting an ICJ advisory opinion.

The number of states participating in the oral proceedings is the highest of any case since the ICJ's establishment in 1945 and is separate to the more publicized genocide case brought by South Africa. A panel of 15 judges are expected to take about six months to deliberate before issuing an advisory opinion.

Besides China, other countries scheduled to participate in the hearings include Hungary, France, South Africa and Egypt.

International bodies, including the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the African Union will also take part. Israel will not participate but has sent written observations to the court.
