Jeff Hardy was on the receiving end of a vicious attack at the hands of Randy Orton two weeks ago, as The Viper ripped at Hardy's ear, trying to rip it open in front of the WWE Universe.

Orton explained last week that he intends to write The Charismatic Enigma's final chapter in WWE, and may get the chance to try and do that sooner than expected, as Jeff Hardy is returning to confront The Apex Predator tonight.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar returns to Raw, with his SummerSlam title clash with Roman Reigns set in stone. Will these bitter rivals mix it up before The Biggest Event of the Summer? The “uncrowned” Universal Champion is coming for the throne. After being denied Brock Lesnar’s coveted title at WrestleMania and WWE Greatest Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns has earned another opportunity to take down The Conqueror, this time at SummerSlam in Brooklyn.

As Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman revealed this past Monday, The Beast Incarnate will bring his title to Cincinnati for Raw, where Reigns will be waiting.

Constable Baron Corbin seems pretty bitter that Finn Bálor beat him at WWE Extreme Rules, going so far as to relocate the Irishman’s dressing room to a children’s playhouse this past Monday night. Of course, Bálor is a kid at heart, and he took the attempted insult in stride. There will be no smiles, however, when he takes on the Team Red Constable one-on-one.

WWE just announced after a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. Below is WWE's full announcement:

"After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan's numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame."

It's been well documented WWE has been keeping a close eye on the reactions to Hulk Hogan's recent appearances at events like the Boys & Girls Club HOF and the Andre the GiantDocumentary Premiere to see how he's been received.

Hogan hasn't appeared for WWE since being fired by the company in 2015 shortly before a tape containing him making racist remarks was made public. Hogan, who was upset with his daughter Brooke dating a black man, used the n-word several times in the tape and said, "I guess we're all a little racist."

Last month in an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Hogan said talks with joining up with WWE were moving along.

"Things are moving in that direction quite quickly," Hogan said. "It's all about execution and timing and the right place and the right time, but things are good."
