Background
Hassan al-Banna founded the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in 1928 as an Islamist social and political movement opposing British colonial influence and promoting a return to Islamic governance. By the late 1930s it had grown rapidly and developed paramilitary structures. It shared with the Nazis a hostility toward Britain, Zionism, and Jews, plus an attraction to disciplined mass organization. It rejected core Nazi racial doctrine, however, because it contradicted the Islamic idea of the umma.

Public stance during the war: Early on, the MB showed some pro-Axis sympathy because Germany was fighting the British. A 1942 British report noted that while the group copied fascist organizational forms, it had “no particular sympathy for Nazi ideology.” Brotherhood newspapers condemned Nazi racism and Italian chauvinism. By 1942 the organization was receiving British funding. Al-Banna later denounced Nazism and Fascism as tyrannical systems that collapsed under their own weight.

The Mufti as the main bridge
Al-Husseini was not a formal MB member but maintained close personal and political ties with al-Banna from the late 1920s. He fled to Berlin in 1941, met Hitler on 28 November 1941, and became the most prominent Arab collaborator with the Nazi regime.

After the war al-Husseini escaped French custody and received a hero’s welcome in Egypt. Al-Banna publicly praised him as a “hero who challenged an empire and fought Zionism with the help of Hitler and Germany,” adding that “Germany and Hitler are gone, but Amin al-Husseini will continue the struggle.”
The Muslim Brotherhood and the NAZI are bound together by a hatred of Jews.

Historians such as Jeffrey Herf and Matthias Küntzel argue that Nazi Arabic-language radio propaganda and the Mufti’s collaboration helped fuse modern racial antisemitism with existing Islamic anti-Jewish themes. This synthesis later appeared in writings by Sayyid Qutb and in the ideology of Hamas, which describes itself as the Palestinian branch of the Brotherhood.

The Producer Price Index for final demand moved up 0.4 percent in August, seasonally adjusted, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Final demand prices rose 0.1 percent in July and decreased 0.1 percent in June. (See table A.) On an unadjusted basis, the index for final demand increased 5.4 percent for the 12 months ended in August.
In August, the index for final demand goods advanced 1.1 percent, and prices for final demand services increased 0.1 percent.
The index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services rose 0.3 percent in August after moving up 0.4 percent in July. For the 12 months ended in August, prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services advanced 4.7 percent.

Dr. Rhonda Patrick, a biomedical scientist specializing in aging and disease prevention, walks through Steven’s kitchen and reveals the hidden sources of BPA, phthalates, microplastics, and forever chemicals that most people handle every single day without realizing it. And the most surprising culprit of all is the receipt.
She warned against black plastic in the kitchen as one of the worst offenders because it is typically made from recycled electronics, which contain flame retardants (cancer-causing brominated chemicals) that leach into food, especially hot food. Acidic and spicy foods accelerate the leaching, which means hot sauce, ketchup, and mustard in plastic containers are delivering chemicals straight onto your meals. She recommends switching all condiments to glass.
Dr. Patrick explained that receipts are printed on thermal paper, and the printing works because the paper is coated with bisphenol A (BPA). They are, in her words, literally covered in it. Cashiers who handle receipts all day have extremely high levels of BPA, especially if they use hand sanitizer or lotion, because BPA is fat-soluble and the creams carry it across the skin and into the bloodstream at levels up to 100 times higher. She points to a study in adolescent boys where high BPA levels were associated with a 50% reduction in testosterone, at a stage of life when testosterone is critical for development. Her advice: opt for emailed receipts, avoid touching them when you can, and if you work as a cashier, wear nitrile gloves (not latex, which does not protect against BPA).

On September 7, 2026, a high-level Jamaican delegation delivered a historic legal petition to Buckingham Palace addressed to King Charles III. Its objective was to compel the monarch, as Jamaica’s head of state, to refer to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, the island’s highest court of appeal, three questions that have haunted the British Empire for centuries. Was the forced transportation of Africans to Jamaica and their subsequent enslavement lawful? Did this system constitute a crime against humanity? Does the United Kingdom bear an obligation to make reparation for slavery and its enduring consequences?
Culture Minister Olivia Grange, who led the delegation, shared a photo on X of herself holding the document aloft, captioned: “The petition has been filed.” King Charles III was not present at the handover. British media reported he was on vacation at the time, though Buckingham Palace said it had worked closely with the Governor General of Jamaica to ensure the petition was properly lodged.
Why the date is no coincidence
The day before, on Sunday, September 6, the delegation had taken part in a church service in south London under the theme of “remembrance, justice and repair,” ahead of the formal filing the following day. This timing is no accident: September 6 commemorates the 1781 departure of the slave ship Zong, aboard which more than 140 enslaved Africans were thrown into the sea so their owners could collect an insurance payout. That crime, unpunished for 245 years, now stands as the symbol of a justice the diaspora refuses to let fade into oblivion.

The Republican Midterm Convention last night, in Dallas, was a major, sold out hit, far bigger, better, and more important than anyone thought possible. It was really something, streaming all over the place, and really big numbers, despite going up against the NFL. The overall numbers beat the NFL. More than 330,000 American men this year will hear the words we did last spring when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. By the time we found it, it had already spread to my bones.
When prostate cancer is caught early, the five-year survival is close to 100%.
So have the conversation with your doctor. Don’t put it off.
If you're at average risk, that conversation should start around 50, and the guidelines now say screening every 2 to 4 years. If you're a Black man, start it at 45 or earlier. You are nearly 70% more likely to get this disease and 2 to 4 times more likely to die from it. Which is an outrage in the richest country in the world.
If your father or your brother had prostate cancer, start the conversation at 45, and even earlier if more than one of them did.
I am deeply grateful to the doctors, nurses and other medical professionals who helped to control my cancer and who continue to take such good care of me. Their skill, dedication, and compassion mean so much. The radiation treatment from last fall worked as intended, and I continue to do the things I care about, like finishing my memoir.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out and continues to keep me and my family in your prayers. We appreciate every single one of you.

Well, from my experience starting in 2023, they first try to create the consensus of "that motherfucker isn't real" and was just a sockpuppet of theirs. Then in 2024 they pivoted to pretending to be good and innocent and try to set that person up to attack others that they were copying. Then in 2025 they went full blown thieves, stealing everything and saying it was theirs, while spamming it 100x as much to bury any original instance from being found in a search. And now in 2026 they're declining, because it appears it was just eBot all along.

LDN 1295: The Giraffe Nebula
What does this image look like to you? Many see a giraffe facing right, with neck stretched high and long legs mid-stride (but some may see a squirrel instead). The featured image shows LDN 1295, also called the Giraffe Nebula, in the constellation of the mythical queen of Aethiopia (Cassiopeia). It is an object in the Lynds Catalogue of Dark Nebulas, compiled in 1962 by American astronomer Beverly Lynds, a pioneer for women in astronomy and astrophysics. Dark nebulas are interstellar clouds of dust and gas that block the visible light of the stars behind them. These nebulas are often faint and challenging targets for astrophotographers. Why do we see animal shapes and faces in nebulas, clouds, and pretty much everywhere? It is due to pareidolia, our tendency to look for familiar patterns. Pareidolia may provide animals with an evolutionary advantage, for example in identifying (and avoiding) predators.
