# 18 U.S. Code § 1466A - Obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children

Based on the legal analysis of our attorney and upon being informed about a 2018 case (United States v. Eychaner), I would like to inform you that obscene visual representations or obscene visual depictions of children are currently illegal under United States federal law. Per the current interpretation of the applicable federal statute (18 U.S. Code § 1466A), said obscene content includes "a drawing, cartoon, sculpture, or painting" (this is what the law says) and does not require "that the minor depicted actually exist."

Given the scrutiny the website has been under, I think it is very likely that, one way or another, because of public pressure, users would end up in legal jeopardy over this and this is not something any administrator wants. What I want is free speech within the boundaries of the law. As it is, obscene material is not protected speech under the First Amendment. That may change in the future as the so-called "community standards" become less strict. However, this is the hand we've been dealt.
As such, any user who posts obscene visual representations or obscene visual depictions of children will be banned permanently and the content will be deleted. Until further notice, that is how all volunteers, global and local, will be instructed to handle such content.

- presser time or something is habbening

→ 2 or 3 breads are baked
this obviously does not look organic when this is a real pattern and happens almost daily.
obviously it´s not exactly credible that no baker would be available during presser time (leading to no notables collected, mush missed when maybe posted next bread) but suddently two bakers can bake new breads just shortly after.

What do you suggest we do for the breads where the people are screaming about bakerfags namefaggin bakers . id checks all that . What is the best path for what needs to happen. I jsut been following basically what the other patriot bakers do . Been having a influx of bullshit the last 2 days or so after a rather smooth few months (relatively). Alot of psychotic attacks coming twords me even more than before just a different type of attack and not just when I bake .I just want to know what highest ranking bread person thinks is the path. I don't want to do the wrong thing I have many hours(years) in and it is super easy to be mislead or go down the wrong path no one is there to trust to listen to since all Anon.
