When asked to provide concrete evidence of Gaddafi loyalists firing from inside the water-pipe factory, NATO officials failed to answer. Instead, NATO satellite images shown to journalists confirm that a BM-21 rocket launcher identified near the facility days earlier, remained perfectly intact the day after the NATO attack.

Earlier, NATO forces had already bombed water facilities in Sirte, killing several "employees of the state water utility who were working during the attack."

The deliberate destruction of a nation's water infrastructure, with the knowledge that doing so would result in massive deaths of the population as a direct consequence, is not simply a war crime, but potentially a genocidal strategy.

By August, UNICEF reported that the conflict had "put the Great Manmade River Authority, the primary distributor of potable water in Libya, at risk of failing to meet the country's water needs."

The same month, Agence France Presse reported that the GMR "could be crippled by the lack of spare parts and chemicals" - reinforced by NATO's destruction of water installations critical to the GMR in Sirte and Brega.

The GMR is now "struggling to keep reservoirs at a level that can provide a sustainable supply", UN officials said. "If the project were to fail, agencies fear a massive humanitarian emergency."

Christian Balslev-Olesen, UNICEF Libya's head of office, warned that the city faced "an absolute worst-case scenario" that "could turn into an unprecedented health epidemic" without resumption of water supplies.

Stratfor email: 'So much shit doesn't add up here'

While pro-rebel sources attempted to blame Gaddafi loyalists for the disruption of Libya's water supply, leaked emails from the US intelligence contractor Stratfor, which publicly endorsed these sources, show that the firm privately doubted its own claims.

"So much shit doesn't add up here", wrote Bayless Parsley, Stratfor's Middle East analyst, in an email to executives. "I am pretty much not confident in ANY of the sources … If anything, just need to be very clear how contradictory all the information is on this project … a lot of the conclusions drawn from it are not really air tight."

But the private US intelligence firm, which has played a key role in liaising with senior Pentagon officials in facilitating military intelligence operations, was keenly aware of what the shutdown of the GMR would mean for Libya's population:

"Since the first phase of the 'river's' construction in 1991, Libya's population has doubled. Remove that river and, well, there would likely be a very rapid natural correction back to normal carrying capacities."

"How often do Libyans bathe? You'd have drinking water for a month if you skipped a shower", joked Kevin Stech, a Stratfor research director. "Seriously. Cut the baths and the showers and your well water should suffice for drinking and less-than-optional hygiene."

The truth - government officials were trying to keep water flowing

Meanwhile, UNICEF confirmed that Libyan government officials were not sabotaging water facilities, but in fact working closely with a UN technical team to "facilitate an assessment of water wells, review urgent response options and identify alternatives for water sources."

Nevertheless, by September, UNICEF reported that the disruption to the GMR had left 4 million Libyans without potable water.

The GMR remains disrupted to this day, and Libya's national water crisis continues to escalate.

The deliberate destruction of a nation's water infrastructure, with the knowledge that doing so would result in massive deaths of the population as a direct consequence, is not simply a war crime, but potentially a genocidal strategy.

It raises serious questions about the conventional mythology of a clean, humanitarian war in Libya - questions that mainstream journalists appear to be uninterested in, or unable to ask.

Restore Britain canvassers were harassed and assaulted while campaigning for the Holborn and St Pancras by-election last weekend.

We expect violence from the communist freaks of Stand Up To Racism — especially in the occupied territory of London's immigrant enclaves. Socialist Worker defended the mob’s intimidation tactics, saying “Fascists are not a democratic force to be debated with… It is always right to confront fascists. Allowing fascists to grow is the real threat to free speech and democracy.”

What shocked many was Restore Britain’s rivals appearing to blame Restore’s rhetoric for the attack, rather than the unwashed agitators that are supposed to be their shared enemies.

They use the same slurs — racist, fascist, brownshirt, far right — that put them in the lethal crosshairs of leftist violence. These smears translate to “You can kill this person according to post-War morality,” and are the reason why Nigel Farage has constant security, and why Charlie Kirk and Ann Widdecombe were murdered. Some are even scheming within Restore Britain to do this to younger spokespeople and supporters.

Zia Yusuf got it right: if a registered political party cannot deliver leaflets during an election, we do not have a democracy.

The solution is to proscribe Stand Up To Racism, starve leftist charities of funding, and smash the public sector unions organising these mobs; not blaming the victims when you're meant to be on the same side.

Libya: New Proof of Mass Killings at Gaddafi Death Site

When protests against the rule of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi broke out in Libya in February 2011, the government’s security forces responded by opening fire on the protesters. As an initially peaceful protest movement transformed into a fully-fledged armed uprising against his 42-year rule, Gaddafi pledged to chase down the “cockroaches” and “rats” who had taken up arms against him “inch by inch, room by room, home by home, alleyway by alleyway, person by person.”[1] A brutal conflict began, with pro-Gaddafi forces indiscriminately shelling civilian areas, arresting thousands of protesters and others suspected of supporting the opposition, holding many in secret detention, and carrying out summary executions.

But after a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) military intervention and eight months of intense conflict, it was Muammar Gaddafi and his inner circle who found themselves cornered and isolated in the coastal city of Sirte, Gaddafi’s hometown, moving between abandoned homes to avoid the fierce and indiscriminate shelling by anti-Gaddafi militias from Misrata, Benghazi, and elsewhere who had surrounded the area. On the morning of October 20, 2011, Mutassim Gaddafi, the son of Muammar Gaddafi who had led the defense of Sirte, ordered Gaddafi’s inner circle, his remaining loyalists, and some of the remaining civilians to abandon the besieged District 2 of Sirte in a convoy of some 50 heavily armed vehicles.

The escape attempt was doomed: as the heavily armed convoy of Gaddafi loyalists sought to flee the besieged District 2 of Sirte, a NATO drone-fired missile hit it, destroying one vehicle, witnesses said. After traveling a few more hundred meters westward, the rest of the convoy came upon a Misrata-based militia and was then struck by airburst bombs fired from a NATO warplane, which incinerated dozens of Gaddafi fighters. While some of the survivors of the NATO attack engaged in a skirmish with the Misrata militiamen, Muammar Gaddafi and other survivors from the convoy fled to a nearby walled villa compound, and soon thereafter tried to escape through the fields and two drainage pipes underneath a major road nearby. That is where the Misrata militias caught them..

After a rambling, conspiracy-theory-filled speech delivered at the U.N. Wednesday morning, Gadhafi planned to spend the night in Bedford, N.Y., where his agents Tuesday pitched a giant Bedouin tent on a property owned by Trump.

As local officials steamed at hosting an accused sponsor of terror, the Secret Service prepared to escort Gadhafi to the tony town outside New York City.

Just as the town was preparing to deal with the dictator next door, Donald Trump, who said he unknowingly rented a piece of his 113-acre Seven Springs estate to the Libyan, stepped in and asked the leader to take down his tent and find housing elsewhere.

In his 1937 study, historian Loránd Szilágyi identified Anonymus with a certain Peter, a canon, alter provost of the cathedral chapter of Esztergom. Several authors shared his view until 1966, when literary journal Irodalomtörténeti Közlemények published the papers of János Horváth, Jr. and Károly Sólyom, who claimed Anonymus was identical with Peter, Bishop of Győr. The renowned historian György Györffy refuted their theory in 1970 and considered authorship of a Peter who served as provost of Buda, despite the fact that there is no data on the existence of such a person.

The CEO of a Minneapolis autism center under state investigation amid fraud allegations leveled by a former employee has been a fixture in DFL politics for years.

Nimco Ahmed, CEO of Milestone Development Center, is a longtime Democratic activist who appeared alongside Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan in a viral video in which Flanagan donned a hijab, pledged support to Minnesota’s Somali community and described Ahmed as a friend of nearly 25 years.

Now another prominent Minnesota Democrat has surfaced in Ahmed’s political past: Amy Klobuchar.

Alpha News has learned that Ahmed appears to have worked on Klobuchar’s first U.S. Senate campaign in 2006 — with a profile in Mshale from that year reporting that Ahmed joined the “Klobuchar team” and listing her contact email as nahmed@amyklobuchar.com. Multiple other articles from the same outlet identify Ahmed as a staffer for Klobuchar’s 2006 campaign. Additionally, campaign finance records suggest Ahmed was paid nearly $8,000 by the Klobuchar campaign.

The connection is noteworthy as Klobuchar runs for governor in a state rocked by massive fraud involving taxpayer-funded programs — and has made cleaning it up a central part of her campaign.

Klobuchar has promised “immediate action to root out fraud,” including a “top-to-bottom audit” of state government.

Ahmed, meanwhile, runs a taxpayer-funded autism provider currently under investigation by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) amid allegations that it is a “fraudulent” center.

Ahmed has denied any wrongdoing and accused Alpha News of bias for raising questions about the allegations. She has not been charged with a crime, and DHS has not disclosed the scope of its investigation.

Morgan worked at both Spectrum Therapy Center and Milestone Development Center. According to state records, Ahmed is listed as the CEO of the Milestone Development Center.

The threat marks the latest escalation in Washington's economic campaign against Tehran, which is US President Donald Trump's another weapon in the war against Iran. It follows earlier US sanctions on Iran's aviation industry and Bessent's "economic D-Day" threat on Iran and pledge to choke off Tehran financially.

Iran is yet to respond to Bessent's latest economic assault even as several countries have announced they are following through on US threats by banning the operation of sanctioned Iranian airlines.

Two Iraqi sources told news agency AFP that Baghdad would suspend flights by Iranian airlines following the US Treasury's announcement.

Georgia also barred Iranian carriers from its land, while Iranian airline Mahan said it suspended service to Turkey at the request of the Turkish government.

Iran's aviation sector has long grappled with sanctions, which have restricted its ability to acquire aircraft, spare parts, and maintenance services.
