This is my first essay, or at least the first one I ever bothered to finish and upload.
It is pretty short, but I believe it's summing up the essence of its subject quite well, even if I preferred to not point any fingers towards specific groups in it, if you get what I mean.
Please, do tell me what you think of it how it/I can be improved.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Regarding the lack of justification: that is an understandable point, however the target group that I would like to interest with my essay already knows most of the details regarding the context I present. What I wanted to achieve was to give the already conservative or conservative-leaning reader both a summary of what he may already know about the world of art and propaganda, and most importantly, a taste of what a new prototype of a conservative mindset regarding art should be. And naturally, I mostly aim to stimulate the emotion of the reader to get my point through.
And on the "verbose" part, well, as a non native-English speaker I wanted to experiment with the language. I'm still trying to find my fitting literary style and so some mistakes and linguistic exaggerations are bound to happen in the process.

I see. In that case, carry on, as I hope to see more in the future. This is very promising work.

This is too unstructured, wavering, and unclear. Much of it reads like a rant against predictable enemies, and the arguments aren't developed finely enough. A lot of information is thrown at the reader and they do not function well in terms of individual paragraphs, it all just seems to support a large rant. Your premise and beliefs are not in question, it is the form that matters. Give your essay time and space to relax, devote energies to expanding each individual argument, load them with sources that are cited and beyond the predictable and axiomatic ones: it's the inclusion of these specialized references that give you authority beyond the typical.

Overall, restructure your writing, cause each paragraph to be unified under a substantial idea that utilizes its own individual argument, and divide the force of your message through each of these arguments. While we have a general theme that permeates everything, it is, again, quite unstructured, wandering, and sounds more like a rant than anything. One has to search for what you are arguing against or arguing for, and it isn't as deliberate and clear as it could be.

Thanks for your input. I will eventually try and expand each argument and solidify the essay.

If /pol/ is serious about starting a literary publication, I recommend "Instauration" as the sort of thing we should be shooting for.

This was a high-quality, pro-white magazine that published regular issues for 20+ years and had a fairly wide circulation (although you could waste days trying to find a reference to it in the MSM). It was smart and incisive, covered a wide range of topics and had a darkly humorous editorial tone. It might be best described as a combination of the Occidental Quarterly and National Lampoon.

Best of all, every issue is available on PDF for free: http://instaurationonline.com/

Pic related.

Explain this to me

Not much to explain. It means that if you want to submit your work into the project, you license the work so that other people can republish it without permission, so long as they attribute the author properly.

Derivative is more open-source, if you allowed derivatives, people could take your work and modify it. Very imageboard culture friendly, but maybe not good for the author. It could be optional.

Problem trying to solve: getting the work disseminated. If it can be republished without permission, its ideas can spread far and wide. This is always done informally on imageboards, but if you go outside an imageboard, its best to make it formal. If you give over the work to be published, you agree that others can republish it.

That's the suggestion as I see it.

How many of you guys would be willing to meet up with /pol/ack writers, musicians, artists, etc. and work towards creating cultural alternatives?

I posted a thread that sparked conversation about this topic here:
http://8ch.net/pol/res/1231989.html#1232398

And people suggested that I ask here. Is anyone interested? Novelists, nonfiction writers, comic book writers, songwriters, poets, whomever… you're all welcome to discuss the possibility of meeting up.

My surrounds? An empty room. One would call it empty, if that one where to visit and not live a grinding routine, day in night out, all inside this room. A service to the One.
All Must Serve.
The grinding of routine goes much deeper than moving one's to morph pixels into what looks realer than reality. A trench embedded in my consciousness from before the time the proteins in my parents body's began to form what would be me. In essences I am exactly what they made me, and I am One.

Three years have passed since the death of his persona, but his name is still surrounded by the wall of lies and blatant aspersion.

You may call him a troll,
you may call him a fool,
you may call him a little kid seeking for attention,
you may think that you're more than a tool and a cattle waiting to be butchered and eaten,

you should know that you're absolutely wrong about him and about yourselves.

Sorry, but Quentin have never trolled anyone. He was dead serious. Like a daredevil, he really walked the walk. His endless admirers and successors shall keep his legacy alive.

It was an honor to have fought on his side along with hundreds of other Diamond Dogs members, and we shall continue our good fight.

And he wrote a note for people like you; Selfish, ignorant, self indulgent people like you.

Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

It was the best of chans, it was the worst of chans, it was the age of lulz, it was the age of faggotry, it was the epoch of bump, it was the epoch of sage, it was the season of anonymity, it was the season of tripfagging, it was the spring of effortposts, it was the winter of shitposting, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way–in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

There were a midget with massive balls and no legs on the throne of 8chan; there were a cuck with no balls and long legs on the throne of 4chan. In both countries it was clearer than crystal to the lords of the State preserves of ad space and moneyz, that things in general were settled for ever…(USER WAS BANNED FOR BEING A SHITPOSTING FAGGOT)

>I always feel like I have horrendous mistakes in my writing that I have failed to spot and correct…

I am writing here as not to recount, as not to retell, and in full honesty as not even to console myself, if perhaps only upon paper, but as rather to anchor this event to reality, as to determine whether I have perhaps dreamt this baffling encounter. This evening was rather groggy and not to mention foggy, in relative terms it was reminiscent of a previous night’s stew: not cold, not warm, but rather caught in an unsettling limbo that served only to demulsify and create an unpleasant viscosity within the stew, bringing one to question if it had been decanted out of a sewer. Yes, the walk home from the customs office felt as if I had gone for a swim in my wife’s stale stew, inhaling with every breaststroke. My miserable march through the alleyways would not go unnoticed. As if punishment for some horrendous sin long but forgotten except in the eyes of a malevolent god, a torrential downpour began with no forewarning prompting me to scurry from cover to cover in good style with a mouse frantically dashing between the safety of couches and dressers in the presence of a lustful housecat. Indeed, it was a disgusting brackish that hit me, for the fumes and chemicals that had bellowed out of the manufactories were now observing what had once fascinated Newton. Much to my demise, it would not be the last thing to hit me…

Here's a significant portion of the "ask a foreign policy analyst anything" thread on /pol/. I thought it was very interesting and this Q&A I compiled is 6500+ words. IF a /pol/ and writing related journal is to be made, I think this should be included as it provides some thought-provoking opinions.

Welcome to /pen/.
I've recently taken the decision to make this a place for discussing literature and posting your own work, instead of only user created content.
Stuff to post:
>Your own work, fiction or non-fiction
>'Required reading' lists
>Reading club ideas
>Writing club ideas
>Reviews

>b..but how's this different to /lit/

As before, the board is aiming to be centered around politics, but this rule isn't absolute.
Keep it civil and post new works into their own threads, if possible.
