The five-year partnership aims to reach 5 million children across East Africa and the Middle East. Who, exactly, they serve will change as conflicts evolve. LEGO Foundation CEO Sidsel Marie Kristensen pledged to focus on those “in the most dire contexts.” Currently under consideration are Ethiopia, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria and Uganda.
The investment will introduce more classrooms to an IRC-led program called PlayMatters that offers training for teachers of 3-to 12-year-olds to integrate what they call “playful learning” into lessons. The goal is not to tell educators what they should teach but help tailor instruction to the needs arising in schools serving children traumatized by crises. Program leaders also act as a policy advocates for education funding at the national level, working with government officials to embed their materials into their curriculum.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC), an open borders-backing NGO fronted by former Labour Foreign Secretary David Miliband has been accused of “hushing up” allegations of more than 30 crimes.
UK government ministers froze funds to the NGO, which is a major partner of globalist billionaire George Soros, “based on direct reporting of sexual harassment and fraud”, it was reported this week.
With nearly five and a half million pounds of taxpayer cash at stake, a team from the IRC was sent to look into claims made over the body’s behaviour in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
But according to The Sun, when an IRC team was sent to Africa to look into 24 cases where the scandal was first reported, it found a further 13 ethics breaches.

The imprint of Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton is indelible. The couple’s presence and impact on the Caribbean island have brought nothing but prolonged despair for the Haitians. Their elusive and opaque deals in the country have not done anything to alleviate the country out of poverty depths. The purported interests of helping Haiti from its myriad of problems have only caused stagnation in Haiti.
The presence of Bill Clinton, who also served as the president of the United States together with his wife who served as the Secretary of State during Obama’s tenure can be traced back to the 90s. Their interests in Haiti are not a new phenomenon. If not, their interests in Haiti have almost become irrevocably entrenched and have had far-reaching consequences in the lives of ordinary Haitian citizens.
Their history with the country dates back to 1975 when they had their honeymoon there. If there is an unpopular couple in Haiti, it definitely has to be the Clintons; for they are held in contempt and in despicable terms. What the Clintons did is unforgivable to the Haitians.
The devastating 2010 earthquake left Haiti in tatters. The country’s economy reeled under the biting and excruciating effects of the earthquake. Because of their history with Haiti, the Clintons seized this chance in the interests of “assisting” Haiti in its times of unparalleled difficulty. But their involvement with the earthquake relief programs was the final proof Haitians needed to show that the Clintons’ true intentions with the country were to rob it for their own parochial interests.
Bill Clinton’s influence in Haiti ranges from the 1990s agricultural policies in Haiti that destroyed the country’s rice industry to the meddling in internal affairs and finally to the earthquake. There is a sense of permanency attached to the Clintons’ name as regards their activities in Haiti, particularly the Clinton Foundation.
When the earthquake struck, the global response was to send in donations to Haiti. But of course, that needed a commission that would be designed to have an oversight role as regards the disbursement of the various relief packages pouring through. The Clintons stepped up to lead the global response. The Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC) was brought into life and Bill Clinton was selected to be its co-chair. At that time, Hillary Clinton was still the Secretary of State and thus responsible for channeling USAID relief spending to Haiti.
One could not have found an escape from their influence. Bill Clinton co-chaired the commission alongside Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive. Some $13.3 billion was pledged by international donors so that Haiti could be rebuilt and the lives of Haitians uplifted.
The IHRC was comprised of two parts: one that had the foreigners and one led by the Haitian Prime Minister. Bill Clinton chaired the foreign part and it had all the donors; they had to the IHRC $0.10 billion over two years or forgive $0.20 billion of Haitian debt. Each and every decision made by the Haiti section of the commission had to be endorsed by the foreign section. And Clinton was at the helm of the foreign part of that commission.
As the money found its way into the possession of the IHRC, it increasingly became arrogant and opaque. The only thing that came out of the post-earthquake relief plans was the construction of an industrial park called Caracol, which cost $300 million. The US was also amenable to financing a power plant. The belief held by the Clintons and their allies in terms of rebuilding Haiti was premised on employing short-term plans espoused in the foreign aid industry that the US had imposed on Haiti all these years.

Glorification? There was zero glory in my addiction. It was truly the most excruciatingly humiliating and degrading experience you could possibly imagine. The Trump administration’s war on fraud is showing no signs of slowing down.
In the latest installment of “Fraud Friday,” Department of Labor Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito highlighted several major convictions involving unemployment insurance fraud, stolen identities, and pandemic-era scams that ripped off American taxpayers for millions of dollars.
D’Esposito, who was sworn in as the ninth Inspector General of the Department of Labor earlier this year, has made rooting out fraud and abuse a central mission of his office.
First up: Michigan rapper Jaiswan “J’Swan” Williams is heading to federal prison for more than 10 years after orchestrating a $63 million scheme involving stolen mail and online check trafficking. Williams had already admitted to stealing $1.5 million in fraudulent pandemic unemployment insurance claims using the stolen identities of dozens of innocent Americans.
Next: Kiara Smith, a former contractor at the Maryland Department of Labor, was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison plus one year of supervised release. Smith and her co-conspirators stole over $3.5 million in unemployment insurance benefits. She’ll pay back every cent — $3.5 million in restitution plus a $275,000 criminal forfeiture.
This one stings especially hard. A state labor department contractor using her work laptop and insider access to rubber-stamp fraudulent claims. This is exactly the kind of betrayal that exploded during the Biden years when verification was thrown out the window and billions vanished.
Finally: Jackie Smith, an Illinois woman, was sentenced to over 3 years in federal prison for her role in a multi-state scheme that defrauded unemployment insurance programs of roughly $100,000 during the COVID-19 pandemic. She owes more than $95,000 in restitution and faces three additional years of supervised release.
IG D’Esposito delivered the bottom line every American taxpayer needs to hear:
“We will continue to pursue every last fraudster who thought they could take advantage of you, the American people, whether it’s thousands or whether it’s millions, whether you’re a celebrity or a state employee or a private citizen. If you defraud the American people, we will find you. We will investigate you and we will bring you to justice. As Vice President J.D. Vance said, no fraud is too small and no scheme is too large. We are targeting all of it and coming for all of you.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchirejected Lebanese President Joseph Aoun’s claim that Tehran was using Lebanon as a bargaining chipin negotiations with the United States.
Amount said Friday that Iran was using Lebanon in its talks with Washingtonand that the Lebanese people were paying the price for Tehran’s interests.

Charon: Moon of Pluto
A darkened and mysterious north polar region known to some as Mordor Macula caps this premier view of Charon, Pluto's largest moon. The high-resolution image was captured by the interplanetary space probe New Horizons near its closest approach to distant Pluto on July 14, 2015. The combined blue, red, and infrared image data was processed to enhance colors and follow variations in Charon's surface properties with a resolution of about 2.9 kilometers (1.8 miles). A stunning image of Charon's Pluto-facing hemisphere, it also features a clear view of an apparently moon-girdling belt of fractures and canyons that seems to separate smooth southern plains from varied northern terrain. Charon is 1,214 kilometers (754 miles) across. That's about 1/10th the size of planet Earth but a whopping 1/2 the diameter of Pluto itself, and makes it the largest satellite relative to its parent body in the Solar System. Still, the moon appears as a small bump at about the 1 o'clock position on Pluto's disk in the grainy, negative, telescopic picture inset at upper left. That image was used by James Christy and Robert Harrington at the U.S. Naval Observatory in Flagstaff to discover Charon in June of 1978.

USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) transits the Arabian Sea as the aircraft carrier continues to support the US blockade against Iran.
Summary
Kuwait's army said it engaged seven missiles launched from Iran on Saturday, adding that the attack caused material damage but no injuries.
Centcom said US forces intercepted Iranian missiles and drones aimed toward Hormuz and Persian Gulf countries, with no reported US casualties.
The IRGC said it stopped one tanker trying to leave Hormuz after warning four vessels, while CENTCOM denied Iranian claims of damage to the US Fifth Fleet site in Bahrain.

Mohsen Rezaei, a military aide to Iran's supreme leader, told CNN any US-Iran peace deal depends on Washington releasing $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets.
Lebanon emerged as another flashpoint, with Araghchi rejecting claims Tehran is using the country as a bargaining chip in talks with Washington.
Iranian crude and condensate exports fell below 300,000 bpd in May, their lowest in at least six years, as the US blockade and shipping disruption hit Tehran’s oil lifeline.

Iran MP says Hormuz bill aims to cement Tehran’s control beyond tolls
An Iranian lawmaker said parliament is reviewing legislation aimed at reinforcing what he described as Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, saying the issue goes beyond economic benefits and carries security, military, geopolitical and diplomatic dimensions.
Abbas Soufi, deputy chairman of parliament’s Construction Committee, told ISNA that the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most strategic maritime routes and plays a central role in Iran’s economy, security and regional position.
Soufi said the waterway has become more important after the war and argued that the Islamic Republic’s control over it had been strengthened by the armed forces.
He described the strait as a vital artery for Iran’s economy and a deterrent tool for Tehran, saying it could serve after the war both as a defensive shield and as a strategic economic asset.
Soufi said parliament is reviewing a three-urgency bill on asserting control over the Strait of Hormuz, adding that the proposal must be examined from legal, economic, security and international angles.
He said several parliamentary committees, including the Construction Committee, Economic Committee, National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, and Legal and Judicial Committee, should review the bill because of its broad implications.

A Hong Kong resident captured a striking luminous object racing across the south‑western sky above Mong Kok at about 3.30am on 5th June, slicing through cloud before vanishing into the night.
Responding to enquiries, the Hong Kong Observatory said the object’s brightness, shape and high speed were consistent with a typical fireball meteor, though no formal sightings were logged.
Fireballs are unusually bright meteors. In astronomical terms, some define them as meteors brighter than magnitude −3 — a level that outshines Jupiter and even Venus — which explains why they stand out so vividly after dark.
Like ordinary meteors, fireballs occur when fragments of space debris plunge into Earth’s atmosphere and glow through intense frictional heating.
Their extra brilliance usually points to larger pieces of material, such as stony fragments or small asteroid shards, and they can burn for longer than standard shooting stars.
Colours seen during a fireball’s passage arise from different chemical elements within the object — for example iron, nickel or sodium — each producing distinct spectral emissions at high temperatures.
If a fireball is particularly large and skims the atmosphere at lower altitude, it may also be accompanied by audible phenomena.

A construction worker has found a time capsule from 1964 featuring four old English coins and a "spooky" letter telling him to use the money for a horse-racing bet.
The note, discovered underneath a statue in Crystal Palace Park in south London, said the money had been the winnings from a bet on a horse named Santa Claus in the Epsom Derby, and that its finder should use it to bet on a horse with a name that could be "associated with 'Santa Claus'".
"Unbelievably, there is a horse in this year's Derby called Christmas Day," site manager Josh Smalls said.
Smalls, along with the mayor of Bromley, has placed a bet on Christmas Day for the Betfred Derby Day at Epsom Downs on Saturday.

NASA Provides Update on Space Station Leak

The Zvezda service module’s transfer tunnel, known as the PrK, on the International Space Station has experienced cracks since 2019 that have resulted in small atmosphere leaks and prompted ongoing monitoring and repair efforts by Roscosmos.
NASA and Roscosmos have worked together to identify the root cause while Roscosmos has been applying leak mitigation measures, including temporary and permanent sealants.
The week of June 1, during Progress 95 spacecraft cargo operations, Roscosmos noted an increase of the previous leak rate to two pounds per day and identified new suspected leak areas in the PrK.
Following this observation, Roscosmos made the decision to begin work toward a more extensive inspection and structural repair effort Friday morning.
This revised approach involved cutting a bracket to better access an area identified as a possible leak source for further inspection, using a method that could have resulted in elevated risk to the structure in the area.
In response, NASA directed the four SpaceX Crew-12 members and NASA astronaut Chris Williams, who flew to station aboard the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft, to take a heightened safety posture, known as a safe haven, inside the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft during the procedure.
Later Friday morning, Roscosmos paused and did not perform the structural repair work in favor of conducting additional measurements and data assessments, which included inspection of suspected areas of interest and review of areas where sealant was previously applied.
NASA strongly supported that decision, and as a result, following that decision, Crew-12 and Williams ended their safe haven activities and returned to normal operations aboard the orbiting laboratory.
NASA will continue to work with our Russian counterparts, along with the rest of the international partners that support the space station, to assess and ensure a resolution to this matter.

NASA’s X-59 Aircraft Flies Supersonic for First Time

NASA’s experimental X-59 aircraft marked a major milestone Friday, June 5, when it flew faster than the speed of sound for the first time, setting the stage for demonstrating its quiet supersonic capabilities later this year.
NASA test pilot Jim “Clue” Less took off and landed at Edwards Air Force Base in California, reaching a top speed of approximately Mach 1.1 (713 mph) and altitude of 43,400 feet.
The X-59’s flight began at 11:08 a.m. PDT and lasted 81 minutes, with the team focusing on flying qualities at both subsonic and then supersonic speeds.
”X-59 is getting ready for its quiet supersonic debut. Since the aircraft’s first flight on Oct. 28, 2025, the team has made tremendous progress, flying 16 times in the last 90 days and getting into a steady test rhythm.
In the coming days, we expect to take the next step and push to Mach 1.4,” said NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman “I’m grateful to the NASA team and Lockheed Martin Skunk Works for their help getting us to this point, and I hope this is the first of many collaborations as we rebuild NASA’s X-plane portfolio.”
The X-59 is designed to fly at supersonic speeds while creating only a quiet thump instead of a loud sonic boom. For this flight, a NASA F‑15 chase plane flew nearby to monitor the X‑59. The loud sonic booms from the F-15 obscured any sound made by the X-59.
“The X-59’s first supersonic flight is a testament to America’s enduring leadership in science, engineering, and aerospace innovation,” said Michael Kratsios, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology and Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy. “This achievement comes as the Trump Administration continues work to unleash supersonic flight and enable American ingenuity.”
This first supersonic flight is a significant milestone, but an event even more critical to the mission is upcoming.
In just days, the aircraft is expected to make its first “mission conditions” flight, reaching a cruising speed of Mach 1.4 (925 mph) and altitude of approximately 55,000 feet. The X-59 also will be accompanied by a chase plane for this flight.
This speed and altitude are the base conditions for the X-59 when it will eventually fly over several U.S. communities enabling NASA to gather data about how people may perceive its quiet thump.
NASA will share this data with U.S. and international regulators to help establish new data-driven noise standards to enable a future viable market for supersonic commercial flight over land.
For the last several months, the X-59 has been participating in an ongoing series of flights where the plane has been flying at a wide range of speeds and altitudes – a process known as envelope expansion.
These tests are the first phase of the X-59’s flight testing. They are focused on performance and involve chase plane monitoring. When the aircraft completes this phase it will enter another, focused on its sound profile in order to verify its quiet thump capability.
The X-59 is the centerpiece of NASA’s Quesst mission, which aims to demonstrate quiet supersonic flight and help enable commercial supersonic flight over land worldwide.
These advancements will help travelers reach their preferred destinations faster, spending less time in the air.
Through Quesst’s development of the X-59, NASA also will deliver design tools and technology for quiet supersonic airliners that will achieve the high speeds desired by commercial operators without disturbing people on the ground.
NASA will validate design tools through ground and flight testing, providing U.S. aircraft manufacturers the ability to explore new quiet supersonic concepts, and provide them with confidence that their resulting designs will meet quiet flight requirements.

The U.S. doctor who contracted Ebola while working on a humanitarian mission in Congo has been released from a hospital in Germany after recovering from the potentially deadly disease.
Dr. Peter Stafford was working with the missionary group Serge in the Congo when he was infected with the virus, the group said. He was evacuated to a hospital in Berlin to receive care on May 20, according to the group. His wife, also a doctor volunteering with Serge, and their four children were also evacuated and quarantined.
Peter Stafford was treated at Charité hospital in Berlin, one of the top hospitals in Europe, where he received "antiviral therapy and additional supportive medical measures during the first week," the hospital said in a statement Saturday. His condition consistently improved over the course of his treatment, the hospital said.
"The initially high viral load decreased substantially under antiviral treatment and supportive care," Charité said Saturday. "Since May 30, no virus has been detected in the daily follow-up tests. The Bundibugyo strain is significantly less common than the Zaire strain of the virus and has no vaccines or treatment.
There have been 452 confirmed cases and 82 confirmed deaths in the Congo as of Thursday, and 19 confirmed cases and two confirmed deaths in Uganda as of Friday, according to the countries' respective health ministries.
Stafford was exposed to the virus during a surgery at Nyankunde Hospital in Bunia, a city in eastern Congo, Serge previously said. He has worked at the hospital since 2023, according to the group.
"I received first-class care, including experimental therapies currently being trialed for this type of virus," Stafford said in a statement provided by Charité. "Words cannot adequately express my gratitude. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Our thoughts remain with the people in the Congo who do not have access to such care."
A third doctor working with Serge, Dr. Patrick LaRochelle, was also potentially exposed while working in a Congo hospital. The American was asymptomatic and in quarantine at Bulovka Hospital in Prague, according to Serge's last update on May 24.

Rwanda Seeks Expanded Partnership with U.S. Space Agency NASA

KIGALI — Rwanda is exploring deeper cooperation with the United States in strategic sectors including space technology, scientific research, energy, and innovation, as the two countries seek to broaden a partnership that officials say has evolved significantly over the past decade.
Speaking at a reception hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Kigali on June 4 to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence and 64 years of diplomatic relations between Rwanda and the United States, Foreign Affairs Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe highlighted Rwanda’s interest in working more closely with the U.S. space agency, NASA.
“As a member of the Artemis Accords community, Rwanda remains keen to explore practical avenues of collaboration with NASA and looks forward to identifying mutually beneficial initiatives that can contribute to scientific advancement, capacity building and economic development,” Nduhungirehe said.
The Artemis Accords are a framework of international agreements designed to guide cooperation in civil space exploration, particularly future lunar missions, scientific research, technological development, and other space-related activities.
Rwanda’s growing interest in space cooperation is underpinned by an ambitious national space program led by the Rwanda Space Agency, which was established in 2020.
The agency focuses on leveraging space technology to drive socio-economic development through Earth observation, climate resilience, agriculture, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
The country launched its first satellite, RwSat-1, in 2019 and is currently developing a hyperspectral satellite designed to enhance Earth observation capabilities. Rwanda also operates a Tier 3-certified teleport and is implementing its National Space Policy adopted in 2025.
Through partnerships with countries including Japan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as its participation in the Artemis Accords, Rwanda is seeking to build a competitive space ecosystem and position itself as an emerging player in the global space sector.
Nduhungirehe described Rwanda-U.S. relations as having grown beyond traditional diplomatic engagement into a broader strategic partnership.
“Over the past decade, our cooperation has evolved into a strategic relationship grounded in shared interests and a commitment to delivering tangible results for our peoples,” he said.

The minister pointed to emerging areas of cooperation, including energy and technology, saying recent agreements between the two countries could unlock new opportunities.
“This important step opens new avenues for collaboration in energy security, technology transfer, skills development and innovation,” he noted, referring to expanding cooperation in sectors such as nuclear energy.
Nduhungirehe also welcomed Washington’s continued use of the term “Genocide against the Tutsi” when referring to the 1994 genocide, saying the terminology reflects historical accuracy and supports efforts to combat genocide denial.
He said the U.S. decision to use the correct appellation “honours the truth of history, pays respect to the victims and survivors, and contributes to the global fight against genocide denial and distortion.”
According to Nduhungirehe, the future of Rwanda-U.S. relations remains promising despite occasional differences between the two countries.
“As we look ahead, it is clear that the best chapters of Rwanda–United States relations are still being written. The opportunities before us are significant, and together we can continue building a partnership that delivers lasting benefits for both our countries and our peoples,” he said.
The remarks come at a time when Kigali and Washington are working together on several regional and strategic issues, including implementation of the peace process involving Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
While the relationship has experienced some friction over U.S. sanctions imposed on certain Rwandan officials and members of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), both sides have continued diplomatic engagement.
Rwanda’s Ambassador to the United States, Mathilde Mukantabana, recently emphasized that dialogue between Kigali and Washington remains active despite the sanctions on the RDF and senior military officials.
Responding to questions about efforts to have the sanctions lifted, Mukantabana said the measures “have not closed diplomatic channels,” underscoring Rwanda’s commitment to maintaining engagement with U.S. authorities.
Her comments align with Rwanda’s broader position that cooperation with the United States continues to be important in advancing regional peace, economic development, innovation, and security.
The latest signals of cooperation, particularly Rwanda’s interest in partnerships with NASA and other high-technology institutions, suggest Kigali is looking beyond traditional areas of collaboration and seeking to strengthen its position in emerging sectors that could support long-term economic transformation.
As Rwanda advances its space ambitions and expands its scientific and technological capabilities, cooperation with NASA could become one of the most visible symbols of a relationship that both countries say is entering a new chapter.

The authority for the United States government tocapture the electronic records of all Americans without warrant falls under the auspices of FISA-702.Reauthorization of the current authority is being debated. This is a deep walk into why this issue is so important to our government.
Having researched almost every aspect to the construct and the argument,I am confident FISA-702 authority underpins a much bigger, quasi-constitutional justification for the collection of U.S. citizen metadata. Without the 702 authority the legal justification for the apparatus of surveillance no longer exists. It really is that simple.
It is not the just the illegal searching of the NSA database that presents the issue, although that aspect has received the majority of attention,the capture itself violates the Fourth Amendment. The only way the government can justify the capture of U.S. Citizen data is if there is some quasi-constitutional or national security reason for it. That’s where FISA-702 comes in.==
Take away “702” search authority, and the data collection argument collapses. Any“incidental” search of the database then loses any plausible legal justification. 702 is the camel’s nose under the privacy tent that forms the baseline for all data records to be intercepted, stored and ultimately available for review.
♦Only one legal case has ever pushed into the sphere of challenging this unconstitutional exploitation. A 2025 decision in the U.S. v. Hasbajrami in Brooklyn, New York, where Eastern District Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall identified the misuse of FISA-702 “backdoor searches” regarding defendant, Agron Hasbajrami.
Hasbajrami plead guilty to charges of attempting to provide material support to a terrorist organization, alleging that he intended to travel to the Federally Administered Tribal Area of Pakistan, where he expected to join a terrorist organization, receive training, and ultimately fight against U.S. forces and others in Afghanistan and Pakistan.However, after his guilty plea, while he is serving time in prison, prosecutors admitted some of the evidence against him came as a result of privacy violations, unlawful FISA-702 searches.
justice_scales4.pngHasbajrami sought to have the evidence against him thrown out on 4th amendment grounds (fruit of the poisoned tree) and withdraw his guilty plea.The Second Circuit Court of Appeals denied Hasbarjami’s blanket evidence suppression motion for the exclusion of all FISA Section 702 collection in his case but did not weigh in on whether the warrantless Section 702 database queries were constitutional, instead remanding the case back to Judge Hall for a review of that question.
Judge DeArchy Hall received the case again and reviewed all of the government motions against the request to suppress the evidence.What results is a very well-constructed explanation and opinion of how FISA-702 was misused in the case[SEE 60-pg Opinion HERE].
Thejudge determined that U.S. government officials did factually violatethe technical rules and procedures for the use of FISA-702 searches, and the DOJ should have gone to court to obtain a warrantto look at Hasbajrami’s private communication.
In essence, yes, the 4th amendment protections of Hasbajrami were violated. However, the issue of overturning the resulting evidence becomes a matter of legal distinction.
The defendant, who admitted guilt (twice) did not claim the evidence was a result of misuse or a wrongful approach in searching the NSA’s library, from which FISA-702 search results are determined (a structural flaw in the defense motion). Instead, the defendant filed asuppression motion on the issue of his 4th amendment rights being violated.
The judge opinion holds that the FBI’s Section 702 queries violated the Fourth Amendment; however, the court ultimately denied the defendant’s motion to suppress the resulting evidence on separate grounds.
The value in the ruling by Judge Hall, is a few fold:
First, it is an excellent review of the FISA-702 origin and all of the constitutional arguments that surround the controversial law.
Second, the ruling clearly shows that FISA-702 searches are currently being used unlawfully and continually by government officials.
Third, the ruling clearly shows how “backdoor” 702 searches are violations of the Fourth Amendment. [Albeit in this case, of no value to the argument put forth by Hasbajrami.]

- Apex Space, resulting in a $165.5 million investment to expand its satellite manufacturing presence in Los Angeles and the broader Southern California region, creating 483 jobs.
- Voyager Technologies, resulting in a $75 million investment to expand its Long Beach aerospace component manufacturing facility, creating 152 jobs.
- Lanteris Space, resulting in a $16 million investment and the creation of 70 jobs to expand its satellite manufacturing facility in San Jose.
- Last June, A.S. Aerospace received an award, resulting in a $19 million investment to continue manufacturing precision aerospace hardware in Palmdale and Santa Clarita.
- Last November, Hadrian Automation, Inc. was a beneficiary, creating 650 jobs and investing $52 million in Torrance and Northern California to expand its aerospace component manufacturing. True Anomaly also received an award to expand its satellite manufacturing facilities in Long Beach, creating 400 jobs along with a $12.7 million investment.
NASA Centers in California
In the Golden State, NASA has three main centers and facilities focused on research, flight, and robotic exploration that all contribute to the state’s economic competitiveness, create high-paying jobs, and inspire the next generation of explorers.
- Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley has led NASA in conducting world-class research and development in aeronautics, technology, and science since 1939.
- Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base in Edwards is NASA’s primary center for high-risk, atmospheric flight research and test projects.
- Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena leads in robotic space exploration, sending rovers to Mars, probes to the farthest bounds of the solar system, and satellites to advance understanding of our planet. Generations of aerospace & defense leadership
California’s role in powering human spaceflight stretches back decades. The Saturn V rocket that carried Apollo astronauts to the moon was built almost entirely in California and the original Apollo spacecraft itself was manufactured across the state.
The Space Shuttle fleet was assembled in Palmdale, the first U.S. space station, Skylab, was built in Huntington Beach, and the RS-25 engine – originally developed for the Shuttle and now powering the Space Launch System for Artemis II – has been designed and manufactured in the San Fernando Valley since the 1970s.
As of late 2024, California is the top state in the country for:
