It also depends on the quality of writing. I guess you know that more faster you think - more faster you write and after all you write in awful way. I tried to improve both things: writing skills and hand writing and I used https://anonymous-essay.com/ as my mentor for this. I started of writing simple essays and then I figured out that my skills got better. Just practice my friend.

Hi anons.

I'm looking to save my eyes some strain by purchasing an ereader. Reading pdfs on my computer or phone makes my eyes bloodshot and gives me a headache that I never feel when reading books on paper.

However, some of the e readers I have seen have advertisements and limit the content of what you can read to purchased pdfs.

Is there an ereader put there that lets me upload whatever files I would like to it from by desktop? Either by cable connection or Bluetooth connection? Even better would be if I could download straight from /pdfs/ or mega.

Do most e readers handle other files besides just pdfs?

My friend bought one for ~80 bucks and it had no functionality. He could only purchase ebooks from Amazon and not upload them himself, and he had to sit through advertisements.

I would be willing to spend ~150+ dollars on something like this

I have tried various kindles and kobos.The kobos were terrible and froze constantly. The kindle is fine if you're reading text, but if you have complicated PDFs with charts and images, you'll want to run the PDF without converting, which is impossible on most kindles because the screen is too small.

I just bought a used Kindle DX on Ebay and I really like it. It was expensive - cost $220CAD, but it displays PDFs well. I honestly could go a bit bigger, but I can read PDFs without too much eye strain. I just wish I could buy one with all of the new technology.

I am assuming this is due to the massive filesize (and apparently the entire .pdf is loaded at once instead of just what I'm reading). I've been using certain Bolle safety glasses to work on my pc, and use my smartphone indoors for several years, and I cant recommend them enough.. Certain industries demand new technologies to filter blue light, I've been looking at this CSP range, I believe the coating filters out 99% of blue light but i'm not totally sure.. worth a look anyway..

op, I was facing your dilemma a couple of years ago. I ended up buying an andriod tablet and for me it has worked out well, besides being "paperbook page size" and being able to read all types of ebook formats with 64 gigs of storage to boot, I am also able to use it as a tablet, or more specifically my kid uses it to play some apps just about every day.. this is one of the few random-tech pieces that I will never regret buying. (Unlike my PSP)

Not good enough, we need wider coverage on more topics, arranged in the order of necessity (basic foundational knowledge first) and progression (books that explains the past comes before the books of the present), with the exception where foundational knowledge that describe past and present together, should be prioritized over the more detailed knowledge of the past.

Also we need to consider cross-discipline and cross-topic books, in those case books that explains the "big picture" should be prioritized over books that only focus on a smaller sub-topic or event.

Special Announcement

Someone in the mod recruitment thread on /pol/ claiming to be the owner of /zundel/ has announced that he his deleting /zundel/ and the mega account associated with it. I have tried to contact the BO by email to request ownership be transferred to me. But then I realised that his mega is a subscription account and I can't afford it anyway.

I've begun downloading the folders from the main mega link starting with the first one "Zundel's Bunker". However a few things:

1. Mega will no longer allow me to download files without using their shitty software app which I've been forced to install to get the files. I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem.

2. The folder I'm currently downloading is over 5GB which means I'm going to hit the daily timeout soon.

It would be great if fellow anons here could pick a folder and download it or transfer it to their own mega account so we can preserve all the knowledge. I'm pretty sure the rest of the folders are individually less than 5GB so it should be easy. We can coordinate how to re-upload them somewhere else after we've saved them.

I liked it. Very obvious where you got your themes and motifs from. I do enjoy a good plutocracy story every now and then. Your story would be less obvious if you changed the whole message. Naturally when you present the example of that kind of society, its eventual destruction is what the audience craves more than the lead character. For this to absolutely be a staggering story, the main purpose should be something that the audience would never expect. Great story, though. Could definitely be improved with more detail. The environments are hard to grasp.

Hello anons.

I will soon, go live in nature. I want to abandon this shitty civilization and go resource myself in nature, but i want also keep reading. It will be a sort of purification of the body and the mind.

The problem is that i want to keep reading, but i can't bring dozens of books in my bag, that's why i want to have a way to read on a screen.

I had a e-reader, a Kobo (120€, don't remember the model) but i sold it because she didn't read well pdf's files.

Do you have a e-reader who read pdf good ? Or should i buy a tablet with anti-blue filter ? But the problem is that the autonomy is lower than a e-reader (i will have a solar charge).

yeah, the kindle dx is fine for novels, but it sucks for PDFs (which is most of what I want to read). I have a kindle DX, but it's getting kind of old and I am thinking of upgrading to one of the ebook readers on aliexpress. I want the boox max 2 but the price is so… damn hard to justify.
