Trump lifts sanctions on top Al Qaeda recruiters, financiers days before 9/11 anniversary

As the US prepares to mark 25 years since Sept. 11, 2001, Donald Trump has removed top Al Qaeda figures from the US list of designated terrorists. Among those he delisted was Abdullah Muhaysini, a Saudi cleric who recruited child fighters and teen suicide bombers to wreak havoc across Syria.

The administration of President Donald Trump has removed the names of some of the world’s most notorious commanders, recruiters and financiers for the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda from its list of specially designated terrorists. Among those relieved of US sanctions this August was Abdullah Muhaysini, a Salafi-jihadi cleric from Saudi Arabia who participated in videotaped massacres of captive soldiers and recruited droves of foreign youth to carry out suicide bombings throughout Syria over the past decade.

The delisting of the jihadist recruiters came as part of the Trump administration’s removal of the government of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa as a State Sponsor of Terrorists. “These actions represent another historic step by President Trump to give the Syrian people a path to prosperity,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared on August 24, 2026.

Formerly known as Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani, Al-Sharaa is the co-founder of ISIS and founder of Jabhat Al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda. Under the guidance of Western advisors, Al-Sharaa rebranded Al-Nusra as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, or HTS, before he toppled the government of President Bashar Al-Assad in December 2024.

By the time he seized power, Al-Sharaa had been groomed by his NATO handlers as a reliable local enforcer. When Trump hosted Al-Sharaa in the Oval Office in November 2025, playfully misting him with Trump Cologne and asking how many wives he had, it was clear the US was ready to lift the sanctions that had devastated Syria’s economy. Two months later, Trump pitched a half-baked plan for the Syrian military to attack Iran. Washington had finally found its man in Damascus.

This August, the Trump administration went a step further, lifting sanctions on Al Qaeda propagandists, funders and fighters responsible for gruesome atrocities during the dirty war on Syria. These figures include Abu Sulayman al-Muhajir, a top Al Qaeda recruiter in Australia who fled to Syria; Shafi Sultan Mohammed al-Ajmi, a major Kuwaiti financier of Al-Nusra; and Abdul Samrez Jashari, an Albanian foreign fighter who has taken on a senior role in Syria’s military under Al-Sharaa.

Perhaps none of the Al Qaeda bandits who received sanctions relief from the Trump administration oversaw as many acts of sadistic violence as the Saudi-born, Turkish-backed cleric Abdullah Muhaysini.

Is Another 9/11-Scale False Flag Possible as Trump and Netanyahu Get Desperate?

The Genocidal Zionist Entity faces a crisis. Its Epstein-syndicate-blackmailed asset Trump is deep underwater in the polls. And Israel’s war on Iran, fought using the hijacked US military, is shaping up as a catastrophic defeat.

The US desperately needs to end the Iran war and stop the bleeding. American allies are the biggest victims of the slow-motion economic train wreck caused by the Resistance Axis’s blockade of West Asian oil and fertilizer exports.

In Asia, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan have nearly exhausted their strategic energy stockpiles. And in Europe, whose industrial economy was crippled by the US demolition of the Nordstream pipeline, energy supply shocks tied to the Hormuz shutdown are making matters even worse. Europe is beginning to face escalating shortages of diesel, jet fuel, and heating fuel.

America’s West Asian vassals are in equally dire shape. The fragile economies of Jordan and Egypt have been hit with fertilizer shortages and skyrocketing energy bills. And of course America’s petrodollar slaves—the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudia Arabia, and Qatar—are being strangled economically by the Resistance Axis’s control of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab.

If those increasingly desperate countries try to live on their savings, by cashing in their American bonds, the bond market will implode. The AI bubble, consisting of vast investments without much return, will pop. Economic Armageddon will ensue.

And then there is the petrodollar issue. US bases in those countries have been devastated by Iranian drone and rocket fire, and most have been all but abandoned. If the Americans don’t make painful concessions to Iran, they will be completely driven out of the region. That threatens the petrodollar—and with it, the planet-girdling ring of US bases paid for by the “exorbitant privilege” that allows US oligarchs to print unlimited currency and force the world to accept it.

So the US is faced with a choice between surrendering to Iran and limiting the damage to its empire, or escalating towards apocalyptic destruction. Surrendering while claiming victory is clearly the best option from the US perspective.

But the Israelis see things differently. For them, the war with Iran is existential. If the US surrenders, and Iran emerges stronger than ever, a revitalized Resistance Axis will emerge at the same moment that global and US public opinion are turning decisively against the Genocidal Entity. That will not only put an end to the endless expansionism of the Greater Israel project, but likely lead to the liberation of all of Occupied Palestine.

Historically, when “Israel” senses an existential threat, and the US doesn’t care, terrible things happen. In 1963, US president Kennedy vowed to shut down Israel’s nuclear weapons program. Israel’s founding father Ben Gurion, outraged by Kennedy’s intransigence, resigned as Prime Minister in June 1963 and largely disappeared from view. Zionist-controlled sources like Gemini claim Ben Gurion dedicated himself “to a quiet life centered around study and writing.” But many historians, following Michael Collins Piper and Laurent Guyénot, believe Ben Gurion “went dark” to devote himself to orchestrating Kennedy’s assassination. Following the JFK coup d’état, Lyndon Johnson, an Israeli asset, greenlighted Zionist nukes, the 1967 war of expansion, and even the attempted murder of 293 American sailors aboard the USS Liberty.

Even more terrible things happened in 2001, when American indifference to the Greater Israel project was allowing the Zionist entity to drift towards disaster. The “Israeli” economy was dead-in-the-water due to the dotcom bust, settlers were emigrating rather than immigrating, and a steady stream of Resistance fighters and martyrs were making life miserable for the settlers who chose to remain. Demographic forecasts suggested that Zionism was doomed, while the region was increasingly united against the Genocidal Entity—in part due to surging Islamic fervor and solidarity.

“Israel” responded by orchestrating the false flag 9/11 attack on America. Mendaciously attributed to Muslims, the massacre at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon stampeded America into a war designed to destroy “seven countries in five years”—namely, the seven countries that Israel viewed as its enemies. Iran attacks Kurdish Iranian opposition group in Iraq

The attack comes amid numerous reports in Kurdish media that the US is withdrawing from Iraq, including forces in the Kurdistan Region. This includes reports of air defenses being withdrawn.

Iran carried out a new attack on a Kurdish Iranian opposition group in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, one of more than 1,000 Iranian drone and missile attacks on the Kurdistan Region since February 2026.

In February, the US and Israel began attacks on Iran. Iran has targeted Kurdish groups. The attack comes amid numerous reports in Kurdish media that the US is withdrawing from Iraq, including forces in the Kurdistan Region.

Fighting increases in Yemen as Houthis look to al-Mandab Strait as potential pressure point

The Houthis could still threaten the key Bab al-Mandeb Strait at the entrance to the Red Sea to reduce pressure on Iran.

Reports in Yemen suggest that Yemen’s government forces have made some limited gains against the Houthis. The Houthis have dominated a swath of Yemen since 2015.

They have consolidated control over the last decade and launched attacks on Saudi Arabia, Israel, and other countries. They are backed by Iran. However, Iran has fewer funds to support them, and this could cause them to suffer setbacks.

The Houthis could still threaten the key Bab al-Mandab Strait at the entrance to the Red Sea. They could do this to try to reduce pressure on Iran. Currently, the picture of escalation is not fully clear. Both the Houthis and government forces are escalating attacks.

Reports in regional media, including SANA in Syria and Al-Arabiya, say that Yemeni government forces had taken full control of Hays district in Hodeidah province and made gains in Taiz and Al-Jawf, as Houthi forces fired three ballistic missiles at Taiz city.

Lee's film The King Of UFOs examines the royal family's links in UFOs and the paranormal and includes claims that King Charles flew an actual UFO in Canada in 1975.

The film features an interview with Canadian diver Dan Costello who claims to have witnessed Charles - then Prince of Wales - as one of three pilots flying a prototype UFO at Sandy Point in Nova Scotia.

Dr Diana Pasulka suggests UFO disclosure might not traumatise the public, but instead encourage deeper existential reflection

Potential disclosure of information about UFOs and alleged non-human intelligence would not necessarily traumatise the public, religious studies professor Dr Diana Pasulka said, suggesting that people's existing beliefs about reality could influence how they respond.

Pasulka, a professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, made the comments on That UFO Podcast, hosted by Andy McGrillen, in an episode released on 4 September 2026.

Her remarks address a recurring argument in UFO disclosure discussions that authorities might fear the public reaction to information about alleged non-human intelligence.

Speculation about a staged or gradual UFO disclosure has circulated for years, alongside congressional hearings, Pentagon briefings and the US government's release of UAP-related videos and records.

Pasulka has researched scientists, technologists and others interested in extraterrestrial intelligence for roughly six years, with that work forming part of the basis of her 2019 book American Cosmic.

Her latest book, The Others, UFOs, AI, and the Secret Forces Guiding Human Destiny, was published by St. Martin's Essentials on 28 July 2026.

Discussing whether disclosure could be psychologically overwhelming, Pasulka questioned the assumption that such an event would necessarily be disturbing.

She suggested that people who have not previously considered questions about spirituality, evil or realities beyond the physical world might find such an announcement more unsettling.

'It's not necessarily disturbing,' Pasulka said. 'It's disturbing if you've never thought about these things before, but it's not disturbing for those who give it some thought.'

Why Pasulka Says UFO Disclosure Could Do Some Good

That is not to say Pasulka treats the subject lightly. She has spoken elsewhere about being genuinely shaken by parts of her research, describing experiences that unsettled her own understanding of the world.

Christianity shaped her childhood, and she has said her UFO fieldwork led her to revisit that faith after her research led her to believe that some people were reporting experiences they interpreted as encounters with something beyond the human.

Still, Pasulka's comments framed a potential disclosure as something that could prompt people to reflect on broader questions about existence.

She floated a scenario in which a sitting president confirms the existence of non-human intelligence overnight, and suggested the shockwaves would not necessarily be destructive.

'I think that this kind of a, if disclosure happened and the president, you know, talked about it tomorrow, this would actually cause a lot of people to ask that question, like what's it all about? And that's probably good,' she said.

The Bigger Questions Behind Potential Disclosure

For Pasulka, that kind of jolt could push people who otherwise coast through life to actually stop and think about why they exist and where humanity fits into the wider picture. She suggested that such an announcement could lead some people to revisit religious beliefs or traditions.

Whether any such announcement is actually imminent remains an open question. The US government has released UAP-related reports, imagery and other records, while congressional hearings and calls for greater transparency have continued. None of those developments establishes the kind of disclosure Pasulka describes.

In the discussion, she did not provide a specific disclosure date or identify evidence of an imminent announcement.

Her accounts of extraordinary experiences and interpretations of her research are her own accounts and should not be presented as independently established evidence of non-human intelligence.

What she is offering, essentially, is a psychological reframe: the fear of disclosure may reflect, in part, how people with different assumptions about reality interpret the prospect of non-human intelligence.
