Different people experience this very differently. Glad he responded to the therapy. I'm older than he is, have abused my body rather severely with drugs, both recreational and OTC decongestants while smoking ~3 packs of cigarettes a day and over-work, have suffered my share of injuries (permanently disabled due to a couple falls) and am now overweight by about 60 pounds and something of a couch potato. Yet, at 68 years, I haven't been sick for more than a single day per year for the past 20 years. I take a LOT of D3 and keep my vitamins up to par with a couple extra grams of vit. C per day. I like an occasional beer or cordial / liqueur (never to intoxication), so I'm not "living a life of ascetic deprivation." Pat seems to be on top of a lot of things, but he takes lousy care of his own health and, as a result gets sicker a lot more than most.

There are FAR too many people who have a MUCH easier time with whatever the current "flu du jour" is for me to understand his story as anything other than anecdotal.

On Thursday evening, following reports that some had stepped forward on Twitter to accuse the founder in question, John Weaver, of the troubling behavior, the Lincoln Project curiously started erasing his existence from its website.

As of Friday afternoon, both pages were nowhere to be found on the website.

In the tweet, Comfortably Smug alleged that the scrubbing curiously happened after Fox News host Laura Ingraham tweeted out a RedState story about the allegations against Weaver.

Weaver — a longtime establishment Republican operative who advised the late Sen. John McCain from 1997-2007 and is married to a woman — became the target of an onslaught of accusations on Twitter last week after author Ryan Girdusky accused him on the platform of "grooming" and "offering jobs" to young men "in exchange for sex" throughout his career.

RedState reported that "after Girdusky's tweets … it was like the floodgates opened as young men stepped forward to talk about their (alleged) creepy experiences with Weaver."

Girdusky would later flesh out some of the accusations he claimed to be aware of in an article published by the American Conservative. Included in the article, were screenshots of messages from young men to Girdusky describing Weaver's alleged inappropriate behavior.

In one of the messages, a former college student recalled receiving a late-night phone call from Weaver during which he was asked about his height and weight. When the student answered saying he was "about average," Weaver allegedly replied, "Oh my boy, I'm sure certain parts of you are well above average."

Another accuser alleged that Weaver texted him, "I love your voice" and "I appreciate you, my boy!" after the 21-year-old male had just done a media hit.

It should be noted that so far none of the allegations have been confirmed. It also goes without saying that just because somebody says something on Twitter, it doesn't make it true.

The Lincoln Project is a Super PAC made up of ex-Republican political operatives who are anti-Trump and spent millions of dollars in the 2020 election cycle supporting Democratic candidates.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, it "began as an anti-Trump organization but has gradually evolved into a pro-Democratic political operation after raising millions of dollars from wealthy liberals."

I haven’t read a book since I was a junior in high school because nothing could keep my attention. I had mentioned I wanted to read What Are The Odds? to my parents and they purchased it for me for Christmas.

I received my first MyPillow from my dad. He’s one of those people that kind of gets into fads, someone will introduce him to something and it’s the best thing since sliced bread until the next thing comes along. So when he said he’d gotten an amazing new pillow I humored him but didn’t pay attention.

I usually buy a couple of dept store pillows when they’re on sale and when they wear out in a couple of years from cleaning I just replace them with the next sale pillows. Dad told me “his” pillows were on sale so he was going to buy me one. I was due for a new one anyway so I shrugged it off and accepted.

I have to mention, I’m in law enforcement so I need a comfortable sleep. Well, the first night I slept on the MyPillow I woke up to my alarm going off. I set it by habit, but I’m always up long before it ever sounds. I’d had a very physical shift so I didn’t think anything of it. Same the next night. My third night, however, was on my day off so I wasn’t overtired. I went to bed and slept comfortably for a solid eight hours. No tossing around or waking up trying to get comfortable. After two weeks of this, I had to admit my dad was right. It was the best pillow he's ever had, and now I could say the same.

I now have four on my bed, two softer than my two original ones, and plan on getting a body pillow to help provide comfort after wearing my gear all day and sleeping on my side.

It sounds fake, or too good to be true, but trust me… I never take time to write reviews and I’m a real person, not getting anything out of putting this out there other than maybe helping someone else out like my dad did for me. I will never use another pillow again. Also, a huge plus I can just wash them at home.
