Obama conference call leaked to Burisma, Biden emails show

The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, emails obtained by The Post show.

An associate at Blue Star Strategies then emailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.

The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.

The memo, sent shortly after the Dec. 2, 2015, call, also “outlined the trip’s agenda and addressed several questions regarding US policy toward Ukraine.”

Blue Star has said it began working for Burisma and contacting Ukrainian officials on its behalf in November 2015, and an email shows that on Nov. 18, 2015, Pozharskyi sent the Blue Star contract to Hunter Biden, Archer and Eric Schwerin, president of the Rosemont Seneca Partners investment firm.

Hunter Biden and Archer were among RSP’s founders, along with former Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz, Reuters has reported.

Recently, parents of the slain SEAL members held a news conference at the National Press Club. They are rightly demanding a congressional investigation. They have numerous troubling questions. Why was the Chinook not provided a military escort plane, as is standard military procedure when a special-operations unit conducts a raid? Why were the SEALs placed on an outdated aircraft built in the 1960s? Why were they not flying in a special-operations aircraft that is designed to take enemy fire and go deep behind enemy lines? Why were they ordered not to return fire against the tower from where insurgents were firing? Did the strict rules of engagement cause the deaths of our service members?

The most troubling question of all is, why did seven of the eight Afghans on that aircraft board at the last minute? They were not on the flight manifest, which was a gross violation of military procedure. The original Afghans scheduled to be on that Chinook were replaced just prior to the mission. In other words, the SEALs were accompanied by strangers. They could very possibly have been Taliban suicide bombers posing as Afghan soldiers. Did someone from within the corrupt Afghan regime betray our troops?

The scandal only gets worse. Mrs. Vaughn said that her family received a DVD from the U.S. military that recorded the funeral services in Afghanistan for her dead son, as well as the other slain SEALs. To the parents’ horror, a Muslim cleric presided over the services. In Arabic, he damned the “infidel” SEALs, condemning their souls “to hell.”

“I was disgusted,” Mrs. Vaughn said. “We went to multiple translators to make sure we got the imam’s exact words correct. All of the translators told us the same thing. I couldn’t believe that this cleric was allowed to so openly disrespect and insult our son and the other American soldiers.”

The U.S. military’s practice of using Islamic clerics at funeral services is part of Washington’s supposed outreach to the Muslim world. In reality, it is national self-abasement masquerading as multicultural tolerance. Aaron Vaughn valiantly served his country. Yet our military couldn’t even give him a proper, respectful funeral. He was betrayed — in life and in death. He was placed in a war zone with severe rules of engagement that eventually cost him and his fellow SEALs their lives.

Mr. Biden is no bumbling fool. Rather, his deliberate, reckless disclosure placed SEAL Team 6 in mortal jeopardy. He and his boss, President Obama, exploited them in order to boost their re-election chances. The SEALs, however, paid the ultimate price. Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden have American blood on their hands. The parents of the dead SEALs deserve to know the truth about what really happened on that final mission. Our finest warriors were killed and, possibly, sacrificed. It’s time for a congressional investigation. Or do we no longer care?

Report: Feds Had Evidence of Joe Biden’s Burisma Meeting Since Impeachment Inquiry

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has reportedly had evidence that former Vice President Joe Biden met with an executive from Burisma introduced by his son, Hunter, since the week in December 2019 when the House impeached the president.

The New York Post reported on Wednesday that an abandoned laptop hard drive contained evidence that Hunter Biden, who sat on the board of the corruption-plagued Ukrainian company, made the introduction to then-Vice President Biden in 2015.

The evidence: an email from Burisma adviser Vadym Pozharskyi thanking Hunter Biden for the “opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together” in Washington, D.C.

Less than a year later, in March 2016, Biden would pressure Ukraine into firing a prosecutor with jurisdiction over investigations into Burisma, threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.

Joe Biden has denied speaking with his son about his foreign business — a claim his son has contradicted.

The new evidence comes from an abandoned laptop that was left at a Delaware repair shop and seized by the FBI on Dec. 17, 2019 — the day before Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) held the vote to impeach President Donald Trump.

The store owner had contacted the FBI, but made copy of the hard drive before yielding it. He later provided that copy to Robert Costello, an attorney for former NewYork City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is an attorney for the president, the Post reported.

The Post also noted that other materials, including family photographs, support the laptop’s relationship to Hunter Biden.

The issue of Joe Biden’s intervention in Ukraine — and his conflict of interest — was crucial to the impeachment.

President Trump had asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into allegations concerning “Biden’s son.” He was then impeached, based on a letter from a “whistleblower” who had not actually heard the call between Trump and Zelensky.

The president claimed he had been acting in the national interest; Democrats alleged he had abused his power to smear a rival.

It is not clear why the FBI never released or acted on the evidence it reportedly seized, which supported Trump’s case.

During the Senate impeachment trial earlier this year, Republicans suggested that they would allow the White House to call Hunter Biden and perhaps Joe Biden as witnesses if Democrats insisted on calling more witnesses than the House had seen.

Hunter Biden was appointed to the board of Burisma in 2014, a conflict of interest that briefly prompted reporters to raise questions with the Obama administration at the time. The impeachment inquiry revealed that other federal officials tried to raised the issue, without success.

A report released by Senate Republicans earlier this year noted suggested that Joe Biden may have lied about discussing his son’s business dealings and about being warned about a potential conflict of interest.

Critics have accused Joe Biden of using his office to provide business opportunities for his family, which he has steadfastly denied.

Hunter Biden made an appearance at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, vouching for his father’s honesty.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday stopped the once-a-decade head count of every U.S. resident from continuing through the end of October.

President Donald Trump's administration had asked the nation's high court to suspend a district court's order permitting the 2020 census to continue through the end of the month.

The Trump administration argued that the head count needed to end immediately so the U.S. Census Bureau had enough time to crunch the numbers before a congressionally mandated year-end deadline for turning in figures used for deciding how many congressional seats each state gets.

The Supreme Court order was issued unsigned but with a dissent by Justice Sonia Sotomayor. It is unknown how the rest of the court divided.

A coalition of local governments and civil rights groups had sued the Trump administration, arguing that minorities and others in hard-to-count communities would be missed if the count ended early.

Last month, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California sided with the plaintiffs and issued an injunction which suspended a Sept. 30 deadline for finishing the 2020 census and a Dec. 31 deadline for submitting numbers used to determine how many congressional seats each state gets - a process known as apportionment.

That caused the deadlines to revert back to a previous Census Bureau plan that had field operations ending Oct. 31 and the reporting of apportionment figures at the end of April 2021.

When the Census Bureau, and the Commerce Department, which oversees the statistical agency, picked an Oct. 5 end date, Koh struck that down too, accusing officials of 'lurching from one hasty, unexplained plan to the next… and undermining the credibility of the Census Bureau and the 2020 Census.'

An appellate court panel upheld Koh's order allowing the census to continue through October but struck down the part that suspended the Dec. 31 deadline for turning in apportionment numbers.

The panel of three appellate judges said that just because the year-end deadline is impossible to meet doesn't mean the court should require the Census Bureau to miss it.

With plans for the count hampered by the pandemic, the Census Bureau in April had proposed extending the deadline for finishing the count from the end of July to the end of October and pushing the apportionment deadline from Dec. 31 to next April.

The proposal to extend the apportionment deadline passed the Democratic-controlled House, but the Republican-controlled Senate didn't take up the request.

Then, in late July and early August, bureau officials shortened the count schedule by a month so that it would finish at the end of September.

The Republicans' inaction coincided with a July order from Trump directing the Census Bureau to have the apportionment count exclude people who are in the country illegally.

The order was later ruled unlawful by a panel of three district judges in New York, but the Trump administration is appealing that case to the Supreme Court.

By sticking to the Dec. 31 deadline, control of the apportionment count would remain in the hands of the Trump administration no matter who wins the presidential election next month.

A “smoking gun email” obtained by the New York Post shows Joe Biden lied when he said he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

According to an email dated April 17, 2015, Biden, who was then the sitting vice president, met in person with Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma.

Bursima is the sketchy Ukrainian energy company that put Hunter Biden on its board and paid him a reported $50,000 a month — a month! — even though Hunter has no known energy sector experience and doesn’t speak any of the languages spoken in that country.

The date of the email is important. The meeting between Pozharskyi and the then-vice president would have taken place eight months before Biden threatened to withhold U.S. aid from Ukraine unless the country agreed to fire a prosecutor who was looking into Burisma. The prosecutor was fired.

In 2018, Biden bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations about how he got the prosecutor fired.

“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

And the investigation into Burisma was shut down.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the smoking gun e-mail from Pozharskyi reads.

This isn’t the first piece of evidence that proves Joe Biden lied when he claimed “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

Later last year a photograph was released of Biden on the golf course with Joe Biden, Hunter, and Devon Archer, who sat on Burisma’s board. The photo was taken in April of 2014 when Joe Biden was vice president, and just two years before Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless Ukraine fired the prosecutor looking into a company paying his son $50,000 a month.

Pretty obvious how this works.

Burisma puts Hunter on its board. Pays him $50,000 a month, even though he has no experience in the energy sector, even though he doesn’t speak the language. That money sure paid off. Oh, boy, did it ever. Direct access to the vice president of the United States. The very man with the juice to threaten Ukraine if they don’t fire the guy looking into the company.

And according to Biden himself, that’s exactly what he did. He threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless the prosecutor looking into his own son’s company was fired.

According to the Post, the emails were obtained after someone left a water-damaged MacBook Pro laptop at a computer repair shop. Whoever left it, never paid for the repair or came back to get it.

“The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019, according to the store’s owner,” the Post reports.

Also on the laptop is a “raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.”

The repair shop owner could not confirm the laptop owner was Hunter Biden, but there was a sticker on the laptop from the Beau Biden Foundation. Along with he video are documents and photos that sure make it look like this was Hunter’s laptop.

The FBI seized the laptop in December, but not before the repair shop owner made a copy of the hard drive. He then gave the cop to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Just this week we learned that Joe Biden’s son-in-law Howard Krein is chief medical officer for a firm called StartUp Health, an investment firm looking to invest in products to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, Krein is advising the Biden campaign on the coronavirus, a stunning conflict of interest, so stunning the far-left Politico reported on it.

A Google search not affiliated with an account shows the search bar auto-completes certain terms with “senate.” When a user types in “flip the,” “senate” shows up three times.

Searches that involve the term “democrat” also auto-complete with “flip the senate.” In addition, when it comes to a search with the term “Mitch,” the first name of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Google auto-completes with “vote mitch mcconnell out.”

The official Google blog stated, “How do we determine these predictions? We look at the real searches that happen on Google and show common and trending ones relevant to the characters that are entered and also related to your location and previous searches.”

However, a look at Google Trends shows that interest in the term “flip the senate” has been in steady decline since September 26.

A report in Psychology Today noted that “Trump has generated by far the most search interest both nationally, and in each and every state.” However, Epstein countered Psychology Today’s statement by saying, “Google controls people's perceptions about what kind of search activity is occurring. They have complete control over the numbers they display. And while it should surprise no one that Trump generates a lot of online activity, we're only aware of those big numbers (if they're even real) because Google wants us to be aware of them.”

Eight Republican-held Senate seats, according to USA Today, have the potential to flip. Google has the power, said Epstein, to be “personalizing the content of newsfeeds, search suggestions, search results, answer boxes, and other ephemeral content.” These actions could direct specific kinds of people to register to vote, to goad unwilling voters into voting, and convince specific kinds of people not to vote.

In the old days, you had to own a newspaper or get on TV (one of 3 networks) to get the message our, or discredit it. It was easier to bury news that was inconvenient. Now there is a digital din of thousands of voices competing for your attention. If you are inclined to trust and go along with authority, the old days were comforting. You knew what to think. If you were powerful enough, you could supply those thoughts.
