Prophecy of the Popes

The Prophecy of the Popes (Latin: Prophetia Sancti Malachiae Archiepiscopi, de Summis Pontificibus, "Prophecy of Saint-Archbishop Malachy, concerning the Supreme Pontiffs") is a series of 112 short, cryptic phrases in Latin which purport to predict the Catholic popes (along with a few antipopes), beginning with Celestine II. Depending on who you ask, members of the billionaire Pritzker family of Chicago are either the proud descendants of a financial genius who are doing good by funding progressive causes — or a secretive dynasty who now back radical no-bail laws and the transgender movement.

The most prominent member of the family today is Gov. J.B. Pritzker, 57, a longtime Democratic activist and supporter whose net worth is about $3.6 billion.

His sister, Penny, 63, was co-chair of former President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and later became his secretary for the Department of Commerce. This, despite her once serving on the board of Superior Bank, which the Pritzkers bought with $460 million in tax credits from the federal government. The bank later collapsed after being one of the first to traffic in subprime mortgages.

J.B.’s cousin Jennifer Pritzker, 72, a twice-married parent of three who was born James Pritzker, is, along with Martine Rothblatt, one of the world’s only two openly transgender billionaires. She retired as a lieutenant colonel in the US Army in 2001 after a 27-year military career and transitioned in 2013. Unlike the rest of her family, who have long been die-hard Democrats, Jennifer was a loyal Republican and reliable donor to the GOP until she became disillusioned with the party in 2019 over what she saw as its anti-transgender agenda.

Anthony Pritzker, brother to J.B. and Jennifer, runs the Pritzker Group private equity firm, and was the subject of a mini-scandal when he and his wife bought and then demolished a landmark Bel Air home, irking their neighbors when they built a massive mega-mansion in its place. He and his wife sold the property for almost $22 million in 2012 after finishing its construction.

Finally, Tom Pritzker, 72, the governor’s cousin and the CEO of The Pritzker Organization, recently made headlines when he tried unsuccessfully to prevent the publishing of court documents relating to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Tom was first named in documents unsealed in New York in 2019 as one of a number of prominent men — including former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson — whom Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre said she was directed to have sex with, the Miami Herald reported at the time. (Pritzker and the others all denied the allegations.)

Gov. Pritzker, whom everyone calls “J.B.” but whose real name is Jay Robert, has been the governor of Illinois since 2019 and, according to a number of people who know him, is expected to run for president in 2024 if Joe Biden declines to try for a second term.

“I would not be surprised if he goes straight to the top,” Sugar Rautbord, a Chicago socialite, author and longtime Pritzker family friend, told The Post. “I know it’s something J.B. really wants. And he, like all the Pritzkers, follows what is important to him and not what the public thinks of him. The Pritzkers have never sought publicity. They’ve always been driven to achieve a certain kind of American success which involves making money.”

But Gov. Prtizker is making headlines now for signing into law a controversial criminal justice bill called the “SAFE-T” Act, which goes into effect in Chicago’s Cook County on Jan. 1, 2023, eliminating cash bail for those charged from that date forward. Judges will decide who remains locked up while awaiting trial, rather than requiring defendants to pay bail to be released.

“I’m pleased . . . to bring an end to a system where wealthy violent offenders can buy their way out of jail, while less fortunate nonviolent offenders wait in jail for trial,” Pritzker said at the time. “Advocates and lawmakers came together and put in hours of work to strengthen and clarify this law, uphold our commitment to equity, and keep people safe.”

New York and New Jersey have passed bail reform laws that do away with most cash bail for pretrial detentions, but the new Illinois law eliminates cash bail entirely.

Though a judge ruled on Dec. 28 that the SAFE-T Act is unconstitutional for 65 counties that sued to stop its passage, it goes into effect on New Year’s Day for Chicago’s Cook County, where crime has exploded in recent years, and 36 other counties that did not file suit.

Gov. Pritzker’s high-profile ambitions mark a departure for members of a multibillion dollar family empire who made it their business to stay out of the spotlight ever since the Jewish patriarch, Naphtali ben Yakov Pritzker, immigrated to Chicago from a ghetto in Kyiv, Ukraine, at age 10 in 1881. He made nickels selling newspapers on the Chicago streets, put himself through law school and founded the law firm Pritzker and Pritzker.

Nicholas’ sons, Abram, Harry and Jack, all joined the family law firm but eventually branched out into business, using family money to invest in local real estate companies and other firms. They made the family law practice into an in-house anchor for the dealmaking that fueled their burgeoning family empire.

But most Pritzker observers say Nicholas’ grandson, Jay Pritzker, was the financial wizard who turned the family into a powerhouse dynasty. Jay Pritzker entered the University of Chicago as a freshman at 14 and graduated from Northwestern at 19 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He later graduated from Northwestern Law School in 1947 at 25.

The story goes that Jay, who had a “Rain Man” type of financial acumen, decided to buy the first of what would become the international Hyatt Hotel chain in 1957 while drinking a cup of coffee at Fat Eddie’s at LAX. Pritzker noticed that Fat Eddie’s was very busy for a coffee shop and the hotel in which it was housed had no vacancies.

The hotel, which happened to be for sale, was named after its owner, Hyatt Von Dehn. Pritzker made an offer on the spot, scribbling $2.2 million on a napkin. He and his brother, Robert, went on to build a big family corporation called Marmon, now a Berkshire Hathaway company, that had interests in casinos in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City along with Ticketmaster, Braniff Airlines, Levitz Furniture, pharmaceutical companies, cruise ship lines, janitorial supply firms, and a maker of circumcision devices.

“He took one look at the group and said, there’s no money to be made here, turned around and left,” the friend told The Post. “That was Jay.” Jay died in 1999 at age 76.

Today, the Pritzker name is visible all over Chicago, including the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine, the Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo and more.

“The Pritzkers have the sense of being noble but not noblesse oblige,” Rautbord said. “They want to make genuine changes for the best for the community. They have a 24-hour work ethic whether it’s their businesses or their charities. But they are very private. They’ve always played it very close to the vest. What separates them from a lot of other dynasties is that they have moved very quietly and under the radar as much as possible.”

But the Pritzkers have recently come under fire for how they’re using their money. A lengthy investigation by Tablet magazine earlier this year detailed the labyrinthine funneling of millions of Pritzker family money into universities, medical schools, gender clinics and nonprofits in support of transgenderism and what is called “gender-affirming” medical care, the controversial treatment that critics say encourages youths to undergo transition surgery or take puberty blockers without first going through adequate therapy.

Gov. Pritzker has also signed off on transgender legislation, in essence making “gender affirming care” the law in Illinois. In 2019, the state’s Medicaid program began covering gender-affirming surgeries for its members.

Last year, he also passed the “Youth and Health Safety Act” — a new sex education bill that follows the standards of a left-wing interest group called SIECUS whose current standards call for teaching 5-year-olds about “gender identity” and instructing 8-year-olds on how hormone blockers prevent puberty in transgender-identifying preteens.

Jennifer Pritzker’s personal foundation, Tawani, leverages her chunk of the family’s vast fortune to make pro-transgender grants to universities, the ACLU, GLAAD, and smaller activist groups.

Even the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine now offers a class claiming to teach a new generation of doctors how to fight “misinformation” in the medical field, including alleged falsehoods about “gender-affirming hormone care.”

Activist K Yang, who worked at an LGBT center in upstate New York in 2012, said she traced the early gender ideology funding at the center, some of which paid for her job, to groups like GLAAD, one of the many left-wing gay rights groups that Jennifer Pritzker’s foundation has long donated to. Yang said she eventually quit her position, which she claims entailed going into high schools and middle schools to indoctrinate students in gender ideology before there was much national awareness of it, and now runs a site called StopFemaleErasure.

“The Pritzkers are teaching children and adults they can be opposite sex and these surgeries can be safe and effective,” Yang, 36, told The Post. “They are in the business of social change. There is a lot of money from gender ideology but they are erasing women and medicalizing children in the process. The Pritzker family exemplifies how private interests can weaponize numerous industrial complexes — medical, military and nonprofit complexes. They are weaponizing them on a local, national and international level.”

Dan Proft, a conservative Chicago political commentator now based in Florida who co-hosts a talk show on AM 560, got a campaign contribution from Jennifer Pritzker (before she transitioned) for his own gubernatorial campaign in 2010. Proft ran as a Republican but lost in the primary.

Proft said he knows the person many still call “The Colonel” well. In 2022, Proft organized a $35 million Super PAC to fight JB Pritzker’s gubernatorial bid and support his challenger, Darren Bailey. But Proft remains sympathetic to Jennifer.

“I spoke to him a lot,” Proft told The Post, referring to Jennifer and using her birth pronouns. “I think [Jennifer] is a philosophical and idealistic person for the most part. I know they say that the transgender industry is supposed to be a $5 billion industry but I don’t think [she’s] in it for that. I think the others are, but just in a transactional way. They want power and influence, and the transgender stuff is in the leftist zeitgeist.

“They are classic politicians,” Proft added. “They’re going to where the energy is. They want to be the primary financiers of left-wing activism, so all roads for leftism lead back to the Pritzkers.”

Repeated calls to numerous Pritzker organizations, including the governor’s office, were not returned.

Scientology leader David Miscavige is apparently “nowhere to be found” as prosecutors search to serve the controversial figure with a federal child trafficking lawsuit, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Federal authorities have reportedly attempted to serve the mysterious 62-year-old Scientology leader 27 separate times over four months in Los Angeles, California and Clearwater, Florida.

According to Daily Mail, security guards on duty at the California and Florida Scientology properties were “clueless” when lawyers arrived in search of Miscavige.

The three plaintiffs in the lawsuit – Gawain and Laura Baxter and Valeska Paris – have also since hired a private investigator in an attempt to track down the evasive church leader.

Although Miscavige does not have a recorded permanent address, his last known address was the church’s international headquarters in Los Angeles.

In court filings connected to the federal child trafficking lawsuit against him, two former Scientology members said Miscavige lives in a gated church community called Hacienda Gardens just outside of Clearwater.

“Miscavige cannot be permitted to continue his gamesmanship,” said Neil Glazer, a lawyer representing one of the plaintiffs in the case. Glazer also said Miscavige is taking part in an “intentional concealment of his location and evasion of service.”

The Baxters and Paris filed the lawsuit against the church leader earlier this year and claim they were forced to work on Scientology boats after signing a one-billion-year contract in exchange for no money.

Paris also claims she was a victim of sexual assault by church members while still a minor and that she was locked inside an engine room when she was 17 as punishment for her mother leaving Scientology.

A Scientology spokesperson has since slammed the allegations against Miscavige and the church, calling the accusations “ridiculous” and the federal lawsuit “a scam.”

“The allegations are both scurrilous and ridiculous and the lawsuit is both a sham and a scam,” the spokesperson said. “Valeska Paris already wasted the time of law enforcement when she made these fraudulent claims years ago.”

“It is public record they closed her file stating: ‘There are no corroborating witnesses or evidence provided to support the allegations.’”

Miscavige is due in court on January 20, but the charges remain pending until the church leader can properly and officially be served with the summons.

California will allow non US citizens to be police officers in January 2023

A new state law championed by Police Chief Joe Farrow will allow anyone who is legally authorized to work in the United States to become a peace officer in California, regardless of citizenship status, starting Jan. 1.

Previously, police officers had to be either U.S. citizens or permanent residents in the process of applying for citizenship.

“People who are in this country with a federal right to work — regardless of how they got here — they can do any job. They can be attorneys, firefighters, join the military, but they can’t be police officers in California,” Farrow said. “Why hold people back? This was the question that deserved some debate.”

Farrow became aware of the issue after joining UC Davis in 2018. As part of efforts to increase diversity, the UC Davis police department recruits new officers from graduating seniors in its cadet academy.

“I noticed kids who were really distinguishing themselves in our academy, but they weren’t eligible to be peace officers,” Farrow said. With support from UC President Michael Drake and Chancellor Gary S. May, Farrow began working toward a bill.

Applicants ready

Guided by state Sen. Nancy Skinner (D-Berkeley), Senate Bill 960 easily passed every hearing and vote, and was signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom Sept. 29.

“All it says is that to become a peace officer in California, you need to have a legal right to work here,” Farrow said. “All the background checks, all the checks and balances remain the same.”

Farrow said he already has applicants in line for jobs as UC Davis police officers and hopes to make at least one hire in the new year. It’s part of the department’s goal of becoming more diverse and reflective of the community.

“We need to bring in people from marginalized groups and allow them to fulfil their dreams,” Farrow said. “This bill reminds us that universities are a place where people learn and effect change. Passage of SB 960 is a great example of people identifying an issue, having a public debate resulting in a change in the law that positively effects members of our community.”

The mainstream media would have absolutely eviscerated Trump if he had come out against the vaccines just as they did whenever he spoke about Ivermectin or any other cure. It was all about stopping Trump from winning another election and implementing the Great Reset... Trump stopped the Great Reset by forcing the other vaccine companies to push out their own vaccine quicker than they would have liked. They wanted lockdowns until everything collapsed, then vaccine passports and totalitarian control. But we avoided so much of that. I doubt Trump can ever come out and say what he really thinks of the vaccines at this point but for me personally, I believe we dodged way more bullets than people can imagine.

Alameda wallets become active days after SBF bail, community mulls foul play

The recent movement of funds from Alameda wallets just days after Sam Bankman Fried was released on bail raised many eyebrows about the timing.

The crypto wallets associated with now-bankrupt trading firm Alameda Research, the sister company of FTX, were seen transferring out funds just days after the former CEO Sam Bankman Fried was released on a $250 million bond.

The transfer of funds from Alameda wallets raised community curiosity, but more than that, the way in which these funds were transferred grabbed the community’s attention. The Alameda wallet was found to be swapping bits of ERC-20s for Ether ETH tickers down $1,199/Tether USDT tickers down $1.00, and then the ETH and USDT were funneled through instant exchangers and mixers.

For example, a wallet address that starts with 0x64e9 received over 600 ETH from wallets that belong to Alameda, part of it was swapped to USDT while the other part of the transaction was sent to ChangeNow.

On-chain analyst ZachXBT noted that the Alameda wallet was eventually swapping the funds for Bitcoin BTC tickers down $16,568 using decentralized exchanges such as FixedFloat and ChangeNow.

The never-ending FTX saga sees a new twist every day, and the latest transfer of funds to scoop out whatever is left in those crypto wallets is worrying for the community.

Many speculated that the pattern in which these funds are being swapped looks like an exploiter, but given Bankman-Fried’s known criminal past now, many speculated it could be an insider job to take out whatever is left in those wallets.

Others questioned the bail conditions and asked why was he given access to the internet. One user wrote that the former CEO was “desperately trying to funnel money out,” adding, “why did his bail condition include no computer/internet access?”

The ongoing fund movements from Alameda wallets coincided with Bankman Fried’s bail because right after FTX filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 11, the exchange wallets were hacked for millions of dollars. The United States Department of Justice is currently investigating the $352 million FTX exploit right after its bankruptcy filing as well.

Did disgraced crypto founder Sam Bankman-Fried just cash out $684k to a crypto exchange in the Seychelles while under house arrest?

His release conditions are that he not spend more than $1,000 without permission from the court.

When SBF agreed to take over control of the Sushiswap exchange from anonymous founder Chef Nomi in August 2020, he asked for ownership to be transferred to his Ethereum address

After SBF was released, his wallet sent all its remaining crypto tokens to a new Ethereum address created an hour earlier. In 3 hours, over 100 new deposits were made to this wallet from various addresses, most having links to SBFs defunct hedge fund Alameda Research

In less than 4 hours, 570 ETH worth approximately $684,000 was transferred out of this new wallet, to various destinations.

Funds were sent to a no KYC exchange based in the Seychelles and to the Bitcoin network via the

@renprotocol, a bridge funded by Alameda.

Perhaps the SEC attorneys would like notice of this. I'm a cartoon lizard so can someone else please email them?

As the Ethereum blockchain is an immutable public ledger, this on-chain evidence is permanently available to law enforcement and the courts

Democrat politicians and far-left activists are lobbying for clemency to be granted to a transgender child sex offender and murderer set to be executed next week.

Democrat Representatives Cori Bush and Emanuel Cleaver have sent a letter to Republican Missouri Governor Mike Parson urging him to stop the execution.

Scott McLaughlin, who began identifying as “Amber” while on death row, was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl in 1992. He then went on to stalk and brutally rape and murder his ex-girlfriend Beverly Guenther, in 2003.

“According to court records, Guenther and McLaughlin met in 2002 and began living with each other shortly into the relationship. But the cohabitation was marred by break-ups that were often so serious that Guenther sometimes had to obtain restraining orders to keep McLaughlin away from her,” Reduxx reports. “In the spring of 2003, Guenther and McLaughlin formally ended their relationship, but McLaughlin continued to pursue the woman, exhibiting stalking behaviors by frequently visiting her place of work and calling her.”

The report continues, “on October 27, 2003, McLaughlin was arrested after burglarizing Guenther’s home. He told arresting officers he was trying to reclaim possessions he left behind at the home while living with Guenther, and was arraigned in November. Guenther had filed for a protective order just two days before McLaughlin murdered her.”

Less than one month later, on November 20, McLaughlin went to Guenther’s job and waited for her.

As she left work and made her way to her vehicle, Guenther ambushed her, forced her to the ground, and sexually assaulted her. He then stabbed her to death, shoved her body in his car, drove to a river, and left her in the underbrush.

The cold-blooded killer was found guilty of forcible rape and first-degree murder. He was ultimately given the death penalty.

In their letter too Gov. Parson, Bush and Cleaver claim that the killer should be given a life sentence instead of being executed due to “gender dysphoria” and “mental health issues.”

“Ms. McLaughlin faced a traumatic childhood and mental health issues throughout her life,” the letter stated. “She experienced horrific abuse and neglect at the hands of various caregivers; court records indicate her adoptive father would frequently strike her with paddles and a night stick, and even tase her. Alongside this horrendous abuse, she was also silently struggling with her identity, grappling with what we now understand is gender dysphoria. The abuse, coupled with the persistent mental turmoil surrounding her identity, led to mild neurological brain damage and multiple suicide attempts both as a child and as an adult.”

The far-left politicians also claimed that executing him would be the “first use of the death penalty on a woman” since 1976.

“Ms. McLaughlin’s cruel execution would mark the state’s first use of the death penalty on a woman since the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated capital punishment in 1976, and even worse it would not solve any of the systemic problems facing Missourians and people all across America, including antiLGBTQ+ hate and violence, and cycles of violence that target and harm women,” the lawmakers said.

77 members of Congress have violated a law designed to prevent insider trading and stop conflicts-of-interest

Insider and several other news organizations have identified 77 members of Congress who've recently failed to properly report their financial trades as mandated by the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act of 2012, also known as the STOCK Act.

Congress passed the law a decade ago to combat insider trading and conflicts of interest among their own members and force lawmakers to be more transparent about their personal financial dealings. A key provision of the law mandates that lawmakers publicly — and quickly — disclose any stock trade made by themselves, a spouse, or a dependent child.

But many members of Congress have not fully complied with the law. They offer excuses including ignorance of the law, clerical errors, and mistakes by an accountant. Insider has chronicled this widespread nature of this phenomenon in "Conflicted Congress," an ongoing reporting project initially published in December.

While lawmakers who violate the STOCK Act face a fine, the penalty is usually small — $200 is the standard amount — or waived by House or Senate ethics officials. Ethics watchdogs and even some members of Congress have called for stricter penalties or even a ban on federal lawmakers from trading individual stocks.

On Capitol Hill, lawmakers seriously debated such a ban, with a vote on a consensus bill seemingly imminent during early autumn. But Democrats, who enjoyed majories in the House and Senate through January 2023, did not press legislation forward, and a bill to ban lawmakers from trading stocks ultimately died.

A Republican-controlled House and Democrat-controlled Senate would need to work together in 2023 and beyond to reignite a congressional stock-ban effort.

Border Patrol agents in the five Texas-based sectors apprehended more than 266,000 migrants in the first two months of the new fiscal year. Nearly 107,000 of those entered through the El Paso Sector.

El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Peter Jaquez reports the increasing number of migrants crossing into the El Paso Sector. During the first two months of Fiscal Year 23, which began on October 1, El Paso Sector agents apprehended 106,561 migrants, according to the November Southwest Land Border Encounters Report released on the Friday night before Christmas. This is up more than 260 percent from the 29,539 apprehended in the same period last year. It is anticipated that more than 50,000 migrants will be apprehended in December.

The El Paso Sector continues to be the busiest sector for migrant apprehensions along the southwest border with Mexico.

In the Del Rio Sector, agents apprehended 90,482 during the first two months of the fiscal year. This represents an increase of nearly 55 percent over the 58,439 apprehended in the same period last year. The apprehensions trended upward during the first two months with 42,762 in October and 47,720 in November. The trend is expected to continue in December as large migrant groups continue to cross in large numbers.

The Judicial Oath

The origin of the second oath is found in the Judiciary Act of 1789, which reads “the justices of the Supreme Court, and the district judges, before they proceed to execute the duties of their respective offices” to take a second oath or affirmation. From 1789 to 1990, the original text used for this oath (1 Stat. 76 § 8) was:

“I, ___, do solemnly swear or affirm that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as ___, according to the best of my abilities and understanding, agreeably to the constitution and laws of the United States. In December 1990, the Judicial Improvements Act of 1990replaced the phrase “according to the best of my abilities and understanding, agreeably to the Constitution" with "under the Constitution.” The revised Judicial Oath, found at 28 U. S. C. § 453, reads:

“I, ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as ___ under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God.”

The Combined Oath

Upon occasion, appointees to the Supreme Court have taken a combined version of the two oaths, which reads:

“I, ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as ___ under the Constitution and laws of the United States; and that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”
