passenger next to the unruly passenger was
Jonathan Cahn, a well known Jewish Pastor and author
He was provoking Mr. Cahn and tried to choke him and tried to yank Mr. Cahn's laptop. The unruly passenger started to use racial slurs and that is when 2 other passengers tried to subdue him. The plane was diverted to Baltimore for an emergency landing. I heard Mr. Cahn
explain everything on his podcast.

Sep 8, 2026 (Bloomberg) –European natural gas prices hit a fresh three-year high as traders race to fill fuel storage facilities ahead of winter, while awaiting details of an Iran-Oman deal on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Benchmark futures rose as much as 3.4% Tuesday to the highest since Jan. 2023. While Tehran said an accord is imminent and will include a temporary safe route, it remains unclear for traders how the US will respond after striking Iranian tankers over the weekend, and the risk of ship attacks remain high.
Oil also advanced after strikes on Saudi Arabia’s energy sites injected more uncertainty across markets.
Europe needs higher gas prices in order to attract more seaborne cargoes to its shores, but with less than a month left until the heating season, the region’s inventories are still lagging behind. Storage is now just 67% full, compared with a seasonal norm of 83%.
“As the European gas market heads into winter with unusually low inventories, its flexibility to absorb further supply or demand shocks is limited,” Timera Energy analysts wrote in a note. “Europe is pricing up to outcompete Asia for marginal LNG.”
In Germany, home to the continent’s biggest storage facilities, sites are only around half full. The country could technically reach its national target for filling them by Nov. 1 if customers make sufficient use of the capacity they have booked, according to gas storage group INES. But if there are extreme cold spells during winter, a fill level of about 77% would not be sufficient, it warned.
Meanwhile, an LNG tanker that loaded in Qatar early last month has sailed through the Strait of Hormuz and is signaling Pakistan as its next destination, the first visible exit of the country’s super-chilled fuel via the waterway since July. A wider resumption of LNG flows from the Persian Gulf would bring relief to price-sensitive buyers, particularly in South Asia, amid shortages and power blackouts.
Dutch front-month futures, Europe’s gas benchmark, rose 2.2% to €74.95 a megawatt-hour by 12:25 p.m. in Amsterdam.
Rising gas prices are also bolstering electricity costs, with gas-fired plants often setting power prices. That is particularly relevant for Germany, where fading solar output during the winter months will increase reliance on the country’s fossil-fuel fleet. German power futures for 2027 climbed as high as €126.62 per megawatt-hour, their highest since October 2023, according to EEX data.

Trump will return on Thursday evening at the American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas to close out the convention, with remarks after Vice President JD Vance gives the second night's keynote speech.
With less than two months to go until the midterm elections, Trump and Republicans are gathering in Texas for their historic confab as they aim to energize the party's base ahead of key races that will determine whether the GOP keeps control of Congress. Supporters of the president traditionally do not turn out in robust numbers when Trump is not on the ballot.
Democrats and Republicans traditionally hold large nominating conventions during presidential election years. But Trump last year floated the idea of a similar gathering ahead of the midterms to showcase the signature policy achievements he and Republicans in Congress have produced over the past two years.
The president called the convention "a truly Historic Event" and "a RALLY like none other!" when he announced it earlier this summer.
The convention comes as Republicans face energized Democrats and stiff political headwinds as they defend their slim House and Senate majorities in the midterms.
But Republicans are expected to paint a contrast, as they use the convention to spotlight the Democrats' leftward lurch and tie the entire Democratic Party to far-left and socialist proposals.
"The midterm election is about the future of our country. President Donald Trump and Republicans are fighting to launch the golden age of America while extreme liberal Democrats want to tear this country apart and create a liberal failed state with their out-of-touch and anti-American views," RNC chair Joe Gruters argued in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Former Rep. Mike Rogers of Michigan, who is hoping to flip a Democrat-held open seat in the key Great Lakes battleground as he runs against far-left Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed, speaks on Thursday evening.
In the battle for the House, where the GOP holds a razor-thin majority, incumbents and candidates in competitive races will also be in the speaking spotlight.
They include Reps. Monica De La Cruz of Texas, Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin, Rob Bresnahan of Pennsylvania, and candidates Mike LiPetri of New York and Jay Feely of Arizona on Wednesday night.

The drone “was surveying regional waters in support of ongoing operations,” Hawkins said, adding, “U.S. operations in area waters continue.”
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard had boasted earlier Tuesday that it trapped and captured “one of the most modern, intelligent, unmanned submarines of the American terrorist army at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz,” according to a translated post from Iranian state news outlet Fars.
Fars later posted videos and images purporting to show the vessel out of the water.
But Hawkins’ statement insisted that the drone was hardly a crucial piece of cutting-edge military tech.
“The defective drone was an older model that neither collected sensitive data nor carried any classified sonar or radar equipment,” the captain’s statement said.
Iranian media outlets described the sub as a Dive-LD, an autonomous undersea vehicle developed by U.S. defense contractor Anduril. They cost $2.5 million each, DefenseScoop reported in 2024.
The development came three days after the U.S. and Iran traded new attacks in the Persian Gulf, rekindling kinetic hostilities in the region even as the Trump administration shifts its strategy toward defeating Tehran economically.
Centcom said it struck three Iranian crude oil carriers in retaliation for Guard firing ballistic missiles at two Navy warships.
The U.S. military later struck multiple Iranian tankers in response to new attempted missile attacks on a Navy warship, MS NOW reported Tuesday afternoon, citing an unnamed U.S. official. Centcom did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment on the report.
The spotlight on the watercraft offers the latest example of the U.S. military’s increasing dependence on autonomous tech to fight the war in the Middle East.
This summer, unmanned boat startup Saronic used one of its drone vessels to rescue crew from a helicopter downed in the Hormuz Strait. Saronic’s boats were later used in a strike on an Iranian submarine and ship facility.

WASHINGTON — The US military carried out strikes on Iran’s Kharg Island in the Gulf and around the southeastern Iranian port city of Jask, east of the Strait of Hormuz, in the latest retaliatory exchange of fire between the two sides.
"American forces have struck multiple Iranian tankers tied to the IRGC in response to more attempted missile attacks on a US Navy warship," a US official told Al-Monitor.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said following the strikes that it had destroyed five tankers: the M/Ts Derya, Horizon, Kaviz, Charminar and Riesco. The alleged Iranian ballistic missile attack on Tuesday was the second to target US Navy warships in just three days, military officials said.
The US warship that came under fire on Tuesday was not identified in a public statement by CENTCOM, which said that the ship and its crew were unharmed.
US military officials have repeatedly said they will respond if Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) continues to launch projectile attacks into the vital economic waterway.
Iran's state-aligned media reported that oil tankers were targeted by the US off Kharg Island and near Jask.
Roughly an hour prior to the exchange on Monday, the spokesperson for Iran’s armed forces headquarters, known as Khatam al-Anbiya, issued a warning that US bases in the region would again be targeted with attacks should the US military again strike Iranian oil tanker ships.
Iran's IRGC issued a statement early Tuesday following the US strikes, warning crews to immediately abandon tanker vessels at ports in Kuwait and Bahrain, Iran’s Press TV reported.
The IRGC said countries hosting US forces share responsibility for the US attacks and said crews should “immediately move their vessels away from both anchorages and ports, as they will be targeted.”
Iran's state-run broadcaster, however, issued a warning from Iranian Armed Forces, calling on crews aboard tankers anchored in Kuwait and Bahrain to “immediately abandon your tankers.”
The US military began striking sanctioned Iranian oil tankers last week, expanding the scope of its targets following IRGC drone attacks on two Saudi tankers off the coast of Oman, and what officials said was a coordinated but thwarted Iranian missile and drone attack on a US aircraft carrier and a destroyer.
The latest exchange of strikes over the contested waterway came hours after the Trump administration announced a new tranche of economic sanctions on Iran's commercial airline industry.
Earlier on Monday, Iranian state media and government social media accounts claimed to have shot down a US MQ-1 Predator drone over the Strait of Hormuz after allegedly capturing an Anduril Dive-LD unmanned submarine.
A US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed to Al-Monitor that an unmanned undersea drone was lost in the vicinity of Hormuz due to a malfunction “more than a day ago.”
“It was surveying regional waters in support of ongoing operations,” the official said, adding that the “defective drone was an older model that neither collected sensitive data nor carried any classified sonar or radar equipment.”
The official did not confirm whether the US had recently lost an MQ-1 or any other model of aerial drone. The US military has reportedly lost at least three dozen MQ-series drones in the conflict, which the US and Israel initiated in February with surprise airstrikes against Iran.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's plan to supply "personal superintelligence" is part of an attempt to diversify the company's revenue sources beyond advertising.
Meta rolled out on Tuesday a long-touted AI assistant that can autonomously send emails, sell a car, and book travel on a person's behalf, despite internal concerns that the technology mismanages its access to sensitive personal data.
The company's Muse agent, known internally as Hatch, is the centerpiece of CEO Mark Zuckerberg's plan to supply "personal superintelligence" to the billions of people who use Meta's services daily.
That plan is part of the Facebook and Instagram owner's latest attempt to diversify its revenue sources beyond advertising and build a viable business out of its enormous investments in AI chips and other infrastructure, which it forecasts will exceed $130 billion this year.
The product will be available only in the US initially, via a dedicated Muse app or Meta's WhatsApp messaging service, the company said in its announcement. Meta said it plans to add the agent to its line of smart glasses "soon," without elaborating.
A basic version of the agent will be available for free, while Meta will offer subscriptions priced at $20 a month and $100 a month for heavier usage, a company spokesperson said.
People can opt out of their interactions being used to train Meta's AI models, and the company plans to introduce an encrypted version of Muse later this year, it said.
Raising stakes for safety
Modeled on the open-source AI agent OpenClaw, Muse is designed to access a person's apps across categories like email, calendar, payments, health, shopping and the smart home, Meta said. People choose which apps it connects to and can revoke access at any time.
Each Muse agent runs on its own virtual machine, a cloud-based emulation of a personal computer, which enables it to keep carrying out requests in the background even when a person is not actively using it.
Syncing up with apps containing a person's real data both increases the agent's potential usefulness and significantly raises the stakes for safety, both for the people who have entrusted it with their information and for others who may be on the receiving end of agent misbehavior.
Vishal Shah, vice president of AI products at Meta, told Reuters the company had initially delayed the release of the product in April to make it more secure. Meta determined the extra work had allowed it to "cross the threshold" and "hit the minimum bar we needed to, to be able to put this into the hands of people," he said.
"It is impossible to say that there is never going to be a mistake, but every single part of the architecture has been designed to make this as safe, as secure, as private as we can possibly make it," Shah said.
Among the protections Meta built into the Muse system is a separate agent that monitors planned actions and, in certain cases, prompts Muse to seek authorization before carrying them out, the company said in its announcement.
Internal tests reveal mixed results
However, as recently as this week, Meta employees testing the tool have reported mixed results, according to internal posts seen by Reuters.
One person wrote that the product had been so useful in arranging vacation logistics that Muse had become "the third participant" on a recent three-week honeymoon in Indonesia.
Others flagged serious security flaws, like an agent routing around guardrails to expose a person's personal iCloud photos after being prompted to identify toys visible in pictures from a child's birthday party.
Meta Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth posted that he kept getting logged out and needing to log back in, sometimes several times within a few minutes.

At 3:30 p.m. on September 17, 2024, pagers began to beep and buzz in Beirut and all over Lebanon, alerting Hezbollah operatives to a message from their commanders. But the message was not from Hassan Nasrallah or anyone else in the terrorist organization. Within less than ten seconds, the pagers would explode, sending Hezbollah, Lebanon, Iran, and even the White House into a panic.
Before anyone knew what was happening, the blasts had Hezbollah terrorists flying off their motorcycles or collapsing onto the floors of supermarkets, writhing in pain as a bizarre smoke belched upward from their pockets, belts, or fingers. From the sounds of the blasts and the fright that followed, it became clear that a massive sabotage operation was under way.
The beeper bombing killed or wounded some three thousand five hundred Hezbollah operatives. Between two and four children were killed, and there were some other civilians hurt, but what stood out to most observers was the attack’s accuracy.
“This was the most impressive supply-chain operation in modern intelligence history, and maybe forever,” General David Petraeus, a former CIA director, told us. For an operation of its size, harming so many Hezbollah operatives and so few others, the targeting was unprecedented. “Usually,” Prime Minister Netanyahu noted to us, “the guys who get beepers were important—command-and-control positions. That’s why they need the beepers.”
As Hezbollah tried to find its bearings and switch its method of communication the next day, a similar wave of exploding walkie-talkies, cell phones, and other devices wounded another five hundred or so terrorist operatives. What was going on? This was an astonishing reversal for Hezbollah, which only a day before had viewed itself as enjoying a substantial measure of impunity by virtue of the size of its rocket arsenal. It thought it had deterred Israel.
Back at Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, ten minutes before the pagers were due to go off, everyone was on edge. In the spy agency’s state-of-the-art situation room, plasma screens waited for satellite video feeds to stream real-time updates from on the ground. If the pager operation failed, it could cause a collapse in confidence in the Mossad. So much money, so many years, and such great expectations had been poured into the project. If something went wrong, would Israel’s vaunted intelligence service plunge the country into its most costly war since the fight for independence?
Even a few minutes after the beepers started to explode, the Mossad didn’t yet know how successful the operation was going to be. There was no remote-tracking method to follow what was happening. Mossad Director David Barnea, a famously cool operator, was feeling the heat.
It was only as media reports started to arrive of beeper attacks not only in Beirut, but deep into Lebanon, in the Hezbollah stronghold of the Bekaa Valley, that the Mossad operatives allowed themselves to exhale. The warning that the president of the United Arab Emirates reportedly conveyed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about a week and a half before the October 7 massacre joins a long list of warnings that reached Israel's political and security leadership in the months and years before the attack.
According to a report in Haaretz on Tuesday, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan warned Netanyahu that he had received verified information indicating that Yahya Sinwar was planning a major operation against Israel. The call lasted about 45 minutes, but according to the report, the warning was not shared with the heads of Israel's security establishment.
The revelation joins the 'Jericho Wall' document, warnings from the Military Intelligence Directorate and statements by former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar and opposition leader Yair Lapid, all issued months or even years before the Hamas attack. Yet despite the accumulation of warnings, the most extreme scenario became reality on October 7.
'Jericho Wall' — and the invasion plans postponed twice
In the spring of 2022, the IDF received the 'Jericho Wall' plan, a critical document warning of an attack that reached senior defense officials. The document, accompanied by a presentation and based on detailed intelligence, described with considerable accuracy the Hamas attack that ultimately took place on October 7.
ynet also revealed that at a secret General Staff meeting on July 27, 2022, led by then-Operations Division chief Brig. Gen. Yaron Finkelman, who was commander of the Southern Command on the day of the attack, orders were given to prepare for war with Hamas based on 'Jericho Wall' — but nothing was done.
At that meeting, Finkelman concluded that Hamas would be able to achieve surprise only by disguising an attack as a military exercise or because of a mistaken assessment that it was raising its alert level in anticipation of an Israeli strike.
ynet further revealed last November that in the hours before the Hamas invasion, Finkelman himself fell victim to the same deception tactics he had warned about in his previous post. During a telephone situation assessment at 3 a.m., he raised those same two dangerous possibilities while discussing Hamas' heightened alert level.
Hamas had planned to carry out the same invasion plan during the Jewish holiday season in the fall of 2022 and again on the night of the Passover Seder in 2023, when IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi chose to stay overnight at the Kissufim outpost — without Hamas knowing he was there.
Hamas ultimately called off the attacks in order to complete preparations for its elite Nukhba force. Halevi himself learned about 'Jericho Wall' only two weeks after the war began, despite having served during the previous decade as head of Military Intelligence, commander of the Southern Command and deputy chief of staff.
According to the investigation, the reason Hezbollah did not join the fighting was apparently a misunderstanding between the group and Hamas during advance coordination carried out in July 2023.
Finkelman's summary of the 2022 meeting stated: "At its core, the 'Jericho Wall' plan represents a transition to a large-scale offensive effort inside Israeli territory as part of Hamas' lessons from previous events."
He said that if the ideas were implemented even partially, there was "significant potential for damage." According to the summary, the Operations Division chief gave the plan the appropriate weight and understood that Hamas was undergoing a strategic change.
