A “cold and ruthless” President Obama abandoned his Kenyan family in their greatest hours of need, according to a new tell-all by estranged half brother Malik Obama.

Laura Ingraham sprints past Rachel Maddow to become most-watched female cable news host

Fox News's Laura Ingraham has taken over this year as the most-watched female cable news host.

The host of The Ingraham Angle at 10 p.m. on weeknights since October 2017, she has experienced a large boost in ratings in 2020, propelling her past other female hosts, including MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, who had been the most-watched.

In every month since December 2019, Ingraham has beaten Maddow in nightly audience size, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, over that same time frame, Ingraham's monthly ratings never dropped below 3 million viewers a night, a marker she had never topped prior to this stretch. Ingraham similarly topped Maddow in the key 25-54 age demographic, which is coveted by advertisers, during the same time frame.

Ingraham, a conservative, espouses opinions that are usually opposed to those of Maddow, a liberal who often dedicates her show to criticizing President Trump and his administration.

Maddow's nightly audiences beat out those drawn in by Ingraham for much of 2017-2019, which covered a period that included the Trump-Russia investigation and the Trump impeachment fight. But Ingraham's ratings have skyrocketed this year, as have the other prime-time hosts at Fox News.

The divide between Ingraham and Maddow was particularly prominent in the first three months of the year, when Ingraham eclipsed 3 million nightly viewers, but Maddow never did. The MSNBC host has since bounced back with average audience sizes ranging from 3 million to 3.3 million viewers but still trails. Ingraham beat out Maddow in July by less than 100,000 average viewers, which is the closest Maddow has been to Ingraham since she last led the Fox News host in November.

“I am so proud to be working with this Ingraham Angle team of talented producers, technical directors, and editors," Ingraham told the Washington Examiner.

Ingraham's coverage this year has focused on the 2020 election and the pandemic, along with the news of the day. She has repeatedly questioned the doctors and leaders of the country who are navigating the country through the pandemic.

Pro-lifers arrested trying to chalk ‘Black Preborn Lives Matter’ at DC Planned Parenthood

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 1, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Two activists with Students for Life of America (SFLA) were arrested Saturday morning while peacefully attempting to chalk “BLACK PREBORN LIVES MATTER” outside of the Planned Parenthood megacenter in the nation’s capital.

SFLA had a permit and had communicated with the city about its plans to paint the street. This came following the city’s decision to allow a private organization to paint on the street a message in support of defunding the police. SFLA was asked to use tempera paint and had planned to do so.

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser famously renamed a street near the White House “Black Lives Matter Plaza” and had the slogan “BLACK LIVES MATTER” painted on the street there.

Early Saturday morning, police stopped the pro-lifers’ attempts to express their own message in paint. SFLA Strategic Partnerships Advisor Warner DePriest and SFLA student leader Erica Caporaletti from Towson University were then arrested on the scene. DePriest said in a Facebook live video (see below) that he was not read his Miranda Rights. The activists appear to have been charged with defacing public and/or private property.

Bowser “will be hearing from Students for Life’s attorneys about these unconstitutional efforts to limit speech to government-approved topics,” continued Hawins. “Today is National Pro-Life Generation Sidewalk Day, meaning that thousands of pro-life students are in front of Planned Parenthood and other abortion vendor operation[s] praying and sharing the message that every child deserves hope and a future and that every mom deserves and will receive help.”

In a letter to the mayor about the planned event, Hawkins and other organizers noted: “Having opened the streets of your city for public expression, Students for Life of America requests the opportunity to add our voices to those concerned about how people of color are treated in America. Black [l]ives do matter, born and preborn, as too many people are lost in America today from causes that should be addressed and prevented for their disproportionate impact on minority communities … Your original decision to paint ‘Black Lives Matter’ on the street is government speech. However, your decision to allow protestors to paint ‘Defund the Police’ opened the streets up as a public forum. You are not permitted to discriminate on the basis of viewpoint in making determinations relating to public assemblies in public [forums]. The message of the pre-born will not be silenced.”

In a statement, Hawkins added, “What you didn’t see today on the city’s streets will be coming to billboards across the country, because BLACK PREBORN LIVES MATTER, and we will not be silent. Viewpoint discrimination is not Constitutional, and we will take this to court if necessary.”

SFLA said more information about their billboard campaign will be released in the coming weeks.

Though only 13 percent of the female population, African American women make up 38 percent of all reported abortions. Four out of five Planned Parenthood abortion vendors are within walking distance of minority-dense neighborhoods, as noted in a Supreme Court amicus brief.

The massive D.C. Planned Parenthood is located next to Two Rivers Charter School in the district’s increasingly gentrifying NOMA neighborhood.

I didn't believe it at first but this proves that tip to be accurate and these individuals were arrested for child porn by the Obama admin DoJ and then let go and are now working in high positions within the tech industry. One of the individuals was an Obama era Health and Human Services cybersecurity director and the other claims position on the intel board and other high end Microsoft positions. Both of which are very eye raising.

'We're not planning on going anywhere': TikTok responds to Trump's threat to ban platform

Chinese-owned TikTok issued a message of defiance after President Trump said he plans to ban the popular social media app in the United States. The company released a Saturday video statement by Vanessa Pappas, TikTok’s U.S. general manager, in which she spoke to the millions of TikTok users in the country about there not being any plans to shut down the app. She drew particular attention to U.S. jobs created by the company. “We’ve heard your outpouring of support, and we want to say thank you. We’re not planning on going anywhere,” Pappas said with a grin. “TikTok is a home for creators and artists to express themselves, their ideas, and connect with people across different backgrounds. … We’re here for the long run.”

A TikTok spokesperson reiterated Pappas’s remarks when contacted by the Washington Examiner on Saturday. The spokesperson said privacy and security were paramount to the company. “TikTok US user data is stored in the U.S., with strict controls on employee access. TikTok’s biggest investors come from the U.S.,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “We are committed to protecting our users’ privacy and safety as we continue working to bring joy to families and meaningful careers to those who create on our platform.” The spokesperson also said that some 100 million people in the U.S. have used the app and the company has hired nearly 1,000 people to work with its U.S. team and that there are plans to hire another 10,000 more.

TikTok allows users to create and share short-form videos and has seen its popularity grow during the coronavirus pandemic as people are cooped up inside. The app has come under intense scrutiny over cybersecurity fears. A group of GOP lawmakers signed onto a Tuesday letter to the FBI, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the Homeland Security Department raising concerns that the Chinese Communist Party could use its power over TikTok to “manipulate” U.S. political discourse in the run-up to the 2020 elections. Trump’s presumptive Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, has instructed staff to delete the app from their phones.

Despite the torrent of criticism this week, TikTok received its most forceful denunciation on Friday in the form of a presidential threat. “As far as TikTok is concerned, we’re banning them from the United States,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One. “I have that authority. I can do it with an executive order or that,” he said, referring to the use of emergency economic powers. Trump said that action on the matter could be taken as soon as Saturday.

“Seen any interesting hills & valley?”: Playmates On The Moon, 1969

The story is not new, but it’s worth retelling. Here’s how Playboy’s reporter (and writer of Moon Shot. The Flight of Apollo XII) D.C. Agle told it back in 1994:

It was November 19, 1969, just 25 years ago, and four months after Neil Armstrong had bobed down his lunar ladder. Appolo 12 was racing around the moon with its crew, mission commander Charles “Pete” Conrad, command module pilot Dick Gordon and lunar module pilot Alan Bean. All on board were naval aviators, top pilots who had endured the gut-wrenching snap of an aircraft carrier catapult, and landed a hurtling machine on a heaving ship’s deck. All, that is, except a couple of sneak companions. “I had no idea they were with us,” states Conrad today. “It wasn’t until we actually got out on the lunar surface and were well into our first moon walk that I found them.”

He is speaking of Miss September and Miss October 1967, reprised in the 1970 Playmate Calendar.

While Gordon orbited in Yankee Clipper 60 miles above the surface of the moon, Conrad and Bean moved gingerly in their bulky space suits over the Ocean of Storms. Bending to pick up rock samples. Flipping their cuff checklists for the next instruction. Setting up the solar wind spectrometer. Check the list. Securing the seismometer. Checking the list. And… whoa!

Tossing here head and smiling was the stunning bare-breasted Angela Dorian, with the caption, “Seen any interesting hills and valleys?”

“It was about two and a half hours into extravehicular activity,” says Bean. “I flipped the page over and there she was. I hopped over to where Pete was and showed him mine, and he showed me his.”

Conrad had been joined by the charming and equally nude Reagan Wilson, her hair tousled, reclining against a bale of hay with the caption, “Preferred Tether Partner.”

Just how did these lunar lovelies get by NASA? Easily. “It was part of the game,” says Conrad. “Guys doing joke things. It probably goes back to Mercury. The pad leader, Guenter Wendt, always had some gag thing. So did the crews. I think Dave Scott was the first to think of doing something on the cuff checklist.”

It was a family thing,” confirms Scott, backup commander for the Apollo12 mission. “We spent a lot of time going through the checklist to see where we could insert something humorous. We got that centerfold off the newsstand. Then we had to get it printed on fire-proof plastic-coated paper.”

Unfortunately, Scott and his merry NASA pranksters didn’t get to enjoy publicly the fruits of their labors.

“We didn’t say anything on the air,” says Bean. “We thought some people back on earth might become upset if they found out we had Playboy Playmates in out checklists. They would have said, ‘This is where our tax money is going?'”

But the lunar explorer were, after all, human. “We giggled and laughed so much,” confesses Conrad, “that people accused us of being drunk or having ‘space rapture,'”

After completing their next extravehicular activity, Conrad and Bean rocketed off to dock with Yankee Clipper as the command module was making its 31st revolution around the moon. Then they crawled through the hatch with their moon mementos to rejoin Gordon.

“When we got back to earth,” remembers Bean, “Conrad put the photo on restricted access. He didn’t let them distribute it like he did the rest of the photos. He didn’t want it to get out to the press.”

The Playmates were eventually forgotten. It was not until long afterward, in fact, that Conrad happened to look closely at the photo he’d had framed of himself on the moon (below) with Bean reflected in his visor. “All of a sudden I looked at the cuff checklist on my left arm and I said, ‘Holy Christmas, that’s the Playmate of the Month sitting on my arm!'”

The ‘flight of the Playboy bunnies’ has gone down in astronaut lore as one of the most iconic astronaut pranks. As fellow Apollo 12 astronauts Pete Conrad and Alan Bean explored the lunar surface—with small black-and-white photocopied Playboy images pasted into the wrist cuff checklists of their spacesuits—Gordon was left alone onboard the command module to circle the moon. It was there, in the silence and loneliness of lunar orbit, that he discovered his surprise stowaway crew ‘mate.’ This cue card was affixed via Velcro strips to the inside of one of his command module lockers. A uniquely risqué item from a successful risky space voyage—this flown artifact remains one of only two known original Playboy bunny color likenesses to have made it to the moon and back! The Port of Seattle today announced the implementation of a new human trafficking awareness training for its employees, developed in partnership with Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST). This training – the first proprietary anti-human trafficking training developed by a port authority – will ensure that Port staff, and others who work at Port facilities, have the knowledge and resources to recognize and respond to instances of human trafficking.

“The Port has made a commitment to safety and security, that includes learning to help spot and stop human trafficking,” said Port of Seattle Commission President Peter Steinbrueck. “This training will provide our staff and partners with the know-how to interrupt the traffickers that make this issue such a pervasive local concern and reach victims of human trafficking to ensure the airport and our maritime facilities are safe and welcoming for our community.”

“Human traffickers often move victims through airports and seaports,” explains Mar Brettmann, CEO of BEST. “The Port of Seattle partnered with BEST to create two online human trafficking prevention courses—one for the maritime industry and another for the aviation industry. This training will help stop labor and sex trafficking in Washington state as aviation and maritime workers learn how to recognize and quickly respond to a human trafficking situation. All employees can assist people who are coerced to work against their will to once again find freedom and hope.”

The newly launched Port curricula – “Flights to Freedom: Human Trafficking Training Prevention” for aviation employees and “Ports to Freedom: Human Trafficking Training Prevention” for maritime employees – encompasses an e-Learning module and in-person trainings. The trainings ensure Port employees understand what human trafficking is, as well as how to identify, report and stop human trafficking that may take place in or around Port facilities. During January 2020 National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Port employees participated in one of three in-person trainings. Additionally, the Port Police Department has previously developed its own law enforcement-specific human trafficking intervention training.

“What we know is that traffickers will take their victims up and down the I5, stop in cities along the way for a couple of nights, make some money and then move on,” said Staysha Hackmann, the Sex Trafficking Intervention Coordinator for Community Works.

Hundreds of children are exploited along the I5 corridor on a monthly basis.

“Portland is the second largest city for forced child prostitution in the United States right after Las Vegas,” says Arreguin.
